This is a YouTube video titled "Is there a minimum team revenue size that makes an agency business sellable?" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion from December 4, 2024, about the revenue thresholds that make an agency attractive to buyers, focusing on profitability and business predictability.
Is there a minimum team revenue size where an agency is sellable? You know I would say starting at I've seen some really small ones with just tens of thousands of revenue. You know in that case you're pretty much always just buying the brand. There's not going to be a lot of predictability. There's not going to be much. It's like the website, the logo. Some customers have used the company in the past but it's generally the founder delivering the service and finding the customers. I think it gets really exciting when there's enough profit from the business to cover someone's full time salary. For example, maybe that's 100,000 in net profit per year or 200,000 net profit. That's when a lot of buyers really start getting interested. I think if you want to really maximize the amount of interest, especially with our buyer group around like 500,000 EBITDA, that's when things get really, really exciting in my opinion.
