MicroAcquire Product Update - October 2020

Andrew walks through MicroAcquire's October 2020 updates, including new integrations with Stripe, Chartmogul, and Google Analytics so buyers can see deeper financial data on startups. The platform added favoriting, hiding startups, and a Premium tier for both sides.
How's it going everybody? This is Andrew, the founder of microagguire here. And today I want to go over a few exciting product updates that we've been working on. So without further ado, we've made some pretty big upgrades to our metrics. So this allows founders to connect Stripe, chart, Mogul, Barometrics, ProfitWell, and also Google Analytics to give you as a buyer a true view into the financial health of the business and over a 12 month period instead of just the boxes that you see at the bottom. So if a founder connects Stripe, Charmogul, Barometrics or ProfitWell, you'll be able to see the revenue over 12 months. And same with Google Analytics as well. You can see sessions, page views, organic search, which can tell you a lot of things about a startup, how it's trending, if it's going up, if it's going down, what is the growth rate. And as a founder, if you're listing your start startup with microquire, connecting these analytics is very easy to do. It's also secure. We only ask for read access only. So for Stripe you would just sign into your Stripe account and that would allow us to calculate your revenue and the way that buyers, specifically SaaS buyers, want to see them, such as your annual recurring revenue, your monthly recurring revenue, your customer lifetime value, your churn rate and much more. And, and if you're using chartmogul, you would just simply enter in your API key. For Barometrics, just your API key as well. Takes just a second. And I should also note if you're not comfortable showing this data even after you connect it, if you delete it from the system, it's gone. So you can rest assured that your data is secure, you can remove it at any time. And for Google Analytics you're going to need your view ID to get that, you're going to go to admin settings, enter that in and it's going to ask you to log into Google Analytics and then that's going to pull in your search traffic as well. And as a seller, I highly recommend connecting these metrics because it gives buyers so much more confidence that the revenue numbers that you are stating are correct and you're able to actually prove them by connecting your billing system directly into microacquire. And, and these metrics are only viewable to people that you approve. So in this example I have approved myself to view these metrics. So if I move over to a buyer profile, I can see that I've been granted access. I can now see the startup name I can see the contact information, the overview document that contains a bit more information about the startup, again only seen by people which the founder approves and then also the Google Analytics search traffic and then whatever billing system that they connected for revenue metrics as well. And I also have a number of other feature upgrades that have been highly requested. I appreciate everyone's feedback, such as the ability to favorite startups, to hide startups you may not be interested in viewing anymore in terms of your private requests, being able to hide ones that may be older and you no longer want to see them. And so this will allow you to just manage your account a lot better and to filter through startups a lot faster. So a lot of amazing upgrades coming. Again, appreciate everyone's feedback. Definitely appreciate everyone who signed up for Microacquired Premium. This has really made a better experience for both buyers and sellers. I love hearing the positive feedback on both sides. For buyers it allows them to show sellers that they are serious and that they are engaged in potentially acquiring their startup. For founders it allows them to focus on fewer quality conversations. Previously when a startup would post on Microacquire they would get 50 plus requests. The this allows them to focus on fewer but more serious buyers which creates a better experience and allows them to sell their startup faster. Because you're speaking to people that have been verified and are serious buyers. And after 30 days if you haven't subscribed to Microacquire Premium then the startups are unlocked and the 20,000 other buyers on Microquire can request additional information and potentially make an offer to the startup. So thanks again everybody for all your support. It's been amazing seeing Microacquire grow and if you have any additional feedback or questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks.
