Unleashing the Untapped Market Potential in Horizontal SaaS #acquire #business #startup

So vertical SaaS, I guess one flavor or another, has been probably like the throughput or the connective thread across my career. So that's what I kind of stepped in prioritizing, because I knew it the best. But and I'm probably the 300th person who has said this on your podcast, but vertical SaaS all kind of tastes like chicken. So I think my thesis has kind of evolved where, you know, we were starting to look more closely at horizontal SaaS plays and then thinking more about the vertical component from a go to market perspective to to avoid kind of the pitfall of if you market to everybody, you market to nobody, but also to avoid kind of the trade off of vertical SaaS, which is smaller kind of niche markets. So how can we take a horizontal play that has a bigger addressable market.
