Non-technical founders discuss how to build and scale companies without coding skills. The speakers cover sales strategies, marketing tactics, and assembling teams that complement your weaknesses. They share how lacking technical expertise can actually be an advantage in certain situations.
But the biggest risk is you can't get in there and code. But the biggest benefit is you can spend all your time on sales and marketing, which is what I've always done as as a founder. Anything you'd add to that?
Renier yeah, just what you said at the end. If you're not technical then I hope that you're really good with sales or marketing or you have a really good idea of building teams, being a leader, having a vision. I've met countless founders and work with countless founders and buyers where they're not technical but they're really good marketers, really good salespeople and just really good visionaries in terms of okay, I know what a good deal is. I know where to add value. I can hire a team or work with a team to add this value even if I technically don't know how to do it. That's my vision. I know how to add value and maximize my value after the acquisition.
