Savita scored 8.5 out of 9 in her Olympiad debut, the best performance by an Indian athlete at the games. Commentators celebrate her first-Olympiad victory as a major moment for her and the country.

Combining both the open team and the women's team, I think Savita has been our best performing Indian. Yeah, by far.
I mean, first Olympiad, it is incredible. And Savita wins! Let's go! Wow, wow, wow!
The more I say, the less I will find good words about it. She is an absolute star. And, you know, 8.5 out of 9. And what a way to make a name for herself, not just for herself but for the entire country.
