Magnus Carlsen returns to lead the Chess Avengers after their league victory. The team kept only a core group of players and added Jagis, a newcomer known for smart play and his distinctive hoodie.

All teams are strong, but ours is very special this time. We have we have Magnus back, of course. It's really you know very special for not only our team but also for the event.
Anybody particularly you're looking forward to play?
Like many players, Magnus.
I think we have a very young team and we don't have a fake relationship with each other.
Fake appreciations. Yeah, our managers were quite crazy, so we. We won the league last season. They basically got rid of everybody else and only kept me. I'm excited to have Jagis with us, and, um, very smart boy. Today he was the only one to come in a hoodie.
