Hello, hello, hello! Welcome everyone to the live stream. We are live here, and this is your host Sagar Shah welcoming you to the penultimate round of the FIDE Chess Olympiad 2026. And joining me today is the one and only Amruta.
Hello, Sagar, and the chat. Penultimate day, Sagar.
Yes, penultimate, penultimate round. A lot of things also Important day, Amruta. Can we keep this here while we are streaming?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You have to be very careful, guys. Guys, also today a big day because we have also a very new FIDE president. So a lot of things happening.
Yeah, today the new FIDE president has been crowned. Timur Turlov is the new FIDE president, and for Indian fans, Vishy Anand is the new deputy FIDE president. So it is very interesting. The, the elections were hard-fought. In fact, in the first round itself, we did not get a clear result because Turlov got 96 votes, Vadim got 76 votes, and Wüttner got 20 votes. So it was no one got more than fifty percent. So they did it again, and this time only Vadim and Timur, and Timur got hundred and ten. Vadim got eighty five, and that's how things rolled.
Wow! So it was a very interesting election this time. It went to round two like tiebreaks.
Yes.
And by the way, all the people who are asking what was the name of the song that we played in the intro, I've put the link in the description so you can check it out. It's by a talented young artist named Siddharth, and Amruta is also the— yes, he's also, uh, our nephew, but I think more importantly his song is very good. Um, Harshit bhai will be here, guys. Let's have a look at what is in store for today, Amruta. A lot of action is coming the way of people. Let's first look at the standings. Um, and this is what we have today, guys. In the open section, Uzbekistan is leading with 16 match points and their second tiebreak also very high. India is on second position with 15. Uzbekistan too has reached third position and Armenia at fourth position, all on 15 points. And then we have Many teams on 14 points: China, Germany, France, Spain, Ukraine, Hungary.
I mean, Uzbekistan too is incredible.
Incredible, yes.
Reaching the third spot at the penultimate round is such a difficult task, and I don't think this has happened before.
It's huge in a way, Amrita. And the main thing here to note is that USA does not even feature— the top seeds don't even feature at the top 10 teams of the tournament. So it's a very tough tournament, and it's great that India still has chances. These are the pairings, Amruta, of the game of the tenth round. We have Armenia taking on Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan two versus India, and Ukraine versus China. And you will see that first two are really important matches. If Armenia manages to hold Uzbekistan. Or beat them, India's chances for gold significantly rise. Now if we analyze that match, Haik versus Nodirbek Abdusattorov, you can say that Haik with white maybe is possible to hold Nodirbek.
To hold, yes.
Robert Hovhannisyan will struggle, I believe, against Javokhir Sindarov. I think today Sindarov will come out all out against him.
Yeah, especially Sindarov is white and especially When you lose a game, next round you are in a warrior mode.
Right, and Shant Sergisyan plays Nodirbek Yakubov. So this will be an interesting battle as well.
I mean, basically it's very clear that Shant
Correct. And lastly, we have the man in form for Armenia, Gabriel Sergisyan. He takes on Mukhidin Madaminov. I think a big clash there, and maybe there lies Armenia's chance. Because that is where also Mukhidin will have white, but maybe Sergisian is known as the Mr. Olympiad because he has helped Armenia win many Olympiads.
Yeah, that's, uh, and then he's playing on board number 4, you know, like earlier he has been there on the very top.
I think he has played on 1 as well in Chennai, on 2 whenever Levon was part of the team. India, by the way.
By the way, just a question. Even if there is a draw between Armenia and Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan would be saying that it's a good news for Uzbekistan because their tiebreak is higher.
So even if India tie with them, they would still be on a higher points. But then the last round will once again come in where you don't know what will happen. So Uzbekistan would want to win clean today. We have Uzbekistan versus India where we have Nihal Sarin once again playing today.
He should not even try to overstretch with black. Like yesterday, Anish lost with him, which was a very big result for Netherlands. Like, how does the team beat 3.5?
Yeah, that's a huge result actually for Uzbekistan to beat Netherlands 3.5-0.5. I think Amruta Gukesh will try to push today with the white pieces on board 4. He's facing Ortik Nigmatov, who is A good player, but not really at the top level. But I think a very dangerous board is board three, where Suyarov has been playing amazingly well, and he is a very talented youngster from Uzbekistan.
So I would say the strategy can be like a simple one: both blacks, black pieces go for a draw, Prag and Nihal, and Arjun and Gukesh has to have to strike. And Prague can see, like, if the position gets the chance, he can.
I mean, even if we win 2.5, 1.5, it would be fine. Just winning is important here. Let's, Amruta, look at the bigger clash today, I would say, in my opinion, because this is literally the gold medal clash in the women's section. You know, if we look here, China has been dominating this Olympiad in 9 rounds. You can score a total of 18 match points. They have dropped only one match point and are on 17. Wow!
And I think when in 2018 we had gone to Batumi, there also China.
Yes, I agree. And Chinese team is without their top female players, but yet they are leading. But look at the tiebreak too, Amruta. India has a higher tiebreak too than all other countries. Which means that if China is beaten today, India would move to the top pole position with 17 points and would actually have an incredible chance at gold.
Wow!
So it will remain only one round. If we manage to beat today, it raises our chances to maybe 70%.
Yes, a huge one. And so here, let's have a look at the pairing—the second one—that is China-India. Today we have rested Vaishali. Guys, let us know your thoughts on what you feel about it. I think it's the right call to rest Vaishali. And by the way, DMS D3I sends a Super Chat saying 4-0. Wow, maybe China? No, maybe talking about India versus Uzbekistan too.
Their form is like with their form you cannot have 4-0. It's just like if that happens. by India. It is unbelievably incredible.
Let's see if that happens. I think India needs to win by a big margin also to improve their tiebreak score. Uh, but coming to the women, Zhu Jin'er takes on Hampi. That's already a tough board. Hampi is black, but I think she will try to hold on. Song Yuxin versus Divya— I think this is where India should strike. Divya is playing really well. She has scored, I think, six points out of eight already, and she is playing incredibly well. And then Lu Miaoyi is taking on Vantika Agrawal here. Both players in good form. Lu Miaoyi is also.
You know, she is sixteen years old, and this is already her second Olympia.
Yes. Wow. And lastly, Amruta Zai Mo versus Savita Shri. I hope that this one goes in our favor with Savita having the white pieces. So today Divya and Savita both have white pieces, and I think a big, big clash here, guys. Uh, France and Kazakhstan play on the third board, but all eyes on the Indian clash. Let's see if our players have already arrived, Amruta, uh, whether they are here or not. Let's Let's have a look, and your face is getting blocked by this, so we'll try to improve. But let's go to yes, there you see the Chinese players have come in. Zhu Jin'er on top board. Then we have Lu Miaoyi who is here, and we also have on the last board Zaimu. And Indian players haven't yet come. Let's look at the Open section, no one is here. It's empty chair, Samruta, which gives us the opportunity to see the thing which you are talking about, right? The the one where what are the chances of each team? What are the medal possibilities? Let's have a look at it. So you can see here that right now in the open section, Uzbekistan have a 70%, 69.8% chance of gold medal.
That is very huge. In a way, right now Uzbek is saying, guys, we are winning gold.
Because, you know, the logic is that Uzbekistan are the favorites against Armenia. So even though they could potentially lose, according to the AI, they have a huge chance today, 70% chance. But India has 14%. And Armenia 8.6.
Okay, so third is Armenia. Yeah, very interesting. I mean, USA, Netherlands, China— no one in top 3, right, over there. And Amruta, the gold, uh, gold—
like, we go to the women players. Let's first go to women and see. Again, China here with 68.3% chance.
India has 24% here, slightly higher than in the open because we have our व्हाट अबाउट द गोल्ड मेडल, at who has done well in the board medals.
First, going to the open, in board medals on board 1, we have Nodirbek Abdusattorov doing very well on board 1, 7 out of 9 he has scored. Then we have on board 2, Jordan van Foreest, who is doing very well.
In top 3, do we have Indians?
Also, we need to be quick. Pragg is the number 3, Amruta. Then we have Javokhir Sindarov here. Maybe we can have a look at this in a bit because the players seem to be arriving. Mukesh is at number one position, Amruta, on board number four with seven and half out of nine. So that is amazing. And guys, look at this what we have here already. Players have arrived. You see there, the Uzbek two team is sitting in.
But not the Indian players there yet. They're still yet to. I think they usually come at a very last moment.
Correct. And you can see Amruta happy mood here.
I mean, for the Uzbek two teams.
Oh, for sure. They have overperformed like crazy here, guys. It's just insane what they've managed to do. And wow!
We have. Uh, Kirbek, who says hello from Uzbekistan. Good luck, my Indian friends. Very sweet. Thank you.
Thank you, Kirbek. And you can see, Amruta, the games are about to begin now. The Indian players are about to arrive. Not yet. Everyone's waiting for this insane matchup here. But Amruta, let's see if we have More things here. You can see there Uzbekistan versus Armenia. Who is inaugurating?
Maybe we can.
I think it's this way only. And here we see India versus whoa, Amruta. We want to see the inauguration on Uzbekistan.
But look at this. Who just is the newest today president? I don't think he would make the move.
We have someone else making the first move here, Amruta. Okay, might be wrong because and there you see Pragnananda coming in. And he is playing Jakongir Vakidov. And this is going to be interesting because, guys, Jakongir Vakidov is actually— was board number 5 of the Uzbek team when they won the gold in 2022, if you remember. In India, first two boards for China women team are very strong. We have to be careful. I agree. I agree. I think guys today women team men team should be able to do well. I mean we shouldn't be overconfident, but they are clearly the favorites against Uzbek too. But the women's team have a huge huge thing here. So, and guys, the games are about to begin. You can see Arjun Erigaisi there in the background. Nihal Sarin also here. Gukesh is also here.
And now he's meditating. He's closed his eyes. Nihal is adjusting the pieces. Arjun is writing the score sheet. Prag is also sitting very calmly over there. We have Himang Bhai guys shooting. If you like the white sweatshirt, you can check it out on Chess Biz India shop.
And we have a super chat here. Mehmeto, let's go Mehmeto!
By the way, there is a very interesting pairing today between Yazgan and Faustino Oro. Yes. Also Ivan Chuk versus Wei. So yep, there they clap everyone in our region also. Everyone is making sure that they are closing the eyes because you know you walk and shake. Off we go. Too many people sometimes it can get overwhelming, so you just bring back your focus.
D four played here. Let's stick with one, guys. I'm confused. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Women's because I mean definitely we have a chance of gold if we beat them. So I would say that let's start from Humpty versus Zujiner.
Oh, D four, D five played Amruta here between Humpty and Zujiner. C four on the board. Let's get the board here.
I mean, this would be have been the clash in candidates as well, but you know, Hampi could not make it over there. And right now, it's it's very important. Maybe let's see with the black pieces whether she can even push because Hampi has managed with the black pieces some critical games to convert.
And she played E six Amruta here. And Amruta di, is it Uzbek one and two can't face each other? Please anyone, if you can know the answer. Well, I think maybe in the last round they have some rules that the same countries cannot play in during world, you know, world youth, world juniors, and all these championship world rapid and blitz. Maybe sometimes. But I think at the Olympiad maybe you can't help it, but I have a feeling that's not going to happen. Guys, we have contributors on Help Chess right now today. I could hear the ding ding sound there. Thank you all for contributing and supporting the talent. Sandeep Kumar, thank you so much for ₹5,000, and we had Dharma Vardhan who also contributed ₹200. Thank you so much. For your contribution. Meanwhile, Humpy has played a very surprising move, h6 here. So these little moves like a6 that Nihal played and h6 that Humpy has played becoming more and more popular. So let's go to I think we should be back. Guys, I think we should be back now. Yes, everything is good. Sometimes the internet drops here, and let's have a look at what is happening. Yes, all good, all is well, and there's something happening here. I think the arbiter wanted to kind of move the board a little bit to the side. Let's see what's happening. I think all good, all good. Yeah, I'll bring back the board view now. And there we have the chessboard here. Let's have a look at what Pragnananda has done. It started off with c4, e5, knight c3. And guys, joining us is a very, very special guest. He is—I call him भाई because brother—and he's the one and only Theo भाई here. Hello, Theo.
Thank you so much.
So good to see you. Always a pleasure. Guys, how many of you know Theo Bhai? Please do let us know in the chat. He's a very well-known personality, more so in the last few months when he started to do some incredible interviews. Uh, and Harshit Bhai will be joining us soon. He's here in the venue. He's trying— he's actually helping some teams with medicines and all.
Me, me, Theo. Leeches.
Wow, sweet guy. Thank you very much.
Vivek says Mr. Leeches.
Thank you very much for all of the lovely comments. And I really want to say thank you for having me as well. I mean, you know, Sagar, you were always very inspirational, and I, I learned a lot from how I do my own, like, interviews and stuff from, from what you've done. You're like the gold standard, so I'm just trying to emulate.
Very grateful that you think so. But Theo bhai, Today many things are happening. It seems somehow many things are happening, but it feels a little bit quiet today. I don't know why.
Because the FIDE merch store is yet to start.
Well, because today there was FIDE elections.
Exactly. I've actually just come from the FIDE elections. I was just there.
Can you tell us a bit about how was it and maybe tell our viewers because they would love to know.
Yeah, I mean, it kind of reminded me of what I would imagine, uh, like the elections of the Pope to be like, you know.
Oh yes, yes.
Kind of cardinals and bishops, you know, having their little discussions and little secrets. Um, so there was a first round of voting. Um, Burtner was eliminated in that round of voting. The freestyle tour, uh, organizer was eliminated in that, that round. So it left, uh, Rosenstein, uh, who's of course been doing a lot of tournaments himself, as well as Turlow. And after another hour or so, Turlup was elected and is now the new FIDE president. So that was actually just about maybe 20 minutes ago. So I just came straight from there to here. And yeah, I haven't actually checked the games. I was looking, doing all the political stuff yesterday. So I didn't even know apart from your screen that Uzbek too is playing India.
Uzbek too has reached really top of the table. They've played incredibly well.
In this tournament today, I mean, Vakidov had this wonderful game yesterday against Giri, and he had very promising position against MVL as well in round seven.
I think it was. Yeah. And guys, you all should know that the secret of Vakidov on his great performance he mentioned was you know working on leeches. That's true. He did say he did mention that. Yeah. He was working on it, and I think that was really, really cool.
That's amazing. And also, we love the Leeches board over here, Theo. Oh yes, yes.
I see you're using the pretty Leeches extension, so it looks very beautiful actually.
It looks very nice. I decided to use that.
I wasn't pretty enough, so I think it definitely helps the user interface.
It looks very pleasant, and yeah, it took me a second to recognize it, but I'm always very grateful that you guys do use the Lichess board and everything. What's your take on the Prague-Vakidov game?
I think a very interesting game by opening choice by Prague. He went for this, you know, slightly inferior, I can say, the move g6. Yes, because, you know, knight f6 is the main move. But with inferior, this is like, I mean, it's main line, but you get these positions because you get d4 early and dark Yeah, where you are, you are a, you're slightly low on space.
Yeah, you know, Prag has played Scotch with black, and this is like instead of the pawn on c4.
Yes, it's a Scotch structure, Amruta. That's right. And actually what white would try to do is queen maybe c2, b3, bishop b2, and have a very solid structure. So my feeling is that Pragnananda wants Something complicated so that he can push for a win against someone who is rated 250 Elo points below him almost.
But I mean, in fairness, you know, Vakidov historically has been a pretty strong player. I mean, his peak just a couple of years ago I think was around 2650, 2640, maybe something like this. So, you know, even that's maybe a bit of a gamble. And we've seen, of course, Vakidov already have 2 very promising games against, uh, 2700+ opponents. So Maybe a bit double-edged to go.
Yeah, I think I think we have to be careful on board number one. You can see there Vakidov looking very focused. He knows that if today he wins, he might get a match against Uzbek one tomorrow. Yeah, yeah. And I think it's possible, right? Are there? There might not be any rules which say two same countries cannot play.
You might get gold and silver for Uzbekistan. Yeah, yeah.
This reminds me a little bit of Chennai where India two. Played against Uzbek one in tenth round, and today in Uzbekistan we have Uzbek two playing against India one. So it's like roles have reversed, you know, four years later. Okay, let's check out what Abdi Salimov, Abdi Malik is doing against Arjun Erigaisi. By the way, we have some interesting. Yeah, let's try and look at some different cameras here.
High-tech setup.
Yeah, trying to, uh, just one Stream Deck, but we have many buttons. And here we can see, we'll try to fix these. Let's bring in the bullet cams.
For only 10 moves played in this one, like, it already feels really open, at least on the whole, like, uh, white side. With only like 10 moves down, like, a lot of activity seems to happen on this board very quickly, right?
Let's have a look at what happened. Arjun went e4, Abdusalimov played French. Knight c3 takes, takes, Knight d7 and takes. a4 played by Arjun, slightly— yeah, very curious, unconventional. Yeah, maybe against the move b6 You know, usually Black wants to play b6, Bb7 in such structures, so Arjun will push a5.
I feel like we started seeing a lot of these a and h pushes a lot more after the Google DeepMind, you know, that kind of whole engine improvement there.
Exactly.
I feel like, you know, these, these top players kind of learned from that a little bit and started just incorporating it into their own opening repertoires and occasionally just like randomly shoving an a push or an h push. Right, exactly.
Yeah, or something. And in fact, when you had given the lecture in IIT Sagar, you had also shown how the h pawn which goes to the— yes, h6.
And I think in general it has become very common now to push your rook pawns. Like for example, if I show Hampi's position, which is very interesting, she started off on move 3 itself against Zuzhina with the move h6. So, you know, this is earlier was was unthinkable is now becoming very common.
Why was it unthinkable earlier? Would you say?
Yeah, I think just like when I was playing, you someone played at six, I would be so happy. Like I would think like the guy doesn't know what he or she is doing.
Yeah, sort of thing.
And even the engines would give a good edge for white. But now the engines don't no longer give so. Clearly, it's fine. So it's I think it all has to do with how engines are developing. By the way, B six is such a provocative move here because take take there is knight B five happening. So actually, Humpy might have prepared knight D five and after knight D five E D five, I like White's position actually here.
But do you not later go bishop a six trying to exchange and then c five and your knight is over here or even just play?
Yeah, it's possible to play calmly, but I think Amruta this is very Humpey has to be very careful. I think Zhu Jin'er is an incredibly strong player. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Humpy must take back with the knight.
Let's not forget, Humpy has been the World Championship challenger. So against who you can—
So I think this should be a really interesting matchup, uh, this, uh, you know, Yuxin Song versus Divya Deshmukh. I mean, both— I mean, Yuxin here has had a fantastic tournament so far. I think she is like Something like 6.5, 7.0. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So she's had a really strong tournament. And Divya, I mean, she's historically always done very well at Olympiads. I mean, I think in Budapest she got like individual gold, right, on board prize, like 9.5 out of 11 or something. I can't remember, but it was a really dominant performance.
And here as well, Divya is actually, I think, the highest rated, highest performing player we are on board Oh really? On board two. No, she's on board three because Vaishali is board two. She's not playing, so she's on six out of eight.
Knight c three a six.
Yeah, we are seeing close Sicilian happening here. Divya Deshmukh playing something completely offbeat.
No, actually not. Divya is not playing offbeat. She's playing a stable close Sicilian. Yeah, but black went for a six in the second.
But I'm looking at like nc three.
You know, but this is close Sicilian, no? Why?
Ah, you mean close Sicilian in itself I feel is offbeat, you know? Like at this level you hardly see close Sicilians happening.
Go for the open.
Yeah, most of the people would avoid open Sicilian thinking that it's too much to prepare, so many lines. So I thought close Sicilian is like something which I face so much, unless you're MVL.
And you'll, then you'll retain it forever.
And here, by the way, bishop coming out, pawn to d4, uh, and if not, then just black will try to stop, then queen d2, f4. This is very, very well known.
It's well known, but I think if black is, you know, black will generally be happy that he has to face a closed Sicilian because open Sicilian is Quite dangerous, and you need to be very prepared for the intricacies. Whereas this one is not so dangerous.
Is there a particular plan that you would like want to go for here, Amruta? Like what would you potentially?
There are many times like after d3, white does go bishop e3, and you know it can like it's typical f4, f5 ideas and so on. But the thing is, black will keep the knight on d4. It is a very critical thing whether black goes for e6 or e5. Because if you have the d5 square, then the situation is different with bishop g5 and these kind of pins over here. But, um, yeah, uh, I think in general I always like this for black. It feels very comfortable with b5, b4 incoming.
So you would prefer to be, uh, Yuxin Song in this position?
Yeah, but I am of course trusting Divya, who has been in great form.
Well, they've both been in great form. Yeah, I mean, I think it could be a very exciting game.
This is, I think, one to look forward to. Let's have a look at Another game which is between two inform players.
Yeah, I think Lu Miao is like very promising prodigy in China.
Yeah, very good player. Meanwhile, Vantika Agrawal is five and a half out of six, so she is also playing insanely well here. And she goes for French. What's up today? French day, yeah? Everyone's playing French. Takes takes very similar to what we saw. In Arjun game, and now knight e5 with by Lu Miaoyi has thrown off Vantika a bit because you usually don't move with the same piece twice in the opening. Something you often tell beginners, right?
Don't move the same piece twice in the opening. But you know, look at these strong players just tearing up opening advice, pushing a pawns. Exactly.
Moving pieces twice in the opening. By the way, Vedan, thank you so much for your super chat. Very kind of you. And here, let's see what Vantika does. And we move on to the game between Savita Shri, who has been the find of this tournament. Seven out of seven. Complete locomotive, hasn't she?
She's just been demolishing her opponents. Like, and she's also so young as well. It's been incredible to see to see her play and her performance. Yeah. Yeah. Though she did. She was slowed down yesterday, right? She had a draw yesterday.
But look what opening we have. Another French. Yeah, wow, it's a French day, guys. Everywhere we have French defenses. And 97 castles, Knight g6, the same opening.
So in French Advance, now one thing is very clear. In the Modern French Advance, Black is delaying Queen b6, which used to be the standard.
True. And also with the Knight g6 idea, like I used to always think Knight would go to f5 to put pressure here. But this move we saw in Gukesh versus Daniel Howard Fernandez. He played the same idea, and Gukesh went bishop e three, knight d two. And let's see if Savita knows this. You can see already she is a bit unprepared here.
Yeah, and he has actually one hour.
Do you know who Zai Mo?
I don't know very much about her, to be honest. I mean, I think she's a bit older than the other players on the Chinese women's team, right? I think she is. maybe just the generation above them, maybe early 30s, late 20s. Um, but you know, the Chinese players are always kind of mysterious in a way, right? Like difficult to kind of understand, uh, find their games even sometimes. I, I was actually going to ask you, of course, because you're the specialist particularly in Indian chess, about Savita, because someone is a bit of an outsider. I mean, I recognize the name, I know she's been a very promising, uh, junior and, and girl, but, um, you know, it feels like here she's really kind of exploded on the scene. So were you guys kind of expecting this?
Yeah, I think in 2017 when Gokesh won the Under-11 National Championship, the girl who had won the Girls Under-11 was Savita.
Wow, okay.
So for, uh, it was clear that she was one of the biggest talents.
I'm impressed with your memory as well because that was 9 years ago.
Yes, but also the pictures are now resurfacing when she started doing well and she became the Under-12 World Champion as well. So it was clear she was one of the biggest talents. However, in recent times she slowed down a bit last two three years, but she's picked up this year by becoming the Asian champion. Right. She won that, and now it feels like she's back on her you know upward trajectory, and I think very quickly she will join Divya and Vaishali. That's my feeling.
Very exciting time for Indian chess.
Right. Yeah. So new people. I think just the fact that when you grow up with someone like let's say Divya and you played with her and you've beaten her and she's beaten. And then suddenly you see her winning the World Cup and reaching the candidates, and you're like, "I can do it." You're like, "I can try it," you know. So that is how like all these youngsters are inspiring each other. Yeah, yeah.
It's like standing on the shoulders of giants. Yeah.
But Theo, just you know you are here, and how has it been overall for you? This Olympiad Leeches has been you know part of so many events. I guess you were also there in Budapest. Yeah. Yeah, how has this Olympiad been?
Yeah, I mean, in terms of Olympiads, to be honest, I mean, you know, as you say, I've gone to a lot of tournaments, I've gone all over the world, just as you have, you know, going to these tournaments, following the games, players. But Olympiads, I haven't actually gone to many. I was really unfortunate to not be able to go to Chennai because I hear it was absolutely amazing.
You missed it.
Yeah, unfortunately so. So I've only been to Budapest in terms of Olympia. Um, so not much to compare this Olympiad to, but I mean, the opening ceremony was amazing. Um, the energy here is, is quite awesome, you know, all these people really interested, invested in chess. But I feel like maybe, uh, Chennai also had this energy, right? I hear lots of very positive stories about, you know, school kids coming and being able to see their idols and everything.
So Chennai was incredible, and but I think overall Eric Rosen will be happy.
His childhood one, like basically what Srinath had mentioned.
Yeah, he's going, he's getting more and more confident, he's experimenting stuff, he's not holding himself back. And here he goes Bishop d3, although I believe Bishop b5 is also a move here that Magnus liked to play. Take here, then take here and play against the good knight and not so good bishop. But okay, Bishop d3. Queen e7 threatening e5, so very quickly jumps in with the knight. Knight d7, and Gukesh goes knight df3, and he has 131 minutes on his clock with Artic Nigmato thinking.
I think this is good stuff.
Yeah, I mean, it seems like Gukesh is very prepared, right? Uh, from the clock situation, it seems this way. Do you know much about Artic? I don't really know much.
I think he came to India to play, and so he's a good player. He was an IM when he would come. Now he has become a GM, but I would say he's not a very big talent or a prodigy. He's like a stable grandmaster. I think he's in his 20s and should be, I think, a player whom Gukesh is a heavy favorite in this one with the white pieces, in my assessment.
I mean, you know, of course I don't have the same chess ability as you guys do, you're absolute talents. But I mean, you know, unfortunately, just looking at the engine, it looks like, as you say, Gukesh maybe already has the Already nice, nice start, nice start for him.
I would love to ask the chat a question, uh, that after Knight d3, if a simple move f6, Knight takes, b takes c6, guys, what is the move if Black goes e5? What is the advantage White to play? Oh, tough move. It's a tough move, but I'm believing we have 5,500 people out of which 500 are very strong.
So, and, and you know, because we have— welcome— we have so many people here who are watching this, I think it's a— yeah, we are going to call them later on to have— be part of this stream. I want to give a shout out to the incredible work that Lichess does, uh, that Theo does, and it's such a big backbone to the chess ecosystem because Even if you look at our own website chessbase.in, which we have recently, we, we have a small section there called Live that we launched recently, and it was only because of Lichess having these live games broadcast that is maintained so well that we've been able to put that in. So they are basically powering so many things out there, and so it's my humble request to all of you that you can actually support Lichess by going to lichess.org/donate. And this is not something that Theo has asked me to say. It's just coming from my own, uh, experience of seeing how Lichess functions. So if there's any mod, can put that link in the description, and anyone who has enjoyed watching, you know, um, using Lichess can support it. I think they are doing an incredible job.
Thank you, Sagar. That really means a lot. I'm actually like choking up a bit here from that.
No, but it's true. It's true. I think you guys have been quietly doing so many things that supports the chess I mean, I think it's very true for ChessBase India too.
I mean, you know, the amount of content you guys put out is legendary, and it's— yeah, it just really, really touches me to hear that from you because you're like one of my idols as well. And, um, yeah, and I mean, the broadcast team does a great job. I can't say—
Leeches OP in the chat. Yeah, everyone is going— they like it.
He's saying, Theo, what a guy, one of the best interviewers out there. Oh yeah. For us, uh, on Champs with India.
Yeah, it's very sweet of you all to say. No, thank you very much.
But I have to say, that job today is to make Theo cry here in the live stream.
But, um, yeah, I mean, the broadcast team does a great job. I can't take, you know, credit for the broadcast. It's, uh, Marcel, um, you know, Sergio, uh, so many guys in the broadcast team who are working tirelessly on this stuff, uh, who make sure that, you know, the, the live games, uh, from so many tournaments around the world are available. But asking your original question on what I should do here, I feel like you only really have two options. Like, you know, you've got to be quite scary of. It's quite scary to have this push, right? That's potentially coming. So you've either got to take or I think you've got to push the pawn back. I think those are maybe. You mean E four?
Yeah, yeah. Oh, Theo by. It's also very strong.
No, it's just my bullet instincts. You know, it's just my 2200 Lichess bullet is saying like push the pawn when is it correct?
I'm with that. Absolutely. E four is the right move, and many of you have found Harshit, Arunith, Indian, Vijay.
And the point is, if you take here, bishop takes already. This is hanging. So it's actually a very difficult position if you take here.
I think this is what Gukesh has prepared, and it I can call it a subtle trap which is set up.
I'm pretty sure that Gukesh knows these things.
So Gukesh is setting this trap on Ortic.
Exactly.
But I don't know if Ortic will know because he is. Thinking and down to one hour twelve minutes.
I did not see that far ahead. I was just like, here's the threat. We've got to do something against it. Just like, why not push this pawn? It'll probably work. Yeah. As I said, bullet brain, you know.
Well, majestic. Ah, yeah. Go on. No, go on. Majestic Mango says, I was an exchange up against Nigmatov when he came to India.
Oh, let's go. Let's go, guys. Today, Nigmatov, of course, is playing well at the Olympiad. But let's see if Gukesh can beat him. Keith Mascarenhas, who has been like an incredible support to our community, he's built the Chat Chess Moves and, uh, he's the pillar of Indian chess for 5 years and 9 months, says the folks at Lichess really are gems, not only for chess but also open source maintainers. Deeply appreciate their work.
And this is gonna make me cry by the end of this, you know, like it really is like You know, we have this chat smooth where people can answer and we can show the statistics. Here we are not using it.
Ah, yes, yes, yes. I've seen it on your stream.
Look at this, people are sending super chats. Laksh Sharma says Lichess is a big reason for the chess ecosystem being as decentralized and vibrant as it is. Big ups to Theo and the Lichess team. Much love to Team CBI as always. Thank you. Thank you very much. Yeah, yeah, very kind words, guys. Uh, Sindaro's opponent has not blundered a queen.
I just wanted to ask just quickly on Autic, what has been his score in this, uh, tournament overall?
What's he currently on? He is right now.
Yeah, yeah, okay. So yeah, he's just maybe been looking a little bit shaky, right? Yeah. How did Tom Middleburg do against him? He's a New Zealand player. I see he won.
He won. He won. That's the only loss he has had. So that's a good one. Okay guys, these are the games that are going on. We are going to go through other games as well. We're going to have some amazing people, Theo. Uh, they are standing there. They are the seconds of Indian team. Wow. Who are here. We are going to get them to join. But I hope, Theo, that you are able to join us more often in the streams. And we can, you know, chat more often. And of course, ChessBase India chat, as you can clearly see, loves the work that Lichess is doing. So huge, huge, you know, wishes to you and the entire team.
Thank you so much, and thank you for having me on this time. And yeah, it was great fun, really enjoyed it. Always a pleasure to hang out with you guys, and your chat is so lovely as well. What a lovely community you guys have.
And by the way, what a voice! Yes, this guy's voice is like well known.
But yeah, super grateful to everyone, all the lovely comments. What a lovely community you guys have created and fostered as well. So thank you very much. And now enjoy the second team.
Yes. Bye. Bye for now. See you guys. We are going to get the amazing team. नहीं नहीं भाई अपनी we'll do together. We're going to have two people who are very big reasons why the Indian team is right now fighting for the gold medal, and one of them is already here. The other is joining in, and we have Grandmaster Vaibhav Suri and Sankalp Gupta. Guys, welcome. Thank you for having us. Well, yeah, I think thank you for having us would be, you know, I should say this to you that thank you guys for working so hard. They are the seconds of Indian team in the Open, correct? And they've been working extremely hard. We had Sankalp here a few days ago, but Vaibhav is here. Everyone knows Vaibhav very well, not just second of the Indian team, but for over the Last couple of years or more than that, you've been working with Pragnananda as well. Made him into like this world class, you know. Not just world; he was world class there, but like he's now a world beater, you know. Winning tournaments after tournaments.
He's winning some tournaments. Yes. Some believe that country.
Hey, please stop. Okay. What is V8?
No, no. Let's not go there.
Oh, you can already see Vaibhav bhai being very modest there. But guys, how happy are you with Team India's performance? Are you guys like, hmm, we are okay, last Olympiad they did better? Or you are like, no, they are doing well? What are your thoughts?
Uh, last Olympiad I think was it set like very different expectations because that kind of performance happens very rarely. That was a— we won extremely convincingly.
There was one round to spare almost.
There was no doubt at any point where, you know, like everyone was in like really good shape, everyone was super sharp. Here, as you can see, there have been like a few misses. Um, uh, Gukesh, Prag, Arjun also first round And that would have, I think, set the tone for the tournament.
If that had happened, we would have been maybe cruising along.
We would have probably won.
We would have maybe won.
Yesterday we were very lucky to—
yeah, I think I remember Nihal's mistake against Uzbekistan, and I felt a little similar for Donchenko yesterday because he was like crushing, and then suddenly Knight f4 came in, uh, which was like बोल्ड फ्रॉम द ब्लू, but I think this is what happens.
Like you get some points, you lose some points, and I mean luck definitely plays a role, right? So but still to give the remaining today Uzbek to not an easy opposition at all. Like they've been the underdogs, but like playing exceptionally well.
Mostly tomorrow we play China.
So I wanted to get your thoughts on this match when you got to know that you guys are playing Uzbek to Was the mood like, "आज जीतेंगे?" Because you know the opponents are not as strong as a world-class team like USA, China, and so on. Or was it like, you know we need to take them as seriously as any other top team?
Definitely, you are taking them very seriously.
But mood was no matter who we play, we would try to win. Because after that Azim Pajandra, I think we were in a kind of must-win like. And we want to fight for the top spots. So, no matter who we play, it's like the boys are ready.
Let's go! You know, after Indian team lost to Uzbekistan, there was a rest day. And I actually got a glimpse into a bit of what they were doing because there's a padel court right outside the hotel. And everyone was playing padel together there. Very like positive.
We knew that we have five games. We can do our best, and yeah, we have to go for team walks. The team atmosphere is really positive.
Do you guys go like after this match ends at night? You go for walks or in the morning?
At night. At night.
No one's an early riser, as you probably know, and I think everyone loves their sleep a lot.
So so at night you guys hang out together, have team meeting, go on walks.
Yeah.
Maybe eat food together.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Wow, amazing, guys. All those who are joining in, we have more than almost 6,000 people here. Uh, Sankalp and Vaibhav, the seconds of Team India in the Open, you can call them trainers, seconds. They've been working like really hard to get the teams prepared and so on. Guys, any, um, game today that we, we can look at? Like, I want to Look with you the games of the Indian players, but also I want to look at the games of the Uzbekistan versus Armenia because I think there whatever happens determines our gold medal chances. That's true. Yes. Should we start with them? Yeah. Let's start with this. And by the way, this ting sound is contribution on Help Chess. Thank you, Sanjana Vipul. For your contribution, all of this goes to the young talents of Indian chess. Dhruva Bhagyantha, thank you so much for ₹1,000, and Riansh Bharatiya, thank you for your support as well. And by the way, Private 8564 sends a Super Chat. Thank you, GM Suri, for all the work you have done for India and specifically with Prag. Since you have joined his team, his results have been phenomenal. Thanks both for joining and sharing thoughts.
Well, just to clarify, I mean, Prag does work a lot, so it's his contribution that is responsible for his results a lot. I do play a support role.
थोड़ा तो मैं थोड़ा तो you have contributed, surely.
But I think his he really works insanely hard.
Like he goes to sleep after one a.m., wakes up at six a.m.
Wow! And he's ticking. That's fun.
Once in a while, yes. But I think the sometimes the situations do demand those things, and it's just like you don't want to feel like you haven't put in the effort, and that's it simply.
He's very modest, but he works extremely hard.
Right. I can see it. I see it, guys. A very hardworking seconds, and I think you cannot have a second in Team India by just. Kind of piece of paper where you say these are the timings. You have to just feel it, right? It's a, it's a job which, which is beyond the work timings. You have to, if the team needs it, you have to work. Maybe you don't even sleep.
Yeah, might happen tonight because you have a morning game tomorrow.
Oh yes, to be fair, I think we do sleep enough.
Uh, that's, that hasn't been an issue. Yes, sometimes it does get compromised here and there, but, uh, Um, I, I think the, the thing is we see like the players being so invested in what they do, in trying their best to get these results. So it's much easier for us to put in that, uh, reciprocate that with like, uh, kind of emotional investment that's required here. So I, I think it's just like we are surrounded by so many interesting players, uh, so many strong players They work exceptionally hard. What we do is probably like a fraction of what they do, but it just makes it a lot easier for us to, you know, like reciprocate that. And it makes us—at least me—and I'm sure I speak for Sankalp as well—it's much easier to put in the effort when you like people around you. So yeah, they motivate us.
They are so nice people to hang around. You know, I would, I would anyway hang around them even if I didn't have anything to do with chess. So it's very cool. By the way, guys, people in the chat have been saying, can we go to Javokhir Sindarov game? Because he's playing on board number 2 with Robert Pohanesian. And look at Sindarov going for b3 system, g3, double fianchetto, and now d4. Takes, takes. Bishop jumped in, and Robert Hovhannisyan is also very well prepared player because I think he works for Fabi, if I'm not mistaken. Or no, maybe it's Oparin, not Hovhannisyan. Oparin, not him. Take, take. And by the way, guys, there was no queen blunder because I think on the broadcast it was like this and everyone was going crazy. कि भाई क्या चल रहा है, but he took here bishop takes takes and c four.
One thing which is there like सिंधुरावण अल्पसुखदेव are exceptionally well prepared. Like even here you can see one hour thirty two. So he has just been blitzing out.
Here he spent time. Finally he took ten minutes to think here, but somehow Uh, it does feel like a very risky position for even white. Like, imagine black just does these 3 moves, you are going to get checkmated.
Yes, I guess with knight on f— knight d2, knight f3, and, um, the mating threat should be sorted. Yeah. And with this opening choice, I guess he wanted to get Robert to start to think. Early on, and it's it's actually quite interesting because every player here has a slightly unique story, right? And Robert, his rating is organization. His rating is like super low, but he just becomes a monster during Olympiads.
And I think Armenians have something in them when it comes for the Olympiads. It's just I think the love for chess in the country and so much involvement. Maybe they they get. Some special treatment. I guess the president of the country maybe like you know guys go and win that gold. Look at this good move. I think Black's position is nice.
I'm just wondering if Sindhirav intentionally spent time before playing CD five because this bishop decent does not seem like a move he would miss in his preparation.
Well, I think to be fair, it's more like he remembers a lot, but he doesn't remember everything.
True. Do they do that? Have you seen like a case where the players are doing that?
Yeah, like it's an interesting psychological trap because you want to pretend that you don't, like you're out of book, but you're just luring your opponent in your play.
And I think Sindharav is capable of doing that. He is very, very tricky on the board. I don't know whether he would do this, but What do you think about this position? Knight d2, bishop a1, queen a1.
First, to me it looks like more easier to play for white because I guess castle you could do. She took his hanging. I guess I can take on c6. So I have a knight and two pawns for the exchange, and also the king is perpetually exposed. So black's king is weak, my king is safe, the knight can jump.
Can black not take the c6 pawn?
Rook c8, queen h6.
So rook c8, I have rook c1 or queen e5. Two moves here. Which one builds it? Queen c3, I guess you come rook d8, rook d6. Not easy. Expecting this to somehow end in a draw.
Yeah.
But here I have knight f3, rook d6, knight e5. I mean, he immediately blitzes out knight d two.
Yeah, maybe he was just. Oh, it's interesting. I think the engine says it's easy to play for both sides. I felt somehow through your variation, like black gets their pieces. White also has some plans. But maybe do you think Sindarov is prepared? Like even the intricacies of this position he might know.
I think at some point these players figure things out over the board also because they have like really good understanding. But this level of detail is maybe a little too much. But I would be very surprised.
But I do think Sandro is still in his prep with Neti too, at least for now.
Yeah. Okay guys, let's go to another game. And while we are going to the Abdusattorov versus This game. I have one question to both of you. Is there something that you can reveal to the chat which they may not know about the team as the seconds? कुछ ऐसा इंटरेस्टिंग, you know, ऐसे in Hikaru's language, it's like spilling some tea.
Oh, we have plenty of tea. I'm just not sure how much tea we can reveal.
Yeah, something that can be revealed without You going back to the room and then all hell breaking loose, you know.
Think Prabhu, I should take this one. He's the more senior, more mature person.
Very good way to avoid the question.
I'm just a young fool.
We'll come back to this.
You'll come back. Okay, my boy. Like my joby team, more dangerous. I can't reveal it. Publicly, but yeah, yeah. I mean, in general, I I I surely know. I'm pretty sure. I think one of the things which I think what people fail to recognize is that while they are geniuses on the board, they are just people in normal life. So they also feel upset after a loss or feel happy after a win. Sometimes they feel like. you know, not playing. They have their fears, they have their things. So I think I just love the human side of them off the board and the superhuman side of them on the board.
It's not like a spicy tea, but I can say this, that Arjun, he loves cashews. Like, oh, here in our hotel we got some cashews on the first day and he has been loving them so much that he Asks for the refill every day. Wow!
I I have heard that Arjun's fitness routine is insane. Yeah. His his body fat percentage is almost at 15% now, guys. He wants to get it to 10%. He is inspired by his dad actually, who is super fit. So let's see if he reaches there. So by the way, Abdusattar of Nodirbek today plays the very uh, inspired, I might say, Scandinavian. So it seems like Sindarov going b3, Nodirbek going d5, they are like saying to the Armenian teams, I'm— we are not taking this very seriously, you know, we'll play something.
Uh, no, the way they're spending time clearly shows that they have taken this seriously. But, uh, you're right, it's, it's far— it's very unusual to see this, especially when Uh, team like Uzbekistan is already ahead on the ranking table, you expect them to be slightly more solid, slightly more stable, and not take unnecessary risks. But I think all of these guys, especially them being young, are so motivated to fight every single game, every single chance that they get. So, um, it's quite interesting to see this.
Also, another thing is that the Armenian team is extremely solid. Especially with the white pieces. So this would be a way to get them out of the comfort zone. Like, you can see the way white spent his time. He was out of book pretty early.
Correct.
And yeah, like, I see the engine is giving slight better for black already.
I mean, that's crazy.
And I remember Arjun himself played Scandinavian in the last Olympiad in the last round when he was playing Slovenia, I think, right? He was playing Jan Soubeli. So this is just a way to get your opponent out of the comfort zone. And yeah, like he came very well prepared here. So I think they do take them seriously and they want to keep chances even with the black pieces. You know, he could play something very solid and make a draw, but he wants to keep chances, right?
Yeah. Okay, let's go to the 3rd board here. This is between Shant and Yakubov. I would say Maybe Yakuba is slightly stronger, but Shant also performing well recently. Did beat Magnus as well at World Rapid Team Championship. And C three, D four. Very standard position. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
I mean, slightly more pleasant to play for white, but yeah, black is quite solid.
And then going to the the guy who I call the Mr. Olympiad, Gabriel Sergisian taking. I think this is maybe I was thinking this is the board where Armenia might feel like oh this is our chance to strike. But I guess what the position they have reached is very solid. I think Sergisian redeemed himself yesterday.
Like he lost to For black, uh, but you mean by knight e5, then rook e3, rook h3, stuff like that?
No, I think you delay, uh, exchanging pieces. You play something like a4 here, uh, I guess at some point you play h4 and you try to combine, I think, play on both queenside and kingside. Because, uh, if you trade too many pieces, uh, black gets knight to d6. Black will be too solid to, and it will be very hard to like break through. So at some point you will have to exchange the knights, but I think you delay it. And the small time advantage that Madamino has, he probably wants to ensure that this stays. Madamino is like a giant killer.
Yeah, like in the horses he was on fire.
Yeah, I think Madamino just shows that when you work Very intensely as a second. Sometimes your own chess starts to improve.
Yeah, and I would like to think that too.
Okay, by the way, people are saying, can we quickly check what's happening with Divya? We've covered the Uzbekistan versus Armenia match. Very even, would you say?
Uh, pretty much. I would say Uzbekistan has a bit of an edge right now. Yeah, but because of the Nodirbek And Sundarov board.
I think so.
Yeah, we I would say we are personally rooting for the Armenians.
But yeah, let's see how it goes. Yeah, if it is two-two, there is still a chance. Even if there if Armenia beats Uzbekistan, that would be huge because then it's like India will face Armenia tomorrow and have their fate in their own hands. Looks difficult right now. Uzbek team has come super well prepared and they are like, "वह हम छोड़ेंगे नहीं ये gold को." Let's see what happens. There is a point where people are saying Divya Deshmukh seems to have gone wrong. The women team have kind of their future, or you can say their thing in their own hand, because China is on 17 match points.
Yes, we are on 15, and if we beat them, I think they overtake them under the tiebreaks as well.
Exactly, better tiebreaks. But Divya makes a very weird decision here. She decides to take with the bishop.
So typically, I thought in this structure, white goes queen d two, knight d one, and knight c one, and then kicks it with c three. Yes, that is more common. Yeah, bishop is a surprising decision.
I think Divya just kind of, and you can see her. She's kind of put her head on on the chair, and she's.
Thinking. I'm sorry, how much time did she spend for this? She took eleven minutes.
She took here and went knight b one. You know some points I feel like Divya makes deliberately some inaccurate moves. Maybe she feels like this may not be the best, but let's play it. Let's see what happens. Or you you feel like this is a very bad move.
This does feel like a strategic mistake because. Because I don't think without the dark square bishop you will have any kingside potential attack. And, um, like, Black does have more space now. Black's play is quite simple. You want to castle, b5, Bishop b7, like, develop your pieces. So not particularly sure how would you develop your play here as well, because f4— whenever you go f4, I think Black just plays f5 herself. Yeah, feels like more pleasant for Black for sure.
It's a good point. Anything you would like to add?
Yeah, I think probably seemed like she went wrong because, uh, yeah, Shankar was, I think, right. It's more than the objective evaluation. I feel blacks are fairly easy, which I think really determines like also the time situation. I, I can understand why Divya played this opening, let's say, because Song from the little love scene, uh, the little games I've seen her play, she's exceptionally well prepared. So it makes sense for Divya to go into slightly offbeat openings and stuff. But yeah, I think things have gone a little wrong for her, but it can go either way.
Like, shout out to the women's second, Arjun Kalyan.
Oh yes, guys.
If this is something that they were expecting, not expecting. So quickly heading to Pragnananda, who is playing here against Jakongir Vakidov. And Prag, did he get the position that he was hoping for here?
Yes.
Can you tell us still where was the preparation?
Sure. I think.
I think it was all well known.
Yeah, yeah, this is the most played, uh, stuff. d5, b3. Uh, well, I remember checking something till here. The engine gives like 0.1, but then at a small— at a— when you check it with like a slightly stronger one, it does go down and It is a relatively even position, but I think—
With some imbalance.
Yeah, it's a game. So, um, it's— yeah, we, uh, when I was looking at this, I think we were— I was relatively okay with this because it's a game and that's what we wanted. And actually, a small shout out to Waqeed also because yesterday he played a really good game against Anish, who is, uh, It's very hard to beat Anish. As someone who's like prepared against him a lot in the recent year, beating him and the way he did was incredible. So he's, he's in form here, and he was also part of Ding's team, I think.
Yes, so also has been, I think, second to Sindarov, because I remember when GCL happened in 2023 He was there with his second.
So he was the coach of Sindarov for a very long time, right? Right. Sindarovs, Yakubovs, correct? Yeah. And he's from Samarkand.
Ah, he lives in Samarkand. I see his dad often walking here, Tahir Wakidov, also a grandmaster. Oh yeah, he's very, very well known. He's played in India before, uh, so I've seen him. Maybe someday we could get him in, uh, And by the way, when you as seconds, when you guys prepare and an engine you look at, it's not only about those numbers. You also have to know your players. You want— you need to know that, oh, this position maybe Prag will like, maybe Gukesh may not like, maybe Arjun may not like, and stuff like that.
Also, what we are trying to achieve against the opponent, like certain players have certain styles. So, you want to steer the game in the direction which is comfortable for our players and uncomfortable for our opponents.
I think this is where the human touch comes in, right? Like, of course, the engine can show the best moves. Now the engines have become powerful, but maybe in this position, whether to go for a Queen b8, some plan here, or f5— I'm just giving an example— will depend upon the player and his strengths. For sure, for sure.
It's also like a huge skill to choose variation that you keep chances where you— I think Magnus is exceptionally well at this. Like, he pushes really well, but he still maintains the control and doesn't over-push. Like, right, like lots of players, they over-push and they end up losing, but he has that sense of control. So that is where, I mean, you can say 2750s are better than 2650s.
They really squeeze out everything they can. Amazing. Okay, so you you guys happy with what Prag has? I I think you know Viper was looking at the position so intently. He was thinking about it all the while we were talking.
Yeah, I was trying to figure like what could Black do here because as you can see, I think there are multiple moves which are equal at least according to the engine.
Also, Prag has taken 18 minutes here, which is.
Which is quite interesting because, um, I think it— if you think about it from a slightly zoomed out perspective, it's, it's like how people are taking these decisions. And as Shankar said, you take into account like their preferences, what they like, what they dislike. And, uh, very often what they— what we see on the board are the decisions that happen, but there are— there's also like this huge data that we can take from decisions that don't happen. And then that gives you— that gives us a bigger insight into, you know, how people are making these decisions. Because then it boils down to that. So anyway, that's what I was trying to figure out, like how exactly to like place pieces here to create some chances and things like that.
Do you guys ever go on like this psychological things with the players? Like, you know, Come on, guys, you can do it. ऐसा यार you are just meant to more on chess and figure out the psychology on your own. Like, do you guys also motivate them?
Yeah, like I think that is also really important. The headspace a player is in. So if you see a player is slightly down, you try to cheer them up and you keep them calm and objective. So I think that definitely plays. I think we can expand on this one because he is with Plug the whole year, so he knows Plug a lot better.
Uh, surely like the psychological part does play a role, uh, but most of these guys are super motivated and ambitious. So, uh, at some point, yes, when let's say Nihal had these 2 losses, right, uh, you sometimes do feel that, uh, it was because of me that the team lost. And, uh, from an outsider's perspective, yes, that may be true. But, uh, I think the way things actually happen in the team is we sort of, uh, they have this understanding that they win as a team and they lose as a team because you can't— like, there's no like blame games or anything. Everyone's just trying to uplift, uh, uh, each other because at the end of the day, it's a collaborative effort. If you win a medal, it's not going to be because of one single player. If we don't, uh, get a medal, it's definitely not going to be because of one player. So, um, I think these things all of us understand very well. So we're just trying to make sure that everyone stays in the best possible headspace, be it through padel, for example, or just like going on walks, a way to unwind, um, something like that.
या, because he had this very painful loss against शत्रु सत्याग्रहों में 2022 ओलंपिया, and he said like, you know, I know exactly what you are going through. Feel like, yeah. Yeah. I've gone through that, and Mukesh was one who said this, you know, like, if you would have won, you wouldn't have said कि team is winning because of me. Yeah. So like, you should not feel like the team is losing because of you, and Mukesh really cheered. Oh, that's a very nice. Yeah, yeah. Like, you can really learn from Mukesh.
And similarly, like, when he drew, uh, that game where he had like a huge advantage, these things happen. So it's not like, you know, anyone is taking these things seriously. And, uh, I mean, we are taking these seriously because they impact the medal chances, but it's how the game works.
You have to take things in a little slightly lighter vein if you want to do well.
Yes.
While you know that it's very serious.
Correct. Yes, because You have like more games to play. You want to make sure that yeah, so it's like you need a quick turnaround time and a quick reset time. You obviously feel horrible. I'm sure Nihal felt awful. Everyone else did, but it's like okay, time to move on.
Yeah, so there is this I think my different move on.
See, हर्षित भाई has very quick reset time. No, in general I've seen him. Anything happens to him, he moves on quickly. Like, you know, his phone got lost, he moved on. Someone comes and tells him couple of things, he gets hurt, but he moves on, right?
Like, what happened to your nose? Like the other day I saw some bandage.
Ah, it's gone.
No, you can see a bit here. But how did you get hurt? Does the chat know?
Yes, they know. They know 2 stories. They are still confused which is the right one, not right one. yeah it's a very there's no football field here exactly exactly it's a paddle court but I don't know guys मैं क्या बोलता हूँ गेम्स देखते हैं भाई बहुत टाइम से हमने गेम्स नहीं देखे let's go to the second game अर्जुन vs अब्दी सालिमो and whoa okay Is this something that was part of the prep here? So oh, boom! Whoa! Oh my God! Bye, एक्या बूढ़ा अजूबाई was like, oh the seconds are here. Let me just treat them to something really nice.
So we were expecting French as the main was the main expectation. He played this against Jordan yesterday. I think this Afo is Ajoo's creation. Yeah, I've seen this. So a4, a6, and now g3. And the move c5, which is very tempting, is actually very bad with the inclusion of a4, a6. So now Bishop g2, cd4, and this endgame is excellent for white. So, uh, so I guess his opponent also knew it. He plays b6. He's already spending 5 minutes, so he's slightly out of book. Castle, Bishop d6, c4. A five c five and I think this last move after takes takes I guess around here Aditya came out of book he spent like sorry spent ten minutes for this and wow before is really nice yeah like it's a very flashy move let's try to explain yeah queen before on the board by the way so the point is c five of course loses a piece c before loses the piece from c five He played Queen b4. Yeah, the thing with the move b— I mean, if— what's the point? Because if there is nothing concrete, let's say Bishop a3, Queen b6, Queen b6 loses to dc5, Bishop c5, Rook b1. Yes, correct. So if you go here, boom, bam, and here, and then you take here, and then— or the other move order, and you win a piece. So after Bishop a3 You have to take because this looks very unlikely because you lose this with a tempi.
Yes, actually that isn't so bad because you go back to c7 and then I don't think that looks too bad for black.
Uh-huh.
Guys, we have a small update thanks to our director sahab that Uzbek 1 and 2 pairing is impossible. No, it is possible. It's possible, it's possible.
I checked with ChatGPT Pro.
Yesterday. It's very good, good.
Yeah yeah. I also saw this tweet by Mike Clean. This was I think confirmed in the technical meeting.
Yeah.
So bishop a three queen takes c four and maybe are you getting something here or?
I mean I was curious dc five bishop c five rook c one looks winning to me. Yeah. Look, it looked winning to me, but oh, I missed this. So I think the position like this might— this is great for black. Queen sacrifice. Yeah, black is extremely solid is not the word, but the passed pawn is there. He has enough material for the queen.
I think if anyone can play black, yeah.
So after queen takes b4, actually we need to still like Arjun still needs to find a way to keep the game going.
Take, take and knight d2 or knight e5 prepared, right?
Yeah, because you hit the queen and you hit the bishop on b7.
So queen d3 is the only move. Yeah, but that's why I think queen a5, queen c7 feels a little more likely to.
Yeah, because this feels like Black is losing some material here, right?
Yeah. What is happening to bishop takes c5?
Oh, king g2 and queen d5.
Yes. Oh wow! King g2, queen d5. And if bishop f8, there's bishop f1. And if you take on f8 here, then black just takes here and black is just doing really well. So if black doesn't know this, this bishop a3, queen c4, dc5, knight d2 looks scary. Yeah, but if he knows this, I don't know if white can do something.
I know मतलब he may not he may not be prepared. He has to calculate.
But just look at just look at this how fast after b four he took on b four because there is no other move I think. Yeah, that is a good point.
Yeah, I think with fifty seven minutes he must be out of his.
But he made this move in eight seconds.
He was expecting.
Yeah, maybe he was expecting it.
He didn't want to show that I am, you know, scared.
And if Queen a5, Bishop c5, Queen c7, take, take.
This might be possible though.
We're trying to play with these 2 central pawns. Yeah, yeah.
Okay guys, let's move on to the next game. Nihal, should we say that Arjun has good possibilities here?
Yeah, there are some chances for black to go around.
Yeah, and what about Suyaro? Please tell our viewers a bit about Nihal's opponent because I think he is someone who is very good at online chess as well, if I'm not mistaken. Or he's very, very young and very talented boy from Uzbekistan.
I think he won some event in Grenka, like or he got a prize.
No, he was playing the last round with Ashwat, right? That was him, and then Ashwat beat him to make his GM.
Ah, Mukhamadz. So yes, he's a very good player actually. He's actually 2009 born, so he's like he's just sixteen or seventeen.
He's like this Ilam Party age. And did you guys check out the opening?
No, not yet. So it was the Caro-Kann.
So I can say this that I asked Sethu if he was you guys were expecting this.
So yeah, Sethu Daman is helping Nihal here. He's on ground here. And he said they were expecting mainly advance, and they were I think not expecting this two knights variation. Actually, Harshit, you used to play this a lot. Yeah, yeah, I played this a lot. But this queen d three is a very surprising move to me. Once I spent five minutes on. So generally with white, you either play we I you either play bishop d three and give up a pawn. This is a line. Or in this position, you play something like bishop e two. And when white takes to go queen e three, and then you can just capture the pawn next. But he played queen d three here, bishop b four, knight e four, bishop e two, queen a five.
Bishop d two.
No, he actually played castle here, which is the best move. I don't think you can generally give up the dark squared bishop because c five.
Knight c6.
And this pawn structure will get, uh, compromised, especially when you cannot play c3. So chop chop, Rook b1. I guess both players had an idea about this, right? Because I feel like for White to give up a pawn and for Black to capture it, both decisions are very hard without knowing it. Maybe they're familiar with the idea, trying to figure out When and where it?
Why didn't it? Ah, if we knight c takes d four, then c takes d three, then knight c three.
Yeah, the second bishop. Correct. And this otherwise white would have taken. So bishop takes b five takes takes a four and castle. Ah. And this is the live position. So the first question I would ask is why can't I just flip board? Yeah. That's why.
Takes takes takes.
I guess.
So you try to.
There are two ideas.
So let's say नाइट सी सिक्स हिटिंग this pawn.
Do I come bishop e three or do I come c three?
Maybe c three and bishop a three.
Because if I get knight c four and a five, you can never do anything right to me. This can get extremely unpleasant for because with the outside pass pawn. So castles, and I guess we can say that Nihal in some ways has had a good opening where he cannot get worse. I mean, at least not easily, and he can maybe even try. Nice.
Yeah. Good, good opening for black. Let's look at Bukesh. Oh wow! Ah, F6. Basically, we saw it was the London system.
We saw this game a bit, and and I would say that I think Nigmatov is definitely the weak link in their team. Uh, I he is around the same age as me. I have played him a few times. I have also had a good result, and generally, I don't think he's super active. Yeah, also like. Yesterday I was checking the top three boards, like Jahangir had 2700 performance, second board had 2660, third board also had 2600 performance. The three are gaining like 15 rating almost, and the board four and five are kind of struggling a bit. So yeah, and yeah, I like that you know Arjun played London against Adams Wiki.
Wiki is playing today against Stigmata, and I think what is oh. Like part of some kind of a strategy to play London, because usually I've seen Gukesh playing main lines.
Yeah, I cannot comment on this, but I think you know you kind of like for example.
I love it when they say this. Actually, I want to ask more questions like this. Guys, do do any of the players have a girlfriend? Do you have a girlfriend? I cannot comment on this. They can comment on their story.
Maybe let's go to the next. Why, bro? Actually, how was the Bermuda party for you? You should ask my bro.
My bro didn't come. No, I didn't go.
You already. You didn't need to come.
He didn't need to come.
Yeah. Oh! Can I ask something that you really get annoyed by?
Yeah. I think they throw me out of the room. Like too badi so stream But do the seconds, like, do all of you work together or each second work separately?
Because Samkalt brought this up. No, we generally, I mean, everyone, I think all of us have like some idea here and there. So it's mainly like a collaborative effort, I would say. Players are really well prepared themselves, but like me, Sankalp, Srinath, we do have like a dialogue running of sorts if we run into some problems. So we do help each other as well.
Guys, what a team it is with Sankalp, with sorry, with Sankalp, with Vaibhav, with Srinath, with these top players, with also the women's team. As we saw through the games here, feeling positive about India's chances today? Yes, I think so.
It looks good so far. Optimistic, but hoping for a four zero.
Oh wow!
Four zero would really help our tiebreaks, right? Yeah.
So this is what happened.
Yeah, this is what happened in Arjun's four. Yeah, he said Queen. Right. Yeah.
I have a predict I guys, guys, we studied a lot of Abhisalimos games yesterday.
Only if I could predict lottery number.
By the way, we have a super chat. What separates a top GM from other GMs and seconds? What made you choose this path in chess? He has asked एक ही इसमें बहुत सारे सवाल, but I think we'll stop here. Like what made you guys choose this? Because you guys already are such strong players, you could have continued on your path of playing chess and so on.
Uh, I really like the analytical part of chess a lot more than, uh, actual playing part, because— and I thought that's where my real skill lies, uh, and it fits a little better to what I could contribute, uh, most in. So I thought this, uh, made a little more sense, uh, although I do love playing, um, occasionally. But yeah, I thought this suited my skills a little bit.
So for me, like, I mean, ideally I would like to play, but I mean, I'm not strong enough to be a player for the team. I want to contribute in some way.
I can Do you think do you think this will become a main role in your life of being a second now that you have so much experience, or you think it's only during the Olympics you want to do this?
I think it will be mainly during the Olympics. We'll see.
Sankalp also streams by the way. So guys, you can check Sankalp Gupta's YouTube channel. It's called Sankalp Chess. Or yeah, like actually I post some clips on Instagram.
At sankalp.chess.
At sankalp.chess, guys, you can follow him. He he does very good content. Very serious actually. No, while I saw few of his clips, he would play like very seriously. While Nitish Belurkar King NB is very dangerous. He speaks a lot.
Garu my boy. So he's amazing.
Okay guys, I think, uh, maybe we will look through the other games, but thank you so much for joining in, for showing us some of the analysis, and also for your incredible work that you guys are doing. I hope that India goes back with a gold medal, but, uh, let's see. Yeah, very important day today.
Tomorrow also. So yeah, yeah, thank you for having us here.
Thank you, guys.
See you, guys.
That was Sankalp Gupta and Vaibhav Suri, two of India's amazing seconds and grandmasters who have worked incredibly hard here. And now we have Harshit Pai here. Let's go, Amruta!
Hello! Game show, Amruta!
Oh yes, guys all those who are not aware, Timur Turlu is the new FIDE president. I hope I am announcing that right. Yeah, Arshid bhai. Yeah. Did you meet him? Did you congratulate him?
No, I didn't.
No, he went to the studio of Turlu over there, but he did not meet.
Which studio?
I'm just making sure that I spy on Harshit bhai, so that I was very worried if he gets punched for the second time.
Like Harshit Rajan. Wow! Amruta protecting Harshit—that's something. Guys, आज का सबसे बड़ा news until now has been that Divya Deshmukh is in a very difficult position.
Really?
Yeah, and I mean very would be a bit too much, but she was white and she already landed in a difficult situation, which is a bit surprising. But let's see if her situation has improved. Maybe you know it's about there's something about Divya the way she plays she gets back.
By the way, Jack says back to three idiots. Hello, hello.
So let's take a look very quickly at Divya's game. Um, she started— did you check out the opening? She started off with the Closed Sicilian, went d3.
Oh, h3. What is h3?
Yeah, I don't understand it. Knight d4, and she took on d4 with the bishop. Generally, you don't want to give up this dark-squared bishop so easily. You want to trade it for this bishop, but she decides to give it up. And actually, here black has gotten a very, very decent position.
I'm extremely surprised to give up the bishop, right? Sometimes they even give it, but then the double pawn. Then there is something very precise what is happening, like c three आता है या pawn.
You can knight b five exactly. But a six पे pawn है, so you just don't have this.
That's why maybe when she played h three. Like we have been talking about engine preparations today, and I think Theo is also there. Hook on moves. H3 could be her preparation. How long did she think on seventh move?
She actually thought for no. She was not so well prepared. She thought for eight minutes here. Okay.
So H3 she played, and then she went for bishop takes D4 is something yeah very very not something I like.
Yeah, I think that was a bad decision by her. Bishop to E6. And Divya is slightly worse, guys. It's not that she's in trouble, but she's slightly worse for sure here, because if Black wants to equalize, she can always just play d5 and Black can just get easy equality.
So right now, if Divya wants to stop d5 and if she goes Knight d5, it's a very committed decision to double the pawns.
Exactly. Uh, you can take with the bishop, but you can even take with the knight, keeping our bishop pair. And I think this would be good for black. So Divya is in small trouble. Let's quickly take a look at the other boards as well. Going to Hampi's board. Okay, guys, can you hear us now?
We are back, we are back. All good, all good. Audio back. Maybe I don't know.
But the thing with दिव्या is, I wouldn't say trouble but she's like she has fought back.
She is fighting back actually. Her position is improving.
Okay D four is good because D four is good actually. She's got an open position in general. And if you take over here, the knight jumps to d4, and suddenly white is super happy because what about this bishop? Where is it going? The bishop does not have a good spot over here. And while Divya will have a target to attack, yes, the bishop is nice, but even my pieces are well placed. So for Divya, after d4, black should not take on d4. But black would have to also always worry about the tension in the center and d5 ideas. So maybe Divya is doing actually very fine.
Yeah, because once if ed4 knight takes d4, she is going to probably get the bishop on e6. The pawn on d6 will be weak. So I do think that Divya is fighting back.
Absolutely.

Guys and the community, you are the guys who are making this community because that's one thing which everyone says anywhere. You guys have such a wonderful community, and that means it's you guys. Thank you. Amazing.
Okay. Such a nice trophy.
But yeah, trophy बहुत beautiful है. It does feel like world champion बनने के बाद ऐसे beautiful By the way, Vantika is playing quite well.
She's playing with black against Liu Mao Liu Maiyui Miaoyi Miaoyi and Vantika is already equalized with black.
Vantika will need to be doing the job of Jerry.
Do you know Jerry?
भाई आपका हेलो बढ़ रहा है मेरा मियाओ ही मतलब कैट तो जेरी बनना पड़ेगा मियाओ मियाओ तो जेरी always wins पता नहीं मुझे क्यों समझा पर ये पर समझ गया nice हंसू दो guys अमृता is not even giving me the mouse now he's holding the mouse Tom and Jerry को पकड़ लिया है so night of six इतना गर्म हो रहा है तूने blazer क्यों Yeah guys, I should remove the blazer because I've worn a chest shirt here which you can actually get from the link in the description. Six pack नहीं है उसके लिए तो इसके लिए नहीं family but that smoothie that you got red color that was really nice where to find it by I went there there were three shops I couldn't figure which one will give it was the first one but It's not on the menu.
It's not on the menu. You have to say.
I will give you your name. You know what, guys? I've already said this. We go outside. There are a lot of taxi drivers waiting, and we just say Raja Raja taxi, and they are like yes yes come come. Here we go Raja smoothie Raja smoothie.
But yesterday that guy driver asked, but yes but where is Raja? Okay focus on chess.
Okay guys sorry very sorry. Queen g5 check. Do you think that after king b1 she wants a long castle?
She does. And I don't like the white bishop on f1 and queen on e2. They're just blocking each other. They're in the path of each other. So I do think Vantika has a nice position from the Opening, right?
And by the way, guys, today do we already have the neuro focus move of the day? Not yet. Do you think Arjun's B four qualifies for that or not much? No, not yet. We'll get the moment.
The right time is yet to come.
Right now is important that you stay focused, sir. That is very important.
Yeah, let's stay focused, guys, because we need the energy today with neuro. And Amrita, you are not eating neuro today?
I have a timing around five thirty.
By Harshit bhai ne Boulevard Bakery
It's a coffee with almond milk. It's very good.
Wow! Almond milk. And now he has brought oh avocado toast.
Harshit bhai, there is also soup. He is here to hear people say I'm watching, I'm having coffee. Off pawn and watching the finals. So today I today is like semi-finals, right? That's very nice. So let's go, Sagar. We have to quickly change.
Oh man!
I love our position.
Yeah, but like I also I'm a bit scared that black has these cluster of pieces on the kingside. The knight on f5, the knight on g6 putting pressure on the pawn on d4.
But after Savita's last move was a5, my first question is what if a6?
Yes. Yeah, that's that's the best question because now after the knight goes back, I guess the square on B six becomes a bit weak and C five also.
So I love the position. I mean, I find it decent for white, but if I break, pay ध्यान देना है, which is impossible for now.
People are like just call Samay Bhai and India will win.
Right moment पे बुलाएंगे उनको but what was amazing was समय donated one lakh rupees to help yesterday that was huge it was a very nice gesture by समय yeah he is the one who is so good at such spontaneous decisions in life correct but so guys as a summary हम पे equal हम पे equal दिव्या दिव्या इसे equal consider Teeny tiny bit worse. No, no, not, not much.
One, one equal. And as— and guys, about Savitha's game, like, the position is good, but did you look at the clock? Generally Savitha is always playing very quickly. This time, however, she only has 37 minutes on her clock.
Is she coming under pressure? Let's have a look here. She's not on the board, she's just pushed her pawn. She's feeling a bit relaxed, I believe, with this position. Maybe the tension was there, it has reduced. So I don't know, maybe this game also is around equal. So the match is right now very evenly poised. If there is a small favorite here, I would say it's China because on the Dibya board slightly worse, whereas India doesn't have an edge on any board, right? But we'll see how this game develops.
And this is a big match for us guys because China is leading. This is basically like the, you know, Finale before the finale. That I can say that because if we win this, that really helps our chances to to get to fight for a gold.
And guys, it's time for us to go to the open section. Open section now, and let's head over to the game of Praghu. And there we see Pragnananda here.
Wow, okay, wait, this is super exciting. Can we have a look at the last?
You know what I have felt about Jacongir is that he is so confident. He is actually taking on Prag. He is not like saying, oh, I will defend against Pragnananda. He is coming there to beat him. Yeah, g four, queen c six, e four, and now queen exchange.
He rejects.
No, Amruta. वाकिदोव, guys, let's not get confused by his rating. He is actually a very strong player, having a rating performance of 2700 plus, defeating Anish yesterday, has a 30-minute advantage on the clock. Maybe Prague holding is not a bad score here with black.
Yeah, but maybe too soon, right?
I have a few questions. Okay, firstly, you have three pawns. All of them are saying, "You know, in I am looking at G five. I'm looking at F five. The knight is looking at D five." Is the move like Knight D five, which I believe would be very good for black because it kind of simplifies and changes Bishop B two, Queen B two, Knight D five, E D, E D के बाद P A B T हो जाएगा but maybe Queen D seven. I think just to show that And black is very happy with such simplification. Knight is not moving. If I go f5, then I still love it for black because this is the e5 and d4 squares are under your control. No, but I think the engine is still saying that it's okay because g5 next move is a possibility.
They have attacking chances.
Yeah, so I think how I would like to summarize this is that. It's it's a game where Vakidov needs to make a choice whether he wants to go all in or play conservatively because he can go a move like f five and g five, but that of course gives black chances. But he can also play a move like e five, just trading the queens and going towards equality.
Okay, if you go e five, the pawn is not becoming weak. Yeah, like if I take here, the c five and knight. But double pawn, I can be maybe happy to give away.
Yeah, yeah, but I feel like this is, uh, steering towards equality now.
Yeah, no, I'll first take the knight. Knight e5, bishop takes e5.
Ah, you will give your bishop?
Yeah, bishop e5, knight c5, and, uh, equality.
I'm not very sure if it would matter if the king is weak or not, by the way.
So, Amruta, I will say if this is so in general, it's not so important for us to necessarily go for 4-0. I think it's also important for us to make sure we are going to win this match because this Uzbeki 2 team can be tricky. You know, that's what the Dutch team tried to do yesterday. Anish played the Dutch opening with black. Yeah, it backfired. Jordan was the only one who drew his game.
No, he won, I think. No, Jordan drew.
He drew. So it was three and half half yesterday. And the only board which I'm very confident about is Gukesh's board. Gukesh is in a very good situation.
What is happening right now?
By Gukesh, after winning yesterday, is again, I think, going to do the magic. And in fact, he is getting closer to getting a medal. Let's see.
Yeah, we have a nice thing that has been built by Vivek Bhai. Rushikesh Kadam says, congratulations guys on winning Daniel Naroditsky Best Creator Award. Your hard work pays off. You know, our hard work was anyway paying off. In ways where which was even before the award. The award is of course a cherry on the top, but we've been enjoying this journey a lot. Like you can see Harshit bhai is already enjoying the journey with avocado toast. Egg. Okay. The egg. Sorry. I will have it. I'll have something else. I need to bring a spoon.
Oh yeah you can take.
Give a fork to you. So knight e5, f6, knight takes c6, b takes c6, castles, takes, and this move c4 came as a bit of a surprise from, uh, Nigmatov because now bishop e2 played here, and after e5, Gukesh struck back in the position with b3.
And the reason why it has an advantage is because black's pawns on c six and d five are not complemented with dark considerably better.
Really? Let's go. Oh my god!
Let's go, Nihal! In the last two, you know he began the tournament with a bang, and I think if he is able to do that towards the end of it, would be.
Take me to us slowly.
Slowly, slowly.
Hold it, hold it.
So just trying to see the last move. Rook c8 was fine, bishop d6 was fine, knight d7. But suddenly Suyaro plays c4. And now let's put our heads here without seeing the engine. What would you play? Because I think the first thought that goes to my mind is, why can't I take Either of the pawns, A4 or C4.
Rook B7, I think, is the problem. But then, wherever your knight goes to B6, A5 or C5. Which pawn are you taking? First question, guys. Will you take C4 or B takes A4? If you want to start calculation, I would prefer.
Hmm. I don't know. I want to take on C4. Try one of them, but it's not that great because Rook c1, Knight b6, a5, Knight d5, and Rook takes c4, and black— white is back.
So then if you take b takes a4, that would, that would also be a mistake, I believe, because of Rook b7. I'm liking Knight b6, c5, Knight d5, d5, Knight d5, but maybe you can build up Something.
Yeah, a1. Rook a1 also not good because this is hanging here.
c1 is forced. What else?
Yeah, but rook c1 looks bit passive, but maybe it's playable.
You have to defend this c4 pawn and you can't play c5. So b takes a4 is another. He's also not the best. Advantage. What is the move Nihal has To find to get the advantage. My next question will go to C five. Tough move, yeah? C five or I guess C four.
The point is A five, I think.
Yeah, just Rook C one, Knight B six, A five, Knight D five, Rook C four.
Or if not B four, A five directly. Maybe white is having a bit.
Yeah, but but what should be black's move to get an advantage? C five. What? No, one second. So C five.
C five takes then B takes C four and I win the C five. Oh no, you will go Rook B five. The problem for C five is A B five.
Not working. But people are saying play A six. Simple, huh? Also not working, guys. Not easy. I think Nihal may miss it, I guess.
Yeah, if it is so difficult until now, so कैसे Knight B six के लातो?
CB five or CB five knight A four BC six rook C six knight B five knight C oh that seems to be nice either way he has called for a four and now you have the A pawn which is very strong and it happens in both situations if you're CB then knight A four And once again, you have the passer.
So tell me something, Knight B six we came to this move after trying like six other moves.
Yeah, I think it is a one move thing, but still not the first candidate move. Lamboda, you can see Nihal there. He's thinking. Oh, and his opponent is not very happy.
It seems he's just put his head completely down. Maybe that angle is good, sir. I don't know if he calculates like this anyway I think Knight b six will happen Knight b six I think Nihal will not miss yeah oh Nihal तो पूरा relax कर रहे stretch कर रहे we have Krikri Y M who contributed two thousand rupees on help chest thank you Krikri for your support And guys, I think for Nihal it's very important to do well today because we have two more rounds and एक ही बार इसके बाद.
I mean, yeah.
So one more round after this, and if Nihal can actually get back in shape for the last round, that would be a big news for Team India because as a captain, you don't want to make this tough decision again if Nihal doesn't do well whether to rest Nihal whether to bring back with it. In action. So I think if Nihal wins, I think our board order for tomorrow is going to be clear, right?
And I think there are good chances that Nihal can today win with Suyarov. I mean, this is a chance you hardly get from a position that was there. You usually end in a draw in such games. So this Knight b6 is something if Nihal finds—
I mean, in good shape he would find it, but right now he's in a bit of Slightly shaky, but still, you know, you know it is so important, and sometimes that brings your super focus. Not just if Niall finds Knight b6, that will be the neurofocus move of the day.
Oh yes, we need to see if he makes it. Let's—
by the method of elimination, he can, because in the method of elimination, he will calculate all the captures. The problem is none of them are bad. Thinking about it.
Missed the super chat, guys. Sorry, we cannot follow all the super chats, but thank you so much for supporting us. Bukesh better. Nihal will. He played it.
Let's go! We are having our new row poker. Move of the day.
And look at him, he feels confident. He's about to get up from his chair.
He's happy, actually.
Yeah.
And well, as you said, you don't get these chances with the black pieces. And for Nihal to capitalize on the one he got definitely deserves the Neuro Focus Move and Energy of the Day.
And very important, guys, and try Neuro Gum. It has a clinically proven blend Of natural caffeine that gives you alertness and L-theanine that gives you calm and stable focus without the jitters or the crash. So guys, that was the neuro focus moves of the day, and I hope that we are going to win this match because of this move, Harshit bhai.
I mean, because very important, and also because Gukesh is doing well. So we actually might have a thumping victory today. भाई ये एक मुंह से कितना बदल गया ना पूरा जस बात बदल गए और माहौल बदल गए and we needed this right because since a few days we were commentating on Nihal's game and we were always very scared when he actually did manage to save himself yesterday against Germany that was a huge save as important as it was for Mukesh to win it was essential for Nihal to draw Every half a point counts towards the team winning.
And you know, guys, right now Suyarov seems to be in like he's looking at the board and look at him. He's not happy. He is worried.
देखो he under he assesses it like play well equal only or he understands that okay he's in slight trouble. And Nihal comes to the board. Let me see Nihal's expression over here.
Very important. Please call Vidit. Bye, Vidit. Bye. If you are watching this and if you have some time to spare. When are we going to see Sagar as a GM before next Olympiad? Also, what about— all the best. Thank you, guys.
What is C five? दे दिया तो मार दो ना if Niall can just completely win a pawn.
Ah no you know what he wants he wants to go Rook F C one Amruta and say that the black knight on A four is trapped.
But but but A five B four knight C three.
A five maybe he wanted Rook A one I don't know but knight B two is there. Exactly.
He says blundered. And look at Nihal, look at Nihal there. I cannot believe what's happening on the board.
Yeah, just come, just a pawn. And look at, look at Gukesh behind him. He's like, भाई क्या चल रहा है?
Okay, does. नहीं नहीं knight a five और d five what I was saying कल। He takes d five। Yeah, this is extremely good for black.
I mean, luck. Like, did he? I don't know what he for. Maybe he thought ab five c five.
Maybe he thought he's taken twice. Oh yeah, maybe he wanted to do this. I think what he wanted. No, no, he wanted to do ab, but there was always knight c four. He wouldn't have played cb.
Correct. But I think that's what he wanted because pawn to c five immediately is just like. Missing a pawn on a four, and the bishop on d six is actually. But look at look at Nihal Sarin. Chops it. There it goes. And you could see a small you know emotion there by by Suyarov.
Nihal is not understanding why like this pawn was given. He's just trying to see if there was any trap set, if there is any tactic. Nada. Nothing. Let's Let's go to see see the overview of the four. Do we have the overview of four people? All four of them or no?
Here you can see.
नहीं निहाल has just captured. Why निहाल has just turned around the match already? I mean his opponent mainly by blundering but. I think it's over, right? But this, this is done, bro. It's over.
Remind me of, you know, Nihal at that point of time blundered with Knight e6, allowing Knight e6 check. You remember against Jakubowicz? And, uh, here it's like you get back.
Yeah, he's, he's getting back.
And by the way, you can see Kazim Janow is here.
Times that one chance has been missed by both the players. So yeah, very cool.
Yeah guys, there was actually— we were trying to show you, uh, the expressions of 4 players. I know that there was no sound of ours there, but overall you could see Nihal very up close And that was really nice.
And his opponent is now realizing what he has just done, just giving away a free pawn on a four. And Nihal Sarin is completely winning. Do you want to quickly check what's happening on Gukish's board?
Yeah, yeah. We were there and we could not look at it completely. F six. B three.
Okay, and Divya is also back. Great to know that. Sakar is just saying he's relaxed.
And actually, Gokesh has found some really nice moves here because after b3, c takes b3, a takes b3. Black decided to play the move pawn to e four, and oh by the way, a move has been played by Suyarop.
Do you want to go back to his board?
You can call him. You can ask him.
Okay, by the way, going to.
You want to go back to Suyarov's board because he did make a move. No matter, b3 is just okay to go cb, ab, e4, Knight d2, f5, and a nice move by Gukesh here, Rook to a5. And now he's planning to play either Queen a1, Queen a3, exchanging the queens, or c4, putting more pressure on the pawn on d5. And Gukesh does have a nice advantage here.
I love, I love this move, Rook a5. Yeah, I was thinking of C4 actually here. My instinct was to push the pawn, which is also maybe okay.
Guys, 10,000 of you watching. This is the penultimate round of the FIDE Olympiad here. India has a good chance of fighting for the top spot here.
And look at Nigmatov's move. Artic Nigmatov is taking the fight.
He's trying to be the Sigma, but I don't think Mukesh is going to let that happen.
Why? Let's go for C4. You know, Black is trying to attack on the flank. Let's Let's create our own attack in the center. Pawn to c4, and we are trying to force black to make a decision because if you go all in, then you are just simply losing. Yeah, the pawn. No, you don't. Yeah, just take the pawn on d5. No, just take the pawn on d5.
Yeah, then wait a second.
You rook takes, and white is just fg fg. Everything is under control. So. C4 is a big move here for white, in my opinion.
Actually, guys, the thing is right now India's gold is no longer in the open section in our control. We have to actually hope that Armenia is able to do some damage to Uzbekistan, but that is not sure. Like, if we look at now going To the Armenia-Uzbekistan match. Yeah, um, let's have a look at the games. First, Abdusattorov versus Haik Martirosyan, very even. I think this should end in a draw, maybe. Okay, black is a pawn up, but white has activity with 2 bishops. Correct. Then going to Javokhir Sindarov versus Hovhannisyan Robert, I think Sindarov has a very good position. I agree. Like six pawns versus three, but the engine says it's equal.
But I agree that Javokir has chances.
Clearly, Javokir will convert this.
I have my doubts because look at But yeah, I would say that Javokir has a very good chance of winning this. Right. And then Yakubov versus Shant.
Yakubov versus Shant में Shant Sargissian seems to be slightly better right now. It's still Very complicated. Could go either way. Okay, in this one, so just looking at them here. Yeah, there you see Yakubov. He has been a great force for Team Uzbekistan. Absolutely.
He defeated Hans Niemann yesterday, ensuring that the Uzbek team defeats the American team.
And the last board पे Very even, maybe slightly better for white. Mother me knows.
Yeah, this anyway white can't lose. I think you better it's a draw. So the only thing is if other games by chance end in a draw and if Shant is able to beat Yakubov, but then we are talking about Yakubov who is in excellent form. So it's a very difficult task, but you never know. Like, two to be Ojai either.
So I think it might be good. For sure. By the way, we have a super chat by Dheeraj. Appreciation for Amruta's dad jokes and Sigma Tov is love.
Thank you. Okay, going back to the women's section because Humpy.
Yeah, she's holding. Humpy is doing a very good job of holding with black and that's exactly what we needed from her. To be solid on the top.
Do you think Hampi could get potentially something here?
Unlikely. No, I think very unlikely.
And she did not even try to host it.
Okay, so yeah, Hampi will draw.
Divya, Divya is also going to end in a draw.
Yeah, okay, it will end in opposite colored bishop.
Yeah, exactly. Very nice. Yeah, good hold by her because she was a bit worse. Because they beat India, China, and USA.
Correct. I guess that's true. I mean, to be able to beat three of the top teams—that's already incredible performance.
Yeah. Let's look at. Yeah, an amazing. We were very lucky to be just clicked by one of the best photographers in the world of chess.
Do you want to say hi to the viewers? You can come here, guys. If you have been seeing this amazing pictures on Flickr of FIDE, one of the people who is taking since many tournaments candidates here or just about even in Hong Kong, it's Michael Waluza. Yeah, he's here and you should check out his pictures. Michael, are you not tired? Just a bit since it's our, I don't know, 11th day or something like that and one more to go, so still keeping some energy for the last moments and let's see what today is gonna happen and if we're gonna have some emotions also for the last day. Yes, let's see if today's game is gonna be decisive or not. How many pictures do you take in a day? I don't really know, but I'm selecting about 200 from each day. Yes, but out of maybe 5,000? Maybe 3,000 or something. Wow. And every day he edits 200 photos. And there is also another photographer here, Rafal Oleksijewicz, and both of them do incredible. There are daily, within few minutes of the round ending, there are Close to 400 pictures of the round that are there on the FIDE Flickr. So you can go to flickr.com/fide and see all of Michael's work. Yeah.
And one last question: Who is your favorite player and favorite team to take photographs? Oh, is it very photo person? Very.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know. It's a hard question, hard to answer, but I can, you know, say because my first tournament was in Toronto, like a big tournament for PIDE, and that was tournament that Gukesh won, and I, you know, feel somehow, you know, some kind relation with him because that was my first big champion, you know, when that I captured, and, you know, I have to say that I like to, you know, make pictures of him.
And a photo portrays so many emotions, Right? Like through a photo you can just understand what what happened in the moment and in the match. So it's really cool to get pictures from you.
Thank you so much, Michael. Thank you for joining us. Yes, please. Guys, Michael Waluza from Poland joining us for a bit. One of the top photographers in the world of chess and does some incredible work. Tireless is the word. I think when I watch, see him, I do see some of the things that we are doing. Like when he's eating food, he's editing. When he's working all throughout, he's amazing.
Oh man, Ajuba is better. That's what people are saying in the chat.
Slightly better.
Yes, he has a good position, guys.
Today the Indian team is really good.
Because Mukesh is better on board four, Nihal almost winning on board three, and then we actually just need half a point for our top two boards, and Arjun is better. So this might be a three and a half half victory for us.
Absolutely. I mean, like how they beat Netherlands three and a half half, in a way we can tell Anish We could avenge them.
Yeah, but I mean it's too soon to say that this position is better. I mean it's a nice.
There is a passer which is possible clearly. Yeah, थोड़ा sir. Yes, I did.
Even if guys there was like even if our Bermuda story is true or football scar
Let's go bye.
Only stars get scars because the star converts the scar into becoming a star. देखो अगर one Indian player wins then you get a smoothie। Okay we will have to keep switching all the boards I think all eight boards because women's very critical because I am a bit worried about Vantika, I must say, because her position is a little bit lacking space as black.
White's plans are pretty clear कि भाई g4 push करो। But like she she has a nice bishop on c6. She can always play f6 to kick away the bishop from e5. The bishop can immediately come into d6. I personally like black's position. I think black is doing Okay, okay.
And meanwhile, guys, we have a supporter Zog today once again contributed Hi, what a guy!
He's a well wisher for us and it's always nice to get his support. By the way, Divya has this opposite colored position is around equal, but if black is careless, black can get worse.
Hi, what if black plays queen c six? Guys, we want c one, right? We want yes. Rook c1 attacks the queen, or do you want to play b4, a4, b5? That's also possible. Or king just moves to the side, and let's go. But now Song Yuxin can go Rook c8.
Yeah, I guess like, I guess in some ways, uh, Divya has also just accepted that this game is going to end in a draw with such, uh, such a symmetrical, uh, position. By the way, what do you think about Savita's board? Savita is playing on board 4 against Zaimo. And her opponent—I mean, it's just incredible how aware her opponent was. Understanding that the bishop has served its purpose of putting pressure in the d4 pawn, reroutes the bishop to d6, and now potentially has ideas of jumping with the knight to f4 or h4 with the queen opening up. I do think that Savita needs to be a bit careful.
Mistake! Wow, she just missed. Oh, knight d4! She missed it.
Can you go full screen on her? She just blundered here, guys. Savita, who was performing so well for the Indian team, just missed a pawn. She has just blundered knight takes d4.
You can see Zaimo.
She's getting excited there. The Chinese player Zaimo on board four does have a tactic to win upon.
Knight takes d four, and now if you take the queen, I take your queen.
And after bishop takes c2, rook takes d8, black is simply up a pawn.
And if you take back this knight, then suddenly the protector of your bishop is gone.
Yeah, I mean, I guess you thought knight takes e6 is there, but no, it's very easy to understand that just queen e5 there and your calculation ends. Queen e5 is not only— not the only move, but it's the easiest one. And Savita Shree is in grave danger of losing this match.
Yeah.
Doesn't look good for Savitha. Meanwhile, uh, yeah, it's an important one. She should have— she— it was getting tough for her, as you rightly pointed out, with the knight coming here and the bishop here. I guess she had to play g3.
Yeah, but you know, I, I was not a big fan of how this position already is with white. Even though the engine says it's equal, it's clear that black is the one who's better.
Euro? Yeah, guys, I'm going to try and have a 1 euro. Do you have— I think we have somewhere.
Oh, there it is. I'll give it to one second, guys.

And yeah, the last move by Savita was the move bishop to g five. J.S. contributing on help chess. Thank you so much.
Bye. Should we go to Nihal's game or should we stay here? I'm curious. Time okay.
Because if she doesn't take it. Savita is completely fine, and look at look at her opponent Zaimo. I think she has seen it.
Look at Zaimo there. By the way, bye.
I love the move Lu Miao he has just played. Look at this. Rook h3. Wow, she wants to swing the rook over to the queenside. Nice move.
Yeah, it's a nice move, but I still think Vantika is doing quite okay.
Yeah, I mean, the position is fine, but it's a nice rook lift.
Yeah, trying to, uh, get in the rook inside the game as well. This is the moment, guys. We need Zaimo to not take on d4. We— she has been— she has 7.5 out of 8 But this is a big moment for her because if her opponent takes on D4, the Indian team against China will be in trouble. Nihal people are saying, but one Nihal won.
Bye, can't not one guys, Yeah, he's completely winning, Nihal.
Nihal Sarin is completely winning, guys. A plus four advantage for him. If you count the material, white has five pawns and Black has seven pawns, so white is up not just one but two pawns, and it's an endgame. It's more than enough to win this. So Nihal will will win.
Nihal is not even on the board, and we have.
Do you want to go there? Because if Zaimo finds it, the Indian women's team, uh, will need, will need to find 2 boards to win the games because Hampi's game is very close to ending in a draw. And one, Divya's game was also going to end in a draw. So in fact, if Savita like doesn't hold, we cannot win against China.
Right, or if Divya starts to press, which is difficult. But I do feel that Zaimo has not seen it somehow. She's just sitting there.
But my question is, I mean, if she hasn't seen it, she would just play Queen d7 immediately, right? Or queen c7.
Yeah, she's thinking queen d7, queen c7, queen e8, queen c8.
But guys, it's very—I mean, I'm sure everyone in the chat also is going to find this is a puzzle rush tactic. Yeah, it's not even like it's not even hidden. It's right there in front of you. Your bishop attacks the queen on d8. Which is protected by the knight. You just get rid of the defender of the bishop with knight takes d four. It's actually pretty straightforward for Zaimo to play knight takes d four. And look at Savita. She's not even like you know moving at all. She's trying to have a poker face there, completely focused. And what a bluff it would be if it works out.
People are saying Sagar bhai hopeful है। We never know. Just to show Harshit bhai's analysis here, this bishop protected by this knight. If you play this, the knight is deflected. Queen can take the bishop. If you take the queen, I take your queen. I hit your rook. You take it back. I take your bishop. I'm a pawn up.
And I think her opponent is about to make a move. Zaimo looks at the score sheet to see how many moves to be made, and she's about to make a move.
Will Zaimo play knight d4? Why?
We are in big trouble on Savita's board, Amruta.
China is in form, so looking at that, most likely She will play knight d4.
And also, if you just analyze a bit, knight takes d4, bishop takes d8, knight takes c2, bishop takes c2, rook takes d8. I mean, even if you take on g6 and give black the doubled pawns, well, it's still a clean pawn up with a bishop pair, 2 strength central connected pawns. It's very easy to play with black here.
Okay, Savita can fight a bit.
Yeah, but even a move like rook takes f3, if you show it in this position, is better for black maybe. Oh, and she plays it! Knight takes d4 on the board. Can you see Savita's reaction there? Savita Shri just made a big mistake, guys, missing this concept of knight takes Takes d4. Not completely over yet, but looking bad. And just like yesterday, we again need a miracle, bhai. Again in a tough situation, the Indian women's team.
Somehow this position is such a bad one, right? Like, I don't think this can— you can save it from here.
ओ, but Savita has you know so many times fought from bad positions.
Yeah yeah she's she's a little bit like you know how Gukesh has the quality of fighting back. Savita also has it. And guys here's the variation again.
I don't know if you missed it but if you take here queen takes g five and if knight takes e six which feels like forks the rook and the queen runs into queen e five threatening check. Mate on H2, and Savita is in big trouble here.
Just take a look whether is maybe we need to call some bye bye.
Bye. Just let's take a look if there's any other board where we have any chances. Okay, Vantika's board. I do think that Vantika can actually get chances. I have a feeling that Vantika can get chances in this. Why? But Vantika is the only one who can try because what about Divya? Yeah, Divya's game. I don't see how Divya can play for a win here. And then going to Conero's game, Conero is doing well with the black pieces. I mean, holding against Shujinar, she's actually the higher rated player. So I think Hampi did her job perfectly. Yeah, if Savita actually is in trouble, only Vantika can potentially fight back to make it 2-2.
But two-two is not good enough for any gold medal. Maybe for silver and bronze it's fine, but gold will be gone.
But if you overstretch, then even you know silver and bronze are gone.
Yeah, true.
No, if we lose this match, we are out of medal contention.
Yeah, I think so. Then even a draw is behind because you at least keep the chances till the last.
The Chinese women's team is extremely strong and in form right now.
Let's see what by the way, David had some moves.
This happened: knight takes d four, bishop takes d eight, knight takes c two takes, and Simon took on d eight with the arrow.
But we are talking about defending right now, and like beating China is out of.
Quite a big. No, I mean if Savita can hold this and if like how Nihal was worse yesterday and had to hold, and then Vantika can try to win.
Actually, if Savita holds this, we have decent chances of beating China. But for Savita to hold is very difficult from this situation.
Also, more Vantika to get an advantage is. Quite another thing, you know. Her opponent is very strong, Lu Miaoyi.
Yeah, it's wishful for sure. It's wishful. I mean, objectively speaking, China— I mean, you can even see from the, from the evaluation bar there— is a favorite to win the match.
Guys, let's hope that something turns around here in the women's section. In the boys, let's see if— how is Uzbekistan doing? Because that match is very important for us from the gold medal perspective of Team India.
Someone has to join.
This is complex.
I mean, the engine says it's equal, but it's complex, right?
Exactly. And there is a move played by नॉर्डिरबैक. Just curious to see which move he played here. I guess knight e five makes a lot of sense, but then bishop b seven check. No, it's a complex. He goes bishop c five. Wow! Because bishop e two doesn't trap the rook. We have the a five square. But yeah. Okay, so let's say this is equal. Zhao Wukir is getting better though, and this and this is what we predicted. I mean, this is this is not point three, right? White has a very big advantage here. He has three pawns for the exchange, and black's pawns on f seven and f five are weak.
I think Javokir is a good player. Yeah, maybe you should consider playing the World Championship cycle. What a guy! Javokir Sindharu loses yesterday, comes back even stronger. So even in the World Championship match, it will be difficult to kind of You know, take him down mentally.
Yeah, I mean, bouncing back with a win is is not easy, but Javokir seems to be doing it.
Shant versus so here, Shant Sargissian is better.
Oh, which is very interesting because against Yakubov.
And Yakubov was the star player of Uzbekistan. He was losing to Nihal, but he turned it around. Can he do it once again? Because if not, the Armenian team can hope for a full point here. And then if Madaminov doesn't win, we are looking at a 2-2 score, right?
Okay, then India has to do their job. India has to win the open section. Let's do a roundup there also. What's happening there?
We have a big super chat.
Who has super chatted. It's remarkable to see how far the chess community has come. As a rated player, I can clearly feel how chess has evolved into a mainstream sport. The impact you have had on elevating Indian chess has been truly significant.
Thank you, bye. Thank you, Ranadeep, that's very kind of you. Okay, going to the game of Prag versus Waki do.
अरे look at the king on H1. Okay, white is attacking, but the king is exposed, and if the attack fails, then very dangerous.
I completely agree with that. I mean, white can very easily overextend the pawns. He has four pawns on actually five pawns on the fourth rank right now. But obviously, if you overcommit your pawns, I think Prag will take over. And the good The good news is Pragg was down 30 minutes. The time has leveled, and as the game continues, I do feel that Pragg will get his chances, which is good for Team India.
Very good point, actually. And let's not forget, Pragg has been in form in general. Pragg has been higher rated. Pragg has been very highly experienced. So chances of opponent not converting is higher.
I agree with that. I think Pragg will get very good chances there. Arjun, on the other hand, has already gotten those chances. Because after rook a to c eight, he has an option of spoiling black's pawn structure with d takes e six. D takes e six is a move that is logical, but that runs into knight c five. Wow! What an intermezzo!
E f seven check is also an intermezzo.
Queen f seven, queen f seven, and then f three is hanging.
Exactly.
Attack on b three and f three.
The knight and the queen. What a nice trap Abdus Salimov has set up here. I have a feeling that the best move in this position could be the sneaky move pawn to d6.
I had knight d4 on mind, but maybe that also runs into knight c5.
Wow!
Wait, knight d4? Yes. And knight d5. No, no, no. You cannot give 2 rooks, right? Or you can, maybe. Actually, c takes d5. Hello? Queen c1, rook c1 takes, bishop f1, knight c5. We will go for queen a3.
So Arjun needs to make a decision here. Okay, can— did we find the best idea? Like, let's say knight d4, ed5. Is there anything better for white? Like any other moves? Like knight f f5, but then Queen e5. Yeah, Knight f5 maybe.
And d takes c4 is not possible, b7 is hanging. Correct.
Knight c5, there is Queen c3 maybe, but I think Knight d4 is an important move.
Yeah, let's see if Prag plays— Arjun plays this Knight d4 and presses here. Let's head to the next one. Yeah, no, but recently.
Okay, let's go, let's go. Okay, Nihal, one thing I love about his position is it is stress-free.
Yeah, Nihal is, uh, on his path of converting this advantage. Gukesh, we haven't had a look at his board from a long time. Oh! Why this is getting really complex?
Portig Nigmatov has taken this position into very dangerous territories for Gukesh. Although Gukesh is walking around, look at what has happened. Queen a1, he went f4, Gukesh snatched the pawn, and now Queen d6. C4, and if FG, he wants to take back.
Queen takes even give up.
Oh, but now he wants Rook f8 and Knight f1.
Wow! But how is it so better? Wait a second.
You are a pawn because Rook f8, Knight f1, and then the black pawns are very weak. So what's the way for black instead of Queen takes g3? Uh, after fg3, fg3. Oh wow, what would it be?
Knight f6, I think, just to come to g4. Or yeah, Knight f6, Bishop g4, Bishop g4, Knight g4, and then Queen f6. Exactly.
And now Rook f7 is also a way to kind of kick the white queen away.
Exactly and actually guys, guys if you like सागर शर्ट and if you want to order it please check out the link in the description. हाँ आज tough लग रहा है India का भी गुकेश का board okay Arjun and Nihal are better yeah भाई tough नहीं लग रहा है वो men's का I mean गुकेश board is a bit shaky yeah but this FG FG Knight F6 is also not easy yes we have it for all the young people also like like twenty like five six years old five years old also you might By the way, Walkie-Dove is about to make a move as we see on the camera, but going to Savita's board.
Hi, Savita crazy! If she holds this, that would be amazing.
Yeah, if Savita holds this and then Vantika gets chances, well, that's the dream scenario.
That's what happened yesterday, right?
I think she's resourceful, so chances तो रहेगा, though it is much tougher than all others.
Oh, I am telling you, Savita will get chances.
वंतिका वंतिका वंतिका look at what Liu Mauyi has done she plays rook h3 and then goes f3 to just block her own one it's like a self goal right self block self goal football में self goal रहता है सागर जो खुद का ही goal मारता है हाँ समझा समझा सागर भाई बेचारा भाई self block भी रहता है ना हाँ self block कराटे में रहेगा शायद self defence रहता है जो तुम्हें करना पड़ेगा अभी but yeah this is a great news for वंतिका also And सत्या मिसिंग सागर भाई आपका short option कर दो ज़्यादा मिलेगा। Sir, I want more people to be able to wear this not like.
Bye. Divya must be looking at the other boards and saying to herself I need to keep playing on and on.
Yeah, but I mean it isn't it a bit too late to think like that because look the d four square is no longer possible.
To fight for. You can go Rook b1 and put some pressure. There is some pressure.
I mean, Black can go King f8. Yeah, I mean, yeah, of course White can keep playing. White can keep playing. But, and actually, maybe it's not a bad idea to keep playing and, uh, just keep, uh, hopes alive for Savita, because it would be hard for Savita to keep playing if 2 other boards have already finished. Correct. And then if she is losing, it will be very hard for her to defend herself.
Kaganus Marlsen super chats and says, "What am I supposed to do with my life tomorrow onwards? I have watched you guys while working, while chilling, while setting up fake Zoom meet to watch Buki beat Donnie Chessbase India OP GM69 OP." अरे भाई, thank you so much.
कल से what you can do is first focus Back on track. कल का दिन तो आप देखो, and उसके बाद take some short break. I mean continue practicing and then we'll be back with total world championship. We'll be back with world championship. We'll be back with many other things.
So you can have the freshness over there. That would be good.
By the way, Savita, Savita's board, a decision for her to make down to 22 minutes. Bishop takes g6. Is a good way to try and start that journey of defense because you cannot take with the rook.
Hey, let's ask the chat. No, chat, Sagar has answered for you. Next question again will happen, but bishop g6 is a tough move because it's a beautiful bishop and you have to give it up.
So देखते हैं। I think rook a d1 is likely with the idea of And we have them on the camera here. Well, maybe not, because after rook to b1, the b4 pawn is under attack. The b4 pawn is under attack, Amruta, and after white captures that pawn, I think.
हाँ, first shop, rightmost shop, rightmost shop, very smoothy.
Rook b1 has been played, her threat is Rook b4. What did you just say?
I was just saying like this is petering out.
ठीक है so I think women Hampi का game is going towards a draw for sure. Divya also going towards a draw. We are banking upon Vantika to try and create some drama over here. Yeah, 25 moves to be played. Vantika is down to 15 minutes. Lu Mei also has 25 minutes, so it is going to get very chaotic in some time only.
Yeah, no, big, big match for Vantika, and she has been performing very well.
And, uh, oh, and guys, We just had a very big, oh my God, very big help chess contribution from Sagar Dad.
Dharmesh Shah has contributed ₹25,000 to help chess.
Wow! Wow! That's a huge thing. I think Sagar just went away, but we will be giving him this good news because I think actually. Yeah, he has contributed many times to Help Chess. He's one of the very big contributors, and thank you so much, uh, for this contribution, Papa. And yeah, yeah, happy news.
So much support for Help Chess.
And we also had 15 minutes ago Chessero.com who contributed ₹500. And Chessero, guys, all of you will be knowing Who, who are the founders? Can you write in the chat? I'm sure the founders are watching. Rakshit bhai. Rakshit bhai, Arya, I think yes guys always helping us. JS also has contributed five hundred.
By the way, and now we go back to Gukesh's board because Gukesh's opponent has found this. Has found this idea of play. Oh, by the way, yeah, Nihal is completely winning there.
Okay, doesn't.
We can bring Nihal if you want. That's also fine.
But we can put Nihal because we can see. हाँ हाँ okay okay.
नहीं दोनों इधर ही आएंगे मतलब even if it is okay okay because look at this.
It's eleven minutes for Suyarov, and now I think what Nihal is doing is going King G6, King F5. Like G5 is a great move. And another super chat by Rishi Kane: Chessbase India makes following Indian chess like watching cricket with friends. Analysis, raw emotions, humor, and a lot of heart. Sagar and team thanks. Come on India! Thank you, Rishi.
Thank you, thank you. G three has been played, so he's trying to create some counterplay over here. But I don't think like even if I make a move, I want to see if any five moves.
King g six first move, h six second move, So that's not a good one.
Yeah, but white is playing up everything. Yeah, yeah. So Nihal is just doing it. I think actually the board of Gukesh is very exciting.
This is critical. We need to stay here for a while and see what's happening. In fact, though Sagar said, uh, the tiebreaker, the bullet cameras are complicated, I'm still gonna go and do it. Boom! Let's see if we are able to get there. I think he was. No. ठीक है, we will ignore. Okay, Vivek is watching. Maybe he can show the Mukesh's bullet cam over there.
And Suraj Kotipalli contributing one one one six. Thank you so much, Suraj, for your contribution. Oh, thank you.
Oh, Suraj! Hey,
Help chess play, Amrita.
Very nice. Yeah.
By the way, this was the game that we were talking about because this idea of playing knight f six was very good by Nigmatov, but rook f two. Gukesh is still posing problems because if queen takes g3, knight f1. That's the whole point, because now white safeguards all of the weaknesses and now can focus on attacking black's weaknesses. So if I go back still to just show what is happening, uh, I guess c5 maybe, and, uh, and white is getting better. White is getting better here. So rook f2 is a very good decision by Gukesh.
Actually, it's very calm and very composed. And generally, okay, generally Gukesh, you know, does not make such decisions. But over here, the position demands that, and he is able to take these amazing difficult decisions so coolly. Yeah. What about instead of Queen g3? What is the other move you will be thinking about?
Maybe Bishop g4, but it's tough maybe to find this Bishop g4.
Yeah, because you want to develop, and this is the And it allows rook takes f6.
It allows rook f6, but there is queen f6.
Oh sorry, I mean this doesn't work because there is nothing after king h2. Yeah.
So after rook takes f6, rook takes f6, and after bishop g4, queen g3, this is actually winning for black. So bishop g4 is a great move here for Nigmatov. By the way, you can see the score updated in the women's section. It's half for India, half for. China as Conero Hampi drew Zhu Jin'er on board one.
Got it. But tell me something, Bishop g4 को white से क्या खेलना चाहिए? Because it is a very critical decision. If I go back to f1, I thought knight wanted to go there, right? So Bishop f1 avoiding exchange is not gonna work. Correct. Queen takes g3 and it loses on the spot. Uh huh. If I continue a move like Knight f1, here it feels passive to me. Though computer says it is completely fine, and I don't know if I'm happy about this position because I would be a bit.
No, Bishop G four is surely a great move for Nigmatov, and the question is whether he can find it with just sixteen minutes on the clock.
But before Bishop G four, the best move for white would be maybe Knight F one as I. Played. Could be interesting. But what about an intermezzo c5? But Queen g3, right? Queen g3, Knight f1. And this time it's not the same, actually.
Wow, this is getting very complex, guys. Bishop g4 by Nigmatov Vortik will make the game of Gukesh versus, uh, of Gukesh versus Nigmatov very complex.
Whoa, let's see.
We are very happy because Nihal is completely winning on board 3. And actually, that might be a crucial win for us. Nihal, because of whom our— like, you know, we were basically not so happy with his performance, is getting back in shape. Anirudh the Goalie contributing ₹1,001 for Help Chess. Thank you, guys.
Uh, Help Chess is completely like when Pumresh came here and he announced that, uh, we will— he will be giving a premium LinkedIn membership for 6 months, and it will be selected from all the healthiest donators. It was very donations. It was very sweet of him to do that. One more question to you: What if is it the same for knight g4, Harsha?
The thing with knight g4 is that somehow after rook takes f8, you it's hard to make a move because if you go back with the queen, now suddenly I can just take the knight on g4, and you you don't have any counterplay against. My king. So that's why knight g four is not working out very well. Okay.
So that means bishop g four is the very critical moment for Nigmatov to find it.
And while he is thinking, we will go to maybe Vantika. People are saying Vantika is getting a bit better, guys. But it's still complex. But I agree with you. I actually do believe that Vantika is. Getting practically better because of white's rook being awkwardly placed here on h3. Black having the idea of going pawn to f6. I think Vantika winning would be huge.
Yeah, no, and this game is like you know nineteen minutes for Lu and thirteen minutes for Vantika. They have to make twenty four moves. Guys, everything at the last moment होता है ना everything like. I guess you must have done this कि I want to go for a vacation, I think वांतिका is more used to it because वांतिका is always coming down under time pressure.
She is used to this chaos but Liu, Liu Mayui maybe is not so experienced under time pressure. So I think वांतिका having a practical advantage here. Divya's board, Divya is down to Seven minutes. Divya is down to seven minutes here.
Ten moves to be made, and the position is not at all very tough. So she will easily manage. Yeah. Right now already opposite colored bishop.
Like this takes, rook takes c three, and we might see a handshake here. This is happening.
Sindarov is winning. That's the news we have got right now. Can we just show Sindarov's game for a moment? Completely winning here, and you can see Sindaro in the background over there.
And you can see he has too many pawns, Amruta. Look at this: one, two, three, four, five, six pawns for compared to only two pawns for black. A weak king on g8. I think Javakir should win this without any problems, and we predicted this, right?
No, there was no possibility to defend you know well against this. It was a very difficult position.
And it goes to show how misleading the engine evaluation can be, Amruta. The engine says this is 0.00, but both of us kind of just knew that Javokir is going to win this, and it's happening. Javokir is winning. Uh, Norderbeck, it's still around equal.
And how do the people, how do the intermediate players develop that sense, Harshit bhai, that this will Slowly be easier for white to convert.
I think it comes from experience, but also because of the king safety, right? I mean, on Javakir's board, it was clear that the black king is very, uh, like, is kind of weak here with the pawns being doubled. If the pawn was on g6, this f5 pawn, if it was on g6, black is completely fine. But with the pawns being doubled, I think white was just basically playing for 2 results here.
Absolutely. So then Javokir is winning. Sindaro is sorry.
Sindaro is winning, and Shant Shant actually may be slightly better. So the Armenian team have hopes on Shant's board, but Madaminov is actually winning suddenly.
Okay, then at this point Uzbekistan is saying guys, wait, did he just blunder here?
Did Sergisian just blunder here? A bishop to B five.
Yeah, he went Queen b7.
Bishop b5 happened because if Knight d8 now, which has been played, I think Queen takes b7. No, what's the move here? How can White get a winning position? What's the move here, guys? White to play. White to play and win. Oh my God! Can you find it? You think? Wow, Madam Inov has a winning move here, but it's not easy.
Wait, wait, Sagar is coming. We can ask him. Can find it? People are saying D five. D five a good move because Knight D five for F seven is protected.
Yeah, D five is the move here, guys.
Wow!
If knight takes d five, well done.
Please Akshay, please Badiyar, Ram Krishna. What is the bishop d seven
नहीं नहीं नहीं नहीं नहीं no no no now it could be something very.
It could be knight to d seven.
Here, guys. The idea is rook takes d5 and queen f6 check.
If rook goes to a8, then I have a feeling that there could be boom. No, Amruta.
It's better to be accurate than to be fast. Because once your accuracy improves, speed will automatically come.
Maybe H5, yeah? Just complete bind. Okay, then he cannot find.
Wow! Five is H5, but this is not easy, guys. But D5 played. Madami no. And the entire Uzbeki team is just completely on fire here, bhai. Winning against Sergisi and Gabriel.
Wow!
We have we have Madamino. Let's look at Madamino if we can get him here.
This is just epic, epic chess. And there is Madamino. Oh no! There is Gukesh.
11,000 people are watching, guys. Like this game. What a crazy idea!
If you take e takes g5, what's the idea after e takes g5? This is not at all easy to understand. Order there, not at all easy. Oh my No. What's the way now, Sagar bhai? How can white play now, man? This is really tense.
I think by again h5 only because h5 and if knight h5 bd7.
Maybe knight d7, yeah. Knight d7 and then g4. Oh my God!
Five, D five and H five is beautiful concept.
Somehow G H five is just Queen F five and the queen is infiltrating. Man, this is this is a contender for Neuro move of the day. I mean even if it's not for the Indian team, this idea of playing pawn to D five is phenomenal.
If he plays H five then it should be the Neuro.

Oh, already one one
Yeah.
Savita has to hold and Vantika has to strike, which is very tough.
But will he find it by the way after d5, ed5 on the board? Can h5 be played? I mean, it will be surprising for Madaminov to play d5 and then think, right? Yeah. But he's not on the board yet, so I'm sure as soon as he comes on the board, he will be making. This move pawn to H5. What a guy he is! Like second of Javakhir was around 25, 40, 50. Started working with Sindarov. Not only helped Sindarov to do so well, but himself has gained 70, 80 points. Dude, this guy is scary. Look at him.
He's come there.
Uzbekistan has won it.
Yeah, it's the winning move of the day. I killed ya! Oh my God!
He he has seen it. Look at Gabriel Mukhidin Madaminov playing a brilliancy on the board. Yeah, again, the point is to just distract them. I played it.
Oh my God, why? I think he has played it. If he plays it, what a find by—
what a find! Did he play?
But did he play? Whoa! Best moves of the day.
Insane. By the way, while you were, uh, away, your father, huh, contributed ₹25,000 on Help Chess.
Really?
Yes.
Wow, thank you, Dad. It's amazing. He's, he's a big follower of chess. He loves chess. His rating is— he was the one who taught me chess, and he has actually contributed a lot to Help Chess. So he believes in the mission of what we are doing. So thank you.
And this for me is perhaps—I mean, I'm going to use this. I assure you that I'm going to use this in a training puzzle for my students to find D five and H five is is incredible.
Savita is back. Hi, Gabriel Sergisianka reaction. Okay, let's go to Savita. If she's back, India's chances could come back. Yes, she's fighting. Let's go, bye bye. This is huge, but it's it it is the gold medal chance for us. We cannot look at look at how Divya has finished her game, but she has not left, right? She's standing there. She's hoping that the team can deliver today.
Two more boards remaining, and those are the two hopes that can potentially carry us. Look at this towards the gold medal, and Amruta.
Wow! Wow, Amruta! Thank you.
This is incredible.
Guys, so what is happening in the women's board is that because Savita is slowly fighting back here, you can see that after she was. Clearly worse here. A6, b6 was not a good move by her opponent. She had to find the move h6, slightly tricky to push the knight away, but because you know there were other— by the way, Anandi, thank you for contributing ₹5,000 to help chess. Yeah, there you can see Vantika. Come on, Vantika! Today a lot rides on you, just like how lot rode on Bukesh yesterday. Look at g4. She went queen at seven. She wants to provoke g5 so that she can get back the f5 square. Like just the basic idea, not go immediately. But queen e1 takes takes. Oh oh my god! Rook d5. Come on, Vantika! I think, guys, Vantika can do it. As we have Harsh Patel who has contributed again ₹5,000 on Help Chest. Guys, thank you all for your contribution. And as Kumares, who was here with us, the head of LinkedIn India, he had said every day 2 LinkedIn Premium memberships. So day before yesterday, yesterday, and today, we will select 2 each. Kumresh will send us six links once he reaches back home, and then we will give it to two lucky people every day. Six months LinkedIn premium membership who have contributed on Help Chest. So thank you all for your contribution. Karthik has contributed fifteen hundred. Yes, I said thanks to my dad. Guys, today some my seems to be busy but if he is free मैं उनको link देख के रख के भेजता हूँ that if he is free he can join because if समय भाई join तो फिर तो खत्म हो जाता है भाई match उधर ही भेज के रखते हैं भाई क्या पता समय भाई मतलब गाइस, the match is right now. If you think about it, not in our favour because one-one है. Savita is worse and Vantika is not winning. But if let's imagine a move, what what is the most natural move that comes to your mind? Like to my mind, the most natural move is Queen e2, but then I lose the pawn. Okay, so it's not the most natural move. I'll play Queen f4. I keep this pawn defended. Now I'm thinking take, take, and now a move, a powerful move for Black. What can you do here, guys? Black to play. Rishikesh Kanegaukar has given ₹1,500. Thank you so much, Rishikesh. And Arjun Eri, guys, is better. Amruta, after takes Takes queen b three, rook c one.
He had played d five and later what happened?
Yeah, he played very well actually.
Look at Arjun here.
That is by the way Gukesh there. We'll go to Gukesh's game also soon. Rook c eight You can see there.
Oh, ninety four he found.
Well done. Takes queen b two. What about?
Oh, we had not considered. We had not seen the engine. What? We didn't even know this was a move he had to play. Because if you take here, knight f five now. So the idea is same. Knight f five के बाद takes and we were looking at maybe some ideas over there. But still, what's happening? Like if Let's say Queenie. Double attack.
Yeah. So इसके लिए Knight c five was played and now Arjun is totally winning guys. There are threats of Knight f five, Knight c six pin here. So Arjun has a even d six could work out at some point. So Arjun doing really well and meanwhile help chess doing really well Amruta.
We have seven three seven.
Beluru Manoj. Contributing three three three three. We have Harshit Suryanarayanan one thousand one, Shivansh Kariya seven hundred and one, Chandra Shekhar seven fifty. Thank you guys. Thank you so much for believing in our vision and mission of help chess. And by the way, I think he made couple of quick moves here. Amruta moves are coming in, but what was the move made? We have Abdus Salim Queen e5, and Arjun immediately responded. I think he played Rook e1 or what?
A lot of discos over here. Black has to be careful. Rook e1, Queen f6. Yes, where there is a disco, there is also a pin. Always remember that.
Where there is a disco, there is always Sagar.
It's also a good one. And a great news is also Savita is back. Yes, Savita is back every single day. Let's go, guys!
Do like the stream. India is fighting in the open. We are actually crushing it. Yeah, they go Nihal Sarin completely winning. Either Mukesh is completely winning. So the boys have come out today in good shape and are finishing this off. This job which they were given. By the way, Gukesh felt under pressure when f4 came, Amruta.
But then he no, this we analyzed very well actually. यहाँ पे सागर that he rook f2 was a classy move he found with the idea of knight f1. Ah, too good, too good. सब कुछ बचाने के लिए and opponent and queen g3 was a mistake. But bishop you know here he had to find bishop g4 very carefully.
But no queen b4 is fine and now he had to find bishop g4.
Again bishop g4 was working.
But He played Queen takes b3, and now it's actually losing position.
Wait, I have to find engine. Double attack, okay? Takes. Wait, don't tell, please, please let people find.
Amrut, I just over because the move is Queen e7. King is weak. ये सब कुछ बच गया है, and he plays it. Look at the queen right in front of your eyes. Queen E seven played by Gukesh, and guys this is over. Gukesh is also winning.
Oh my goodness! But this is important. अगर just let's stay here because quick moves are happening. But then Queen D eight check. Rook f8.
Did he play? No, he went Queen b7. He has seen it.
Doesn't matter, right? You just simply go back to e5, or how is it? Don't trade.
Queen e5 is a good move.
Or Queen d6 better because it pins the knight. But what about Queen d7 now? Then Rook f6. Nah, it is defending the— Very good, Amrita, very good.
Your tactics are very sharp now. What have you done? Queen d six.
Prag is also winning. Yeah, let's go there, man. If Prag is winning, Arjun is winning, Gukesh is winning.
Guys, four o coming, four o.
And I think the Indian team guys had come over here.
The Vaibhav and they were hoping for four o. Rook d one and the main. And guys, we have a very special guest joining us. He is a grandmaster from Israel. His name is Alec Gershon here, and he's also the CTO of ChessBase. Alec, if you can come a little closer. Hi, welcome. And he's also a commentator. You have commentated in events, right? Yes, yes, yes. I keep seeing your video here every time. There is— yes, there is one event where you have commentated which comes here. So Alec is Also an author. If guys, any of you have read the book San Luis 2005 Tournament, oh, it's written by him, him and Igor Nor, right? Yes, yes.
And now to be my coach and then dear friend.
Wow! And now with Chessbase, he's the new chief technical officer. So thank you, Alec, for coming.
So finally Chessbase is coming on Mac.
Thanks for having me. That's the big news here.
Yes, ChessBase is coming on Mac. It's the big news on in November. We'll talk more about it. But Alec, yeah, India, we were following Indian games here today playing Uzbekistan too, are actually winning almost 4-nil. Really?
Yes. Fill me in because I haven't had a chance to even look at the game.
So right now this position, Rook d1 by Waqido was a mistake. Prag took, and what is the winning move, guys? After rook takes b2, there has to be something that was missed.
Well, I had to look at the engine.
Ah, ah, yes.
Oh, but he missed it! He missed it!
Prag misses it! Wow! Okay, but he's still better.
So was it Queen e7 and f5, right? The h4 pawn is hanging.
Wow, this was a double attack. So e4 is attacked and the idea is f5, right? Yes, I think so. Yeah, and if you protect it, then f5. And it's just suddenly, you know, you have to switch your mindset that the queen comes here. Yeah, somehow for the geometry it is a little difficult in this pressure in the practical game. If you don't know, this is the moment you have to be sharp.
So here, Rook e2, and now next up is Queen takes h4 is hanging. f5 is coming in.
Oh no, he missed it! But then you know what, if Rook e6, Rook e2 was played, and now the chance is gone, or what?
Yeah, because he now Has the time to protect h4, right? After queen e7, we can do some. Maybe Prague wants to just double on a triple on the file. Maybe rook e7, queen e8.
Ah, he plays queen e8. Okay. So you're saying he wants to go rook e7 next? I would think so. Isn't it still a pressure? Like, do you like for white or for black?
You have this. Very tasty for the roof.
You are right, very weak. Yeah, okay, so I'm not a Prague is better. Prague is winning.
Bukesh, uh, is also—
I think this is good. Let's quickly check and get Alex thought on the women's because this is kind of the gold medal match because China is on 17 points, India is on 15, and the one who kind of wins here, uh, if India beats China, then they both reach 17, and India has better tiebreaks. But China, if they win, they are the champions. So even draw, right? Even draw. So the score is 1-1. Top 2 boards have ended in draws, and now we are looking at this game between Vantika Agrawal and Lu Miaoyi. And what are your feelings here? Do you think any chances for?
Like again, it's similar to Prague's game a little bit, right?
We put some pressure on the file, but somehow black should like if this happens, then I think black is comfortable because rook f five is a nice outpost. f four, d four, h four could become potential weaknesses.
You can play for me, you know, 300 moves and try to squeeze, right?
But probably white should keep the bishop. Looks like it, yeah.
You know, and then this how they teach us to play. If all your pawns on the squares of the bishop, you should keep the bishops, right? And the bishop is constrained by them.
Um, so all the best moves are moving the bishop basically. Let's see if if hi, Lu Miaui does that. Good.
Which? Thank you. Which country you from?
Do you want to say hi to the viewers?
No, it's fine. Just like this. Come from here.
Hi, what's your name?
My name is Shaida.
Sheda, and you are from which country?
Namibia.
Namibia. And do you follow our videos?
Yes, chess biz. Yeah, follow. Yeah.
And what do you enjoy?
Enjoy? I enjoy chess. You enjoy chess? Nice. And how old are you? I'm eleven. Wow.
She's the youngest.
Wow. So she's the youngest player ever from Namibia to qualify to the Olympiad. Congratulations, thank you, and wish you all the best. Hope you, you have a great chess career and you become a very strong player. Yes, bye. So sweet.
Yeah, amazing. Okay.
Guys, Bishop e2 was played by Lu Miaoyi. And how's the second game? And this is where we want to get the thoughts. Savita Shri, she has been playing a great event until now. She was in 7 out of 7, then she drew yesterday, 7.5 out of 8. Today she was playing well, but she all of a sudden blunders Bishop g5, allowing Knight d4. Oh! Tactics, and after take, take.
But she's back second. Yeah, the thing is, that's what people said.
I mean, this is what I want to know from Alec. Do you think that White has recovered from that blunder? We have the live position here. This is where we are. So it's still gone up for.
Yeah.
Somehow this knight putting pressure here gives some hope, right? Yes. How do we proceed?
Actually, no, sorry. What you were saying?
I was thinking maybe try to get. Knight to c6. Maybe it's knight before a move, or is it knight d4? There's e5, e5, and knight— I don't have knight c6.
No knight c6 because this is hanging.
Okay, so this is not—
it's a very tough move here. I just saw the engine. d2. I mean, I don't even understand, like, you have to drive the knight Yes, but also the knight does not have too many squares. I mean, maybe knight f4.
I know knight f4. Yes. Am I?
Oh my God, guys! White to play. What is the best move here? Try to think. Meanwhile, we have a contributor on Help Chess Pawan. Thank you for becoming a believer of Indian chess. So we have this. Help Chess Foundation, where people contribute and it's used for the young talents of Indian chess. So whenever we stream, we kind of have this small widget. So here people can see who has contributed. So thank you all for contributing. So this is the live widget here. By the way, Savita hasn't played here, but the move exactly, guys. No, no, no, no. I'm just saying there's a live board. B four traps the bishop in the middle of the board.
Wow! Unbelievable. No, it's. So what do we do on Rook D two?
Yeah, Rook D two. You have to go to B four.
Yes. And then, yes, with maybe some ideas of take, take, and knight c6.
And then, and maybe the a6 pawn could be dangerous. Yeah, at some point, man, Savita can even win this, I think.
Now come on, Savita, you know. Okay, so Savita is winning.
What about—
no, not really. He's already— Savita is slightly worse and she And she finds Rook d2. Let's go, Savitha!
And they are short of time.
Yeah, only 6 minutes.
She was 7 out of 7 and then she drew a game, so she's unbeaten and really performing super well.
For her, it's also a matter of maybe a medal, right?
Yeah, yep.
And by the way, guys, some news coming in that Arjun, who was really better here. I think he's winning. Yeah, he should win this. One second, let's just quickly check. So CD, we left it here. Queen e5, rook came here. He brought his rook, then found Queen a2. You know what, Alec, you have to see this idea of Arjun. He goes b5, rook c8, knight d4. He takes, and now Arjun finds this incredible move queen b2 with the threat of knight f5. And after knight c5 cd, rook d1. It looks so simple, so easy. Yes, he makes it.
Exactly d5, knight d4, queen b2. All of this whole sequence was not easy.
No easy, but he makes it look easy, right? That's the beauty.
But if you lose the c six pawn, it's a draw.
No, but you are not like you can go rook takes takes and queen c four hitting defending the bishop is here and it's like you have to take to give up at least a knight for this c pawn, right? So guys, Arjun Erigaisi. Is actually completely better. Nihal is winning. Nihal was winning since a long time.
She has a chance, guys.
It's a busy time here with so many people coming in and So many different things. Okay, and Bhukesh does find the move queen to d6, king g7. Bhukesh is also— he's actually 7.5 out of 9. He may reach 8.5 out of 10.
Very impressive. Finally, he's back.
Can you tell us like how Like, have you played the Olympiad before? No, I actually have never played.
But you know what? G four is so difficult over here. How did you find G four?
But Amruta is in good shape. Yeah. So right now it's not a surprise when Mukesh finds good moves.
Okay. Sorry. Yeah.
No. He. He needs the square for the knight. He needs to move, and then the knight comes, and then knight g3.
Then it makes sense. He's going for a checkmate, so then he's going to see that.
Got it. By the way, guys, a huge update coming in that Uzbekistan's Javokir Sindarov crushed it, and Madaminov crushed it the second, and the player duo have already got them. 2 points, which means that they need only half a point. But Shant Sargissian is better against Yakubov.
And the bad news coming in is Arjun has blundered. Arjun blundered?
How did Arjun blunder from that position? Oh, he goes Queen a5. This, this has been the trend with Arjun here. He has been missing moves somehow.
But then he's losing the pawn.
It was count. Wait, he simply missed.
Take, take, and knight c6.
Did he just see what he might be thinking of?
No, this is hanging. Maybe queen a6 he saw. And what?
Ah, rook d8. No, you just take. What happens?
No, takes knight. Yeah.
Oh yeah, this should be winning. You know, actually black has a good move here.
Queen e6. Defends everything.
I think he missed Queen e6, maybe.
Rook c1 and Knight c7.
Yes, and a draw, guys. Arjun Erigaisi on the verge of victory. Just very simple move he had to find, which was simply take here instead of moving the queen. Take on d8 with a check, rook takes, and bring the queen in. And he would have won the game. It is plus six.
Oh no, that is such a heartbreak even for him because he played beautiful middle game.
And he takes Queen a six and now it's on the board. Yes, it's on the board and Abdus Salimov. It's the only move, right?
Wow, this is unexpected. But okay, what happens? So if India, India wins, right? And I think it probably wins as well.
Yes, so tomorrow India will be 1 point behind them, and if Uzbekistan win tomorrow, they are the champion. But if they lose tomorrow and India win tomorrow, then India gets a chance. But Uzbekistan has played everyone. Yeah, they played China, they played USA, they played India, Germany. So actually the Netherlands or yeah Netherlands or maybe they might play Uzbekistan too again like it's possible. Interesting. Okay, going back to the women's board because guys let's quickly keep our eye on what's happening here between Vantika and Lumiao.
Ah, she played a4, a5, taking some space, but this can be a weakness later on.
a5 could become weak, right?
Yeah, the problem is Black doesn't have so much space, right?
Also, since Bishop Black c4, I'm always worried about, and Vantika is only Two and a half minutes here for thirteen moves. It can get very nasty here.
You know what we can do? Maybe rook d seven, queen e eight, and move the queen to a four. Try to get the queen to a four. Oh nice! Nice! But that's it feels too long somehow.
No, but then she can win my a five pawn. And you've given us hope how Vantika can convert this. Wow! I you. Enjoying coding here in ChessBase. How is it?
Yeah, I enjoy it immensely. You know, it's two of my passions, programming and chess, become together. It's like, you know, and the atmosphere here is fantastic.
So, ah, it's a great experience. Wow. Do you know Vidit Gujarati is also live coding now?
Yeah, I heard. I actually even— I think I tried his app at some point. I don't know, how is it going?
I think he's like one of the, uh, chess players who has the best knowledge in AI right now. So he has a lot of things that he's worked upon. Some are private, some are— he's publicly put out. So I think he might build something really amazing in the days to come. Like, he just knows a lot. And he loves it, so all the time he is working on it.
Now it's the golden age for him.
Yeah, absolutely. So this is happening, Rook d3, and, uh, quickly heading over to Savita's game. Wow, look at the craziness that happened! Rook d2, Knight b4, Knight e5 played by Savita. Good move. Rook f5, and rook went back. She's playing really well, she's fighting hard. And now needs to find g4.
Oh, it's not an easy move to find.
And why? Okay, why g4? Because if you go to g5, okay, trap.
I think that threat is d3, right? No, yeah, d3 is a threat.
So, but it may be still d3, right? What happens?
Now knight takes d3 and gf5.
I was thinking we have Knight if you rook f2 in the middle, but then knight takes, right? g4.
But for g4, if she's— and what does the engine says? 0.00.
Okay, now we take. This would be—
should we go knight c6? No. Oh no, d3 is coming. But 93 rook g4. So you know what's the best move? H3. Actually, that's too tough. No way, no way. H3, after that make the move and threatening Knight d3, Knight c6.
But what if I go back?
If you make h3, they will take you to fair play.
Oh, but look at this same idea. She played g4, she played g4.
Let's go, Savita!
She has to find—
she played g4, but this is the position.
And is rook before the only move, or maybe she can play h3 first? No, but then d3, right?
So yeah, so it's almost forced, but she hasn't played rook f4. And Zaimo's time is now 3 minutes 7 seconds. Maybe we can go full screen on this, Amruta.
Yep, I would love that.
Try to get the board here.
Guys, Savita has been unbeaten, and can she still continue her streak of—
Rook f4 on the board.
Rook f4 on the board. Let's get that in some time.
Has happened. But h3, if Savita finds, then I think we all have to really bow down.
Well, right now, to Rook f4, you don't play h3 because then there is b3. h3 is possible, but the best move is Rook takes b— it's too tough. It's too tough. And by the way, the news has come that Arjun has drawn.
King g2 played. It's not too bad yet, right?
But what happens on d3?
Just through b3.
b3 is good, I think.
Wow. And the threats remain always the attack. Because if Savita wins by chance, then Vandika can hold that position. But if if she wins, it will be high chance.
Actually, Alec, you haven't got the full dose of Amruta's humor. Maybe today slightly you get it, and you may stop talking to us.
No, we have a booth right. For the viewers right across you, it is so fun. It's so great to see you every day doing this fantastic job.
ChessBase 27 is going to release. ChessBase on Mac is going to release.
We have some great products coming.
So ChessBase 27 is also coming in November? Yes.
And one of the amazing features is going to be that you can open ChessBase and you can do the coaching. Like camera. Have you seen it? I saw it and I was like, whoa, okay, this is the USP.
Wow, love to know more about it. And you know, uh, if you could tell us once we surpass the time pressure, just to go to Niall's game.
And yeah, what is— what do you want to hear from him?
No, after— no, we—
I just want to finish the, uh Strong it is, right?
And for example, if you want to drive it with Rook e4, I think there is Knight c6, right?
And maybe taking the pawn, right?
Oh, just take. Yes.
So actually, Savita is threatening this.
Not sure.
No, she's not threatening because take and rook. Oh, but there is also some rook stuff. Oh, g5! What a move by Zaimo! Amazing move, defending the rook here.
Just one minute. Very good move, best engine move, and I did not think she will find it. And the best engine move for Savita is h3 right now, which makes sense now. h3 makes sense, yes.
Can you see Savita, how relaxed she is?
Sagar Prag is winning.
Okay.
Do you?
Is that a new thing? I want to focus on this match. This is the gold medal match.
And Nihal won. Nihal won.
Let's go.
Okay, okay, sure.
This is the one.
So this clinches the match, right?
Actually, one and half half. But Bhukesh is winning, so he will be two and half. And Nihal, by the way, guys, had a tough last three rounds. Lost two, lost two in a row, and then yesterday was losing but held it against Frederick Swana, and now today makes a comeback victory.
Apparently King Chitra is not a good.
I should think for three minutes. Then I.
You want to see Prag's win? Yeah. Okay. Let's go to Prag because Prag was.
No, he was not winning. You remember he was. Yeah, he was not winning.
He was not winning. He played H five.
So here he played this take. He opened the H file.
G file. Oh wait, blunder!
Should have taken with that.
Why is it a blunder? I have no idea.
Ah, rook comes to g4 and h4 is loose. He's lost. Queen g6. No, queen g6 mate.
g6, but rook g2.
Endgame is winning.
Endgame is How is that? Sorry. No, no.
Oh, f five. Well, oh then c six, c five, six one.
You have to show it.
And no move. And take this. Like king goes back. Take this and d five. And Prag wins the pawn endgame. It's so beautiful.
He finds it. Wow! So we are at this point looking at three and a half, half if everything goes well, guys.
Because Arjun was winning, but then he drew, and Prag who was equal has won. So it's kind of compensated. Nice.
Okay, Savita's game. We can go with it.
Yeah, let's go. So okay, so she plays. King g3. Keeping g7 is a mistake, right? Aha, yes. Maybe something better here was going back, but it's too tough. So she played a decent move, h4. And now if Zaimo finds King f6, then Savita is lost. But she plays h6. Oh, she's back! Oh, oh, h5 with the idea of Knight g6. That is the key. That is the key move.
Guys, I think she will find it.
So she played it. अरे let's go, Savita. Let's go. Yeah, because her opponent had you know twenty seconds to play king f six.
What a good move! Savita is right now playing so well.
Actually, black only has the only move here that cannot be worse.
Worse. Rook e eight. Okay. Suddenly the tide has turned. Two more moves to move forty. And Zaimo has what?
Thirty-seven seconds. And you know, if Zaimo actually loses the pawn, which could be a hero or zero as we say, then A7 is going to be very weak and Savita will win. So you know, I had predicted long back Savita will win, Sagar. She played Rook F6.
Yes, your prediction, Amruta, always right.
Not always, but here it could be.
She played Rook F6. Could be an error. Now because there is but knight d3 the problem is after take take f2 hangs so maybe you need to make this little move backwards but before a rook नहीं रूपी फोर भी नहीं आ रहा है ना रूपी फोर bishop before difficult move हाँ मुरुता is suggesting can we sack the exchange and take this bishop c5 great suggestion bishop c5 b4 like earlier it was happening and then go for knight c6 Nice, but okay, this this is falling with a check. But this is a good idea to take take and rook d three. I think white would have domination.
Yeah, like Nimzowitsch should tell it right with the knights.
But if there is something better for Savita, then maybe she should find it.
I think this is I think this is fun. Rook a three is a very engine-like move. I don't think she will make it, but before looks good.
Good thing is Samita has more time on the clock. Very quick glimpse of what Vantika is doing. She's holding her own. She's holding here. As long as Vantika holds this, it's like such a tense match. Wow! Oh, Harshit, are you okay? Guys, Harshit was almost removed his band-aid but got another one. But now it's fine. Now he's fine. My Savita is better. My Savita is fighting.
But how? Did you see anything?
Because it's going.
Yeah, Javokir and Madamino both came and both won.
Both punched their opponents, you know, played so well.
I tell you, what's the move for Savita now?
Savita, Amruta suggested take, take, and Rook d3.
Oh, I love this. Yeah, I love this. Because the knight is gonna come into C6. Amruta, take that knight, chop it. Right, such a beautiful move to make, right? And if Vantika is gonna hold, if Savita wins, bye, just like yesterday we cry from the dead.
Yes. Oh, Bhupesh mistake.
But in open we are winning, guys, don't worry.
Yeah, Prag is winning clearly and Nihal won, right?
So Prague is gonna win.
Prague is winning.
No, no, but come back, come back to the Savita, Savita.
Savita, I, I do move for Daimo. I feel B3 is like this nerves of steel, yeah, to make the move.
Yeah, because but look at this, but look at this knight.
This is beautiful. This knight cannot be moved away. Bishop can't go here. Knight will take it. Bishop can't go here. This knight cannot move because this hangs.
I see sixteen thousand people watching, Avruth. I think they are going to see this comeback.
I know, and Savita playing like a Mozart against Mozart. Oh!
The Mozart making a calm move there.
She can only play for the king, right, guys?
I think this is the last chance to just chop the knight on.
What do you think? Yeah, but I think Savita doesn't want to give up material.
Yeah, maybe she wants to get to the 40th move without making. So maybe f3 now. Is f3? Ah, f3. No, you cannot. No, it's a good move. No, bishop e3. You cannot move. A bit scary actually.
Okay, bishop e3 and bishop f4 is also fine. And then you will have. Yeah, it's just. No, no, no f3.
No f3. You know.
She also has to make a move.
And what about Vantika, by the way? Equal.
9 seconds equal. Did they make the time control?
Not yet.
I think Vantika, for her, time is not an issue.
Yeah, Vantika has more time on the clock. Super Chat. Anything can happen here.
Both the boards, uh, Alec, from your Experience any thoughts what will happen?
I think well, I think it's easier to play with white than black, especially if she finds the move to to take on before. I think she will win, and it would be positional masterpiece.
So so what you are saying is after take take, black doesn't have much counterplay, right?
Look at this. She doesn't have moves. The rook cannot leave, cannot move. Neither bishop has only two moves. Yeah, f three just.
And then we can play f three. Total domination.
I don't know if Savita would go for this or being the fortyth move, but she is capable of making. And she looks at the score sheet. She's like, "Yeah, I have to make the fortyth move." Yeah, take it.
But the thing is, after takes takes rook b three bishop e one.
Oh, she played a card now. She played king g two.
Ah, okay.
Maybe she's she saw that. Maybe she didn't like it. But actually, but it's actually she's preparing to play take now.
And now she's preparing to take on b four. And Zaimo needs to play rook g seven.
But what is the point of? What is the point? No.
Just to get out of the like knight c six idea.
To make a move. Yeah. But why not king g seven?
Because then takes and this knight c six idea is just nasty.
Look at this.
Look at this. No no no. Look at this. This is plus four, guys.
Let's see. Let's look at what Zaimo is going to play now. Eight, seven, six, five. The score sheet. She played a mookie. Played king G seven.
She played it winning. She played it.
Oh my God! She blundered. Let's go.
Yeah. Why? Savita Shri is going to be eight and half out of nine. Let her, let her take on this. She has forty. She has now thirty minutes.
Yeah, now she will use and she has to use time. Oh my God!
We've got to win.
But we can beat China means that. Yeah, and what about one ticka?
Just final two moves before time trouble.
She was losing.
She's in trouble.
She was losing. No, no, no. Actually, that was the bar that went up from one Savita's board. The bar, yeah.
The bar was losing it. Hi, Katie.
Lots of stress happening. Join us, guys.
It's a watch party here. Katie joining in.
Great, great.
We are watching India versus China for the gold medal match. This is GM Alec Gershon.
We know each other.
Yes, we know each other. And India, it was one-one. Board one and two drew. Savita was minus, but from that on 40th move, Zaimo blundered, and now Savita is winning.
Savita is doing all the time the same things. Yeah, she's a fighter. She's a fighter. So just Vivek says, "Say we." Look at this beauty.
This is a professional masterpiece.
So so look at this move, Katty. It's in your spirit. Take, take, and knights are dominating completely.
I've never seen this actually, this, this position like this where you're down an exchange. Yeah, but you're just positionally crushing.
Yeah, it's too good. Nimzowitsch couldn't have dreamed of it even, you know.
If Nimzowitsch was alive, he would have added it in my system. Yes, guys. Do you think like black should take it? No. Why? Ah, because f5 and then f7. Queen b4. Queen b4.
That's the idea. I want to play that, right? So this is the idea.
What?
Then try to start to attack on the queen. To attack the queen like something like, uh, rook d5. But how about King a1 and c5? To be honest.
Sorry, King a4, Queen b4, King a4, c5.
Nice. So I guess White will very likely just trade the queens, right?
I think she—
No, but if you trade, you lose the pawn.
And actually, you know, Lumia will see in the next board and she might look— she's looking there, she's seeing and she's like, okay, what should I do? Should I take a draw?
What? What happened?
Oh, she played it so quickly.
Okay, but still the chance is there because black is not yet sure what to do.
No, but now she has 30 minutes. Savita had to take and somehow she didn't believe in this exchange sacrifice. But I thought she will take time over here.
Why did she not think?
The pain was 44.
Can you explain to our viewers what happens on move 41?
What happens? A lot of things happen, mostly not good things, right? So you have this pressure, the time pressure, you're full of adrenaline, then the adrenaline goes down, and if you don't go away and you refresh and you— and she stayed at the board, you have this tendency to make this impulsive move and A lot of mistakes happen.
Yeah, very interesting.
You have to get up, you have to try, you have some pressure. I noticed there was a period of my chess career where I was losing the games 39 or 40 or 41. Wow, it was, it was crazy. I wouldn't lose before, I wouldn't lose after. There will be like a draw or like decisive result in favor, but that was the most blunders I would do, those 3. Yeah, 40th, 41st move mistakes are lesser than 39th and 40th, but they are still very common. So yeah, right. Okay. Oh my goodness, thank you for joining us. Thank you for coming here.
I don't know what is the election done okay congratulations to us all for the yeah finished yes so पीड़े elections are done guys now we can the best excellent yeah by the way guys one thing that we have to mention here is that you see I think many of you know that ChessBase as a software has been used for years by all the top players. But one common complaint, or you can say one common request from everyone, was please bring it on Mac. It was only on Windows, and everyone asked and asked and asked. And we used to always say you can, you know, install Parallels in it, you can maybe do something where you can get Windows on your Mac, and so on. And many people actually chose to have Windows computer even when they wanted to buy Mac, just so that they could prepare using ChessBase. I know a lot of people, in fact top players, have done that.
Including us.
And now that all is going to change because ChessBase is coming on Mac this November, and a lot of credit goes to Alik, because I think if you could just tell our viewers that how difficult was it to make this happen, or how easy was it, just maybe your thoughts.
First of all, small correction, none of the credit goes to me. It's all to the team, to the guys who really are doing a great job. We're in the final steps of polishing it. We will soon release a better version. We will be happy if you help us test the better version.
Of course.
And in November, there will be a good, a great release. But you know, funny story. So we are telling people that finally ChatSpace is on Mac. And what the people are asking, and when, so if we are now on Mac, when is the Linux version coming? So, okay, no Linux version for now, but the Mac is coming and we, it will have a Mac-native look. It's a more intuitive UI, which is something that our customers also sometimes tell us, okay, we want a simpler program. So yeah, that's extremely exciting. We've been working on it for more than, more than a year.
Wow.
And hopefully to the delight of everybody. Of course, the ChessBase for Windows will remain. So it will continue.
It is ChessBase 26 now, so ChessBase 27 will come earlier. It was every 2 years, now it may happen every year.
Absolutely, we will do that. I will not reveal yet what, what the content of ChessBase 27 will be, but since you have already—
nobody knows. It's great, people will be excited.
Yes, so there is a lot of, a lot to look forward in it. And especially one of the features that we have already shown here is, I think it's a good— it's in a way revolutionary for our coaches who teach. So you don't need to leave ChessBase anymore to other platforms.
So you don't need a Zoom or something?
You don't need a Zoom.
You have it all But, uh, thank you, Alec, for sharing this and also, uh, you know, coming into the ChessBase, uh, you know, team. I think it was recently that you joined in.
How long has it been?
I joined, yeah, I joined the full-time mode from this August actually. And for me, you know, I, I've been a ChessBase I was a customer since I was 12, I think. So it's— I will not reveal how many years that has been.
Maybe one of the earliest versions, yeah, of ChessBase.
It was, yeah, it was 1993, so it was still, you know, like with the diskettes. And to see all the way the company has gone, and I was actually, I was amazed when I learned how few people work in ChessBase.
Yes, I think only 22 people are there.
It's a very small team, a very talented and capable team, and really it's an honor to train with them.
Amazing, guys. We've been here, I've met Alec for like couple of days, and he's always at the stall talking to people, teaching them things. And I'm glad that you could join us and we could analyze some of the most exciting moments of this round together.
Thank you for having me.
Thank you for coming here, Alec, and Hope to see you soon again. Thank you.
Thank you. Bye. Bye.
And I hope, I hope, well, we hope that Savita manages to kind of trick her opponent again. Knight d5.
Yeah, now the chance went away, right? The knight went away.
Just imagine if she took on b4, this would go into all the books.
But yeah, the question, if Rook b3, our opponent might be threatening Knight f4. Maybe then we can take on F4.
Oh nice, nice! Some hope is there. Thank you, thank you, Alec. Grandmaster, author, you know, and now the CTO of ChessBase joining us, having a great time here analyzing. And Harshit bhai, if you know, every time You know what you say has happened here. Just Amrut, I want to show that moment. Can I show?
Okay, okay. And guys, forty minutes are done. So time for a chewing gum.
Sorry. So I was saying, Harshit bhai, that when when the morning comes, you mention always that oh, the night went away. And that is how Savita for Savita it has happened. The night went away, guys.
मेरे साथ ऐसा होता है the night that passed but the morning which never came.
Oh, oh!
The night is wrong.
I am still processing. Okay, guys. India still has a chance. Yeah. I hope. My what? सविता को सच में like she's such a fighter because I thought she would lose that after a pawn blunder but she made such such good moves actually guys you know you might be a bit upset that सविता did not take on b four but you know just spare a thought हर्षित भाई look at her moves okay first she goes knight b five rook e two good move now she finds rook d two good move Then she finds knight e five good move. Then she plays rook e two good move. g four she finds. She finds king g two not a bad move at all. Plays rook d two only move. King g three here she gets into a tough position but finds h five. And you know she found a series of amazing moves to actually put her opponent in trouble.
I think she'll win.
I think she will win after rook d three very likely her opponent will consider knight to f But here, Zagar, you have to point it out also for Zaimu that she did miss the move King f6.
Oh my God!
Which was clearly winning, which was the simplest threat to kick the knight away.
What? King f2 just wins on the— oh my God! What a miss! It traps the knight.
Yeah, yeah. And she just missed it. And it was not difficult, but she had 30 seconds.
Knight takes d3. Oh, knight takes d3 and the rook on a4 is hanging.
And we have Aniruddha Devarakonda. Thank you so much, bhai, for sending a super chat.
So Savita is likely doing well. Mukesh is, by the way, the only board going on.
No no no no We didn't see only Mukesh is there.
He's winning. Mukesh is completely winning.
But how are the moves to the— from Queen d6 side. Since a long time we have not seen.
Guys, we are just in the final moments.
We thought of Queen e7, not of today, but the entire Olympiad.
Here we are in the penultimate round. The Indian women's team is trying to still fight for the gold medal. The Indian men's team trying for the silver medal because the Uzbek team won. And I think this This win against Uzbekistan too will be a step in the right direction. Mukesh is winning, Nihal already won, and the women's team still playing. The score is 1-1 there.
Like, Mukesh showed great skills in complicated position. He didn't let the win slip by.
Yeah, no, I think Mukesh too was such a classy move. Like, it was subtle. Just to make the square for the knight to f1. Very tricky. That was a classy move. Very tricky. Rook f2.
Okay guys, Bhukesh will win. Prag, do you think is facing some difficulties or you think he will also win?
He'll win for sure.
Yeah, Prag will win this for sure. But wait, we've already won the match. Yeah, we've won the match.
No, it's 1.5, but Bhukesh is winning, so it's over.
So we are going to win 3.5, guys.
I think the Women's section is much more crucial for us. I think let's focus there.
नहीं नहीं, but we had when the position is equal and something changes that is why we had to see that. Guys can you hear the song? Oh my god!
I'm a bit stressed but guys one big news Uzbekistan actually is two nil up in the open Uzbekistan one team we are facing the number two team. What the hell? Only person who is pushing is But it's still a three one.
So, so it means Uzbekistan as much gold is almost fixed.
As much as I would like India to win the gold in open, I think Uzbekistan just deserves it. They beat USA, they beat India, they beat China. They are now crushing Armenia. They have just beaten all the top players, the top teams. That's what the people see Germany से हारे and you know the kind of of spirit they have.
I'll tell you one incident from yesterday. Many of you must have seen it in short, that Javokir lost and he has all the reasons to be upset. But then Yakubov won his game very importantly against Hans, and then Javokir came from behind, hugged Yakubov, and gave a smile. And this shows that it's much more important than their individual result how their team is doing. And I think this quality of not You know, just thinking of your own game, but the team is one of the reasons why the Uzbeki team is doing so well here.
Agreed, actually. But at the end of it, I think all these players understand that it's nothing to do with the individual game, team game. If they don't have this unity, it's very hard.
And let's see if Vanti can do it. Can do it. She has been performing very well besides Savita.
By the way, one small thing to tell our people is even if Uzbekistan won Team won today, and India wins today. It's not like Uzbekistan's gold is confirmed because they are only one match point ahead. So tomorrow, if by chance some accident happens and they lose, India can still win the gold.
If they lose and we win, and we win.
Gold medal is not gone away.
Which is amazing that until the last day, the chance of gold medal objectively is always there.
Wow! And generally, when you are so close to the gold medal, it's not so easy to maintain the same amount of accuracy in your game. So it will be very interesting to see whether the Uzbeki team are ready for tomorrow's challenge of just holding. And a two-two draw would also mean that they win the match.
Yeah. By the way, we have a question by Jeswin Lobo, who says, "What happened about the giveaway of Neurogum?" So In every video that we have done a giveaway, every round, either on the recap or live stream, we have selected ten winners and sent them a link to fill in the form. Most of them have filled it, and we have sent it to Neuro, and they will be shipping that to you. So you will get it in a few days. So it is all under process, and we are doing it. So big, big shout out to Neuro for those giveaways.
So for this stream also, they have. To comment after the stream is over.
Yeah, I mean we will tell them exactly what to write about about and then they can comment. Okay. So yeah, that is what we would be letting you know. By the way, Bishop C six she goes back. By ये वाला game में अगर hold भी हो जाए, hold होगा ही होगा तो बहुत सही होगा and then यहाँ पे by Savita Shri I I don't know if she will be able to Spot this rook takes d3 idea.
And इसमें show knight f4 rook f4 one a bit more.
So guys, it's all about sacrificing your rook for the knight. And if you take here, I think there's also knight g6. So you take with the pawn and just b4 here. And now your favorite move, Ambuda. b4.
And knight c six hitting the rook on e seven and the bishop on b four is just crushing.
Savita can still win. There are elements in the position that can give her the win.
And she's completely locked in. Look, she's not making her forty second move very quickly. She did have a win here, by the way, for everyone watching on the forty first move to just take the knight on b four. She missed it. She plays f And now, Amrut, after knight d5, she has a chance to put a lot of pressure again on Zaimo by playing rook takes d3.
Yeah, this is very complicated, and I think it matters if Zaimo saw the idea later, and that's why she took the knight away. But what now? Not go for knight f4.
But if you don't play knight f4, what do you play?
Okay, I want the rook to be active, so the e7 rook, I would like it. To be on an open file, so Rook e eight.
But the thing is, once you move the rook, this pawn falls. Correct. I can't do that. And Knight c six is also a threat.
Both the knights have nicely stopped that. Actually, what is the move?
Can I go? Yeah, the best move here. The only move is Rook to f four, Amruta.
Actually, I was going to mention that. So it is possible to find that.
And now Rook takes d five is not so good because after a d five. Amruta to hit the king and the rook. So king g3, I'll still look at. That's also a great move. King g3 is also a great move, Amruta. So the only thing that Savita needs to do is find this move rook takes d3.
And if she doesn't go for rook d3, like let's say if I play knight takes d3, that's losing, Amruta, because now rook To d7.
That's actually a very good question that you mentioned, because if she makes the logical move knight d3 after rook d7, and knight e5 again. If knight e5, this nasty check, and you lose the rook on d2, and black is winning. So king oh no! She plays king h1. Aha! That is a fine move. That's actually a good move, guys. Wow! King h1 is actually a great move by Savita.
Okay, what if Rook f4 with the same idea? That's again the only move. And Knight f4 also this time blunder.
If you play King h7, the waiting move, Rook takes d3, and White has a big advantage. So the only move for Zaimo is Rook to f4. Only move? Yes. And after Rook takes d3, again she needs to make some difficult moves here. So actually King h1 is not at all a bad try by Savita.
That is very difficult move which she found on the board. Well done, Savita! And I think Mohai most likely would not have predicted this move. It's a for her it's a surprise for sure, which definitely helps you know because they she will also have to use a lot of time over here. And I love what Savita is doing. Sagar, I mean she's just a hero over here. Whatever happens.
And her opponent played King h7.
Oh yeah, no, no, no, she's thinking King h1 is the live position. The only move is Rook to f4.
By Rook f4 is doable move, I feel, because okay Knight f4, Knight c6 is also coming in.
There are so many threats. Rook f4 is not easy.
By the way, one small question to our to for my mind was. What would have happened if I would have played knight c six here?
Same, no rook d seven.
Knight e three check was the threat. King h one and somehow rook d seven defending this and then trying for maybe knight f one d something.
So you asked a similar question which I asked like knight takes d three and then can you believe after knight d three over here? Rook d7 is just simply like you get out of the problems.
This is very reminiscent yesterday of Prag Vincent where he played Queen d1.
Queen e1.
Queen d1, remember? Queen d1, yes. Queen d1, exactly. Just pinning. Yeah, it's like you, you make a kind of set up a pin. Very nice, very nice move, very subtle move. And Savita kind of surpassed it, like did not fall for it. And by the way, we have a Help Chess contributor Shravanti Yadagiri. Thank you so much. Wow! Oh, she Shravanti, yeah? The one. Wow, Shravanti. Thank you so much.
We have met her at many tournaments. Also, we have a question that what about LinkedIn premium for Help Chess donors? How to claim that? That would be.
So we are going to send them to two selected winners from day before. yesterday and today, 6 in all, because he was going to give only 1, but he said, I'll give you 6 and you can distribute it 2-2-2. That is Kumaresh, who had joined us, the head of LinkedIn, uh, India, and he's a very passionate chess lover. And what a great gesture.
An online rating of 2600.
No, he's good. I mean, there were certain variations which I analyzed with Kumaresh, and I could tell that he is sharp.
By the way, we have Prag who has. Who is winning? He's winning here, guys. There you see Pragnananda and Gukesh. Generally, Prag and Gukesh end the kill day. One and four.
Agreed.
Somehow, one thing to note is, guys, India, we, we did see Nihal going for 2 losses and 1 draw from, you know, all of that. But I personally think, Harshit bhai, that Arjun really squandered many amazing positions. Like yesterday with Bluebaum, today like +6 position. Like he never would do that. It was +6 Six, and it was like I mean he's lefty, so maybe he's sorry. Yeah. Can I see this? So the thing is, भाई he played. You saw these moves, right? Queen b two and stuff. He played so well.
Meaning समझा था? Thanks chess crazy.
Thank you, Sanatan भाई. So he's totally winning now. Knight c six. And all that he has to do, Arshid bhai, is take here, take here, and here, and it's game over. Because next move you have c pawn, here knight. Oh my God, it's over! So instead of doing that, he plays queen a5, and suddenly take, take. He thought, oh, I have queen a6 and I win, but he missed queen e6 and it's equal. What? Yeah, it's It's insane miss actually. Mrudil Sharma, thank you for your contribution to help chess.
Well, thanks for showing to me because I was under the impression that you know black defended well, but it was actually Arjun who just completely yeah he botched it up.
And you know I feel sad whenever you played such an amazing game only to make a mistake in the final moment.
Yeah, but I mean for someone like of Arjun's caliber, this this is for sure going to no that's what I'm saying like this tournament.
Arjun has missed so many chances, which is so uncharacteristic of him.
Like, but let's not forget that he's missed, but he's like not lost.
He didn't lose.
Yeah, but like losing half a point is a is a big deal. You know, even yesterday actually.
Oh, by the way, Mukesh won. Mukesh won. Let's go. So India beat Uzbekistan two. Someone told me that in our title of our stream, it is. Written wrong that India versus Uzbekistan, so we have to fix it. It should be Uzbekistan too.
Ashok has Ashok Balakrishnan superchatted fifteen dollars for the best trio in the chess commentary. Add Tanya and it's a complete dream team. You have kept chess so interesting and entertaining to fans around the world.
Don't stop. Thank you, bye. Thank you. So sweet. And guys, Tanya is someone whom we deeply admire and is our very close friend. She's commentating on Chess 24 India, Chess 24, and I think yeah, these two channels she does it. I think few rounds there, few rounds there. So please do check it out.
Always fun with Tanya around. Yeah, brings in a very nice energy. And talking about energy, we are getting some nice energy as the Indian Open team has won. Hi, let's go! Wow!
So actually today is No matter what the Uzbekistan form, नहीं अगर three we are beating with three and half half. It's incredible. That's very good.
Zaimon played her move. What is it? She played didn't play rook f four.
She played knight b four.
Once again.
भाई भाई अभी opportunity knocks the door twice guys.
No way.
She will take it.
I feel it. I'm surprised because I thought Jaimo took the knight behind to defy earlier because she saw this, which means she it was just by fluke that she got knighted. Yeah.
And Amruta, this means that the Indian women's team can make an upset.
Can can. But भाई मुझे ऐसा लगता है when you don't take once, no? That move is not on your radar only. Anubhav Ghosh, thank you for making the sport I used to play after college a decade ago under Gariyat Blizz. जाओ next time in Kolkata. It's a beautiful under the bridge chess club. Everyone should go there.
Guys, fifteen thousand of you watching. Savita Shri can win this game if she finds Rukte. भाई but think about it.
Savita Shri the energy making her debut in the Chess Olympiad and facing Like great players and winning game after game, and now she has the possibility of why? But she's not looking there. You know what she will do? She will take on d3. भाई this is the simplest move knight d3 knight d3 rook d3 and she's winning. But knight d3 knight d3 को bishop e3 if you go rook d1 Knight d3, rook d3, and now rook f3. So I think.
Rook e4, rook f1 check.
Savita she looks at the score sheet.
If Savita takes on b4, I will be.
देखा अभी now I feel she has seen it. Come on. She looked away and she looked at the score sheet. Please go right here. Repeat no. Savita repetition king g to ninety five
These are the kind of She's getting excited while going towards the podium. Takes b4. Hi, this is the move she played.
King g2. She did not repetition because she looked at the score sheet, which means she was calculating. Good, good call, Amrita.
Good call, man.
I think she's happy with the draw. Don't draw because Savita cannot draw this position. But maybe she's thinking, yeah, that she's worse.
That is also possible. And then she's thinking a draw with China tomorrow, still there is a chance of gold if China— if somebody beats China.
I think, you know, what happened was, Amruta and Sagar bhai, in the beginning she was losing. So her mindset perhaps was that if I draw this game, that's a good result for me. And I think that's why she was also looking at the score sheet and seeing how many times the position has been repeated. Because perhaps she feels that draw is a good result.
I don't know because she was generally not that kind of a player. Like generally she was able to convert the positions. But here I think she, as Sagar mentioned, rugby for rugby for For some reason she is missing it. I am sure there is a good practical reason she has. In the meantime, Vantika is holding the fort over here.
Bye, Vantika draw कर लो। ये देखो अमृता, it's a draw on Vantika board.
By the way, ninety-five back by eight minutes. Eight minutes.
Ninety-five back. So so the thing is, by look at Vantika again.
I think it's just by Sorry, they are repeating. There is no chance.
She's going to repeat. She's going to repeat. Oh boy! Vantika. But the thing is, she sees Savita. She sees that Vantika is going to draw. So Savita has to try because if we draw. No, how is it okay? You have— you can even lose now because draw is— no, but maybe you get silver medal.
And the thing is, like, just think about it from Savita's perspective. She was down a pawn with no compensation, completely losing. Of course, her whole match strategy during that point was to draw the game, to just hold the game. I don't think she was considering that she can even win.
Yeah, yeah. Shakil is saying taking knight is giving up material. She was already losing.
Savita, Savita, another chance. Don't, don't make one.
अरे बॉडी लैंग्वेज ही देखो अरे मत ये लो किंग जी तू खेलने ही वाली है क्योंकि she set up her mind for that just imagine if she takes it now one last opportunity for her can she do it think think think before is difficult no she's not making a draw of course she's making a draw she's not she's looking towards she was seeing what her opponent wanted But she's not seen rook before. She will not give an opportunity to her.
Come on, Savita. Savita Shree. Rook takes b4. No, she's about to move the rook.
Rook d1. But that's a blunder.
That's a bad move. No, no, no, no. Then take a draw.
she's fighting on but at least it's not it's not a draw she's fighting on it's surprising that both of them have missed the idea bye I think it's good it's not a draw game goes on अमृता yeah game goes on let's see more chance will come now ninety five is not possible anymore because rook d three takes d three correct and now rook f four once rook f four is the very playable move now बिकॉज़ रुके फोर किंग एफ सिक्स बट रुके फोर इस टफ यार बिकॉज़ नाइट जी सिक्स मर रहा है हाँ नाइट जी सिक्स राइट राइट राइट नहीं खेलेगा नहीं खेलेगा नहीं खेलेगी गुड पॉइंट रुके फेड भी टफ है नो रुके फेड आइडिया रुकड़ी है नहीं नाइट जी सिक्स यार हाँ तो किंग एफ सेवन के लिए क भाई किंग एट सेवन में अब क्यों नहीं चल रहा है ये? ओके, but still this is positionally very good right? I think she'll win this full.
Then at least a draw is better right?
But what if किंग एट सेवन नाइट डी थ्री? Does that work? Pin.
According to the chat, Rook b4 is a very difficult move. Engines say it is easy. Okay guys, it's like a concept.
No, think about it. Like, take, take, Rook d3. I don't know. I mean, once you see it, you can't unsee it because this rook is dominated by this knight and this knight is dominating the bishop. So this she will see. It's only about considering what Like if you consider it, you play. But I guess maybe she didn't even consider it very serious.
I think she considered this. What I think she did not consider is B four.
Yeah, but even King G two, just like it's just positionally winning.
Then assessment is the tougher part.
By the way, Uzbekistan in the open section defeated China. China? China in the open section.
नहीं लुक मतलब क्या बोल रहा हूँ यूक्रेन डिफीटेड चाइना यूक्रेन यूक्रेन not वो पे यूक्रेन डिफीटेड चाइना yeah oh sorry did I say sorry sorry वही को हराया गया इवांचुक ब्रूनो no डिंगलेरन बेट कोवालेंको sorry कोवालेंको बीट डिंगलेरन what they won three one and दैत्यारो won on the last board against wow pong so यूक्रेन sorry my bad यूक्रेन बीट चाइना Yes, it's a big upset.
Very big upset because China doesn't lose so easily. Oh my God!
I think we have played well. In fact, getting silver is not bad here.
Not at all.
And then what is happening between France and Germany?
So Frederic Swann is winning as usual.
And Rasmus
And back row also zero.
So they want their win. Can we can we stick with Savita now? Yes yes yes. Let's go guys. Guys also the match is so well poised because I think Vantika is going to drop. There is no other move you have.
I got only move, na?
I mean, maro, maro, maro, maro, maro, maro. And maybe one thing I is a bit worried about this position.
But the white king comes to e five.
Let's say b four, b five. Once again.
But we can put our king on e seven, right?
And then b four, b five, c six.
Why this is a bit scary? हाँ, it is for me also.
King e7, King e5. Why you can lose this? b4, b5, c6 and white gets a passed pawn. Yeah. What is the move?
Oh look at one, look at Savita. She's looking up. Guys the two youngest players of Indian team have to kill it today.
Yeah so okay. Zaimo is thinking but can we analyze Vantika's game because Too strong.
Nodirbek doesn't lose to anyone.
No, no, doesn't. He wins only.
Fabi he beat. Today also he won.
Chaukhi lost. I don't think Nodirbek lost.
One game he has lost here, I think. But yeah, he's too good.
Samlip Kulkarani, thank you so much. He says he likes my jokes.
Of course, yeah.
Rook endgame and he is winning. We saw Queen g4, he won one pawn over here and now simply is a pawn up. Matter of technique now, endgame technique over here.
By the way, Arshid Pai wants to analyze this endgame, Amruta. Can we do it? Yeah, this very interesting endgame. Not this, this is winning. Yeah, this one. Yeah.
Guys, I think this is tough. This is one thing.
So the thing is, guys, the analysis is take.
Wait one second, we don't have to take, right? What if Rook e8? Oh wow, this is really bad. But this is not easy to understand because if you take, take, it feels lost to me because of this plan, right?
But maybe what white—
black can do is just go Bishop, let's say, d7. King c3, king c8, king d4, king d8, and just play c6 next.
King e5, king e7. Why? Insane move!
What? What is that?
No way!
By the way, rook takes d3 played. So the idea for black is maybe takes takes go bishop g2 and c6. If black gets to play c six, then it's a draw. C six. If we get this, then we are very happy. Oh, but king e five. We have to allow this. But okay, I think it's possible to see this king f six, king eight.
It's scary though. It's scary.
Very accurate.
No, no, no.
I completely agree. Plus sometimes bishop g like some sack. I mean bishop for three pawns. That is also possible. I am absolutely with you that this is scary.
भाई वेट करो कुछ नहीं हो रहा है वेट करो हाँ but it's scary वेट करते हैं bishop g six वगैरह you need to look think about these sacrifices right okay come on one tika तो I believe one tika come on you can hold it and then savita needs to strike here that's how we India can have chance prabhjot meanwhile has contributed two thousand five hundred on health chess as a new believer. Thank you so much, Prabhjot bhai.
Guys, we'll stay on this board only whenever you feel that the game is getting over. I'll show you the video.
2 boards remaining in the women's section. The score is 1-1. For everyone joining in, China is currently leading the overall tournament. India is trailing them by two points. If we win this, we catch them. We catch them and we are ahead in direct encounter. And by the way, Vantika took on D three. Bishop takes D three played. There are some moves happening on that board as we switch towards it, and rook to E eight has been played.
Well, I think it was natural for her to feel the stress.
Same. I think practically you feel it.
Oh, her opponent also Lumia will not draw both वंतिका सविता plus Lumia with Zaimo बोथ आर लाइक मैच चल रहा है भाई देखो देखो क्या कर रहा है एक बार सविता विनिंग एक बार लूम मियावी विनिंग उधर बच गए सविता श्री ने भी नहीं किया एडवांटेज कन्वर्ट किसके नसीब में विक्ट्री लिखा है नो वन नोज दिस इज़ द ब्यूटी ऑफ़ वोट वो वांट्स इट मोर वो वांट्स इट मोर आई थिंक Also so similar.
Everybody's rooting for them. Otherwise we could have counted no more Indians.
And she played King c8, or—
no, I'm just saying King c8, b4, it looks terrible.
Yeah, yeah, because the dark squares are completely in white's control.
Space was always a problem.
Very tough.
And what did— there was a move. What did she play? Because Firuja does have like you know this aggressive and dynamic style of play, but somehow he's not so active anymore. But Javokir has just risen up.
But the thing is, there is something about Firuja. He's a very high natural talent, but maybe doesn't work so much on chess. Yeah. While Javokir, I think, is combining talent with work also. So. I think Viruja maybe in couple of years will feel that I need to put in more work and may world. But you remember it happened with Nepo. He used to play a lot of games like these esports games, and then at some point he thought I should focus on chess and he won two candidates.
And also with total world championship and all, it could be very different for him.
Guys, the clock for black is ticking. Zaimo is now down to less than seven minutes.
That's the good news.
And the good sign for Savita, even if she did not find the best move, is that she's keeping the game going.
That is salute. And also guys, you need a lot of energy in such positions. Very close to it. If she plays, this is a draw. What I am suggesting to Savita is, Savita, good or bad, just do this. Just do it and trust in God and play it. Trust in yourself. Trust in yourself. Do it, Savita. I know it's very tough. It's a lot of pressure.
Yeah, because the thing is like Vantika's position although is equal. Is very difficult to defend.
Tell me one thing, okay? When you know the whole team result is dependent, let's say on this game, how much you will be okay to even give up material? Because right now nothing is happening. Yeah, it's a very good. So yeah, you could be the reason because of which whom the team can lose because of this decision.
And you need to take that risk.
Yeah, sometimes take that risk.
And I think difficult.
I think your team has to support you in their previous kick. And then someone can come up and take that risk.
And you know, this can only happen, as you rightly said, based on what has happened in the previous rounds. Yes, in the previous rounds, if you lost but the team still motivated you, you are more confident to make such a decision.
That's a very good point. I think Nihal today, we saw him over here.
In general, it's all about— I guess there are many people who work in teams and work in colleges, offices, and so on. These are all lessons for the team. If your team member goes wrong and you are part of that team, motivate them, you know, just so that next time when such an opportunity comes, they don't back down from taking the initiative. And this is what we need here, that Savita should feel that, okay, I can sack, I can try. If I lose, no one is going to come at me and say, because of you we lost, you know. And I don't think that is the environment there. So please I just hope. By the way, one link is being spammed by our very, very dear mod in the chat, Harsh Kumar. He is putting chessdial.com. Guys, do check it out. It's our newest initiative to connect to list trainers. It's a, it's a website that is there and it's work in progress. Already more than 65 trainers have listed themselves with One Brazilian GM Alexander Fear is also there. So many times you have been asking where to find good trainers, where to find chess style is the answer to it.
Check it out. List yourself there. See, I'm right now occupied, unavailable, unavailable. Yeah, by the way, Sri Lanka Moscow, thank you for your super chat. Then we had another super chat as well.
True. By the way, भाई, भाई जो भी लोग बोल रहे हैं call समय, I have sent him the link. I think he's busy. Yeah.
You want to give that respect to समय?
समय is very respected person भाई। I would also she has played a move which does give white a big advantage oh b five आ रहा है b five is the most natural move also but b five bishop h one oh there is c six क्या no just king c three just slowly but surely white is going to invade on the dark Ah, God, this endgame was—
but this position felt difficult when white had space in the middle game only. All for all those who like—
Well, if Vantika loses, then all the more reason for Savita to win and get that 1 point, not for gold but for silver then.
And then she might risk it, Sagar, Rook b4, because anyway, if you are losing, she sees Vantika is losing, then she is forced to play.
Yeah, yeah, that's a good point. Okay, Savita needs to make a decision right now as we bring on the camera of Pragnananda.
He has won 2 and a half, 1 and a half. But no, no, no. Two and a half, two and a half half. And now Prag is better. But if he goes rook g seven, then it's a draw with f five. So he needs to be very careful. He must play f five takes and something like this, which is tough actually to play this way.
But I think he will find it.
Oh, we had two chess contributors.
Adijit Saha, thank you for contributing on help chess and becoming a believer of Indian chess. And apart from that, we have one more person who has contributed. Kamban. Kamban is eight years old. Kamban, thank you. Arjit Saha, sixty seven.
Let's go. Prabhjot.
Eight year old was so cute.
Bye.
Somehow, Antika needs to hold it. A one. Group back to A one. I think Savita just did not consider this concept. If she played Rook a1, that means that she feels that the rook on a4 was not doing anything, and she comes back with the Rook to a1. She's playing for a win, guys, but oh well.
One second, and maybe Rook c4, maybe at the right time d3 if it is lost.
Without giving f3, but I think Zaimo now has more chances. Yeah, not here, guys. Isn't this working? Oh no, it doesn't work. I was thinking, let's say knight c2, okay, attacking here. And if you go rook c1, I wanted to go knight d4, but then take, take, and knight c6. But knight e3, bishop e3, bishop e3.
So knight c2 is a possible move.
Knight c2 का रुके four is the problem. And Richa Sharma, thank you for your contribution to help chess.
Oh, we can again get that position with knight c2.
रुके four.
Ah, three times.
Three times she went knight before king was on g2. Now king is on h1. So I guess it's not.
Like to tell, can you tell, explain the viewers the photographic draw?
Photographic draw is same position arising three times. Doesn't matter if it goes back to back. So what was when the knight was on B four?
By the way, a move has been played. Rook G seven played by Rook to G seven played by Zaimo.
Yeah, both both players are playing moves which could lead to something breaking in in. If rook a four now she can play rook f four, is it? नहीं भाई रुक अच्छा इसके लिए हाँ she wants check she wants to go rook f four I think Savita will go rook c one भाई it's a it's a given she's not going to put her rook where she was unhappy वो तो नहीं होने वाला है so rook c one rook f four I think very likely take oh take से बाद ये मर रहा है if rook Knight b4, bishop b4. This is complex actually.
Yeah, and what about Vantika? Does he have any— does she have any chances to hold? Ah, looks tough, right?
Vantika's position looks really tough.
b5, bishop g2.
You mean here? Yeah, b5.
King C three and Vishwesh Arya Bandari. Vishwesh Arya, wow!
Thank you for your contribution to help chess.
C six Nikhil Jain also thank you so much for your contribution. Wow! By the way, moves are coming in. King C three played by Bishop trap
We have what's the name?
Can't read it from. We have a message. Asil, Asil.
Thank you, Asil.
Why? Manan, Manan. Bye.
Four years of pillar of Indian chess, Manan. Bye. Oh, she played Rook a four. Oh, she's going for the draw. And look at that. Her opponent is actually looking at the score sheet.
But it's actually a bad move because now rook f8. Oh God!
She's going for the win. She found. She played it.
Rooks had to be. She played it.
She played it. Sarin Roy, thank you for your contribution. But now rook d8 is coming. There's no knight g6 business. Very good play by Zaimo. And guys, we are going to be in trouble here. Savita did not find. Now even if you do this. The problem is, you are a bit too late because now the rook comes in and Even here I would say that kill सकते but नहीं होगा। So the whole thing was you know both of them were trapped.
Savita was okay with the draw which means and actually no Savita was not okay with the draw I think. No, no, she was—
yeah, she just, she misplayed actually. She misplayed badly and now Black managed to trick her with this Rook g7, Rook f8 idea.
Very good idea by Simon.
And the Chinese team, if they win this, might become the winner with a round to spare.
Yeah, no, uh, yeah, most likely because there are teams on 15 points like Kazakhstan and all, but Yeah, like Kazakhstan is playing against France. Both are on 15 points.
Kazakhstan and Mongolia women were also on 15 points. Mongolia, Mongolia. What is their match update?
So right now the match update of Kazakhstan is 1-1 against France, and the Poland versus Mongolia is half with three games going on.
Yeah, but again, we need to at least draw this match, right? But it seems unlikely that we can even draw this.
Yeah, how can we draw? Because she played something. She played King g2.
Yeah, but now Rook d8.
Now the d-pawn is protected. It's tough.
Wait, Rook d8? Why not Rook takes b4?
Sorry, Rook d8, Rook takes b4, Bishop b4.
Okay, so Rook d8 will happen.
But it's tough to see this, ah. She might just hallucinate.
And Rook d5.
She might get worried about some take on a7, so she may not play Rook d8.
Yeah, that is the hope. Yeah, but I— but then if, if not Rook d8, then what? Because your d3 pawn is falling.
Maybe Rook c8, but you lose the d3 pawn, right?
The win is not so clear.
How to win it? Like, do you push c6? Do you take here? Do you bring your rook to g3? It's not so simple. So maybe we don't lose hope on Mantika board. Maybe we keep our hopes on Savita board. Yeah. We keep praying. Knight d5 she played. Hope she played. She played knight d5. No way. Yeah. Is that a mistake? That is a bad.
Move.
By again rook takes d3, she has the chance.
No, because now f3 is protected. Oh no, no, knight f4. But it was happening in a much better scenario.
King h1. I think that is her strategy.
King h1. King h1 then it's now knight b4 again. Draw.
So it's actually we We shouldn't lose hope yet, guys. Rook sixty-three. If she plays, she can actually still win, Savita. True. Prag making mistakes?
No. हो सकता है क्योंकि प्रग का भी endgame was not simple. If we can just quickly check. No, he found it.
Five or not? He found it, guys.
Prag is not making mistakes. He's playing one best move after another.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, guys!
Wow, wow, wow, wow! Guys, main scheme are inching closer. Silver at least, and definitely with some chance of gold.
Outside chance for gold.
Gold is there if tomorrow Uzbekistan win, it's a gold. So I mean lose, because Uzbekistan Ukraine hoga. So it's just like important these match points.
Three and a half half would be very critical huge score.
Let's bring Savita's camera right now because the question is whether she can play this move rook takes d3.
Also, the thing is now ninety-three check is a massive threat.
Actually, G three she played this time.
Not a bad move. Uh huh.
John is expecting an open India versus Hungary, Uzbek versus Ukraine.
Okay. Even USA maybe could be Indians' opponent.
King G three is a good move. Yeah. Because Now there is no, not even a hint of threefold repetition. So Savita is fighting for a win.
Okay, now knight b four. Do you have rook b four again? Yeah, always. No, but because earlier you know with the tactic of knight c six when the rook was on e seven was very important. Now with knight b four, you are saying that doesn't matter.
That's actually the key concept of the entire position to give up our. Exchange for domination of the black rooks.
But you can't just simply take here. The only move would be, you know, this time not taking here, but Knight c6.
That's a nice move, attacking the bishop and the important pawn on a7, because there are pawn on a6 is just two squares away from queening. King g3 played. I think it's tough.
Which point you don't take on D three? At which point you take on A seven? I think these are tough decisions with six minutes on the clock.
But now peace bye thank you. Three minutes.
Now peace bye thank you. Three minutes. Three minutes, six minutes, twenty seconds. And Bhavesh Vyas. Oh Bhavesh Vyas! What a story he has guys. And Modupalli Venkata, thank you for your contribution. You know Bhavesh Vyas? We have just searched Chess Base India. He has written a story of how chess helped him fight cancer. Oh wow! And it's an amazing story.
Two minutes twenty-five seconds for Zaimo. The question is whether she will come back with her knight to B four or not. And I do think that once the clock dips below one minute, Savita will take more risks.
But the problem is that Vantika actually is getting much worse. Significantly worse.
She's worse in the position, but let's hope that she's able to keep fighting. Yeah, because the moment she loses, Savita will also lose some of her hope.
But the thing is, if Savita wins, we cannot lose this match, right? And that's fine. That's fine. I mean, two-two is okay.
Two-two is good.
Ben Johns, thank you so much. Bye. Prague goes wrong. And knight f four played.
Did she play? Yeah, knight to f four played by Zaimo.
भाई ये देखो knight g six मारोगे take nice position rook e four she played a move actually already.
She played something. She played who? No, rook e four she played.
Why? Why she's keeping up the pressure, ah?
I like how she's playing. I mean, she's not. I mean, she's keeping the game going, and with one minute forty four seconds for Zaimo, mistakes are going to come. Right. But yes, you can see the bar there right now is actually completely in favor of China.
Why Pragnananda makes an error? He has. Lost his winning chance, it seems. I don't know if that is true or not. Maybe the weak engine on our bars is saying that, but actually he's still better after rook g seven. So guys, Prag is better. Believe in Prag. Rajasekhar, thank you so much. Pentakota, thank you so much.
Oh my God! Look at Zaimo's clock. One minute.
He makes a move. Rook f four, f four पे कुछ है already. Rook d eight she plays. I think that's a good move. Rook d eight. Yeah, nice move.
What if knight c six? That looks like a bad move.
Rook d seven.
I guess. Or no, that's too much. Can you check knight? Just to quickly update everyone on Vantika's board.
Yeah.
c6 is a brilliant concept played by Lu Miao Yi, and the idea is if b takes c6, she will not take on a6. She might play b6 here.
Wow.
Wow!
And king is coming into C5. Impressive. Too good.
Very high level. Showing great class and I think Vantika may collapse here. So India, if we want to make a two-two draw with China, Savita has to strike. I mean, you know, there has been so much. That has been done by Savita in this tournament. Can she deliver one more time? Just okay, bye. One time, one time. Phoenix Reason following you guys since 2021. Vaikhan's end evolution has been massive. Still remember the game Giri Firuja, which was a crazy draw. Giri Firuja by Vaikhan's end 2021. Oof! By both Phoenix Reason is like a goated viewer.
I I think Savita can still do it but now is an important moment like knight c six if she doesn't find black wants to play d two d two is black's idea to push the pawn one square away from queening and she played nice Knight c6 is good. Knight c6 is a good move. And rook dd7 played. Rook dd7 played by Zaimo.
Guys, rook has come to d7 to stop the you know knight from taking here, and now Savita can push the pawn or x step आगे। And she plays B4. Let's go, nice! Let's go, let's go! Good move, B4 played.
And actually Savita is getting better. Zaimo has less than 1 minute 30 seconds on her clock. Love from Malaysia says Doctor Strange. Thank you so much. And guys, India has not lost yet. We are still fighting. The hopes are still alive.
Let's go. Vadika may not be able to hold, but if Savita wins, then it will be two-two.
Need to find until the last moment. Bishop goes back to f eight. What now? I love it.
They are really strong there. These two knights are supporting each other but रुक डी फाइव में कम इन but then A seven will hang. By the A seven pawn is not just a pawn guys, it's the holder of the A pawn. It's like you know the dam holding the water.
If white can keep the pawn on a5, king f2.
Muy bien, muy bien. Very nice, Savita building the pressure, guys. Savita actually one of the things that we have realized about Savita is that under pressure she is able to make moves which keep the position going. That's a rare skill. जोशा जोश अजय, very intense moment for women's team India. Savita has been phenomenal in this tournament. Hope she strikes today as well. Thank you, bye.
She can. Very nice super chat. And I think she might strike today. Bye. What what a performance that would be. That would be.
That would really make her a star today. And you know the reason why this win is important?
Because we might not be able to fight for gold with a draw, with a two-two draw, but our chances of getting a medal are still alive. And getting a medal at the Olympiad is is no joke.
And also by Savita would move to eight and a half out of nine.
Okay guys, let's not let's not get ahead of ourselves. Job still needs to be done, but Savita is. Fighting king back to G8. That's a bad move.
No, that's a good move. Oh, Zaimo playing well as well. What about king E3?
Amruta, you're back. You're back actually at a very critical juncture in this entire match of India versus China.
King E3 check. I like king E3.
Then king D2, king C3.
I mean, visually, if you see, white seems like dominating, right? Yeah. The engine says it's equal. I think Savita might be feeling. I'm an Indian engineer says yesterday there was discussion about biggest miracle while streaming. For me, it was Nepo Karuana 109 move candidates draw. Insane game and night it was. True. Five oh to crazy था भाई। Oh no!
Hillary भाई king even yeah. Nepo had drawn and also apologized. That was a Very famous moment. She played King e1 history and hi, Zain wonder.
Let's go, Savita.
I love that you know Amruta has so much curiosity about how the moves went, and this just shows like you know the love of the game. She went for a few for some time, but comes back and before knowing the evaluation, she wants. To know how this position came. Wow! This shows the passion of Amruta was so passionate.
Mitra Varma, thank you for becoming a believer of Indian chess.
Five fifteen seconds. Knight G two check.
King D two. Bhago bhago bhago. Let's run. Let's run. King D two. Can she do it? Oh, we have Kalyan Guntupalli contributing five thousand on help chess. Thank you, Kalyan guys. Let's go! Thank you for your support. As Savita fighting there, people are contributing to create the next Savita-like player from Indian chess. It's so beautiful.
And I remember the video where Gukesh and Savita had won the national championship together. Well, Gukesh did manage to make a huge comeback yesterday. Savita is on the verge of repeating that. King to d2, Savita! Let's go!
Let's go!
Found the move.
Knight comes back to f4 now. Okay, this is a tough moment now.
It will be hard to assess for them. I think you're more than the calculations. Just play. It is very hard.
You know, right now you just need to make a move. Don't think so much about winning or losing. Just play. Rook b1. One move at a time.
Rook b1 defended so the knight can start moving.
Manoram, thank you. Rook b1 not possible.
Rook b1 not happening. Rook c1, maybe.
Rook c1 also.
Rook c1, rook c4, I feel is the most logical according to me. And to go rook d4, guys. Rook c1 is very logical. Is that a good move or a bad move? Good move. Okay, then rook c1, rook c1, rook c4.
Is king c3 a good move or not? Because knight, you know, some checks and all.
Maybe king c3 looks good. JEE exam in 4 months, but I'm addicted to chess. Help! I'm an Indian engineer. Thank you for becoming a backer of Indian chess. All the people who become members on this channel until 31st of March this 2027, we're going to use all the funds for. You played Rook c1.
Rook c1 played. Let's go, Savita. She's in sync.
She's in sync. Rag is also playing.
And just to quickly show you, Vantika. Well, Vantika is down to wait. 5. She played a move with 5 seconds, but she's losing. She's losing, guys, which means that Vantika will lose her game and Savita needs to win to equalize. Yeah, the match.
Thank you so much, bye, for your contribution. And Prag is still winning, no problems there, guys. Pragnananda doing it in style. He has to play C six now. Very tough move. Let's see if he manages to do it or not.
Going back to Savita. Wow! Rook C one, Rook H seven, Rook C four, guys. Let's go. Rook D four, Rook D four. Let's go, Amruta. Let's go, Sagar bhai.
Let's go, Savita. Satyajit Shinde, thank you for becoming the backer of Indian chess. Oh!
Let's go and she gets up and she knows that you know something went wrong in Vantika's board. She sees it. There is something about this name. S S Sagar Shah here, Savita Shri there. Wow! Comes back on the board, and once you exchange the rooks, there is something about H R guys.
Harshit Raja, Ritik Roshan.
Savita again is actually moving to eight and half out of nine.
Yeah. Twenty seconds for Zaimo. She's completely baffled. How Savita tricked her. Clutch Queen.
Yes, that's a nice name.
I like it.
Ashit bhai, you gave the name Clutch Queen.
I saw it somewhere. Rook g7.
And now guys, trade one of the rooks so that a7 pawn marke queen banega. Yeah. Why? she achieved the same thing without giving the exchange.
this is an incredible play by सविता to just keep the game going with a few minutes on the clock and as you said अमृता to give up an exchange in a situation where if it doesn't work out your team loses, I think she found the perfect balance of keeping the game going And not taking too many risks.
Yeah, absolutely. Because there also it was going towards one mistake and then you are again in like ending in a draw. Two two.
Do you think? Do you think one played? Rook cd four on the board. Given the score sheet by the arbiter. Wow! Brilliant! Brilliant game. Knight on c six, the rook coming into d eight. Guys, just to put things in perspective, the way Savita has converted this under pressure, it's insane. And we have Aarav and Abir Fervani. Wow, Aarav and Abir, thank you for becoming backer of Indian chess.
Man, talk about comebacks. Yeah, this tournament, this Olympiad has just been about comebacks and has been about not writing off any team until the very end. True. We've seen people.
Rubidiate by Keldia. Ah, finally, Savita's all the pieces are super active.
Every piece.
By Savita का हर एक piece सुंदर हो गया मतलब look at this every piece is beautiful.
Three pieces in enemy's camp, whereas Zaimo's only one piece in enemy camp. Sorry man. Sorry man says Sagar bhai will you marry me?
Sorry man.
Sorry man आंसर था Sagar bhai का. Good one. क्या नाम sorry man है और मेरा आंसर भी sorry man.
Rook d seven played. Now this just means that मार दो ना मार के a seven का pawn मर रहा है यार. And take this.
And what if you don't take and still try to create a मजा आ गया?
Are the individual awards based on score and what?
Actually, it's based on not scores; it's rating performance. So if you have played strong opponents and scored lesser points, but your rating Performance is higher. So let's say you played five players, eight players, twenty six hundred, and you scored six. Or you played eight players, twenty four hundred, and you played scored seven. Then the player with lesser points because they have a higher performance will still qualify.
No, except Rook d7.
Totalmente. Totalmente.
Sanglisa Bond is here.
Let's go, Sanglisa Bond. Thank you for contributing the times when no one was contributing today. Also, your contribution stands out. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Bye. Meanwhile, Pragnananda just doing this in style. even when he went somewhere wrong, he just converted it. wow.
also these kind of engine moves many times are based on the very difficult move to find on the board which is impractical. as I already mentioned.
Look at Savita's expression. She's like, ah, finally by जीत गई मैं। But meanwhile, Vantika Agrawal, guys, is losing. Look at Lu Miaowei's pawns here. They are moving ahead. And तो वो ये ना there is a song. ज़िंदगी की रही रीत है हर के बाद ही जीत है and then the next line थोड़े आंसू है थोड़ी खुशी आज गम है तो कल फिर खुशी ऐसे ही हो रहा है भाई एक board पे खुशी तो दूसरे पे दुख but it's okay दोनों पे दुख नहीं आया दोस्तों प्रसाद दूर remember for forty seven months प्रसाद भाई give some advice a aged more than ten years this olympiad time for ten k run let's go And Raven X, thank you for your contribution on Help Chess. Kartika Bharadwaj, love you guys. And what a moment for Savita Sri!
Look at her, she knows it now.
Savita is a bit sad that Vandika couldn't hold and win the gold. That's how much it meant. Gaurav, thank you for your contribution. Kaustubh says, what are your thoughts on Savita's and Nihal's performance? I think Savita का performance के लिए क्या एक कोई भी शब्द दो उतने कम है और Nihal का performance in the first four rounds was great then he paused a bit and then again now today after his win he's back on back on track but it's it's all about I think in the entire in the combining both the open team and the women's team I think Savita has been our best performing Indian yeah by far.
I mean, first Olympiad it is incredible.
Yeah, I think all her wins until now were great, but this one just takes the cake by a by a mile for me. Under pressure, last board पे इतना कुछ हो रहा है and plus keeping an eye on Vantika's board.
Yes. You know she knew that Vantika is getting under trouble because she could have repeated twice.
Match Savita Shri is striking again.
Oh, Savita!
She finds now it will be five. भाई हरिक इतना accuracy too good, too bad, too much. And we have super chat by Kaustubh Khatupadliya भाई thank you. Anand K R thank you for your contribution to help chess. Buddha Ditya Bhattacharya thank you so much भाई. Pragyan Gaurav For even X, thank you all for your contribution.
We have reached three seven seven seven viewers on this chess, and I think maybe tomorrow we might cross four thousand.
Four thousand too much. If India wins a medal, medal But Savita winning this will definitely keep the momentum. No, keep it keep the silver silver chances alive. Because I don't know what happened to Kazakhstan and Mongolia. We'll check it after this game.
Final moments. So here again, knight takes b four.
Oh wow! a seven. a seven. And this is a classic win. Classic win. We have seen this one before. Knight takes d five and knight c seven.
Beautiful tactics, tactics. Harshid bhai tactical on the board, off the board, everywhere.
For finding next Savita, let's Let's go. Thank you. And she, what did she play?
She just played king takes d3 by simple chess. No need to complicate it. And look at Liu Miaoyi. She's still there trying to.
Well, China did their job, right? China did their job. They won.
But she's sixteen years old, Liu Miaoyi, and her second or third impressive.
Liu Miaoyi's mother is a strong chess player. And she drew with Anish Giri in recent times, like in some tournament, 2025 World Rapid and Blitz teams.
I think Lumavi has a, you know, future world champion in her. So definitely she has shown way. And this game showed how much tension was there on the board. Off the board, so it was incomparable. But on the board too, you just be okay with that tension for a long time. Everything was uncertain. Rook d7 तो you have to move the king from the d5.
That's what it comes to. King c2, then knight e3.
King e4 I will. King e2 maybe. But king e4. Not f6, king e5. Rook b5, a7.
a7 simply played by Savita. Wow! Not being afraid of the disco checks because rook d4 simply I guess. Oh by the way Prague won.
Prague won. Let's go Prague. And the Indian team wins three and half half and Savita wins.
Let's go! Wow! Wow!
वाव क्या कम्बैक किया है भाई and the contributions keep flowing श्रीकांत करा thank you so much guys सविता श्री भाई क्या ही बताओ इनके बारे में जितने शब्द उतने ही कम है the more I say the less I will find good words about it she is an absolute star and you know eight and half out of nine And what a way to make a name for herself, not just for herself but for the entire country.
I mean, on board four playing for the first time, it's her debut. Eighteen, nineteen years old.
She's two thousand seven born, so she's nineteen years old, and I think she is just the next big thing of Indian chess. जिस तरह से उसने moves करते रही ना, was too good.
You know how World Cup was? A revolutionary event for Divya and for the world to know her talent. This could be an event for Savita.
Yeah, and also the thing is that it's all full of like guys Savita OP once हो जाए but clutch Savita I'm inspired by Savita like savior Savita. What were you saying? Did you imagine under you know we started our nomadic journey with that under eleven nationals अगर Where there was Gukesh and there was Savita who won the event, and they are just showing that how important even at that stage such a nationals could be that over a period of a decade you are absolutely at the top in the world.
You know, 2018 we went to Commonwealth Championships where Savita was playing against another young talent. These two girls, Sahiti Varshini and Savita. You may not have heard their names, but I think you will hear a lot about them in the days to come. Savita already making a name for herself. And yes, Sriram Rangachari, Velammal students, OP. She is from Velammal. Prag, Savita, Gukesh. I think Velammal school will can put a great Olympia team and win a medal as well. They are so good.
I mean, this school knows, yeah, if somebody is talented and somebody has a thing that you have. To support them, yeah. And it's a big contribution from such you know otherwise every day eight hours going to school maybe not needed for these kind of talents.
By the way, Sohardia Kundu, thank you for your contribution to help chess. And Mandy says something.
2013 class eight, our maths teacher showed us a newspaper cutting of Divya winning under nine nationals and scolded us for being. Fit for nothing. Today, watching her shine, we are all ridiculously proud and nostalgic. Amazing.
Yeah, Divya doing really well.
And tell them you are fit for something because you are able to super chat.
And this kind of, you know, brings us down to the final day. Yes. And the excitement continues towards the final day. Just to tell you about the ranking Well, China is still at the top in the women's section, and in the open section, it's the Uzbeki team. However, however, in the open section, the Indian team right there at the second position, fighting for silver and hopefully more. And in the women's section, I think we are also fighting for a medal.
Yeah. By the way, very good question. Can Savita make a grandmaster norm here? But I think she needs to play a number of GMs. She hasn't. It is possible.
Yeah, maybe she'll gain rating and maybe cross 2400 again. Yeah, that's a good dance, please, because oh yes, but we drew.
No, we have a super chat. India versus Abba Akhilesh Nagre.
Akhilesh bhai, great coach. Hi, Akhilesh bhai. Akhilesh bhai, please check out Chess Dial and list yourself. India versus China, two knights doing the magic. We have it. So maybe we are on sixteen or fourteen वाले team ऊपर आ गए. So tomorrow India will have to win to get silver or bronze, right? It will be a. I think silver is possible if we win tomorrow because our tiebreak is good. China has secured the gold. I think there's no one no one close to them. So congrats to Chinese women team for securing gold in the open. Uzbekistan has Not yet secured the gold, and by the way, there is a very nice slide that our director has spammed the link.
Guys, you can check it out. All those who are looking for a coach and all those who are coaches, both, and it will go through a lot of. It will be revolutionary, guys. This one, because this has been a problem in the world of chess, and we are attempting.
So by the way, people are saying who meets whom in the final round. Maybe this is because China lost. So maybe that is not going to happen. Yeah, and then. Yeah, these are some possibilities for tomorrow. I don't think many of them will happen, but India might face Hungary or some team like that. Too many permutations, combinations. I'll update it in a separate video. At this point, this is not updated, right?
Like in the podcast, let's say we just—
I don't know, let's check. Show them.
By chance also, we had a chance of if you go to women's over there. Yeah, we had a chance of 25%. It's updated.
Yeah, we still have a 25% chance of silver.
Oh, okay, okay. Silver, gold, gold. Sorry. Oh, but then that is no.
I think they have yet to update the score. It will become China 100%. Because they won the gold, right? Yeah. So maybe this is not updated. Okay. Yeah. And guys, thank you all for following. Also, a big, big shout out to our sponsors Neuro. And I think we would love if on this stream itself, when we end it, you are able to leave some great words of how it felt for you to follow Savita's play. I think she's the star by far. Like, I mean, what a player under pressure. And Ramit Malhotra says, please accept for Harshit bhai's nose job. And is there any chance Uzbek one drops a point? Maybe if they play Ukraine, who knows? Chucky and the team.
But the thing is actually even if they drop a point, they have very good game points. So they actually Ramit needs If they need to lose, yeah.
So that's actually draw is also not enough. Very important thing to note tomorrow the round is at eleven a.m.
local time. What? Yeah. Yeah four hours early exactly.
Man but preparation time less। Ramit if you want a shirt you can check out Our shop, guys. The link is in the description, and we have restocked our bestseller also. Peace of Mind shirt, and this is your chance to check. We have limited sizes. Let's go check it out. Wow!

Hi, all the girls. See, anyway, bye. A lot of people are like, wow! Watch it, by so handsome. If you do another nose job, you'll look even more handsome.
I don't think I. I think I'm okay by now. Maybe if I need it later on, I will check. But I think now it's okay.
By Janani says last Olympiad, I was a CA final student and I used to listen to your streams while practicing problems. This Olympiad, I'm celebrating a year of being CA. Olympiad is always special for me.
