The World Championship match between Gukesh and Javokhir Sindarov has been announced in the city of Geneva in Switzerland. But today, FIDE has announced the venue and the title sponsor. It's happening in the place called Fondation Martin Bodmer. This is a heritage library and museum, and it looks stunningly beautiful overlooking Lake Geneva. And the title sponsor of this event is Salesforce. After having Google in 2024, FIDE is bringing in another big organization, and I think that's tremendous for chess.
