11.07.20- The Ash Cash Show

In this live episode of The Ash Cash Show, host Ash Exantus (Ash Cash) delivers a high‑energy, unscripted broadcast that blends promotion, personal philosophy, and practical advice. He opens with a marathon of calls‑to‑action, urging listeners to subscribe to his podcast, YouTube channel, and share the live stream across multiple platforms. The show’s format—Freestyle Friday—breaks from the usual three‑segment structure (financial inspiration, news, questions) and follows the spirit of the moment. Ash then dives into a deep discussion on "abundant confidence," framing it as a layered process rooted in childhood fearlessness, the impact of parental conditioning, and the role of memory in limiting self‑belief. He argues that true confidence comes from "not giving a fuck" about external validation, distinguishing self‑confidence from arrogance, and refusing to settle in relationships, work, or personal goals. The conversation shifts to work‑life balance, where Ash shares his own evolution from a bank employee to an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and founder of Mailbox Money Academy. He emphasizes building systems rather than jobs, leveraging digital assets for passive income, and maintaining a limited work schedule (approximately five hours a day) to prioritize family. He recounts his early career, the loss of love for banking when it became transactional, and his subsequent discovery of public speaking through Toastmasters and community volunteering. Spiritual and philosophical themes permeate the episode. Ash references God, the "kindergarten teacher" metaphor for divine forgiveness, and biblical figures (Paul, Peter, Elijah) to illustrate that even flawed individuals can achieve greatness. He promotes the idea that love— for oneself, God, family, and community— is the engine of success, and that when passion wanes, it signals a need to pivot. Practical advice surfaces throughout: a brief overview of Stephen Covey’s 7‑Habits time‑management matrix, the importance of focusing on important‑but‑not‑urgent tasks, and the need to eliminate time‑wasters. He also advises women on the grind and dating, encouraging energetic alignment and authenticity over compromise. The episode concludes with a rapid-fire acknowledgment of community members, a reminder of the show’s schedule (Monday‑Friday 8‑9 AM EST), and an invitation to continue the conversation on Instagram after the live broadcast.

And but Freestyle Friday, we just do what the spirit tell us, you know what I'm saying? It's the spirit, you know, whatever the spirit tells us to do, that's what we doing. So this is your show today. So we started already Uh, with some questions. Uh, but let me, let me make sure I open up the chat box, uh, for my Facebook people, them. Uh, because you know, my Facebook people, my YouTube people, my, my Twitch people, my Twitter people, my Periscope people in the building. Let me make sure that I open, open up the chat for them people, them. All right, so let's start, right? Um, we got some questions, right? Uh, so some folks want to talk about, uh, Abraham Hicks. We might, we might, we might So Pixifier says, uh, you know, play, play the list like I did, I did, uh, last week. Uh, maybe, maybe, may not, may not, may not guarantee it. We'll, we'll see, we'll see how we feel. Maybe, you know what I'm saying? Let me, let me get the playlist ready just in case. Where's that? Uh, playlist is called No Excuses. All right, No Excuses is up. All right, so we might, we might, because y'all, because y'all did, um Uh, Just Be. And then maybe, yeah, maybe we'll do Vortex Expansion. All right, maybe we'll do Abraham Hicks. Maybe we'll see. Um, let's see, let's see, let's see. So, says, um, how to have abundant confidence. Um, so it— so, so having abundant confidence, um, is a layered process depending on where you're starting from. Hold on, let me get some water, right. It's a layered process depending on where you're starting from. Let me tell you why. Some people— so, here's what it is, here's what it is. Think about a child, right. And I, you know, love and fear, right. You always hear me say love and fear. So, think about a child, right. A child is never afraid until people make them afraid. Like, a child comes out the womb like fearless. They will jump off the bed, they will do— they fearless. Kids are fearless. They would go to the park and jump off a building if they could, right. But what happens is, as they're growing older, parents are there supervising them, right. And then while the parents are supervising them— oh, actually, hold on for one second. Let me just make sure y'all can hear me on Facebook because I was using this Mike. Um, I was using this mic on, um, on another app and, and it just, you know, it just jumped up. So let me just make sure, uh, that it did not— and I— and I messed me up. Uh, let's see, let's see. Yo, Facebook has been bugging, bugging, because I ain't even on Facebook. Matter of fact, wait, I ain't even on Facebook. Yo, what's— yo, Facebook, what y'all been doing? Because I'm, I'm noticing the last time I was on Facebook was like 2 days ago. Like, what y'all doing doing? Let me see. I'm noticing the last time I was on Facebook— All right, yeah, so like, yeah, all right, so, so y'all can hear me on YouTube at least. All right, so, um, so yeah, so, so, you know, kids, kids don't have, you know, kids don't have fear, right? They love everything. They love people, they love, they love adventure, they love everything. But it's, it's adults Who have experiences, right, who have experiences, and they shield their children, or they attempt to shield their children from things that could potentially harm them. But in doing that, you know, we instill a level of fear in them. But then also other things, right, like other things like don't talk back. And there's so many, you know, I think that who we are as adults could be traced on so many levels to our childhood, right. And then you have the extreme versions of, you know, the unspeakable things that happen that affect, you know, people's lives and, you know, abuse and things of that nature that affects, you know, someone's confidence. So, you have all these things in between. And to be honest, a lack of confidence is because something is blocked, right? Whether it's a memory, whether it's a memory of, you know, who you were in the past, whether it's a memory of something that hurts you, it's all your memory really. Lack of confidence is memory. Lack of confidence is nothing else but memory, just remembering something, how it made you feel, right, to be rejected. Because one of the top human you know, experiences— I wouldn't even say experiences. One of the top human feelings is being wanted, right. And so, what happens is that you might remember being confident and people making you feel like ish for being confident. You might remember, you know, not fitting in because you were too confident, you know what I'm saying. And so, that didn't really make you feel good. And because it didn't make you feel good, you then start to, you know, you start to dim your light. You start to be cautious about what you say or how people are going to take things and things of that nature. And so, I think number one, it's the art of not giving a fuck. Excuse my language. I think that to have an abundance confidence, you cannot give a fuck. And I'm saying that, I'm saying I'm blatantly using that word, excuse me if anybody has any children listening, but I know they heard the word fuck before. And I'm not using it in a, you know, in a derogatory way. This is actually a— I'm using fuck in a positive way, right. But to get abundance confidence, you have to not give a fuck. Not one, not one. Not about your confidence, right? Not about your confidence, because here's the truth about it. The truth about it is that confidence, right, true confidence is about self. Self-confidence. The root word is self. Your self-confidence has nothing to do with anybody else. And if anybody gets offended about how confident you are about Yourself, then fuck them. Because they don't even— like, they, they're, they're so insecure about themselves that your self-confidence makes them feel— that's so egotistical for somebody to feel a way about how you feel about your fucking self. Excuse my language. That was— I'm ODing. My fault. I'm going too far. My fault. That was, that was too much. That was too much. But To have an abundance of confidence, you got to not give a fuck on all levels though. I'm saying on all levels. I'm saying not your family, not your mother, not your father, not your significant other, not your community, nothing. Anything that has to do with self, do not give a fuck. Because there is a saying That everything that settles hits the bottom. Oh, bars! Think about it. Everything that settles hits the bottom. You take a bottle, you put some shit in the bottle. Freestyle Friday, so I could do this. You shake it up, you shake it up, you shake it up. Guess what's gonna happen? Everything you put in the bottle, right? Everything you put in the bottle is gonna be within the bottle. But guess what's going to happen to the things that you put in the bottle? It's going to settle, and guess where it's going to go? To the bottom. So no blood fire, no blood fire settling here. We don't settle. You don't settle for your significant other. You don't settle for your family. You don't settle for your kids. You don't settle for your job. You don't settle for your business. You don't settle for your clients. You don't settle, right. But it's self-confidence though, right. Don't be arrogant, don't be arrogant, right, because arrogance is different. Arrogance is like, yo, I'm gonna make you feel a way about how I feel, right. For me, for me, for me to say, yo, I'm the best motivational speaker ever and nobody could touch me, right, that's, that's not self-confidence. For me to say, yo, my books are the best books ever, nobody could ever write a book like I could write, eh. You know what I'm saying? Like, that, that's, that's a little arrogant because that— because now I'm putting other— now it's, now it's competitive. Now I'm competing. Now I'm putting other people in it. I don't do that, right? I know though, for a fact, I know you pick up one of my books, your life is going to change forever. Factual ancestral facts, cash facts. Self-confidence though, I have no doubt in my mind That if, if you're introduced to any of my body of work, you will find value. Ify, that's it. Self-confidence though. I don't compare myself to nobody. I wouldn't disrespect myself like that, and I wouldn't disrespect nobody else. And so there's a difference between arrogance, trying to compare yourself, trying to compete, right? Like, friendly competition is dope, right? But But, but, but, you know, I mean, we all eat, B. At the end of the day, I don't care who— there's— I like— I got my own lane. HOV. I got my own lane already. And I'm saying, but you know what I'm saying, that was just a, you know, I mean, quote. But I got my own lane, you know what I'm saying? And so at the end of the day, because I got my own lane, we could— yo, we could be like— we ain't going in the same place. We could be on the highway going 90 together. You might be getting off on a different exit. So I— so I— so, so there's no competition. I don't look at nobody and be like, damn, I wish they life— I had their life. That sounds— that sounds stupid to wish you had somebody else's life. I don't look at nobody's journey and say, damn, I wish I was at this point. No, I know what I want. I know what I have to do to, uh, to be in energetic alignment with what I want, and that's it. It be— that's it. Like, there's nothing else. And so, confidence starts with the art of not giving a fuck, number one. And then number two, you got to like not, you know, not look at— not settle, right. Number two, not settle, right. Now that you don't give a fuck, don't settle for— I'm talking about for nobody. If you're significant— And don't be afraid to lose nobody. Because, uh, that is a prison, right? It is a prison. If you can't be yourself, your whole self, and nothing but yourself around the people that you love, then you have created a prison. I don't want to be around you. Love me or leave me alone, period. You either love me or leave me alone. If I bother you, then, then peace. Because I'd rather go where I'm loved and not where I'm tolerated. I don't care how long you've been together with somebody. I don't care how, you know, much you love your parents. I don't care how love— how much you love your sibling, whatever, whoever, whoever, whatever. If you got to be less than to be around them, then gotta go. Coolio mean it's getting too hot. All right, great question. Uh, Shoe Solutions says, uh, do your business spill over into family time a lot? Um, not really, you know. Um, fortunately we're at a space, um, where we control our time. Um, and so, you know, like, like I'm an entrepreneur, my wife is an entrepreneur, uh, and in fact most of the time is family time. You know what I'm saying? So it's not like, you know, it's not like that, you know, we've been able to— it took time though, I'll be honest, right? There were, you know, and, you know, First Lady will tell you, there were times where, you know, I was zoned out. I wasn't even focused on family. I was zoned out. And like, you know, there's many times that the family did stuff and I like, I wasn't even a part of it because I was so focused on building a business. And it hurt, you know what I mean? It hurt the family dynamic, it hurt my relationship, everything, you know what I'm saying? Like, it definitely was a learning lesson. So, you got to think about it, right. Me and first lady been together 17 years, so you got to know there's been some— was it Jimmy Cozier? Sometimes I love her, sometimes I love her not. I ain't let her go, she's all I got. Sometimes she nags me. I'm saying that low because I don't want her to hear. And complains a lot. I'm saying it low. Um, but, but, but you, but you gotta know, right? Like, you know what I mean? It's up and down. So I, so I think in the beginning, yeah, there was a lot of, um, you know, uh, on my end, you know what I'm saying? Like a lot of just zoned out, going to conferences, traveling. Like I was, you know, there's a good period of my of my career that I was like I was nonexistent to the family. You know what I mean? But fast out the mailbox money. I'll be honest with you, right? Mailbox money, getting those direct deposits made me realize that I didn't really have to be absent to still, you know, impact the world like I like I want to impact the world. In fact, you know, COVID-19 made it clear as day that you know what I'm saying? Like, may not may not even. I don't even have to like grind as hard and still live the life that I want, you know, I want to live, you know what I'm saying? So, yes, in the beginning it was spilling over, but now we're at a space where, you know, First Lady killing it on that digital front, you know what I'm saying? If you was in Mailbox Money Academy, she made a guest appearance and she was talking her talk because it's real. It's getting real, it is getting real. She, you know what I mean, I ain't going to say what she said because it's a secret society, but you know what I mean? She's trying to stunt on the God. She's trying to stunt on the God, you know what I mean? But yeah, we got to a space where, you know, digital money is good, you know what I'm saying? Like, we're able to bring in digital money through work we do one time and it pays us over and over again, which allows us to flip over the time. So, majority of the time that we probably would have been spending working and figuring things out, we put in that foundational work. already. So now, you know, I would say I probably— to be honest, I probably work 5 hours a day, maybe 3 on the front end, 2 on the back end. And the rest of the hours is like with family. So like, you know what I mean? Like, so after the show, let's say, uh, you know, 9 to 12 maybe, you know what I'm saying? Or maybe sporadically. And then when the kids go to sleep or when everybody's like, you know, starting to wind down, I might, you know, might do another 2 hours. Other than that— You know what I mean? It's not, it's not, it's not a, it's not a heavy load. So I think, I think, I think, um, the, the point for me, or the point that I want to make, is, uh, I think it's important that you, uh, anybody who creates a business, create a system. Don't create a job, right? When you're creating a business, don't create a, don't create a job. Don't create something that, um, you know, you have to work in. Uh, create a system, right? Right? And if you focus on that system and you create that system, um, it's gonna work for you whether you, you know, whether you work or not, you know what I mean? So Mailbox Money Academy, that's what we about. Uh, Racks Rising, what up, what up? Spoiled Brat, what up? Walking in Purpose, what up? Uh, thanks for Chris Martin songs, everything. Yo, I'm a Big Deal. Money Love, what up? I'm a Big Deal. Yo, that, yo, that's a big tune, them. China B, what up? Um, West Coast with you. What up, West Coast? Uh, I love this show. Appreciate you, Pink Sapphire. Amit, what up? Tag Amit in the building. Salute, King. I have family business, uh, balance issues. Um, yeah, that's important. And yeah, I mean, I think, I think you gotta put first things first though, you know what I'm saying? Like, you got to put first things first. Um, and when you, when you put first things first, so like, so, so this was my excuse back in the day. Let me tell you what my excuse was. And the First Lady I tell you. My excuse was I love my family, so in order to, to take care of my family, I got to work hard to be able to take care of the family. But that didn't work because, you know, we were always taken care of. And so there was a fear, right? Because I've been through almost foreclosure, because I know what it's like to not have, because I know how to, you know, you know, living paycheck to paycheck and trying to figure things out. I never liked that feeling. And so because I didn't like that feeling, I worked hard to try to compensate for for trying to not have that feeling. But in being afraid of that feeling, all I did was draw that feeling towards me, you know what I'm saying? And then now I'm losing out on some formidable years, right? So like, as my daughter's 2, 3, 4, 5, and all these years that they going out in museums and stuff like that, and my wife and daughter having these experiences, and I'm not even part of that experience, you know what I mean? Money comes and go, you know what I'm saying? And so, I would never do that again. My family is first. So, understand that my work is for the community, right. And so, when I say God, family, community, I mean that, right. Like, my family doesn't come before God, right. And so, if God tells me, if my higher power— and I'm made in the, you know, the image and likeness of God, so it's me first too, right. So, please understand when I say God, I'm included in that. Right, and so nothing comes before God and myself, nothing, right. It's how I feel, it's how what God— but it's not ego how I feel. It's not like how I feel, like, you know, like I want a back rub every night. If I don't get that, yo, I'm— nah, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about like divine-ish, you know what I'm saying. So God comes first, and I'm made in the image and likeness of God, and so I put my God self first. Then it's family, right? Then it's family, but then it's community. And my work is community-based. When I write books, when I do workshops, when I do this show, it's about— it's about community. And so, so, so never, you know, it has happened before, but in this new realm, in this new space that I'm in, it's God, family, community. And that's why I say that you got to put God first, because if God is telling you to do something, you got to do it. But not at the expense of yourself because you're made in the image and likeness of God. And then not at the expense— and then after that, then you focus on your family. Don't, you know what I'm saying, like, you know, you're taken care of. Don't ever kind of think like, you know, it's ego to be like, well, you know, well, I have to do this. Or nah, you good, you know what I'm saying? Because, you know, what's for you is not going to feel like pressure. It's not going to be toxic. You know what I'm saying? What's meant for you is not toxic. What's meant for you is not, is not going to be pressure. You know what I'm saying? You know, I used to, I used to run with this like, yo, pressure either bust pipes or make diamonds. It's true, but you ain't a coal. You're a child of God. You know what I'm saying? And, and, you know, and, and, and, you know, I mean, pressure, you know, pressure in, in a space of pushing yourself, that's different. But not pressure, not do or die pressure. There's never do or die pressure. You make that up. There's never do or die pressure. Vote or die, do or die. No, no, God gives you as much chances as you need. As long as you have breath in your body, you good. There's never like, do this or else. Oh my God. Oh, you're gonna die. You're not gonna be able to feed your family. Oh no, no, no, sorry, wrong. Wrong channel. That's bull— that's BS. That's a crocker-ish. It's never that pressure. You, you, you fuck up, God is merciful. I'm here through God's grace. You know how many times I messed up and God was like, ah, don't worry about it, you'll get it, you'll get it right next time. God is like a kindergarten teacher. You know, every time I drop my son off at kindergarten, he might— he'll flip over a table. He's not— not for real, but he'll do something And she'll be like, no, don't worry, he'll be all right. God is like a kindergarten teacher. Don't, don't get— God is not a drill sergeant. God is not in the army. God is not a drill sergeant. God is a kindergarten teacher, contrary to popular belief. If you mess up, you get another chance. If you do it wrong, think about all the people that do some foul-ish and they still around to get it right. I'm talking about some foul-ish, right? Think about all those people. I'm gonna go Bible for a second because I saved this quote. I'm gonna go Bible for a second, you know what I'm saying? For those in the back, so for those who don't— who need assurance, right? For those who need assurance, where's that? Where's that? Where they at, dude? Where's that? Did I get rid of it? Maybe I got rid of it. No, look, look, Paul was a murderer, right? Wait, wait, wait, wait, I saw this. It was dope. It was dope. And I don't know all these stories, so don't, so don't, don't ask me, don't ask me Bible verses, right. Paul was a murderer. Peter had a temper. Elijah was depressed. Noah got drunk. David had an affair. Jonah ran away from God. Miriam was a gossiper. Moses stuttered. Lazarus was dead. And you know, God do not call the qualified, he qualifies the called. I just thought that was a dope one, uh, but my point, not to get, you know, not to get all all religious and stuff. But the point is that, um, you know what I mean, like, who gives an F, you know what I'm saying? You can mess up as much times as you want. God is forgiving, you know what I'm saying? I forgot where I was going with it, but y'all, but y'all get what I'm saying. Y'all get what I'm saying. Yeah, I forgot, but yeah. Uh, let's see, let's see. Uh, facts. Uh, how do you know that it was time to to switch careers? Oh, that's a good one. I stopped falling in love. I wasn't in love. Love J— look, look, look, your name, your name, right. I stopped falling in love. Nah, Love J829, aka Boost Mobile. Who knows, man. I stopped falling in love with what I was doing. So, you got to think about it, right. So, I started working at the bank in '99, right. I was 18 years old. going on 19, um, because my birthday's in November, so, so I got a late— you know what I mean? So I was 18 going on 19 working at the bank, uh, and banking was a service. It felt good. It was, it was a family thing. It was a service, uh, you walk in there, you know, you knew everybody's name. There wasn't a bank on every corner. It wasn't like this fast transactional thing, um, but then I think I want to say like 5 years into it, about 2004-ish, Um, you know, there was a wave of bank— of, um, bank managers being hired that used to work retail, you know what I'm saying? Like Best Buy and all these different places, because, uh, somebody shifted it. Somebody said that we should— we— banking should be about sales. And then it shifted, and it wasn't fun no more. Now it wasn't— now I couldn't spend a half an hour with a client because the goals were based on volume. and not on the quality of the client. Before, I had a book of business and it was a quality of clients, but then it shifted from quality to quantity, and that just wasn't fun no more. Now it was transactional. Now I felt like I worked at McDonald's. I didn't feel like I worked in a bank. I felt like I worked at McDonald's. And so I wasn't in love no more, you know. But what I did fall in love with while I was working with the bank, you know, I used to do Toastmasters. So I used to go to Toastmasters and and do, you know, learn how to speak in front of the crowd because I was a manager. I wanted to learn that. And then while I was doing Toastmasters, I started volunteering, you know, fast-track to Operation HOPE. That was like the first place I volunteered. I used to do, you know, speaking engagements or, you know, volunteering at local schools. Then it graduated to going to churches. Then I was going to jails. And then I just realized like, damn, like I love talking to people. And it wasn't because I like talking to people about money. I wound up starting to talk about money, but inspiring with my story, you know what I'm saying. And so, I just got to that space where I love this, I love talking to people, I love inspiring people, I love motivating people, I love, I love, I love. And so, I said yo, right, what did Oprah say? Oprah say find something you love then figure out how to make money from it. And so, I loved it and then I said let me figure out how to make money from it. And actually, I didn't even know how to make money from it, I just opened the door. Right, I just told the universe, I told God like, yo, I love this, and I love this so much that God was bringing in people that was showing me the blueprint. So, God is the one that, you know, introduced me to a guy who asked me, who wanted to book me for a speaking engagement, but I didn't know my price, and he told me, yo, you need to start charging, right. He's the reason why, you know, I looked into, you know, NSA, National Speakers Association, and to learn the business of speaking. Right, which led me to writing books, which led me to, you know, traveling the country, which led me to becoming a best-selling author, which led me to now do courses and led me, you know what I'm saying, all led, you know what I mean. But it started with love though, right. It started with love that led me to radio, that led me to television, that led, you know what I mean, all of this stuff started, it was a trickle down because I loved it. And then now because I loved it, God wanted to amplify my love. Right, whatever you love, it gets amplified. And so as it— as it— as I was loving it and loving and loving it, I got, you know, it continued to get amplified, and here we are today, right? International, International Ash, that's my handle. Now people all over the world, do you understand that? This little kid from Harlem, right, from Harlem, New York City, from 129th Street and 8th Avenue, from 2406 8th Avenue, apartment 1A. Little dude. Now people all over the country— Canada, Nigeria, you know what I'm saying, uh, Johannesburg— like across the country, like international. There are people, there are people in another continent who know who Ash Cash is. In another continent, you know what I'm saying? And that, and that, and that's why, that's why my daily word today, uh, was, was a, was, was about, you know what I mean, quit, quit hot Quit hiding your magic. The world is ready for you, they're ready, you know what I'm saying. It's time to switch when you're not in love no more with any, you know, it's time to switch, you know, everything. When you fall out of love with every— anything you fall out of love with, it's time to switch because love conquers all. Love conquers all. So, there we go, that's my answer and I'm sticking it to it. Stick it to it. We love Freestyle Friday. What up, Iris Palmer? Sunny San Diego in the building. How do you how do you maintain balance and not get consumed with self-pressure to succeed? That's a great question, Bayan Bayan. Um, you know, I think I think I mean it's different for me. It's different for me because um I realize you know in the words of in the words of India Ari. Life is a journey, not a destination. That self-pressure to succeed is fake, I'll be honest with you, right. Because you know, you're gonna set a goal for yourself. I say success is like, you know, success is like— sometimes success could be like Chinese food, right. You ever got hungry and you got some chicken wings and french fries, and then after you ate the chicken wings and french fries or whatever you ate, Uh, it was so dense in nutrients that, um, you were like, I'm still hungry. Like, I'm still hungry. I ate all this food and I'm still hungry, right? Um, and so success is like that, I'll be honest with you, right? You gotta think about— I've been in this game for a long time, so that's why I say it might be different for me. Um, I've been in this game for a long time, so I mean, I mean, I mean, long is relative, right? So 2009, right? So I've been, I've been in this game for 11 years, right? Like in the entrepreneurship game. And in this game, first my goal was to be a best-selling author, right. So I bust my ass, did a lot, did the work to become a best-selling author, and then I was like, oh, I arrived. That's it. Then I was like, yo, I want to be on radio. I want to talk to millions of people. Okay, Hot 97, WBLS, You're going to talk to millions of people every week. Then I'm like, oh, that's it, okay. Then I'm like, oh, you know what, I want to, I want to, I want to be another— I want to be a bestseller again. And I start grinding, grinding, grinding, bestseller again. Then they're like, oh yeah, you know what, I want to be on television. Then you're on television and you're like, uh. Then you're like— then, then I'm like, uh, I want to be a CEO of a bank. Uh, CEO, oh, okay. So what I'm saying is like Um, you're successful now, you know, so you don't— you don't— you are a success, Bayon. Like, right now, I'm talking about right now, to this day, right now, right now as I'm speaking to you, you're a success. And so why are you pressuring yourself to be you? You don't pressure yourself to be you, right? That doesn't make sense. You can't pressure yourself to be yourself. Like you wake up and you're yourself. Like, I'm not doing nothing special with y'all. This is not special. I'm giving you me, promise to always give you me, the real me, right. And so there's no pressure, like this is not pressure for me. But this is also— this has also blessed a lot of people, right. And I don't take that lightly, so I'm not saying it nonchalantly like that. in a way like I'm disrespecting what I'm bringing to the table. What I'm saying is that there's no pressure. There's no pressure for me to wake up every morning, 8 AM to 9 AM Eastern Standard Time, and speak to y'all. There's no pressure in that. There's no pressure of building a mastermind group and teaching what I know, not what I'm theorizing, right. Mailbox Money Academy is not a theory, it's a fact. It's an Ash Cash fact. It's a cash fact, right. I wake up, I mean, you know, we have our masterminds, I get other people who have done it. Like, that's not pressure for me to do that. It's not pressure for me to write a book about my experience. It's not pressure to do a course and record videos. There's no pressure. There's no pressure for a bank to hire me as an ambassador and pay me thousands of dollars to promote their brand. There's no pressure. There's no pressure for a client to hire me and can pay me thousands of dollars to coach them through a book process that I already know. There's no pressure. I'm just being me. Promise to always give you me, the real me, you know what I'm saying? Who would have thought I'll be stuck in this life? Let's celebrate with a toast. So I say celebrate. Bayan, bayan. I say celebrate. I say, I say that you don't need a balance to maintain and be consumed with the self-pressure to succeed. There is no pressure to succeed. You are successful right now. You set the terms. Work on things that you love. If you're— if what you're working— if you don't love what you're working on, then that feels like pressure. That's why I feel like pressure, right? Like, I— like, I'm excited. I got this book to finish. I'm excited about that. I don't feel pressured. Y'all gonna get it when y'all get it. I'm gonna put it on sale on my birthday, but it's pre-sale, and y'all get it when y'all get it. Ain't no pressure on there because it got to be right. If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over? So I want to put— I want to make sure it's right, you know what I'm saying? So there's your balance, Bayan Bayan. The Loving Breath of Awareness, what are the best things to focus on in your 20s and life, career, fun? Nah, I think the best things to focus on is ownership. for the rest of your life. I don't believe in that. I don't believe in, yo, focus on this on your 20s, on this on your 30s, on this on your 40s. I believe in ownership. You know, the first lady and I, we joke, right. Yo, we bought property, we were in our 20s when we did that, you know what I'm saying. Like, it was her idea. We were supposed to get married 2007, I think, 2007, mean, I know 2007 we got married, but instead of doing a big marriage, we were like, yo, let's take this money and buy a house. You know what I'm saying? Like, we, like, we bid on it. We bid on it. Like, we've been on the same thing, the same time we on right now. We've been on that in our 20s, and we ain't miss out on nothing. We didn't miss out on nothing. Like, people, oh yo, 20s are the, uh, you should have fun because— no, it actually, it actually gets better, actually. Think about, think about being 40 years old and you a janitor. No disrespect to a 40-year-old janitor, no disrespect. I don't, I don't mean no disrespect, but imagine being 40 and you're a janitor. Imagine being 40 or 50 and you got to report to a job and you can't go on vacation. Do you understand? Yo, yo, I'm out the country, or you know what I'm saying? Like, in God's will, we'll be out the country. We ain't gotta ask nobody. We ain't gotta, we ain't gotta, we ain't gotta ask nobody, can we, can we leave the country? And it gets, it actually gets better, right? Like, like, like, like, and speak to anybody who got their ish together that's 40, 50. They actually like, I'm looking, they like, yo, they like, yo, your 40s and your 50s are lit, lit. Contrary to popular belief, do not let nobody gas you and tell you that you should be having fun in your 20s because when you get old, that's poverty mindset. Poverty mindset says, oh, have all your fun now because when you get older, you'll have kids and responsibilities and you can't have— that's poverty mindset. Fuck that. It gets better. Life has been getting better and better and better. Life is— life was better at 35 than it was at 25. Life is better at 39 than it was, you know what I'm saying, at 29. on life. It gets better and better. Life has not been retracting, it's been going up. And so I think that, period, focus on ownership. Until you own your own, you can't be free. If you can own at 20, own at 20. Build a life at 20, because that's true freedom. True freedom is ownership. I ain't got— I ain't got to take no deals that I don't want. None. I could tell somebody to eat a big fat bleep if I want to. I can say whatever I want on my, on my, on my Instagram. I ain't— I can't— I, I can say whatever I feel like it because at the end of the day, nobody— first of all, nobody controls my, my, my, my well-being but God and myself. But number 2 is because, you know what I'm saying, like, I'm an owner. Sipping, sipping Crip-a-Cola, consumer and the owner, until we all vertically integrated from the flow up, you know what I'm saying? So I, so I, so I say just own some ish in your 20s, own some ish in your 30s, own some ish in your 40s, own some ish in your 50s, own some ish. Because if you own some ish, you could do whatever the blood fire you want to do. So that, bayan, bayan, that's my, that's, that's my advice and I'm sticking to it. Somebody might— like, somebody might tell you different. Somebody might tell you different, and that's their experience. I'm not saying I'm right, but I'm— but, but I'm sure— but I sure hell know it worked for me. I, I'm sure— I'm sure I, I'm happy that in my 20s I wasn't in the club every weekend, because no disrespect to nobody, but my— but my— but some of my guys that were, you know what I mean, that was popping in the club They still trying to figure it out. I ain't trying to figure out nothing. I'm, I'm trying to figure out who, who I donate this 10% to, you know what I'm saying? You know what I mean? Like, like, what, what, what I said, what you call money, I pay more in taxes. And I ain't even stunting though. I'm not even stunting. This ain't even a stunt. But I'm just saying that I, I got, I, I got all, all the guys that was popping bottles, and no disrespect to y'all, respectfully All the guys that were not all of them because some of my guys are still still you know what I'm saying when I say my guys I'm just saying people I know because you know what I'm saying like you know but but there's dudes that that that were popping popping VIP all the all the cars girls all that nah nah natty let me stop because I because I don't want to sound disrespectful but what I'm saying is I'm happy that I I was 21 in a suit in a bank, you know what I'm saying? I'm happy, you know what I'm saying? Stand— yo, stand close enough to Ash, smell like a bank vault still, you know what I'm saying? Stand close enough to Hoes, smell like a kilo still. Stand close enough to Ash, smell like a bank vault still. First, first VP at 24. I need no deal. Already a hood legend. I need no shine. You know what I'm saying? First, first, first Rollie studded out. I need— I ain't see no time. You feel me? But, uh, that's it. My fault. You know, you know, I go off. My fault. Um, advise me or What steps would you advise for better time management? Just priorities. Read the book, read the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has this quadrant, right. And let me read it to you real quick. It has this quadrant that is important, right. So, the quadrant is a 4-level quadrant. And so, they have this quadrant, it's called— and you could Google it, it's called the management matrix, Pink Sapphire. It's called the management matrix, right. And the management matrix says that there are 4 categories. You have what's important and then you have what's not important, right. Then you have what's urgent and important, then you have urgent and not important. Then you have not important and urgent and not important and not urgent, right. And so, focus on— you have the important things, right. You have important things that are urgent. You have a crisis that's important and urgent. You have medical expenses or medical emergencies. You have pressing problems, deadline-driven projects, last-minute preparations for scheduled activities. Those are all important things And they're urgent, right. But then you have the— it's not urgent, but it's important, right. Preparation, planning, prevention, values, exercise, relationship building, time, right. So, you need to focus on the things that are important but not urgent, and you schedule those things. And then you manage the things that are important and urgent. Right. And so here's the, the not important things. You avoid them, get rid of them. So if it's, if it's not important and it's, and it's urgent, and it's not important and it's not urgent, avoid them. Run. Interruptions, calls, mails and reports, meetings, uh, pressing, uh, matters, uh, popular activities, trivia, junk mail, Time wasters escape, right? So read the book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It's really dope. Stephen Covey breaks down the whole blueprint. But I would say that is the biggest step that you could do for time management. Where we at? Where we at? New Avi alert. Good morning, Living Wiser. What up? What up, Kiana? We see you in the building. Mailbox Money Monster, you already know what that is. I Am Coach Cash, what up? Salute, salute. I know I'm saying your, your, your, uh, your, your Afiya. I think it's Afiya. Salute, salute, queen. Thanks for tapping in. Um, let's see, let's see, let's see. Uh, Karen, uh, you would have to be open to letting go of all that is keeping you down. And then allow yourself to receive the confidence you seek in abundance. Big facts, I agree. I approve that message. Styles Lewis in the building. Totally see my parents in me, good and bad. I enjoyed your live last night. Salute, salute. The need to belong. Man, if you could get rid of bad memories, I'd be even more unstoppable. Big facts. I'm working on that too. We all working on it. Um, Buddha Blast, what up? D Amazing, what up? Nicole, what up? Tuned in just in time. Salute, salute. Um, have to take layers off. Uh, that's a good book actually. Uh, say that, Ash, period. Unapologetic. Talk about it. Simple as that. Uh, beyond the need to belong. Negative vibes Just have a really bad effect on me. Then I end up fighting more to release the negative. I never wanted to intake in the first place. So Kiana, let me let me let me let me help you out real quick. Now, whatever you fight is what you want. What you resist will persist, right? And so, you know, I always say let let the negative pass by, right? Pardon me. Don't say yes to it. Don't say no to it. Don't— anything that you don't want, turn your attention. Do not say yes to it, do not say no. There's a reason for that. If you see something that you don't want and you give energy to it— I actually say that, like, if I catch myself being negative, I say, oh, universe, I'm not saying yes, I'm not saying no. Because what you resist will persist. So, when negative vibes come in, I say, oh, Go ahead, fam, you could go. Yeah, walk past. I'll let it walk past because focusing on anything, right, fighting against anything is like fighting against obesity, fighting against drugs, fighting against anything that you're fighting against is staying in your consciousness, right. Focus on what you do want, you know what I'm saying. Awareness is key. You know, I needed that. Thanks. Salute, salute. Let's see, let's see, let's see. I will never dim my light to make others feel comfortable. Facts. You're feeling it. Let's go. Bayan, Bayan. Respect freedom. Speak not too far. Keep it real. Needed. Oh, that was when I was cursing. My fault. But I felt that. LOL. That's why I'm not. I'm out here solo right now. Always said, and honestly, here's the other thing. I'd rather be by myself than be around, right? Right. Think about this. I'd rather be by myself than be around some fake-ish, some fake people, fake time, right? I'd rather be by myself because because now I don't you know what I mean? I'm like that did that's actually not a bad thing. Like being by yourself is not a bad thing. You know what I'm saying? Like I'd rather be by myself. Like I I'm not. will never, right? I've done it before, so that's why I can say with all clarity that I only want to be in circles that are loving, right? Any hate, any competitive, none of that. I don't want to be part of none of that. So I only focus on love, and if it's just love for myself, and that's what it is, you know what I'm saying? Um, damn, what up? Shook Seven in the building. Um, uh, tune out. You gotta have tunnel vision, focus like a, like a locust. Big facts. Salute, Laco. Uh, everything that settles hits the bottom. Big, big, big facts. Go off, Ash. Salute, salute. Uh, everything that settles hits the bottom. Bars, mic drop. Yeah, that's a word. Uh, you see the same people on the way up that you, that you do on the way down. I, I don't receive that because ain't no down for me, fams. But I get what you're saying because I may not, may not, may not, may not, may not respect, may not, may not speak about no down. There is no down, only up. Wa wa guan mi mayan. Blessed youth, legacies in the building. Salute, King. You either in the live or you tuned in. Big facts. Stay in alignment. Don't be arrogant. Big difference between cocky and confidence. Don't settle. Keep rising. Big facts. Confidence is not having to put anyone down. Big facts. Big big big cash facts. I lift myself. Lift myself to uplift others. Even that's not your job, you know what I'm saying? Like, all your job is, is to demonstrate God. And hear what I'm saying, Bayan, is that sometimes when you're intentionally trying to help other people, you could potentially be forgetting about yourself, you know what I'm saying? And I'm just saying that from experience. Like, I've been in places where I felt like it was my job to uplift others, and then, and then I stopped being myself. I started focusing so much on other people that it became a job, it became a chore, it became tiring. I just live my life. If you're inspired, then you're inspired. If you're not inspired, then pat my back, fam, you know what I'm saying? So, just, you know, just lift yourself, you know, and whoever gets it, gets it. Don't argue for nobody else's limitation because contrary to popular belief, there's people who love the struggle. There's people who love to live in the space that they like to live in, you know what I'm saying? Confidence is walking into a room where you think you're better than anyone else. Confidence is when you walk into a room and don't have to compare yourself. Big facts. Big facts. I'm here for the bars. Thank you for yesterday. Sorry for writing this again. Got kicked out twice. All good. What's for you is for you. That's whack to want somebody else's life. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Let me see who where we at. See because because because this is what happens on Fridays because I can't scroll scroll up fast enough. Hold on for a second. I'mma scroll, I'mma scroll up with my thumb so I can see it. Uh, all right, here we go, here we go, here we go. Uh, it took me this year, uh, to not be afraid to let folks go. Got to. Love me and leave me alone. Absolutely. If people don't appreciate your presence, make them appreciate your absence, right? Um, questions, uh, questions at the top. Uh, that's a motherfucking fact. Uh, don't downgrade yourself to uplift yourself to set the vibrations. Big facts, I agree. Uh, you did your thing, keep it moving forward. D Amazing, salute. Mailbox Millionaires in the building. Yeah, I gotta go check those lives, yo. My fault, man. Um, but I'm, I'm back on it. Grace the DJ. Grace, what up, Grace? Amazing by default. What up? Um, the Lord said he will put you in a room with the mighty people, but don't, uh, uh, but don't, but don't feel small. Big facts, uh, to all MMA goddesses in the building. Scar the earth today with your ancestral power and influence. Look, Legacy's talking that talk. Salute, King. Uh, thanks for answering. Similar story but haven't mastered it. Anyone interested in being part of MMA, please reach out. Uh, salute, salute, salute the queen. Well, I feel honored to be part of a group that is ultimately giving your family more. Nah, facts. Uh, salute, salute the first lady. Salute, salute. Uh, dude, look, if, if you know, you know. Do delegate. Do document delegate. If you know, you know. Uh, Sonny, what up, Sonny? Grand Rising. Yo, Sonny, we— you know what I mean? I know, I know you've been— I know you've been on your grind. We got somebody dangerous for Thursday. Make sure you tap in Thursday. Thursday's, um, you know, Thursday's, um, you know, mastermind is gonna be different. Um, All right, hold on, let me put this— let me put this back, back on the thing because my arms is hurting. Whoa, my fault. Wait, sorry. Oh man, man, dropping stuff. My fault, y'all. Let me be great. My fault, dropping phones. Um, what advice can you give a woman on the grind and dating? I find men are turned off by my work schedule. Which of course for me is a no-brainer. I would say, I would say stop looking for— stop looking for somebody to date. I would say that when you are in energetic alignment with— when you're in energetic alignment with what you're seeking or what you're seeking is also seeking you, right. And so, when you're in energetic alignment with it, Then it will come, right. The right man is not going to be intimidated by— is not going to be turned off by your grind. In fact, if they're turned off by your grind, they're not grinding hard enough, you know what I'm saying. I think that, you know, in full transparency, there was a point where there was like contention within my relationship, let's say, you know. And then as, you know, As we both started walking in our purpose, right. As we start— both started working on our purpose, we started to align better, right. Because at the end of the day, if she's working on her purpose and I'm like idle time is idle mess and I got idle time, then I'm not going to respect her grind. If I'm grinding and she got idle time, she's not going to respect my grind, you know what I'm saying. And so, I think that There has to be that understanding, the same thing, love me or leave me alone. And I think that if you focus on your grind and you focus on who you are and you focus on just kind of, you know, being unapologetically you, I think, you know, I believe that there's somebody that's going to be in energetic alignment with you that's going to appreciate you for exactly who you are. Not— you don't even have to settle. There's going to be somebody that, that, that, that appreciates you for exactly who you are. Think about it, right? Stedman and Oprah. Stedman is busy, Oprah is busy. Sometimes they don't even be in the same state, but they've been together 20-something years, right? Energetic alignment, you know what I'm saying? And so there's somebody for everybody, but you just gotta— you gotta focus on what's your priority. Is your priority finding a person, you know what I mean? Is that your priority? So if it is, then, then pull back on the grind. But if your grind is your priority, then the right person will come, you know what I'm saying? Um, my exact current issue, the fear of not working hard enough, good enough. Yeah, that— yeah, you just be you, you know what I'm saying? Like, like, like, I'll be honest, anytime I feel pressure, I'd stop. Like, anytime, anytime I feel like, oh, I gotta do this, I gotta do this, I, I will, I will turn on Netflix and do nothing. You know what I'm saying? I learned amazing by default. Same. I've learned that I that if they can't handle a busy woman, they aren't the one for you now. Big facts. Finding balance at work, my business, and rest. Put it in God's hands when it flows. God will force it to you. Big fact. What's meant for you is for you, not pressure. Strategies or tips for better time management. I said that. Um, you answered the question. The right one will come. Uh, that's, that's turned on by your schedule. Do what makes you happy. Stay blessed. All right, there we go. Um, exactly. Stop the hyperbole. First to show you unconditional love. Real spill. Make things bigger than what it is. Prayer diffuses that. Uh, tell them, Ash. No judgment. Instant freedom. God is like a— yeah, facts. God is like a kindergarten teacher. I'm damn mad late. Uh, yes, can, uh, can you send that to me? Uh, yeah, I'll send that to you. Uh, God, family, community. He stopped wanting to exchange time for money. Big facts. Um, the culture shift was pioneered by Wells Fargo when, uh— not honestly though, that's not even true though, uh, People's Therapist. Uh, it didn't— it actually didn't even start with Wells Fargo. Um, it started before Wells Fargo. I, I, so, so that— so I'm not just, just for— I'm not— there's this one bank, it's a big-ass bank that it started with, then it, then it went to another bank, and then, and then it became a bank-wide thing. So, so I was in the game, so I know Wells Fargo is late. We've been doing that. We've been jacking numbers. Been. Um, it's just that Wells Fargo— well, you know, Wells Fargo is hot potato. Well, Wells Fargo just got caught, got caught. The music stopped and they had, they had the, they had the bag in his hand. That's all. It didn't start— it wasn't Wells Fargo. It was, it was, it was others. I prop on everything. I, I was at the beginning. I, I, you know, I mean, I'll be honest, 100%. I sold home equities that I— you know what I mean? Like, I was part of the housing crash. Full transparency. I was number 3. I was number 3 in my district for home equity loans to people that I never saw. I was burning and churning. Respectfully, I mean, it's not respect— allegedly, right? So I don't want nobody to come after me. Allegedly. Allegedly, I was part of the problem. That 2008, 2009, um, uh, Market crash, allegedly. Allegedly. So it didn't start with Wells Fargo, I promise you that. They just, they just got caught with the bag in their hand, you know what I'm saying? Um, uh, when it's more about, uh, it's being transactional. Oh yeah, all right, so that's— we right there. My fault, I'm mad late on these comments though. My fault. So glad I joined. The Legacy Lady, what up? Yes, I needed to hear that. I'm going through that this right now. Ash, you have to post this live. Heard you, posting it. Um, cheers to that, sis. Salute, salute, salute. Especially when you, when you get on that General Tso's chicken with the lo mein noodle joints. Look, uh, the point of power is present. Uh, that's so me, LOL. Done so many different things that I had to realize, uh, they are just chapters. So So far ahead of my time, I'm about to start another life. Look behind you, I'm about to pass you twice. Back to the Future, gotta, gotta speed up for the present. I'm fast. I mean, uh, did you try signing up for those affiliate sites? Um, Sing Ash.
