8.21.20- The Ash Cash Show

In this episode of the Ash Cash Show, host Ash Cash opens with his usual high‑energy welcome and immediately dives into a practical marketing case study involving his friend DJ Big Jeff’s brand‑name website. Ash explains why confusing, hard‑to‑remember URLs hurt sales and demonstrates how he consolidates all of his offers under a single, memorable domain (mindrightmoney.com) with custom short links (ashcashbooks.com, ashcashbookcourse.com, ashcashtv.com, etc.). He stresses that without sales and marketing a product is worthless, drawing on his banking background to illustrate the need for daily sales targets. The show then shifts to a “Freestyle Friday” segment where Ash reads the day’s market headlines, answers live audience questions, and offers advice to DJs on monetizing during lockdown, emphasizing the importance of diversifying income streams beyond time‑for‑money work. He walks listeners through creating a limited‑edition shirt using print‑on‑demand services (Printful), from design to Shopify integration, and issues a challenge: anyone who posts a shirt for sale before he does will receive a bulk purchase from Ash. Throughout, he shares motivational quotes, shouts‑outs to community members, and briefly touches on broader topics such as cooperative economics, reparations, and the impact of unemployment on minority communities. The episode ends with a reminder to follow his podcast, YouTube channel, and website.

All right, welcome, welcome, welcome to the Ash Cash Show every Monday. Y'all not gonna be able to hear me like that. Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to the Ash Cash Show, uh, every Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 9 AM Eastern Standard Time. Tell a friend to tell a friend, uh, make sure you go to theashcashshow.com, subscribe to our podcast, uh, make sure you go to ashcashtv.com, subscribe to the YouTube channel. Yeah, it's Friday. It's Friday. It's Friday. It's Friday. Good morning, y'all. Good morning. And so if you watching live, you see, you know, I tried to talk with the with the mask on, but I can't. I can't. I can't get the mask. But it but the but the hat say trap, right? Take risk and prosper. My my guy Big Jeff is is the per. See, I gotta. We gotta talk though, because I gotta actually help him out with, um, getting, um, the— what do you call this thing— the, the website, uh, because I always forget, uh, where is the, um— I always forget the website to send people to. So it's x— it's x11.com. So I'm gonna tell y'all right now where y'all could get this from, um. All right, so it's um, so it's it's XXIXE. Like it's it's just like man, I'm I'mma type it right. Um, but now no, you know what? Come next week, we gonna we gonna we gonna clean this up because um the website is tough, right? The website is XXIXEL11VEN.com. Right, and I noticed it. So, DJ Big Jeff is a friend of mine, he's like my brother, you know. And he— I noticed significance around why he named the company that. But every time I wear this and somebody asks me to like where I get it from, it's hard to tell them where to go, right. And so, not picking on my guy because I been should have told him this, but I just never told him. So, I'm not even picking on him, but I'm just using this as an example. And this is like a teachable moment for everybody. A lot of times we like to do stuff because it has significance to us, but you got to understand when you're starting a business, right. When you're starting a business, the point of the business is to— is for your consumer, is to make it easier, you know, for you. Like, you're selling to your consumer, so you got to make it easier for your consumer. And so, if you're beholden to a brand That may not necessarily translate well with the consumer, you might be missing sales, right? Because again, everybody like I had a lot of people who asked me like, "Yo, where you get the hat from? You get that from?" And each time I got to be like, "Yo, go to XXIX11E11V." Like, like it's it's not a it's not easy to tell people where to go, right? And so here's a trick though too. Here's a trick. And y'all, and I've given y'all— I want to order 2 for my son. Now I got you. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to help him, or maybe I'll just do this as a gift. Maybe I just don't even tell him, maybe I'll just do it, right. But I'm going to give you all this jewelry, right. The reason why I have multiple websites, like if I'm promoting something, it all goes through one website, right. All goes through mindrightmoney.com. You go to resources and all of my stuff is there. Right, I can easily just tell people go to mindrightmoney.com, hit the resources tab, and whatever you're looking for that I offer, any products or services, you can go there and get it, right? But what happens is, is that people, you know, because I know now that people have a short attention span, you got to make it easier for people to, to, to get stuff, right? So for instance, um, my Shopify store shop.mindrightmoney.com But if I told people go to shop.mymoney.com, it's like they might get it, but they might not get it. And so depending on what, um, depending on what you're buying, I will, I will create a custom URL that redirects to that space, right? So for instance, if I want you to subscribe to my YouTube channel, I could say go to youtube.com/ashcashexantis, right? That's too much. So what I did is I bought the domain name for ashcashtv.com. So in your head, if I tell you go to ashcashtv.com, you're gonna remember, yo, YouTube, Ash Cash, ashcashtv.com. Very simple. Um, Ash Cash writes books. All of my books are on Amazon, but I also sell my books myself. And so my books are on my Shopify store. You could go to shop. Mindrightmoney.com/books, right, to get it. Nobody's gonna remember that. So what do I do? I bought the, the custom domain name for ashcashbooks.com, right? ashcashbooks.com. If you want Ash Cash Books, go to ashcashbooks.com. It's going to redirect you. So I don't have, I don't have different websites. I have one website for everything. But if you want to go, if you want to go To buy my book, instead of telling you go to shop.mindrightmoney.com/books, which nobody's going to remember, go to ashcashbooks.com to get my books, right? So also, right, I have a book course that I offer, and the name of my book course is Mind Right Write Right, right? So it's the Mind Right Write Right book course. And at first I thought it was easy enough. I'm like, yo, go to mindrightwritewright.com and get the book course. No, people were like still asking me, where can I find it? Where can I find it? So what did I do? I bought— it's Ash Cash's book course. So Ash Cash, the brand, is a better or bigger or more popular brand than my company. My company's name is Mind Right Money Management, but more people know Ash Cash than they do know Mind Right Money Management. And so it's all good. And so what did I do? I created a website that says ashcashbookcourse.com. So if you want to get my book course, you go to ashcashbookcourse.com. So what— so why do I say this? As in the words of the great honorable, you know, Andre Hatchett, you know, on a check-in, he says simple wins. And that's a big fact. Do not get so attached to your brand that you're not making it easy for people to get to your brand. Make it easy for people to spend money with you. Make it real easy for people to spend money with you. So my guy Jeff, fast shout out to my guy DJ Big Jeff, right? So Big Jeff got this dope, you know what I'm saying? I'm wearing a shirt, Take Risk and Prosper. I'm wearing a hat. I even got the face mask, but I can't talk with the face mask. but it says trap, you know what I'm saying? And it says, you know, take risk and prosper. So, 2 things, right? 2 things is that number one, his slogan, because he's a DJ, says trap or trap responsibly, right? And then he had, you know, so he— right, so it says trap responsibly, right? And so, he could have easily Had a website that says trapresponsibly.com. That still rerouted to his his business because his business is xxixxe11ven.com, and it has a significance to it though. I know Jeff; that's my brother, right? It has a significance to it. Like it really has a significance, right? Like a personal significance to him. So I'm not knocking the name whatsoever, and I understand why he has it. But again, from a marketing perspective, it's not easy for people to— and I'm telling you from experience, like, every time I wear this, somebody's like, yo, where you get that from? Yo, where you get that from? And I have to stop. It takes me too long to tell people where to get it from, you know what I'm saying? And so from a marketing perspective, he could have definitely had trapresponsibly.com and have everything rerouted to that. He could have had trapgear.com and got— you know what I'm saying? Like, there's a way So people remember, oh yo, I want to get that Trap shirt, you know what I'm saying? You— oh yo, go to trapgear.com. Easy, easy work. Yo, I want to get— yo, I want to get that, you know what I'm saying? I want to get Ash Cash book. All right, go to ashcashbooks.com. Easy, 2 seconds, we good. Yo, yo, what's up? You got that book course? Yo, go to ashcashbookcourse.com. Easy work. Yo, you got a YouTube channel? Yeah, go to ashcashtv.com. Copy that, we good. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, that's a marketing tip for y'all. I want y'all to understand, make it easy for people to shop with you because a lot of times people think, yo, oh, go hit the link in my bio. That's easy too, right? Oh yo, go to iamashcash.com, hit the link in my bio. All right, good money. We could do that. That's why I have everything, you know what I'm saying? So either way, either way I'm good, right? Yo, go to ashcash— go to iamashcash.com. On all my platforms, hit the link in the bio. Everything I offer is there. You know what I'm saying? But even with with the Instagram name, it's like yo, oh yo yo check it out on Instagram. Go to XXI. You know what I'm saying? So you know again, no knock to my guy. Salute to my guy. I understand the significance. But you know, I definitely you know this is a teachable moment for everybody. So I wanted to drop that word on y'all. You know that I that I that I want to make sure. That as we're focused on marketing, so because here's what I want to tell you, right? Here's what I'm going to tell you: without without sales and marketing, you have nothing. Without sales and marketing, you have nothing. I don't care. I don't care how good your product or service is. I do not care how good your product or service is. If you do not have sales and marketing, you you have nothing. Like know, you know, y'all know my background is banking. Like, imagine, imagine there was not one day that I opened up that branch when I was a banker that we didn't get no sales. Because if it was— by, by midday I was checking in. I'm like, yo, what's up? What y'all sold today? What y'all did today? You know what I'm saying? And if, if, if it was— if it was too— you know what I'm saying? If it was too— you know, if there was no Um, you know, if there was no, uh, sales, I'm like, all right, we got— what y'all doing? Get on the phone, go outside. Like, what we doing? There was not one day— there was not one day, not one day when I worked at a bank as a banker— there was not one blessed day that I opened up them doors and we did not have a sale. No matter how big the brand was. If we open those doors and it wasn't no sales by midday though, I wasn't waiting to the end of the day. And anybody, anybody who worked for me before know this, like, I'm competitive. I'm not playing no games. I don't want, I don't want nothing on my name, and I don't want no bosses, nobody calling me asking me like, yo, where's your sales at? So by midday, and my bankers knew, my bankers, my tellers, they knew. They like, yo, Ash not playing, so let me make sure I get my numbers up by midday. So they, they would literally like, yo, yo, what's up? What you, what you got today? What you doing? It's 12 o'clock, you just been sitting here like, like you ain't been, you, you ain't been walking the floor, you haven't been talking to, like, what you doing? That is 12 o'clock and you ain't got no sales. So, so that's saying like, yo, if you build it, they will come. That is not true. You have to, you have to, you have to do sales, you have to do marketing. And the great thing about social media is that it allows you to do it every time, every single time, right? People, it need to be easy for people to find you, easy for people to spend money with you. You give valuable content, people are going to want to rock with you. So if they want to rock with you, make it easy. So I, I drop, I drop a dope quote on Instagram or Facebook and you like, yo, this is dope. Yo, I wonder, yo, who is this guy? Then you hit the link in my bio and boom. The first, like, the first thing is, is, is all call to actions. It ain't, it ain't, it ain't, yo, check me out either. Because I— because once I have your attention, I want your attention. So the first thing I'm pushing is not— is not my, um, it's not my website. You hit the link, I could easily just put my website link in my bio, but, but, but I, I need that call to action, right? The first thing I do is a call to action. You hit the link in my bio, there's a video that says, just in case you don't know who I am, You could watch the video real quick, but everything else under that is call to action. Book Ash Cash, join this, join that, call to action, right? Because, because I, you know, I, you know, I'm not a businessman, I'm a businessman. Like, I'm a business and I provide value, and I know I provide value. That's it. Like, I, I have no qualms about it. I have no— I am not I am unapologetic about knowing that I provide a valuable service that is needed. I provide a valuable service that is needed, and I deserve to be compensated for my service, period. That's it. I deserve that. Like, that's not even something that is a luxury to me. I don't even play that, right? And so, and, and, you know, so, so, so there's call to actions, right? There's call to actions. And so for everybody out there who is, um, who has a product or service and you don't have a link to your bio, then you're not in business. You, you have a hobby, you know what I'm saying? If you, if you have, if you have a, if you have a, a product or service that you offer and you're not pitching it every single day, every blessed day, then you don't have a business, you have a hobby. I'm pitching something every single day. Get out of the mindset that sales is sleazy and nah, because it's one thing, you know, there's this negative connotation about like sleazy salespeople, right? Like, oh yo, I'm trying to— because you're trying to get over. Right? A sleazy salesperson is trying to get over. They want your money without giving value. But if you believe in your product, your product or service, if you believe in what you bring to the table, then it's a pleasure, right? It's a pleasure to do business with you. You know what I'm saying? Like, again, I'm unapologetic. I'm not apologizing for knowing my worth. And it speaks for itself. Google Ash Cash, go to Amazon, look at all of the hundreds, right? Look at all of the hundreds of feedback that people leave for my products or services. You know, I get a lot of testimonials. I don't really post them as much, but I should. But I get a lot of testimonials with people in my DMs, emails, reviews telling how much I helped them, how much I helped them, right? And so at the end of the day, right, at the end, at the end of the day, if you provide value, then, then say that then, right? You provide a product or service and you sitting there like you're not saying nothing about your product or service, you're just posting pictures all day. Then what you doing? You want likes or you want stripes? Or you want— or you want PayPals? Or you— what I'm saying, what type— what type of notifications you want? What type of time you want? What type— what type of notifications you want? You want the like notifications or you— or you want the, uh, or you want the— the PayPal and Stripe notifications? I'll choose the latter. You could save the likes. Like likes don't feed the fam. I'm just I'm just saying, likes don't keep the lights on. You know what I'm saying? Stripes over likes. That's a shirt. We about I'm about I'm about to do that. Stripes over likes. Oh, let me I'm writing. Let me take a picture. I'm I'm doing that. I'm dead. I'm so serious though. Appreciate you, Elegant Eleanor. I might I might I might cut you in. I might. I don't know. I might cut you in. I might. I might cut you in, Elegant Eleanor. That's a shirt. I'm wearing it on Monday. Stripes over likes. We we in the building. I'm triggered, but I'm pause. I'm coming. Stripes over likes. Likes don't keep the lights on. You know what I'm saying? So. Uh, fast shout out to Butter Beans Cool on, on a YouTube check-in. Fast shout out to Annette Randall Coney on the YouTube check-in. LOL, that's for free. Nah, that's value. Don't, don't do that. Don't do that. I'll give you a percentage, you know what I'm saying? Nothing, nothing is free. If you don't cut you in, let us know, you know what I mean? Nah, I got you. I got you. We go, we go, we go, we go put the shirts for sale ASAP. Stripes over likes, go get it. shop.mindrightmoney.com. And watch how fast I move though too. Watch the shirt be up before 11 AM, and I'm posting it, and I'm posting it on my— on Instagram and Facebook, you know what I'm saying? Don Winstead said if you make the shirt before I do Then I'm copping a couple from you. Now salute. Go ahead. And and it's free. Go ahead. Y'all y'all can take it too. It's not even trademark. Take it. You know what I'm saying? Because at the end of the day, you know, it's it's it's who it's who does it the fastest and who could get out to the people the fastest. You know what I'm saying? Eleven a.m. though. Yo, new shirt dropping eleven a.m. Stripes over likes. I might, I might, I might start, I might start working on it right now. Matter of fact, I might cut, I might cut the show short. That's funny, but I like it. Stripe, stripes over likes, you know what I'm saying? Uh, but what, but what stripes giving you, uh, for that free promotion? It ain't free promotion. It ain't free promotion because at the end of the day, right, I'm getting paid for the saying. You got to be quicker than that. Fast shout out to that. Um, But yeah, all right, so, um, I, I don't even— listen, listen, I, I'm not, I'm not even— I, I don't even got, um, I don't even— word of the day, I read— I gave y'all, I gave y'all a whole word, so we not— I'm not doing word of the day. Um, and honestly, man, I don't even feel like reading the news. Which I want— which y'all want to do? Freestyle Friday, man. Fast shot to 106 and Park. Freestyle Friday. Which I want to do? Y'all tell me. I can read the news, we could take some questions. I, you know, I mean, like, what y'all want to do? Freestyle Friday. You dropping within 24 hours? Yo, I'm dropping in 2 hours, yo. The moment I get off here, watch me work, yo. The moment I get up off here, I'm putting a shirt together and we, and we out. The shirt will be available by 11 AM or maybe before. Watch me work. Watch me work. All right, I'm off that. Freestyle Friday, what's up? What questions y'all got for me? Freestyle Friday, because I, because I can read the news. Let me see, let me see what's in the news. Let's, let's, let's, let's see what's in the news. All right, Fem Creator want to see what's in the news. Uh, I'm gonna read it quickly, you know what I'm saying? Uh, markets was up. Um, the, the ink won't even have time to dry. I'ma show you. I'll show you how to do this, son. I'll show you. I'ma show you how to do this, son. Right, how you want it? How you want it? These jeans are $300. These ain't Vizu. This is a Vizu, right? Yeah, I'll show you how to do this, son. I promise you I'm gonna have it up by 11 AM. Watch this. Watch me work, I promise you. Yo, and y'all don't know this about me, but I'm super competitive. I'm super duper competitive. Tell me I can't do something, I'm gonna do it twice. You know what I mean? Buy my CD twice to see me in the streets, just be like, yo, he nice. Tell me I can't do something, I'm gonna do it 2 times, just, just, just, just for kicks. So now, now I feel— even though nobody's challenging me, I feel challenged. And so now, now I'm gonna have the shirt up by 11 AM. Maybe, honestly, maybe by 10, because right, we get off at 9. Maybe by 10 it'll be up, up for sale too. Up for sale too. Watch me work. Um, believe him, folks. Ask— I'm telling you, I show you how to do this, son. I show you, you know what I'm saying? Um, Let me see where we at, where we at. All right, let me read the news real quick, and I'm— because, because Fem Creator asked me for news. So, so, you know, I rock, I rock with Karen, you know what I'm saying? My, my, my Canadian from Jamaica. So real quick, we talk about the news markets. NASDAQ is up 1.06%, S&P 500 up 3.32%, Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.17%. Gold was down 0.53%. 10-year Treasury was down 3.3 basis points. Oil was down 0.72%. COVID-19 cases in the US continue to decline following the jump in June and July. Some European countries, however, are reporting alarming increases in infections, and India could be getting close to herd immunity from the coronavirus, a new study suggests. That's the markets. Jobless claims are back above 1 million. So U.S. weekly jobless claims totaled 1.106 million last week, the Labor Department reported. Uh, economists polled by Dow Jones had expected 923,000 first-time applicants during the week ended August 15th. In the week prior, the tally had dropped below 1 million for the first time since mid-March. Next, uh, USPS email tells managers not to reconnect sorting machines. Um, and so while Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, uh, may be suspending changes to Postal Service operations, it doesn't necessarily mean that machines that have been removed will be put back in use, according to an email obtained by CNN. Uh, next, uh, judge rules against Trump in tax records subpoena fight. A federal judge on Thursday said New York State prosecutors could have access to President Donald Trump's accounting records for criminal investigations, siding harshly against the president. In other news, ex-Trump aide Steve Bannon pleads not guilty in border wall scheme. So President Donald Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon was pulled from a luxury yacht and arrested Thursday on allegations that he and 3 associates ripped off donors trying to fund a southern border wall. Making him the latest in a long list of Trump allies to be charged with a crime. All right, that's it. That's all the news I got for you. I'm gonna open it up for any questions. Freestyle Friday. Maya Sykes in the building. Salute, salute, salute. Don Winstead in the building. YouTube salute, salute, salute. All right, so what we got? Venus Fly Tracks. I love— oh, that's dope. I love that name. See, that's good branding right there. Venus Flat Track says, you better make beats though. Venus Flat Track, you better make beats. If you don't make beats, please explain your name. You better make beats. If you make beats, that's a dope name. Or a DJ. Oh no, you're a DJ, right? Oh yeah, you're a DJ. So yeah, that makes sense. So Venus Flat Track, salute, salute. That's a dope name. So Venus Flat Track says, what do you think is the best way for DJs to monetize while being locked down with coronavirus? Um, the great thing about DJs is what I think. Um, oh, think about the business you're in. Stop— don't think about what you're doing, think about who you're being, right? And, and I, and I say this all the time, so you always got to think about the business that you're in. So that way, if anything ever happens and you have to pivot in your business, you're, you're pivoting, um, your business based on um, the business that you're in. So as a DJ, you're, you're not only responsible for spinning records, you're not only responsible for, you know, uh, you know, for just spinning records. That's not what you do. That's not what you do as a DJ. As a DJ, you actually, uh, make people feel good. That's what you do. A DJ makes people feel good, right? Somebody has a lot on their mind, they want to party, they want to have a good time. Right? Like, like, like, DJ is synonymous with having a good time. And so I would say that look at, look at your skill set. Like, what do you offer, right? Who are you, right? How can you make— how can you, um, you know, uh, allow people to, to, to have a good time? Start to tap into some of the— some of that skill set that's beyond you being a DJ. So, um, you know, maybe You know, think about your set and how you put your set together, right? And then, and then, you know, once you have your set together, you start thinking about, you know, how you could, um, you know, first, um, provide other products or services that you create one time that could pay you over and over again. Because, um, I'm, I'm not, you know, I'm not a— I, I'm not a fan of working for money. I'll be honest. I was gonna— I was gonna backtrack a little bit, but I'm But I'm gonna be honest. So fat shout out to PK Dixon who says, I have several virtual events that have DJs included, right? So salute to that. So I think that's one way, you know what I'm saying? I think that's one way to make money during the coronavirus is really finding these online events and finding ways to DJ. But the problem with that is that you gotta keep finding that. I'm not a fan of that. Anybody who know me, I'm not a fan of that. That's why I write books. I'm not a fan of exchanging time for money. And so as a DJ, you now know the hole in your business. There's a hole in your business model, right? As a public speaker, there was a hole in my business model even though I sold books, but I didn't sell enough digital products because once the country shut down, I stopped being able to, you know, to get speaking engagements. And even this, I still get speaking engagements though, right. I get virtual speaking engagements, but what they pay me is not even close to what I was getting. I just take it because I'm like, yo, I'm in my crib, like I'm in basketball shorts, you know what I'm saying. So I'm like, you know what, it don't matter, you know what I'm saying. I got flip-flops and basketball shorts on, you know, let me take this quick whatever for, you know, for an hour, you know what I'm saying. Like, so I take the money, so I still do virtual conferences, people still pay me to speak, But it's not in nowhere near, not even close to what I would get traveling and getting on stage. So I say that to say that I'm like, all right, this DJ stuff might be good money, but you got to tap into the other skills that you offer, right? Like if you make beats, Get a bunch of motivational speakers together and throw some inspi— right, because people want to feel good right now, right. Like, and I'll be honest with you, like, I'm working on a mixtape. Big facts, right. I got some of my folks who make beats, who send me some beats, and I'm gonna write speeches over beats, right. So that— because people want to feel good right now. So if you make tracks, get a bunch of motivational speakers together, you know, get, get some of your tracks, throw it under that, sell out on iTunes, you know what I'm saying? If, if you, if you, if you are a good writer, you know what I'm saying, you have a technique or something like that, write about your technique. I want you to start thinking Venus Flytrax. I want you to start thinking about something you can do based on your skill. of making people feel good, find something that you could do, create it one time, and keep selling that over and over again. Being a DJ is not sustainable. Not in the way, right, not in the way that you work for money. I don't want— I want you to get— everybody who's listening to the sound of my voice, I want you to get out of the habit of exchanging your time for money. I'm not saying don't do it though, because I still do it. So I'm not being a hypocrite. I'm not telling you don't exchange your time for money, but don't— that cannot be your reliance. If I do no webinars, I'm still good, right? So stop exchanging your time for money. So that's what I would say. Um, Iris says go live to show us how you create the shirt. Maybe. I was thinking about that. Maybe. Because I don't know if I— you know what I mean? I don't know if I want y'all in my business that much. So I might, I might do that. I might. Uh, Keys Fab Life says your energy is fire. I appreciate you. Nova November, what up? Now I'm saying, fast shout out to my guy Nova November. Follow him. So he's one, he's one of, he's one of the people I'm telling you who gonna send me some tracks and we gonna put out some, some, some heat. We gonna put out some heat rocks, right? My guy. So, so, so a prime example. So my guy Nova November is a, is a very talented hip-hop artist, you know what I'm saying? And, and he was making money by going out and performing live. And so now, you know what I'm saying, like, that, that ain't, that ain't hitting. And so he got to figure something else out. And so he make beats, and that— and his joints are fire too. I got one that I'm about to rip up. I got one I'm about to rip. And I'm not a rapper, you know what I'm saying? I'm not a rapper, so I'm not gonna be rapping. I'm gonna be just talking my talk. I just talk that talk. You know what I'm saying? I just talk that talk, and I'm gonna talk that talk over some beats. I'm gonna get you hyped. I'm gonna get you motivated over some over some tracks, and and and when I put it up on CD Baby or whatever whatever I put it up on, my guy is gonna get residuals. Big facts. So now so now he did it one time. He created a beat one time. I'mma talk my ish on it, and then we gonna get paid. Every time somebody downloads a 99-cent track or a $10 track or $10 album of Ash Cash talking ish over a Nova November beat, we gonna get paid. We do it one time though. We do it one time and we get paid over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. That's the game. Stop working for money. Do not work for money. Money works for you. I am the employer. I tell you what to do. You don't tell me what to do. You don't tell me to work and then you pay me. I'm the employer. I don't work for you. Money works for me. I'm the employer. I'm sorry, it's Friday, y'all. Friday. I'm on one. I'm on one. Uh, Jay-Z quotes all day. Yo, I got— yo, I got a whole lot. Yo, I got a whole library of Hov quotes. Like, I got a whole library, you know what I'm saying? Uh, yep, it's our thing, LOL. Take me, uh, talk to me nice, you know what I'm saying? Uh, go live, I might, right? Um, I'd like to know how to make the shirts. I've heard of, um, uh, Cricut, I think, machine, or do you order them? All right, so Nadira, so here's what I'm gonna tell y'all, right? And the reason why I'm gonna be so swift is because I'm doing print on demand. Right, so I'm not even printing the shirts myself. So this— so this— I'm gonna tell y'all, right? So I'm not gonna trick y'all. This is what I'm gonna do. This is what I'm gonna do. As soon as I get off, right, as soon as I get off live, I'm gonna create the design because I know Photoshop. I could pay somebody to do it, but it's an easy design, right? All I need to do is get the Stripe logo, um, get the bar, you know, get, uh, Instagram like, um, you know, uh, uh, heart, and I'm gonna do a Facebook thumbs up, like whatever is, is, is considered the like. I'm gonna get those, those logos or those, those icons, and that's the shirt. Stripe with a, with a bar, like stripes with a bar over, you know what I'm saying? I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna tell you because it don't matter, and y'all can take it if y'all want. Like, I, I promise you, I'm my only competition. So if you want to do it before me, you can. I'm giving, like, live on here, I'm giving you permission to do it. Like, if you think it's dope and you want to do it yourself, do it, right? But I'm gonna take the Stripe logo and I'm gonna put the stripes on there. Then I'm gonna take the bar, I'm gonna put the bar over it, and I'm gonna get all the different like, um, all the different likes, um, icons. So I'm gonna get a heart, I'm gonna get the Facebook thumb, and I don't know what Twitter does, but I'm gonna get all the social media like things, right? And so now stripes over likes. I'm gonna go to printful.com, P-R-I-N-T-F-U-L.com. Printful.com does print on demand. So I'm gonna take that same, that same, um, uh, image, right? I'm gonna take that same image, I'm gonna throw it on Printful. I already have an account with them, already have a store. What's up, my love? I already have a, a, a, a, um, a store. I already have everything. I'm gonna upload it to them and then immediately it's gonna be, it's gonna be available on my Shopify store. Right? And then they give me mock-ups. So now I have a mock-up on a t-shirt that I can start promoting ASAP. And now every time somebody orders it, right, whatever I price it— let's say I price it, you know, let's say I price it at $25. I price it at $25, they print it for $16, right? I get $9 every time somebody buys it. So I don't need to buy nothing. I don't need to buy no machine. I don't need to pay nobody for nothing. All I gotta do is upload it, and now every time y'all buy it for $25, you know, they're printing it for $16, I get $9. So I'm making $9 off an idea that Elegant Eleanor gave me on IG Live. Yo, y'all could bullish with, with this if y'all want. Play if y'all want. It's gonna be ready 10 AM, 11 AM. Stripes Over Likes. Available for sale. Easy work. And and this is what I'm gonna do. I got I got a local shop. I got a local shop that prints shirts for me, right? So I'm gonna go to the local shop and I'm a and I'm and I'm a have I'm a send them the the the the thing and I'm a have and I'm a wear it on Monday. Hopefully they're not backed up because I don't know I don't know how much. time they need. But I'm gonna go to the local shop that does sell shirts in my neighborhood, and I'm gonna give them the design, and I'm gonna print it, and now I'm gonna wear it. I'm gonna wear it on Monday. Easy work. Freestyle Friday, Ash Cash Bars. Like that, you challenge yourself. That's game. Facts. Talk to me nice. I show you how to do this, son. I show you. Um, how's the garden going? Good. Fast shout out to Fifi. Um, so the garden is good. Uh, but we had to, um, we had to wait. Hold on. Um, all street corner will be shut down. Are you sure? No, they trying to, they trying to wrap me up. I'm sorry, y'all. My, my Mac tried to restart on me. Um, yeah, the garden is going good. Uh, but we had to, um, we had to do a fence first, so we, we just built that. Uh, so we, we in the process of, of putting everything else together. So we'll, you know, I'll keep you posted, post some pictures on that. So salute to that. Um, says, I'm putting one up by 10 AM then. All right, let's go, let's go! Yo, yo, let's do this, let's do this challenge though. It, you know, I'm gonna get off at 9:10, I think. I— oh yeah, at 9:10 I'm gonna get off, so nobody start yet. At 9:10, I'ma get off and I'ma and I'ma and I'ma start putting my shirt up. If anybody puts up, I just gave you the game. If anybody puts a shirt up before me with a link ready to buy, I'll buy ten. I'll buy ten of your shirts, right? I just gave you the game. I just gave you the game. At at nine ten, you can't start though. Let's let's let's do the honor system. You cannot start your your process yet. And it can't be something that you already did already. I'm talking about right now from scratch. By 9:10, if you could put up a shirt for sale and DM me the link before I have my link ready, I will buy 10— I will buy 10 of your shirts. Easy work. Let's go, let's go! Let's see who bout it on this Friday. Let's see who bout it, bout it on this Friday. Create your, create your graphic, go to printful.com, create this, your store, and put up the shirt. You do that before I'm done with my shirt, and, and, and I'm buying 10. Buy my CD twice. See me in the streets and be like, yo, he's nice. Let's do that. Go Karen, salute. Uh, he's rapping the news now. Ha, fast shouts to that. Yard Massive, big up, big up, big up all New York's Bronx crew, Queens, New Jersey. Y'all, Juan Caballang speaking and signing off. Same. I heard immunity in India. I don't know that. I didn't know what that meant though. T dot T dot. I heard that there's a COVID-19 credit portion that has been added to our credit scores. If you max out your credit cards, the COVID-19 portion deducts 100 points from your score. Any thoughts? I haven't heard that, so I have to look into that. I haven't heard that, so I'll look into that for sure. Cornerstone Psychotherapy says, where do you see the economy, unemployment, and real estate, especially as it pertains to minorities and people identified as minorities and indigenous people in America? I think that this is a great opportunity. So, I think unemployment is going to continue to To go up. You know, I think people are gonna continue to be unemployed. I think that what happens is, especially in the Black and brown communities, the minority communities, they get hit the hardest. And so I do think that, you know, there's gonna be an issue. But, but, but this is not the time to look at doom and gloom. I'm actually happy about it because we never realized our power anyway. You know, we, we were taking, we were taking the scraps that we were, we were given. When, when all of the, all of the jewelry is in our neighborhoods, all of the, the brain powers in our neighborhoods, all of the business ideas are in our neighborhoods, uh, with, with high unemployment, we're going to be forced, um, to do cooperative economics. And I'm happy about that. Like, I, like, I'm unapologetically happy because, because now it's one of those things that if you don't do it, if you don't do for self, then then you, you, you asked out like fat in bikinis, you know what I'm saying? Fat shot the big, you know what I'm saying? Like, if you, if you don't do for self, then you asked out. And, and, and, and I'm, and I'm not, I'm not saying it like I'm not happy about the potential of people losing jobs. No, I'm happy because it's going to force you fight or flight. You, you got, you know what I'm saying? Like, especially in our communities And so hopefully we take this as a sign, you know what I'm saying, to start practicing cooperative economics. So I do think that the economy is going to continue to suffer because you got to think about all the jobs that are being lost are the jobs that are held by majority, you know, of, you know, Black and brown people. And so we are most at risk. We've always been most at risk. Until you own your own, you can't be free. We've always been most at risk. But this time it's a little more blatant because it's happening widespread. And so we're, you know, we need to— we are the source. We are the source. We the plug, we the outlet. But we keep allowing other people to make us— convince us that we not. Everybody want to be you. You know what I'm saying? But everybody want to be us, we just got to see us. You know what I'm saying? So— Uh, what's the best way for DJs to make money? Wow, we talked about that already. Uh, go live and DJ Instagram. Thank you, haha. I would get on the beat making too. Uh, yes, Venus Producing is a great way to make, um, some money. Fast out to that. Uh, ask people to Cash App you small donations, um, and they inclined to help out. I like that. Talk that talk, Ash. Uh, second question, did you watch the CNN show a few days ago about reparations and how it related to New Orleans? What do you think reparations and minority business factor? I did not watch it. I don't watch CNN. I don't watch news at all. And so I did not watch it. I'm staying away from the reparations talk because 2 reasons. I think that the number that they're predicting is too low. And so they need more than what they're predicting, number one. Number 2, I don't think that the powers that be would ever approve reparations for Black people. I don't think so. I don't think they would ever do it. And that's just my honest opinion. But I also think that if they do do it, there still needs to be education on our part. Like, if we can't do for self and we can't do cooperative economics, if we can't circulate our money within our community, then what's reparations, right? The money is going to go— it's going to be a wealth transfer back anyway. So, you know what I'm saying? That's number 2. And number 3, I think we got to get our house in order first. You know what I'm saying? Like, Um, it's like, it's like a, it's like an athlete, you know what I'm saying? The reason why athletes go broke is because they went from making nothing in high school and then they, and then they became millionaires. Athletes need at an early age to be given, uh, financial literacy, I'm saying. So that's my, that's my thoughts on that. I got 10 more minutes. Uh, salute. Yup. Uh, can you please answer the first question I posted up top when you first opened up the freestyle question section? Thanks, much love. I think I did. Um, because I'm going in order. Uh, me either. I love the organic behavior. Uh, hi Ash Cash, I sent you a message. Uh, please check your DM and reply. Copy that, I'll check it. Uh, I mix people— uh, I mix people's lives. Facts that, um, it's better— it's better if you put it on question box at the bottom. That's a fact though, for sure. But, but, but I'll— but I'll— but I'll scroll up and then, uh, um, and then I'll go to the question box. Uh, people love that lame music under live talks and edit the videos. Think bigger. Facts of that. The grind never stops. Facts of that. Uh, I blessed the day I invested in your platform because— oh, we got— yo, yo, this is my first time seeing us, uh, one of the Forex scammers, uh, in my, uh, in, in my live. Yo, that's crazy. Yo, Callo535 just scam— just, just spam me. I never seen seen a spammer in my in my live comments. Yo, that yo y'all getting crazy with it now. Yo, y'all going crazy. It's volume game. Fast shout out to that. Uh, if you create a playlist, one on Shopify. Absolutely great word. Thank you, Ash. I hear you. This is what lockdown is teaching me. I'm working for money. Facts to that. Create exposure. Facts. Where we at? Where we at? LOL. Great, great word. Appreciate the answer. Salute, salute. Yup, I got beats for you. You'll send after this. Let me get those. Can you please answer my question up top? Yo, Cornerstone, chill out. Cornerstone, like, you know what I'm saying? Cornerstone Therapy, like, what's up with you? I'm saying, like, you know, Freestyle Friday, put it, put it in the box. And I think I answered them already. Um, dope, dope, dope. Talk to them. Hey, hot fire like Dylan. Uh, talk to them, big bro. Uh, we might have to give them a track every week. We might have to. Why not? Why not? Uh, talk to him, talk to them. Hype. Okay, let me dig up some beats for your speech. Facts of that. I was here from the beginning, so they know. Yeah, my guy. Yo, yo, fast shot to my guy Nova November. Yo, yo, I've known Nov. Nov has always been a, uh a boss though too. So, fast shout out to him. I want to say, man, I forget how long ago, probably like 11— I want to say 11, 12 years ago, I was managing a branch in 125th Street. I was the manager of a Carver Bank. And so, I'm the boss walking around. My guy Nova, he's a teenager, he's probably like 15, 16, maybe 14. I don't know how old he was. Walked into the branch like a boss, like, yo, what up? People following him. It was dope to see. And since then, that's been my brother. We actually share the same birthday too. You know, first birth date, you know what I'm saying? So, uh, speak preach Phoenix Fly Track. What up? What Ash is saying, I did and it changed my life from a kid. Facts of that. Uh, put your questions in the question box next to the comment box. It's on. Okay, Ash, it's Friday. Talk that talk. Uh, I'm the employer. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we talking talk. Uh, indeed, works for me. It's been 10+ years and Ash changed my mind on how to approach my work. Big, big facts. That's the homie right there. Printify or Printful is better? I've never used Printify before, so I just know Printful. Printful has worked for me, especially because it integrates with my Shopify very well. So I've never used Printify before. So if somebody has experience using Printify, let me know. My 4-year-old is locked in, LOL. She is focused on this video. Ah, fast shout out to that, you know what I'm saying? You know, teach the youth them. Salute to the 4-year-old. Salute to the young boss in training. Yo, that makes— yo, that just warmed my heart. Love JA29. That just warmed my heart, yo. Salute, salute to the youth them. Um, uh, Cricut is a physical product, uh, you make at home. It provides iron-on but not a good quality and takes a long time. Ash got the answer. So salute, salute, salute to Karen for that. You got the vision. Printful.com, they've been backed up during quarantine, but I think their print times are a bit better now. That's a fact. They have been backed up for sure. Vision equals execution equals success. Salute to that. PayPal is my only pal. How that sound, Ash? That's all right. It don't got the same ring as Stripes over, over likes, you know what I'm saying? PayPal is my only pal. It's all right, it's not bars like, like stripes over, over, over likes though, you know what I'm saying? Uh, you just put me on game, dropping knowledge. Yo, yo, free jewelry! Catch the jewelry! Yo, if they— I'm telling you, if they— if they— if my— if my local store could print it, I'm doing it. I'm gonna wear it on Monday. LOL, your son is in the background. Oh, y'all heard my son? Uh, so my guy, my guy Stick, uh, has a, has an album called, uh, Workout 2. And so every time we listen, we listen to the, to the, you know, there's, there's a part where he's like You know, you are successful, you can do it, blah, blah, blah. He's like, easy work. And so that's how we get that from. Can you talk about how, uh, to create content? Um, that, that's too broad. Give me specifics, Joyce. That's too broad on how to create content. Like, what type of content, you know what I'm saying? So that's like a broad question. So, um, Ash, I just joined the challenge. Let me call my print lady. Facts of that. I want you to put it up and I want other people to buy it, you know what I'm saying? Um, nah, you got to post this live on IG so I can hear the steps again. All right, I'm gonna post it. Should I post it? I don't know, maybe I'll post it. Your son is giving me life. About it, about it. How long does it take to create the account on Printful though?
