8.27.21 - The Ash Cash Show

In this episode of the Ash Cash Show, host Ash Exantus walks listeners through a two‑day, back‑to‑back shooting marathon for his digital TV series Inside the Vault, describing the high‑production TV set, call‑times, and a guest lineup that includes heavy‑hitters such as Judy, Mickey Faxx, and many others. He emphasizes the importance of a strong crew, sponsorship talks, and a potential migration of the show to the Fanbase platform. Throughout the broadcast Ash interweaves his money‑mindset philosophy—viewing money as a tool, the law of attraction, and the need to shift from “gimme” to service—and spiritual teachings from Denzel Washington and Wayne Dyer about purpose, non‑attachment, and trusting God’s plan. The episode also features live audience interaction, badge‑love shout‑outs, promotion of Mind Right Radio (app and website), and multiple calls‑to‑action for listeners to follow the show on various digital channels.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Ashcast Show, every Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 9 AM Eastern Standard Time. Tell a friend, tell a friend. Uh, make sure you go to theashcastshow.com, subscribe to the podcast. Uh, go to ashcasttv.com, subscribe to the YouTube channel. Um, my voice done. So I had a great— um, so yeah, so I'm back. So it's crazy, but because like And the grind is real. I love it though. I had a powerful, powerful, powerful 2 days. Um, so for those who don't know, um, I was shooting Inside the Vault, um, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday actually. So, um, on, yo, Tuesday, um, I dare to say, I dare to say, I'm, I'm not sure, I dare to say that on Tuesday, um, we shot an episode that, that, that would make history. Uh, we shot an episode that I, I don't think anybody has, has, has interviewed, um, this person, right? I don't think anybody has interviewed this person in the way that this person was interviewed. Like, I don't Yo, if I dare say so myself, I really think this is like exclusive. I really think that this is like, um, I don't think there's no— yeah, yeah, I can almost guarantee there's no, there's no interview of this person in the way I interviewed this person. I don't believe that. I don't believe it at all. It's like, it's, it's so like mind-blowing. Um, and so Tuesday, that's what we did. Uh, we had that interview, um, Wednesday, Thursday, um, yeah, man, it was— I, we had— I, I can't even say all the people we had in the building. I mean, you know, at first, at first I was like secretive or whatever, and, you know, so I was telling people not to post pictures or whatever, but I realize now that being inside the vault is a vibe, you know what I'm saying? So some of the people, if y'all— if we follow, uh, we had CJ. What up, my G? Uh, if we follow the same people, um, you know, a lot of, a lot of them, um, you know, some of them that was in inside the vault, uh, kind of reposted. But it's all good though because y'all, you know, like when I tell you like the power in the room is, is, was crazy. So we had a great, uh, 2-day shoot, um, and so just so y'all know, so we, we shoot like, uh, um, we shoot like we have a whole television crew, so we don't— you know, like, like Jim Rohn said, um, Jim Rohn said, work for the job you want, not the job you got. You know what I'm saying? And so while a lot of people run around here, um, and call themselves podcasters, I don't. I'm not a podcaster. You know what I'm saying? Um, I have a digital television show that just happens to be, um, you know, um Translated or put on a podcast, podcast platform. But I ain't no podcaster, you know what I'm saying? I have a digital television show, and so anybody who who has ever been on that set knows it's a whole. Hey, Lo, thank you for the badge love. Yo, sis, I hear you doing your thing. I need I needed some of that. You know what I mean? I need some of that energy. Um. You know what I mean? So, so anybody who's ever been on my set knows that we have a whole television set. Like, it's a whole set. I gotta, I gotta, I got a whole set. We got a whole crew. Um, everything. We got everything. Like, you, like, you're not gonna be able to tell the difference between, you know, you know, Inside the Vault and other shows, you know what I'm saying? Like, other shows that are on TV because we actually use You know what I'm saying? Same equipment, you know what I'm saying? Same, you know what I mean? And, and, and so, um, uh, you know, a lot of people— and, and the reason why I'm saying this though is because this, right? And so because, because of the level of production is why, is why, um, I actually shoot back to back, like, you know what I'm saying? So a lot of episodes y'all see, um, I don't do one episode and that's it. A lot of times you You know I'm stacking them back to back. You know what I'm saying? Because the production can get except you know what I'm saying? Time to talk to who? That's a fact though. We we we talking though. Hey Slim God, peace and blessings my G. We talking though and and that and and I was you know what I'm saying? So so here's the deal though. It's funny because we go back to back. So on Wednesday I did six interviews right? And then on Thursday I did six interviews right? And so what did that what did that mean? That mean That, um, and I'm giving y'all the behind the scenes, right? That means that, um, my call time was 10 AM, right? Oh no, my call time was 9, right? Which is why I couldn't do the show because, um, you know, I'm still, um, I'm still hopping around, you know what I'm saying? I'm still hopping around and so I need the extra time to get ready, you know what I'm saying? So I need the extra time to get ready. Um, you know, and then, uh, once I, you know, get ready, I had to go. So I couldn't do the show because, because of that. Rock Girl, top of the morning, thank you for the badge love. Um, and so, and so what happens— what happened was, um, call time is 10, so I interviewed somebody from 10 to 11, let's say. Um, half an hour, uh, break, which is not a break because they got to do drops and all that stuff. And then the next person come. Then then I do eleven to twelve, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? Eleven thirty to twelve thirty. Then next person come, you know what I mean? And so, um, yeah, we literally literally did uh twelve episodes in two days. But here's the kicker though. Here's what I'm gonna tell you. Let me tell you why why is even a big deal. Why I was even passionate about this. You know what I'm saying? Um, Saba Michelle, thank you for the badge love. Ash, please read my DM when you get time. All right, copy that. Uh, so, uh, misunderstood. Yeah, I got a lot of DMs though, I'll be honest with you. I don't be knowing how to keep up no more. I don't know, I might— I don't know, I gotta figure out. Y'all might have to send emails, I don't know, because— but that's— but it's crazy because I tell people send emails, then my email is going to be packed. I don't know, I'll be getting a lot of DMs, yo. I might have to— I don't know, I have to hide some. I just go through them. Uh, More Mindy, what up? Where's CJ? Thank you for the badge love. Um, I was on Jessica DuPart live when she pulled up to you. Oh, okay. Look, if you know, you know. Um, if you know, you know. Fast shot, fast shot to my— for my— to my sister Brat. Uh, so a lot of people don't know, like, you know what I mean? You know, the Brat is my— is my sister, like, for real. Uh, you know, you need a VA. Um, yeah, I think I need— yeah, I think I need to because I, I'm telling you, like, they be— they be They be going crazy. Um, but yeah, you know what I'm saying? And so, and so, and so, um, I mean, I mean, since I, since I let the cat out the bag— hey yo, that Judy episode crazy though. Yo, wait, wait till y'all see the Judy episode. Like, I don't think, I don't think y'all understand how powerful that woman is though. I don't know, man. Like, like, I'm telling you, she a powerhouse, you know what I'm saying? And Um, man, you know, salute to Judy, salute to the Brett. Um, yeah, and it's so crazy, I'm telling you, so crazy because, um, so on that, I think, I think, I think we did Judy on Wednesday, right? We did Judy on Wednesday. Um, and when we did, when we did Judy, um, she was my last episode, matter of fact. So that means I've been— I was interviewing, right? I was interviewing since 10 AM. Right? So what does that mean? That means I interviewed five other people before I interviewed Judy, right? So think about that though, right? Think about that. Hey yo, every LOL yes Corey said your name out loud in that live, so we knew it was you. That's all good. It's all good. That shout out to my guy Corey who pulled up. That's it. So salute salute to the fam. Um, but like, the thing is though, right? The thing is, is that when y'all see the interviews, yo, y'all don't even understand that I gotta give the same energy every interview. So you don't even see that, I'm saying. Um, you know, you don't even see that, you know. I appreciate you, uh, Stakes, for sure. Patrick Watkins, thank you for the badge up. So y'all don't even see That by the time, like, I gotta meditate, I gotta get my mind together and then give you the same energy every show, you know what I'm saying? So, and so, uh, when I watch the shows, I'll be like, damn, yo, like, people don't even realize the behind the scenes, you know? So that, so that's a blessing. Um, and the great thing about it is because, you know, we gotta, we got a strong team. Um, and so I promise you, I could not, I could not do it myself. Um, you know what I'm saying? You know, you know, my, my God, you know, my God. Uh, what we gonna— oh, look, look, look, look, look. See, I don't know if y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all was peeking, peeking. Uh, Ken Caesar says, what we gotta do to make Fanbase the next TikTok? We had Ike Dirty in the building too. See, look, I'm, I'm snitching this time. We had, we had Ike Dirty in the building too. So you'll, you'll You'll see. You'll see what the call to action is, Ken. We you know what I'm saying? That was like a. I don't know if you saw that that my bro my brother Ike Dirty pulled up, but we had Ike Dirty in the building. You know what I'm saying? Top of the morning. Peace and blessings, sis. Salute, salute, salute. Um, you know what I'm saying? So we had we had Ike Dirty in the building, and so it's I'm telling you like there's so much power that came through. You know what I'm saying? These last two days. Um, Fanbase, y'all. I mean, but I gotta, I gotta, I got a Fanbase episode dropping soon, so I— so if y'all like, I'm about to move everything over to Fanbase. If y'all know what Fanbase is, uh, I think, I think y'all should, you know what I'm saying? I think that we should, um, yeah, maybe I'll move the Ash Cash Show to the Fanbase so that way, you know what I'm saying? But we'll, we'll see. Um, but yeah, you know what I'm saying? There's a lot of, um Uh, bet. I'm happy to hear, uh, that I'm always on YouTube watching Inside the Vault. Now salute. Now I got some— we got some— we got some powerful, uh, episodes, man. And the thing is, yo, salute to the team though. I'm telling you, man. Um, salute to the team. Salute to King Rich. Salute to Jamal and his team. Salute to Jackie. Um, man, like I'm telling you, like, like this, um, if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Um, you know, we, we've been talking, we've been talking, uh, to like, um, some, uh, sponsorship.
We—
Rich Kid, what up, my G? Uh, we've been talking to sponsors, we've been talking to, uh, some TV executives. Um, so if it makes sense, you know, because sometimes, some— sometimes, sometimes TV might seem like the next best thing, you know what I'm saying? But sometimes it don't. Sometimes the money ain't right. I'm saying? Because, because when we do TV, ain't just me, you know what I'm trying to say? Like, like when we do TV, it's not just like, yo, um, you know what I'm saying? You got to pay the talent. Like, I'm not just talent, you know what I'm saying? Um, you know, uh, I can't wait to find out what the vault is. Oh, yo. Oh man. Hey yo, uh, it's Spaz Marvel. I gotta— I got a digital television show called Inside the Vault that Ash Cash. Uh, it drops every Thursday, 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. Uh, you go to insidethevaultshow.com, you can follow @InsideTheVault. Uh, you go to Earn Your Leisure YouTube channel and catch it there. You can go to, uh, the podcast iTunes, Spotify. Um, and you could, um, you know, you could, uh, you know, you could, uh, subscribe, right, to the podcast. Uh, but we've had some heavy hitters on there. We've had, uh, Candy Burrus on there. We've had Um, uh, Kirk and Rashida Frost. We've had Alex Good Energy. We've had my brothers from EYL. Uh, you know, Maddie J was on there. Uh, we had, you know, King Neo on there, which we got to do Neo again. Um, who else we had? We had Deb Anthony on there. Uh, we've had, um, David Banner was on there. We had, uh, the the God Julian Gordon on there. We've had— who I'm missing? Who else? Who else? Um, who else I'm missing? I know I'm missing mad people. Um, we had a lot of, a lot of, a lot of, you know what I mean, like some, some heavy hitters. Mr. 2 Weeks Out was on there. The Gooch was on there. Josh Crisp was on there. Uh, Doug Depp was on there. Uh, my brain blacking out. Who else? Uh, Derek Grace, DG, was on there. Stormy was on there. Um, who else I'm missing? I got Doug. Oh yeah, uh, Married to Medicine. We had Dr. Heavily. Um, you know what I'm saying? We had Mickey Faxx Thursday. We had Thursday, we had Mickey Faxx on there. Um, who else I'm missing?
Coach—
yeah, Coach Stormy, Alex Good Energy. It's fire though. We— I'm telling you, it's the greatest money mindset. Oh, Wall Street Trapper. Big—
the Big Trap.
We had the Big Trap on there. We had Pushman Mitch on there. Um, yo, crazy, you know what I'm saying? Um, yeah, we had fire on there. Oh wait, come on, chill, D Waters. We ain't dropped that yet, man. Come on, chill, man. I'm gonna say— I'm about to say, wait. Yeah, Inky coming. Chill, man. We ain't dropped that yet. We ain't dropped that yet.
Hold on.
We talk about what dropped. We had Jeremy Anderson on there. You know what I'm saying? We had Jeremy Anderson on there. Um, you know, I'm telling you, we got, uh, we, we got, we, we got, we got, we got some heavy hitters. We got, we got a lot in the, in the vault though too, you know what I'm saying? We got a lot in the vault, you know what I'm saying? Um, we working on Rick. We got, you know, the, the, the super big guests, we gotta, um, schedules be crazy though. But, uh, we, we gonna get Rick Ross in there, you know what I'm saying? We're gonna get Rick Ross in there, in God's will. Uh, yep, Kirk and Rashida. Um, we got a lot in the vault. We about to drop some heavy hitters soon though too. So we got a lot of heavy hitters in the vault, you know what I'm saying? I ain't gonna say anybody name, but we got, we got some, we got some, we got some power. You got the God Julian Gordon is in there for sure. Um, yeah, Marquell Russell. We have my guy Marquell Russell, the King of Client Attraction, was in the building. Um, yeah, but I'll tell y'all, we got some— yo, we got some heavy hitters who, who said yes. We just got to make sure the schedule's together. But that's what I'm trying to say, like, when you got a team though, that's what I'm trying to say. Like, when we first started, we was kind of like pulling favors and all that. Now we got like an official team. Yo, fast shout out to Jackie O. If you don't know, we got a veteran on the team now. Yo, she— I'm— yo, her Rolodex long. So when I, when I tell you we got, we got some heavy hitters who say yet So we look, we got Akon is on the list. We got Akon on the list. Do I do I do I do I do I tell y'all? Nah, let me wait. But so far so far because I because you know anything could go any different different way. But we've been in talks. You know what I'm saying? We've been in talks. Yeah, David Banner Jump was crazy. That's one of the best interviews we did. You know what I'm saying? Um. But now I'm telling you, yo, when I tell you we got— yeah, Jackie's a beast. Fast shout out to Jackie. Yo, y'all gonna see, watch. I'm telling you, I can't— like, oh, I could show you more than I could tell you. That's all, that's all I'm gonna say. I could tell you— I could show you more than I could tell you, you know what I'm saying? So, um, yeah, and so you gotta, you gotta have a team. Um, man, I wish I could tell you some of the names that we've been talking to. Um, he's on the list. Eric Thomas is on the list. Oh yeah, we had PTG 365 on there. Um, look, look, look, look, look, I'll be playing cool, but when she be dropping names, I'll be like, nah, I'm telling you. Hey yo, hey yo, hey, hey yo, remind— I'ma, I'ma, um, yo, I'm, I'ma, I'ma, I'ma, I'ma put you in on a Google Doc. Yo, if you saw that Google Doc, bro, it's crazy. Like, I'm talking about like I'm telling you, man. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Yeah. Your team and tribe matters. You know what I'm saying? And and and that's the thing. Um. And I'll we we'll we'll get we'll get we'll get into some smoke. But that's the thing though. Here here's what here's one of the things I realized, right? Here's one of the things I I I realized. Uh. Supercent. Who's that? I don't know who Supercent is. Um. Yeah. I don't know who Supercent is. But if If there's a fit, we could definitely make it happen. But here's what I'm gonna say to you. Here's what I'm gonna say to you. Here's what I'm gonna say to you. Couple of things what I'm gonna say. If God has put a blessing on your life, which God has put a blessing on everybody's life, right? But the moment that you have realized that God has put a blessing on your life and that The when you realize that your blessing is bigger, you know what I'm saying? That your blessing is bigger than you. Then you're going to have to surround yourself with people that can help bring that that that gift and that blessing to as much people as possible. Because at the end of the day, you know, I I was I was tapped in this morning. Right? I was tapping this morning to my sis. It's A-Lo. Uh, make sure y'all, you know, I mean, she, she go live, you know what I'm saying, right before, before the show. And, you know, she said something very powerful this morning. She was like, yo, it ain't about you, right? It ain't, it ain't about you. And I, and honestly, like, I think, I think that that's the most selfish thing that we could do is make our life about us, right? And you might say, what, make your life about you is selfish? Like, right, that's the definition of selfish, right? Well, the truth of the matter is this. The truth of the matter is this, is that the, the moment that you get— you become selfless, right? The moment that you become selfless is the moment that you get everything. Um, when you focus on, uh, being selfish, you get— you get back, you know what I'm saying? You get back what you put out in the world, right? And the truth of the matter is that I don't know, right, unless you rich already, right? Unless you rich already and you don't— you don't need, you know what I mean, you already got all of the, um, you know, the assets that are, that are, that are giving you money and you don't need to interact with people. Um, unless that's you, then I ain't talking to you, right? If you got all these assets and the assets are what's giving you, uh, you know, a way to live, then I'm not talking to you. You could be as selfish, you, you don't have to worry about people. Right, people are not your issue. But if you are somebody who understands that in order to continue to get certain blessings in your life, you have to be into a space where you're giving, right, where you're being selfless. The moment when you are selfless— Thank you for the badge, love. The moment that you are selfless, that's when you get everything, right? Um, people, people come to, to the show, right? I, I can, I can say all these powerful names of people who are willing, who are so willing to come to the show, right? It's not because, like, like, I'm not famous, right? So You know what I mean? Like, like, we just, we just getting it from the mud, right? But at the end of the day, um, we are blessing people with the show, right? And so if, if, if I'm just— if, if the goal is blessing people, how cannot— how can I not get blessings? Because that's what I'm doing, right? I bless people, so I get blessed. If you bless nobody, then nobody blesses you. And so a lot of times, you know, we, we in a space, uh, you know, a lot of times we're in a space where we're not, um, you know, reciprocating, or we're not doing, um, or being, uh, a blessing. And because we're not being a blessing, we're not— oh, that's a bar! Because we're not being a blessing, then we're not seeing a blessing. That's a bar. That's a big bar. Hey yo, the reason— the reason why you're not seeing a blessing is because you're not being a blessing. You know what I'm saying? Um, the moment that you start to be a blessing, that's when you start seeing, right? Uh, because the truth of the matter is that, um, if you're angry, you'll see anger. If you are arrogant, then you'll see arrogance. If you are, uh, mean, petty, and spiteful, you're gonna see mean, petty, and spiteful. If you're a blessing, you'll see a blessing. If you're kind, you'll see kindness. If you are abundance, right, if you are abundance, then you will see abundance. Um, I really can't stress more, um, that anything that you want to see In life, just be. Just be, right? Anything you want to see in life, right? If you want to see something, right, instead of just— you could pray for it. You could pray for it. You could, um, you could pray for it. Um, you could Um, wish on a star for it. Uh, you could beg and plead for it. Um, but the truth of the matter is that if you want to see it, like if you really, really want to see it, you just gotta be it. That's it. You want people to look out for you, look out for other people. That's it. Hey yo, I'll be— I'm gonna be honest with you. I'll be honest with you. I rarely say no, you know what I'm saying? I rarely say no. Um, if I have the ability— like, I don't, I don't allow people to use me though, right? But if I, if I have an opportunity to help somebody, if they ask me, all they gotta do is ask. And if I have the opportunity to do it, I'm doing it, you know what I'm saying? And so the truth of the matter is that, uh, people rarely tell me no, you know what I'm saying? Like, if, if, if I ask Right? If I ask for something, um, I'll say like 99% of the time, to be honest with you, right? Like 99% of the time I'm getting a yes. And sometimes it's not a yes from the people that I've helped though too, you know what I'm saying? Like sometimes it's not even— it's not even a yes from like— I like— like I, I may not even have known the person, you know what I'm saying? Um, uh, you at Invest Fest today? Yeah, absolutely. Yo, and that's the thing is, look, hold on, let me say something real quick. You threw me off on that, but, but, but that, but, but that made me realize that I didn't finish my thought, uh, before as I was talking about the grind, right? Hey yo, I was, I was shooting Inside the Vault Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, right? Um, I still gotta do some last finishing touches on my book, so even after this I'm about to go lock in. Then Invest Fest starts tonight, right? And so tonight I'll be at Invest Fest, you know what I'm saying? Then Saturday, you know what I'm saying? Uh, I think I, I think I opened both days, you know what I'm saying? Like, I have panels both days. So, so I'm, so I'm in the morning on Saturday, I'm in the morning on Sunday. Um, but, and I'm gonna stick around, I'm saying, you know, shake hands, kiss babies, you know what I'm saying? Um, yeah, man, the grind is real and I love it though, you know what I'm saying? And then Monday, I think I won't get no rest till like Tuesday, to be honest with you, because I think Monday— oh damn, is that true? Wait, hold on, let me just make sure. Oh no, yeah, I'm good. I'm about to say, yeah, Monday I gotta shoot, and then Tuesday, but then I think I got someone. Yo, it's crazy, but it's a blessing though. It's a blessing. I'm not even complaining though, I promise you. I'm not, I'm not complaining, you know what I'm saying?
Uh, I'm not, I'm not complaining because sometimes you need to get knocked down before you can really figure out what your, what your fight is.
Because God got a plan. How you need to fight it.
Sometimes you need to feel the pain and sting of defeat to activate the real passion and purpose that God predestined inside of you.
God is predestined.
God says in Jeremiah, I know the plans I have for you.
I know the plans I have for you.
Plans to prosper you.
Yep.
And not to harm you.
Nah, not to harm you.
Plans to give you hope and a future.
Hope and a future.
Hear me well on this day. Yeah, this day when you have reached the hilltop and you are deciding on next jobs, next steps, careers, further education.
Amber, thank you for the best.
You would rather find purpose than a job.
Purpose than a job.
Occasionally purpose crosses disciplines. Purpose is an essential element of you. It is the reason you're on the planet at this particular At this particular time, your very existence is wrapped up in the things you are here to fulfill. Whatever you choose for a career path, remember the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose. When God has something for you, it doesn't matter who stands against it.
Doesn't matter who stands against it.
If it's meant for you, God will move someone that's holding you back away from a door.
Boss Man, what up?
And put someone there who will open it for you.
Yeah.
I don't know what your future is, but if you're willing to take the harder way, the more complicated one, the one with more failures at first than successes—
Yeah.
The one that has ultimately proven to have more meaning, more victory, more glory, then you will not regret it. Stay fly with pride and press on with purpose and appreciate what God has brought you through.
You are now listening to mindrightradio.com, the only place to get inspiration and motivation all day, every day. All day, every day.
Talk to God often, even if you're not perfect. Just talk to him every day. You don't have to be in the same faith I'm in, or you ain't got to call God the same thing I call.
But listen to me, you do have to call him though.
It's not gonna make your life easy. Faith don't make it easy. Faith makes it possible. All you want is the strength to get through your life, boss man, on the days That I feel like I'm not gonna make it, on the days that it feels like I can't endure anymore, I think back on my track record for surviving all my bad days. And so far, surviving all my bad days, my track record is 100%. It ain't about the money. I know a lot of very, very rich people.
Salute, Boss Man.
Appreciate you.
Not happy at all. I can bet you most of you are happier. than most of the people I know. And I know some very, very wealthy people. And money don't make you happy.
Salute, Lisa, looking forward to meeting you.
It helps you through a lot of situations. You know, the only thing about money— money takes all emergencies and turns them into mere inconveniences.
That's what money does.
Money gonna change your life a little bit, folks. All of you gonna get more, but you gotta ask for it. But if that's your desire to get more of it, you gotta ask God for it. If you want to be happy or successful, you got to ask God for it. Most people don't have the life of their dreams because you don't ask God for it. You have not because you ask not. If you up your ask, he will up his give.
Yeah.
If you change what you ask God for, he immediately changes what he gives to you. You don't need an education to be successful.
I know I flunked out of school.
What God has for you Quit tying it in education. People kill me. I know people got two degrees, finna go back to school, get another. If you got two of them that ain't working for you, why would you go get another one of them? I know people that's mastered and PhD'd up, ain't even working.
Thank you for the badge, love.
You don't need that.
Got to up your ass scale.
Your whole success is tied in your relationship to God. You can simplify this. By getting in touch with your creator. That's your key, man. Everything you're going through is preparing you for what you asked God for. You just gotta quit tripping while you in the process, because the process is necessary. You may not see it now, but when he gets you on the other side of it, you're gonna see exactly why it went that way.
That's right.
And you're gonna be okay with it.
Look forward to it.
But quit tripping during the process. Oh Lord, why me? You ain't the only one. You ain't the only one. Oh Lord, why I lose my job? You ain't the only one unemployed. Pull yourself together and quit tripping because you in the process. God is processing you. He ain't through with you. If he was through with you, you would not wake up in the morning. He gonna fix it. Everything is wrong. First of all, let me tell you this right here. Why are you tripping? Everything that's happening to you is God is processing. Every difficult moment you're having, he just processing. That's all he doing. Everything you going through is preparing you for what you ask God for. And if you need to be tough when you get to where you going, then he gonna toughen you. If you got to be more caring along the way, He gonna let you have some trials come your way that's gonna have to produce that in you. See, the route you on right now is the route you got to take, and it's very uniquely yours. This thing you going through, this just uniquely yours. You just gotta understand you ain't the only one. You ain't the only one going through it. Now, in the order that it's gonna happen, it's just yours. You have not because your ass not. It simply say you have not because you ask not, but you don't ask because you ain't got that together. When you ask God for something, quit tripping.
Quit tripping.
He got it from here. God can't give you what you want because you want to hold on to what you got. Oh, you all in the way now. You telling him how to bless you. You can't tell God how to bless you. It's a simple process. The only reason I'm telling you this 'Cause this is how I made it. I just do me. I'm just being me. I stay uniquely who I am. Because you are okay just the way you are. Because God made you uniquely who you are. He wanted you to be just like you are. See, God made us very different. This is a— this God we got, God is amazing. He created you so individual. Do you know that it's close to 8 billion people on Earth now? Do you know that it's almost 8 billion people on the earth? Do you know how many billions of people have died? Do you know that if you dig up all them people that have died and all the people that are presently here and every last one of them that he gonna make in the future, not one of you have the same fingerprint? Who do that? Who could possibly be so precise in his infinite wisdom that he created you so unique that ain't no 2 people got the same fingerprint? That's crazy. That's real crazy.
Sometimes you need to get knocked down before you can really figure out what your, what your fight is and how you need Sometimes you need to feel the pain and sting of defeat to activate the real passion and purpose that God predestined inside of you. God says in Jeremiah, I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Hear me well on this day, this day when you have reached the hilltop and you are deciding on, on next jobs, next steps, careers, further education. You would rather find purpose than a job or career. Purpose crosses disciplines. Purpose is an essential element of you. It is the reason you're on the planet at this particular time in history. Your very existence is wrapped up in the things you are here to fulfill. Whatever you choose for a career path, remember the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose. When God has something for you, it doesn't matter who stands against it. If it's meant for you, God will move someone that's holding you back away from a door and put someone there who will open it for you. I don't know what your future is, but if you are willing to take the harder way, the more complicated one, the one with more failures at first than successes, the one that has ultimately proven To have more meaning, more victory, more glory, then you will not regret it. Press on with pride and press on with purpose and appreciate what God has brought you through.
Mind right. Appreciate your number one source. What God has brought you through. But you know, but you know what, I think, I think that people are not able Here's here's the thing though. I think that people are not able to appreciate what God has has has put us through, um because we have these um attachments. You know what I'm saying? Um uh we have attachments. You know what I'm saying? Anybody want to re uh re listen to that? If you go to mindright radio dot com. Um, you can listen to the, uh, to it, to different tracks 24/7, or you can go to Mind Right Radio VIP if you want to download specific tracks, right? Um, but what happens is this, look, because a lot of us are not— we don't appreciate, um, you know, what God has put us through. The reason why a lot of us don't appreciate what God has put us through, um is because we're attached, right? We're attached to our story, uh, we're attached to the future, we attached to how we think it's supposed to be, uh, we're attached to, um, how, how we, we decided in our head is going to be, um, and, and, and if God, if God has— see, the thing is, is, is this what I believe in my heart, right? I believe that that God never says no, right? God either— God either says yes, God says not now, or God says I have something better, right? And so a lot of times we're not trusting the process, right? A lot of times we're not trusting the process. A lot of times we allow our ego to tell us like, yo, this is how it's supposed to be. I saw this vision. Right? This is the vision, and this is exactly how the vision is going to be. The truth of the matter is that God God is going to give you right. God is going to give you the vision. You got to trust the process. So sometimes when you see the vision, God is going to give it to you, but God is going to give it to you the best way God knows how to give it to you. So God is either going to say, "Oh, you you want this?" All right, yes, here you go. But I'm gonna put you through some things to get it. Or God is going to say, oh, you want this? All right, not now, right? I'm gonna give it to you, but you, you really not in energetic alignment with the thing. You really not in energetic alignment with this. Oh, you want a million dollars, but you don't think like a millionaire. And so if you— all right, so if you say, yo, I want to be a millionaire, and you say, God, you know, I want to be a millionaire, I desire millions of dollars, God is like, okay, I got you. But you know, you don't think like a millionaire right now, right? Because the— because becoming a millionaire is not money. So in your thought, in your thought process, you think— that's what I'm saying, right? You think that being a millionaire means you got a million dollars in your pocket, you got a million dollars in a bank account that you can log into your Chase app or your— or you can log into your app and look and be like, oh yeah, I got a million dollars. That's not— that's not being a millionaire. Right? A millionaire starts in the mindset, starts in how you how you move, it starts in who you be. And so God said, "I bet I got you." Oh, you want to be a millionaire? All right, cool. But you're not in energetic alignment with with with what it takes to be a millionaire. So I so I'm not saying no, right, child of God? I'm not saying no. I'm saying okay. Let me put you through some things to get you in energetic alignment with being a millionaire. And so you'll go through some things, you might lose some people, you might— there's some stuff that's gonna happen. But the thing is, you got to detach from everything though, right? What Steve just said, Steve said the reason why you can't get what you want is because you, you holding on to what you got. Right? You holding on to it. You holding on to it. You can't, you can't get the new shoes if you keep the old shoes on. So you got to detach.
First principle says, as Talopa put it, have a mind that is open to everything, open to everything, and attached to nothing. One of the central principles of my life is that no one knows enough to be a pessimist. About anything. And that each and every one of us, when we close our mind to what is possible for us or what is possible for humanity, closes off the genius that resides and lives in each and every one of us. But a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing is a mind that says, I'm never looking for anything to be offended by. And that whatever anybody else out there has to say, my response to that is, that's an interesting point of view. I've never considered that before. Things that Emerson said is in one of his very first essays, he says, the first thing we have to say respecting what are called new views here in New England, where we are right now, is that they are not new. But the very oldest of thoughts cast into the mold of these new times. Progress is impossible if you always do things the way you've always done things. But the other word in this, what Tilopa said, is be attached nowhere. Be attached nowhere. Attachment really means I am deluding myself into a belief that if I can't have, or if I can't do this or that thing, then somehow I'm going to become immobilized. So an open mind that is detached. In one of, uh, in my most recent book, A Spiritual Solution to Every Problem, I have a, um, an observation, and it's, uh, an observation from Anthony de Mello, a man I respect enormously.
Praise.
Who, um, in The Way to Love puts it this way. Here's a great test for your relationships, especially the relationships that you're in, uh, with those whom you love— not your children, but your spouses and your lovers and so on. Try this test on for size. One, I am not really attached to you at all. I am merely deluding myself into the belief that without you I will not be happy.
Ilya speaks.
And 2, and here's the toughest test for non-attachment: I leave you free to be yourself, to think your thoughts, indulge your tastes, follow your inclinations, behave in ways that you decide are to your liking. Most of us do in our relationships, and why they are not as successful as we would like them to be is that That we become attached and we tell ourselves that if this person behaves in a way that I find offensive, then I can't be happy. I make my happiness, my fulfillment dependent upon those people that I love being what I think that they should be. And detachment doesn't mean being a victim. It just simply means I know—
Uh, Wayne Dyer.
My life fulfilled and happy by having a mind that is open to everything and attached nowhere. The second principle is a very simple principle. It says you can't give away what you don't have. Now it sounds ridiculous, okay, but it's more than what meets the ear as you hear this. You can't give away what you don't have. People who are not good at giving away love can't give away love because they don't have it to give away. If I want to give you a dozen oranges, I can't give you those dozen oranges unless I go out and pick up 12 oranges someplace. Otherwise, all it is is just empty rhetoric. And the same thing is true of virtually everything in your life. You can't give away love for others if you don't have love in here to give away. If what you have in here is contempt, if what you have in here is anger, if what you have in here is fear, then these are the things you're going to be giving away in your life. There's a law, sort of a law in the universe, I call call it the law of attraction. And the law of attraction is one that works like this: you get back from the universe, from the world, what it is that you put out there in the world. And if you're putting out there into the world that I am not worthy of attracting something beautiful into my life, that the universe will respond back to you with exactly that message. The ocean of abundance Is there. And you can go to that ocean of abundance and you can take a Mack truck and you can fill it up 20 times a day and take it out of there. And guess what? It doesn't impact at all the ocean of abundance. It doesn't even go down a zillionth of an inch. It's unlimited. Or you can go to the same ocean of abundance with an eyedropper, and you can just take this much out once a month and say, that's all that seems to be available for me. And the interesting thing for me is that when people go to this ocean of abundance, this unlimited world— all that I have is thine, it says in the holy books. All that I have is thine. It's all there for you. But if you believe inside that it's limited, that you can only get so much, that other people are going to get it before you do, Then you'll find yourself creating that very same thing. And the even more interesting part about this you can't give away what you don't have principle is that if your message to the universe is gimme, gimme, gimme, which is a lot of people's message to the universe— I want this from you, I want that from you, please give me this, I have to have that— that's what their prayer is like, that's what their message is, you know. And they say, I want this from the universe, gimme, gimme, gimme. The universe's response back to that kind of a mentality is exactly the same. The universe will say right back to you over and over again, gimme, gimme, gimme. And you'll find yourself never ever arriving, but always being in a state of striving, always feeling as if you're being neglected, never feeling as if you have enough, always feeling as if you're being shortchanged because you're You're constantly under the pressure to give, to give back what the universe is demanding from you. And the interesting thing about all of this, the irony of this, is that if you shift that and you say to the universe, to the world, how may I serve?
How may I serve?
The universe's response back to you is, how may I serve you? How may I serve you? I shifted that energy off of what can I have into what can I give. It seemed to me that the universe responded back with the very same message: what can I give to you? And the most incredible and wonderful and beautiful abundance has flowed into my life in every way that I can possibly think of. You can't give away what you don't have. So take a look at an inventory of what you do have. How much do you love yourself? How much kindness do you have in you? How much peace do you have in you? How much joy do you have in you? And if you're able to give that away as many times as you can in a given day, watch and see how much more of that continues to show up and come back in your life. The 3rd principle is one of my very favorites. It's called There Are No Justified Resentments. What kind of, uh, anger comes directed towards you, no matter how much hate you may encounter showing up in your life, there are no justified resentments. Meaning that if you carry around resentment inside of you about anything or about anyone, and I'm talking about the I'm talking about the person that you lent money to and hasn't paid you back. I'm talking about the person in your life that you feel was abusive in your life.
Thanks.
I'm talking about the person who walked out on you and left you for somebody else. I'm talking about all of the things that you have justified in your heart and in your life that you have the right to be resentful about. And I'm suggesting to you that those resentments will always end up harming you. You— no one ever dies from a snakebite. A snakebite will never kill you. You cannot be unbitten. Once you're bitten, you're bitten. But it's the venom that continues to pour through your system after the bite that will end up destroying you. If you become steadfast in your abstentions of thoughts of harm directed towards others, all living creatures will cease to feel enmity in your presence.
