9.8.21 - The Ash Cash Show

In this episode of the Ash Cash Show, host Ash Exantus delivers a high‑energy, motivational broadcast that blends daily aspiration, personal anecdotes, and practical mindset coaching. He repeatedly urges listeners to "show up" every day, treat their innate talent as a gift entrusted to them, and avoid coveting that gift. Setbacks are framed as setups for a comeback, and failure is defined only as giving up. The show interweaves quotes from Ralph Marston, Norman Vincent Peale, and an unknown source, reinforcing the message that success is one more attempt away from failure. Listeners are challenged to adopt a "process‑over‑product" mentality, commit fully, and hold themselves accountable rather than blaming external factors. Ash emphasizes that true wealth is not money but personal value derived from fulfilling one’s purpose and serving others. He introduces the "empty‑the‑bucket" metaphor to illustrate personal standards of excellence, discusses the law of attraction, and repeatedly calls listeners to "run after their destiny" while rejecting complacency. The episode also includes live shout‑outs, promotional plugs for ashcashshow.com, ashcashtv.com, Mind Right Radio, and a discussion about optimal broadcast timing. Throughout, the tone is conversational, urgent, and passionately encouraging.

Keep showing up. We gonna. I'm just gonna jump into daily aspiration. My phone give me enough juice. But we gonna. We gonna do daily aspiration because I want y'all to keep showing up. I want y'all to keep showing up no matter what. You know what I'm saying? No matter what happens. No matter. You know what I mean? Like no no matter what. I really need y'all to keep showing up. Right? Every every blessing day, I want you to show up because you know I believe that you were given a gift. You know what I'm saying? You were given a gift. This gift was given to you, and and and you gotta think about it, right? The the gift the gift was given to you. Somebody trusted you with the gift. Um, and then now it's, you know, it's, it's imperative that, you know, the gift was given to you, uh, that you, that you don't— I mean, you, you don't, you don't covet the gift, right? You know, you don't covet the gift like it's yours. You don't, you don't hold on to it. Um, you give it, you give it, you give the gift, you give the gift away. And, and I think that's the part that a lot of us are missing. Um, I think some of it is just not understanding your assignment. You don't, you don't realize Um, what was trusted into you. So, um, all right, happy Wednesday, my stubborn and persistent. Welcome to the middle of a great week and the continuation of your glorious comeback. If I said this once, then I said this a thousand times, nothing can stop you but you. And if for some reason you don't believe this is true, then it's that very thought process which is at the root of your problem. Any setbacks that you've experienced or may be experiencing are simply a setup for your comeback. Come back stronger. Come back more resilient. Come back knowing that the only time you fail is when you give up. You can sit around and find excuses, or you can get up and make your dreams happen. You can die a coward, not ever attempting to live in bliss, or you can live out your every dream and aspiration. All of life is a choice. Only those who have chose to be the best, no matter what circumstances they're in, have chosen wisely. Come back from your setback. Your greatness awaits. I'll leave you a couple of quotes. First one's by Ralph Marston, and it says, failure is not the result of setbacks. Failure is the result of letting setbacks stop you. Um, next one was an unknown quote, and it says, success is just one more attempt away from failure. It would be a shame not to make that one more attempt. All right, last but not least, by Norman Vincent Peale, and it says, in every difficult situation is potential value. Believe this and begin looking into it. Um, man, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say this one more time though. I, I, I want y'all to— I want this, I want this to sit in your soul, right? Um, success is just one more attempt away from failure. It would be a shame not to make that one more attempt, yo. Um, I feel like, I feel like there are people out here right now. Somebody's listening to me right now, um, who, man, who, who, who has this dream, right? Who has this dream, um, who want— who wants to continue, uh, to pursue this dream, um, but they always, you know, they always in a situation, right? They're always in a situation where the dream, um, don't look like it's happening, right? So it looked like they keep failing, um, it looked like they keep failing, look like it keep failing. And for some reason, um, they kind of feel like, yo, you know what, this, this ain't it, you know what I'm saying? This ain't it. But what they not realizing is that every failure Right? That every failure, uh, is different, to be honest with you. You know what I'm saying? Um, every failure is different. Uh, there's never been a failure— um, you know, each time you fail, you learn something new. Um, and each time you fail, you actually not even feeling in, in the same way. You know what I'm saying? Like, you're not even feeling in the same way. Right? You feeling differently, you know what I'm saying? You feeling differently. Um, and you know, man, like, I, I can't, I can't stress to you enough, right? I can't stress to you enough, um, how imperative it is for you to keep going, how imperative it is for you to keep going, how imperative it is, uh, for you to um, you know, to not, um, you know, to not give up. Um, how imperative it is for you to stop, uh, generalizing, right? Generalizing your failure, right? Like, stop, stop looking at— stop adding your failures up and subscribing that as, as what that is to you. When at the end of the day, the fact that you kept going is progress. The fact that you still have an opportunity to keep going is progress. Uh, the fact that, you know, that this thing that you keep— you, you keep failing forward, but you still, you still at it. Like, that's— I mean, talk to anybody successful, that's actually success, you know what I'm saying? And so Perception is key, you know what I'm saying? Perception is key. Um, but you know what I'm saying? Like, you got to keep going. You got to keep going. You got to keep going, you know what I'm saying? Um, you got to keep going. Um, you are now tapped in and tuned in. You got to keep going because it's critical on another level. That's why you need to keep going. That's what they waiting on.
Critical, ain't no time left on the clock.
Yep.
When it's your time, give them something to watch.
Yo, it's your time.
Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
So here's what I'm trying to tell you. Here's what I'm trying to tell you. This is what I'm trying to tell you. I'm trying to tell you that, look, Critical, ain't no time left on the clock. When it's your time, give them something to watch. Have you ever thought that the only reason that that that you keep stumbling is because it's not your time yet? Right? Have you thought about that? Have you thought that God knows best and that God's timing is perfect? Um, and but but but but the the thing about it though is that you don't know when it's going to be your time. So, you just got to stay at it, you know what I'm saying? You just got to stay at it. You got to keep going, you got to keep pushing. But I promise you when it's your time, oh my God, you're going to be so— like, you're going to be so happy that you didn't give up. The people are going to be ready to receive you, you're not going to have to force nothing, everything will come to you easily. Like, I promise you all the work like— I believe it's like a bank account. Right? All the work that you put in is like a bank account. Um, if, if you walk into a bank right now, um, and all you kept doing was depositing money inside the bank account, depositing money inside the bank account, depositing money inside the bank account, uh, what happens is you'll always have money in the bank account, right? If you deposit and never withdraw, you deposit, deposit, deposit, you never withdraw. What a lot of us don't realize is none of the work you're doing is in vain. None of it. None of it. Everything that you're doing in pursuit of your dream, right? So you can't be pursuing fame. You can't be pursuing money. You can't be pursuing the things that are fleeting, right? Money and fame and notoriety, validation, all that is fleeting. But when you are in pursuit of that dream, when you're in that pursuit of, um, giving your gift, when you're in that pursuit of, um, you know, maximizing your full potential, when you're in that pursuit of being the best you that you could possibly be, nothing that you do is ever in vain. Nothing. Um, and everything that you do just becomes money in the bank. And so when it becomes your time, right, when it's time for you to cash out When it's time for you to collect, all that work you've been putting in is is gaining interest. God knows it's gaining interest, and as it's gaining interest, when when when when I know I'm a gift, but I didn't got the box.
Right?
Critical.
Ain't no time.
Give them something to watch. Why would I stop? I am unstoppable. I need y'all to say that. I need you to understand you are unstoppable. I don't— I dive in it. Hold up, hold up, hold up.
Never take life for granted because sometimes life doesn't send a warning shot. And if you're not who you're supposed to be, adversity is not gonna say, man, I'm gonna let you gather yourself and I'm gonna come back. Opposition is not gonna say, man, I'm gonna let you get yourself together and I'm gonna be back. Like, I didn't know my life was gonna change On September the 9th, I was playing football. I was doing the thing that I love. I was 8 games away from the NFL, projected top 30 draft pick. I went out and made a tackle and found myself in the emergency room that night fighting for my life. But my mother had nothing to worry about. They asked my mother, are you worried about your son? She said, I'm not worried about him at all because I know he's a survivor. What is that? And that leads me into why I keep this bucket with me. You know, a lot of people know I live by this thing called empty the bucket, right? And people like Empty the Bucket ain't got this cute slogan, Empty the Bucket, but they don't know the foundation of what it really is. They don't know the accountability behind it. They don't know the responsibility behind it. Every day at my house, I got 3 buckets. I got a bucket when I wake up and I look in my bedroom.
He's lying.
I got a bucket in my office. I got a bucket in my weight room at my house. And what that bucket stands for, for me, that bucket means I have to give everything I got to everything I'm involved in. And it has nothing to do with the product, but more about my personal standard of excellence never changes. And it doesn't depend on the circumstances, the challenges, the situation, and it never depends on a person. I have a personal standard of excellence for my life. I just believe I deserve to give my wife the best version of me. I just believe I deserve to give my kids the best version of me. I just believe the people that I'm of service to on this earth, I deserve to give them the best version of me. And so I take a personal level of pride in everything that I do because I almost lost my life behind the game of football, and God placed me on this path. And so now it's not even about me. Meaning, would you do what you do if the outcome wasn't attached to what you do?
4 AM.
That's why I don't even get caught up with people that do things for money. I'm not impressed with how much money you make. You know the true level of wealth? You know the true measure of wealth? Is if they took all your money, what would you be worth?
What would you be worth if they took all your money? Hold on. Yo, what would you be worth if they took all your money? What would you be worth if all of the things that— that's why I said like the stuff, fame, um, notoriety, money, all that is fleeting. If they took that away from you, what would you be worth, right? And so being able to, to accumulate money, uh, is great. I promise you it's great. I promise you, uh, it's one of the greatest feelings in the world. But but but it ain't the greatest feeling, right? The greatest feeling is having value because of who you are. You know what I'm saying? Like that's the that's the greatest feelings to have value because of who you are because you you have accepted your assignment and you are giving your gift to the world. That is the greatest feeling. You know what I'm saying? Um, I ain't gonna cut this off. I need y'all to get this. I need y'all to get this.
Just everybody that's chasing that green.
Why golden things for the best love they change life.
And they stripped you of it all, what would you still be worth? And if you don't have the things that the process creates, you won't keep it anyway. I wasn't quitting, I wasn't giving up, I wasn't stopping. That's not my pedigree, that's not who I am, and so I'm not even gonna entertain it. And I think the quicker you eliminate something, the quicker that you make up in your mind you're gonna get to the outcome. It's just like the Navy SEALs. It's just like the SEALs. That's why the SEALs are so bad. They make up in their mind before the mission that they're going to complete the mission. They make up in their mind before they set out on a mission, we are going to complete the mission. Meaning, if it does not kill me, if I get an arm injury along the way, a leg injury along the way, a feet injury along the way, if you do not kill me, you will not stop my drive. No petty adversity will not stop me. I have to complete every mission that I set out on. That's a good message. One of the greatest pieces of advice that my mother gave me was this, son, whenever you start, You make sure you finish. And the problem with the world today, people get involved with things, and if they don't like a certain person, if they don't like the process, if it's not what they thought it was, they quit.
Really great.
And what they don't understand about quitting, quitting becomes a habit that doesn't just affect you. Later on in life, when you get a wife and you get some kids or you get a family, it's gonna come back to haunt you, and it will one day affect them. That is why I tell you the process is more important than the product. It's not even about the outcome for me. It's about, can you take pride in what you do as an individual Every night when you look in the mirror knowing that you gave everything you had to it. And no money doesn't have to be attached to it. It's about learning to work from the inside out in life and not from the outside in. When you work from the inside out in life, you understand your why, you understand your how, and you understand your what. Life is going to see how bad you want what you say you want. And so if it's never a level of commitment to it— and what commitment is— commitment— people think commitment is just saying, yes, I'll do it because the environment is right. And it's cute. People get in certain environments, man, are you gonna do it? Do you feel like doing it? Do you think it's right? Yeah, man, let's do it. It's cool. Let's do it. Let's do it, man.
Mm-hmm.
But what commitment is, commitment is staying true to what you said you were going to do long after the mood that you have set it in has left. Meaning when you don't feel like getting up in the morning, you get your butt up in the morning. You do what you said you were gonna do anyway. Meaning when you don't feel like sacrificing, you get your butt up and you sacrifice anyway. Meaning when you don't feel like being dedicated to it, You stay your butt dedicated anyway because you understand what the process will go on to produce later on in your life. It's not about the outcome. Eliminate the outcome. And we have to get to the point where we're willing to impose our will on certain things. Impose your will on it.
Impose your will on it.
It's just as if you were facing an opponent. Impose your will on it. Life will give in to you if it's not— if it knows you're serious about whatever it is that you're trying to do. Life will give in to you. When I went back to school, I had to learn how to write all over again with my left hand. I've been right-hand dominant my whole life. You think the teacher came up to me and said, Ink, I know you got a paralyzed right arm and you're learning how to write again. We're gonna give you a little leverage. We're gonna let you take your time on these 30-page papers.
No.
Appreciate the mad love.
Inky, here's your 30-page paper. I need it by tomorrow. I had some great friends. I didn't have one friend I was about to knock out a 30-page paper for. I had to sit my butt in disability services and write that paper by myself. I had to learn how to tie my shoe all over again. I had to go up to people and say, man, can you help? My roommates, can you help bathe me, man? My life totally changed, and they gave me an opportunity to stop. And most people, when you give them—
Most people, when you give them an opportunity to stop, they're gonna take the opportunity.
Because they feel as if, man, why did this have to happen to me? I felt as if, why not me?
Why not me?
This is the perfect opportunity to use this to be a blessing to somebody else. And you know what? It's not even about me, to be truthful. It's not even about me now. It's about repaying the people that invested in me and saw something in me when I couldn't see it in myself. Now this is the perfect time to give them a return on their investment. That's why I went on to get my master's degree. At a certain point in life, it can't just be about you. When do we get to the point where we start honoring the sacrifices that others have made for us? When do we get to the point where we say, Mom, I really appreciate those sacrifices you made for me. So I'm not quitting as a result of it. I guarantee you I'm coming out of Michigan State with a degree. I guarantee it. And it doesn't matter the outcome. It doesn't matter what I go through. I guarantee you. I went to my mother and I told her, I will never embarrass you. I will never quit because you sat in the park with me when I was 7 years old. So it's not even about me having a paralyzed right arm. It's not even that deep. The reason I wake up and live my life the way that I do, because I understand somebody is looking at me for my passion. Somebody is looking at me for my zeal. Somebody is looking at me for my energy. Somebody is looking at me Me for my drive.
That's right. That's right.
every day to keep going, just like somebody is depending on each of you. It's not about you, man.
Styles fishing with Bass Pro.
Blessings don't come to you, blessings flow through you. And the moment that you understand that, you will realize your existence is not just about you. It's a lot of people that paved the way for you to be in the position that you're in. Honor that. Have a certain level of pride in what you do. Take pride in what you do. If your last name is on something, you should operate a certain way. You shouldn't just do it Just to do it. I don't understand how people do that. How can people get up and just go through the flow of life? How do people do that? Like, I can't do that. When I look at my son, I can't say, son, I just got up and I flowed through life today.
Yeah.
And he looked back at me like, Dad, you just— no, I can't do that. I can't tell my wife, baby, I just strolled through life today. When I look at my wife, I tell her, no matter what happens in our life, no matter what we go through, you gonna be straight. You gonna be straight. You gonna be straight. You'll never have to worry about a thing. My kids will never see the life that I saw when I was a kid. I'm promising that. They're not seeing it right now.
They will never see it.
I understand who I am and I know I'm a go-getter. When it boils down to it, I'm a go-getter and I'm a flat-out winner. And nothing will not stop me. A lot of people, they have to be chasing something or it has to be a reward attached to it, or they seek some type of validation, or they need some type of encouragement, a pat on the back. To say, man, you're doing a good job. When you tell me I'm doing a good job or not, I'm gonna give everything I got to everything I'm involved in because that's just the way I'm cut.
That's just the way I'm cut.
I'm gonna give everything I got to everything I got because that's the way I'm cut. You won't have to give me a reward for it. That's what I'm supposed to do. That's how I'm supposed to rock and that's how I'm supposed to live my life. I don't need no reward. I don't need no cookie like I'm checking in the afternoon and you giving me a cookie because I'm checking in. No, I'm gonna live my life a certain type of way because this is the Standard of excellence that I should possess. Standard of excellence in everything that I do.
Everything I do.
The outcome is not about the circumstance. It's not about the situation. It's not about people. It's about me taking pride in what I do and having a certain standard of excellence. I could have worked at McDonald's. I guarantee you I would have been the best worker at McDonald's there was.
Thank you for the badge love.
I could have washed cars. I guarantee you I would have been the best car washer there was. That has nothing to do with the outcome. That's just how I'm cut. I'm gonna go get it because I'm built for it. Yeah, I need a reward for what you do. Stop seeking validation.
Myrightradio.com.
You say you're gonna do something, do yourself a favor and don't lie to yourself. Don't lie to yourself because that is the worst thing that an individual can ever do.
Yep.
You think you lying to your peers, right? You think you lying to your mother. You think you lying to your teacher. You think you lying to your coach. At the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, you lying to you. You lying to you because that's your life.
Yeah.
In 10 years from now, nobody can do anything for you. That's gonna be the life that you created, not anybody else. The life that you created. You make your bed, you gotta lay in it. And the moment that we understand that, and every day we wake up, we understand that life is a blessing and life is a gift. And if you were to check out today, how would you want to be remembered? It's quicker than you think. We have to elevate to that point where we teach that. Expectation in everything that we do and understand that it's a lot bigger than us. Us doing everything that we do is a lot bigger than us, and we want to leave a legacy in everything that we do. People just want to be good. People just want to look cute doing things. I want to look cute. I don't care about being cool. Think I care about being cool? There's people dying out here.
People dying out here.
It's young black males getting their life taken. Yeah, it's people depending on us out here.
It's people depending on us out here.
I would rather somebody look at me and say, man, that cat came from the hood in Atlanta. His mother had him at 15. He came from a 2-bedroom home, 14 people. He slept on the floor with roaches and rats. He missed meals at night. His arm got paralyzed while he was in college chasing the dream. He was 8 games away from the NFL. He almost lost his life. He was back in class the next week. He went on to get his bachelor's degree. He went on to get his master's degree. That's cool. That's who I want to be like because he never gave up, and I don't plan on giving up anytime soon.
Yeah.
As a matter of fact, I'm on record right now on Take to tell you I'll never give up. Never give up, regardless of what may happen.
Yep.
Because I'm chasing something different, and it's not about the product; it's about the process.
It's about the process.
It ain't about the product, but the process. Things a certain type of way. What is gonna build and instill within me? That's gonna sustain me for the rest of my life.
For the rest of my life.
So why would I stop?
Yep. Yep.
I dived in it. Hold up.
Hold up, hold up. I'm alive, man. Why why would you stop? Yo, why would you stop when you notice people out here depending on you? Why would you stop when it when there's so many people that that that believe in you? Why would you stop? I didn't make no sense. Yo, why would you stop? Why would you stop when there's people out here depending on you? Why would you stop when there's people who actually believed in you? and who, who are rooting for you every day. Yo, you so selfish that you care about how you look to the people that don't even matter. What, what Dr. Seuss said, um, do what you do and feel and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind, right? So literally, you afraid to keep going because how failure looks to the other people who don't even have a vested interest in, in you succeeding. Everybody that has a vested interest in you succeeding don't even— they, they, they're, they're rooting for you. They're rooting for you. They're supporting you. They're praying for you. They're pushing you like that. They're waiting There's somebody waiting for you. So why would you stop? Why would you stop when you when when you have all of the forget about the haters, forget about the people who want to see you fail, forget about the people who are going to judge you because you failed. And it's not even failure because there's only failure when you give up, right? When you give up, when you when you when you fight, when you give up and you like yo I'm not doing this no more, that's that's when you become a certified failure. But if every time you got down, you got up. If every time you got down, you got up. Yo, what kind of demonstration even for your haters? Yo, yo, you know how much how how much you would bless your haters if every time they see you fall, they laugh and you get up. They laugh and you get up. They laugh and you get up. And then finally, right when you when when when you when you show and you reach that that destination. When you show them why you kept getting up, now, now they fans. Now they want to know how you did it. You know how much inspiration that is for them? Because the truth of the matter is that the hater ain't laughing at you, they laughing at themselves. They want you to fail because they don't believe in themselves. They don't believe in themselves, and they think that if, if you fail, that's, that's sort of like validation why they ain't doing ish. Because a, because a hater that's doing— a hater is only a hater because they ain't doing ish. Because if they was doing something, they wouldn't even have time to see what you're doing. And so you know how much inspiration you could be to not only the people who are counting on you, but the people who are counting you out? You have an assignment.
You have to—
you, you— why would you stop? Why would you stop? Why would you stop? Because the truth of the matter is that you owe you. You owe you. Exclusive. You owe yourself. You owe yourself what I don't want. You owe yourself.
You can't dangle something in front of my face that I don't want that. And many of you are taking anything because you don't know what you want. And so if I can do one thing for you when you leave this room, I don't want nothing from you but For you to leave this room and know what you want. What do you want in your marriage? What do you want with your son and your daughter? What do you want in your health? What do you want financially? Like, how much money do you want to make a year? What do you want to drive? How do you want to live? Stop just waking up like an accident. What do you want? And then once you find out what you want, spend the rest of your natural life waking up and going after it.
Wake up and go after it.
Why do you speak with so much passion? Why do you speak with so, so much authority? Because I'm talking about my life, not something that I read. I ate out of trash cans. I had no business eating out of trash cans. I lived in abandoned buildings. I had no business living in abandoned buildings. But E.T., your daddy wasn't in your life. Your mom was a teenage mother. You grew up— come on, look at your shirt. That's not an excuse. There is no excuse for not living up to your full potential. No excuse. I told you, I didn't get a new daddy. I didn't get a new mama. What changed? I changed, and I stopped being a victim. I stopped saying I've got to wait for good things to happen to me, and I said I'm gonna grind. I'm going to fight. I'm going to work. I'm going to press toward. I'm going to learn. I'm going to do everything in my power. Every single day. Thank you, Ash. I'm going to do everything in my power to become a victor and not a victim. Now let me say this before I move forward, and I can't explain it, but you better feel me. Winners win and losers lose. Can't explain it any better than that. I don't know how it happens, but winners win. And if you create a culture of losing, if you keep being a victim, if you keep letting losing happen, if you keep letting people do you and treat you any kind of way, it's gonna become a culture. I can't explain it to you. Yeah, it will. But you better stop making excuses and find a way to win. Because once you start winning, you go from $1,500 to $3,000 to $5,000 to $7,000. You remember, Steve? From $7,000 to $10,000, nothing changed. We still in the basement. We don't have a building. We still use the garage for all of our products. We don't have business cards. We don't have a 5-year plan. We don't have a 3-year plan. How do you do it then? You wake up and grind. Winners win. I focus on winning and I focus on structure. I focus on winning. And when you become a winner, they start seeing you with winners. You get from being a loser low self-esteem, doubt, and fear. You can find your way on this side. It's sweeter on this side.
You want—
you know what's so funny? We want people to make guarantees to us, but we're not willing to make guarantees to ourselves. I'm gonna say it again. Like, you— somebody gave you a guarantee, $30, 30-day guarantee. In 30 days, if you don't make what they told you it's gonna make in 30 days, you got an attitude, you want your money back. But you've never demanded your money back from yourself. You've never looked at yourself in the mirror and said You let you down. Until you get to that point, you let you down. You've never— you're not brave enough. You want to put it on somebody else. The reason why I'm not successful is because of my boss. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and said, I'm not getting up on time, I'm not going to work on time, I'm not putting in 120% when I'm at work, I let me down? And when you get to the point where you can say you let you down, I don't care. Listen to me, no disrespect, I don't care about Glenn. That's not why I do what I do. And I love Glenn. I don't come here and do what I do so Glenn can affirm me, so he can give me a pat on my back. I care more about me than I care about what Glenn thinks about me. I have standards. I have value. I don't care how much you pay me. If I speak at an elementary school for $300, I chose to do that for $300. If I chose to speak at a prison for free, I chose to do that. And I will not go in there and give no Prison is less than what somebody pays me $100,000. Why? Because I value myself enough to give 120% or don't do it.
That's the problem with some of you YouTube people.
You always want to blame other people. You always want to— you want to hold other people to the fire, but you're not holding yourself to the fire. You just said you're giving 50%. You owe you an explanation.
You owe you an explanation.
You need to look at yourself in the mirror and say, why are you only giving 50%? What's wrong with you? You need to put yourself on punishment. You need to tell you no more TV, no more snacks, no more desserts, no more— look, we working out now. Don't— no more alcohol, not right now.
Not—
no, I can't handle it right now. You need to tell you something. Stop going back to— you keep going to the mall with the receipt. This is what y'all said it was. Glenn, you didn't do what you said you was gonna do. Well, you didn't do what you were supposed to So how am I gonna do what I'm supposed to do for you? You walk out of this room, you owe yourself. I didn't get here making excuses. You can't make me want what I don't want.
Yo, so you owe you. Um, man, I think— and, and so, so, so it's really, really tough. First of all, let me get my— let me get Hey yo, shout out to everybody on the YouTube check-in. Uh, fast shout out to my guy James Coleman, uh, top of the top, my G. Brandon Lee's on the check-in, top of the top. Uh, Your Spoiledness, uh, top of the top, thank you for tapping in. My gosh, uh, Ill Flow on the Facebook check-in, top of the morning. Utopia something, uh, top of the morning on the Facebook check-in. Uh, JC, uh, top of the morning, YouTube check-in. Uh, Ken and Coltrane, thank you for tapping in. Top of the top. Peace, God. Uh, Kelvin Palmer, top of the top. Uh, salute, salute. Richard, uh, Haggins in the building. Salute, salute, salute. Um, so listen, this is what I need y'all to do though, right? I need, I need you to understand you owe you. Why would you stop? You owe you. But it's time to soldier up. There's somebody that needs you. Like, like, like, I, I don't know what, whatever way to say it.
You cannot be a believer until you see your old life, yep, and the misery thereof and want to change it.
Yo, change your old life, get rid of it.
Are you committed? Because without commitment, you got to be—
I want you to be committed. Nothing happens without commitment.
If you don't learn to give, yep, like he learned to get, yep.
Thank you for the badge, love. CJ, thank you for the badge love.
It will die.
Yep.
Reciprocity. What do you give?
What do you give?
For what you get.
Yep.
If you're not committed, you're not gonna make it. Even the ones with the personalities you don't like, you have to be committed.
Time to soldier up like never before. Hey yo, 115 days left.
Stop playing. Hey yo, stop playing. Why you playing with your gift?
It's time to make that commitment.
Yup, through the storm and the rain and the heartache and the pain and the disappointment You have to believe in the we and the us, and not the me and the you, or you're not gonna make it.
You're not gonna make it.
It's a feeling.
Yep.
Until you have had the taste of finishing, you will not respect yourself.
Yep.
Until you follow through.
Until you follow through.
Come hell or high water.
Mind Right Radio.
Tears and struggles and pain, and you go through it anyway, and you show up, and you continue to fight on no matter the circumstance. After a while, something begins to—
yep, yep, like never before.
Yep, yep, yep. Time to soldier up. Yep, I'm coming with a vengeance.
Anytime you need something that you can't give to yourself, you're at the mercy of somebody else. And when they don't come through, you got pain. And what you become is the consequences of what you didn't get. It's an urge.
Urge.
It's an urge, truth be told. Every champion has felt it. Every president has felt it. Every king has felt it.
Every lion has felt it.
Every winner has felt it. Every soldier has felt it. Every victorious person has felt it.
The urge Don't you give up.
I don't care if you don't have the money. I don't care if you have the money, the help, and you don't have the family for it, and you don't have the background for it.
Yep.
And you don't have the friends for it.
Yep.
Don't you give up.
Don't you do it.
Yeah. Don't you do it. Don't you do it. It may take you twice as long. You may have to take courses and classes.
Don't you do it.
There's somebody waiting for you. Don't you do it.
I— don't you do it. Yeah.
I'm coming with a—
don't you quit. You do make a difference.
You make a difference.
You do make it.
You do make a difference.
You do make a difference. As weak as you are, as tired as you are, as many mistakes as you made, you do make a difference. There is something they would lose if you were not there. There was something that they would miss if you were not there. You do make a difference. I don't care if you don't have the money, you don't have the help, and you don't have the family for it, and you don't have the background for it, and you don't have any friends for it.
Don't you give up on your dream. Don't you do it.
Don't you do it.
Don't you quit. You do make a difference. You do make a difference. You do make a difference. As weak as you are, as tired as you are, as many mistakes as you make, you do make a difference. There is something they would lose if you were not there. There was something that they would miss if you were not there. You do make a difference.
You're now listening to Mind Right Radio.
You do make a difference.
And once you make that difference, once you never give up, guess what happens?
You go to that other side. The other side of bliss.
Oh, you're now listening to my—
go to the other side, and the other side is bliss. The other side is greatness on display. The other side is your purpose. You gotta make it to the other side. Life, life is so much better when you live out your purpose.
Live in peace. Live in peace.
Make it to the other side, ho.
Yup, yup.
There are too many people out here chasing a bag. Too many people chasing a bag. When you chase the bag, the bag's gonna run from you. What you need to do is chase people. Chase the people. Your purpose.
Who are you?
Who are you?
What skills do you have? Yep.
If you can solve that problem, the more people you solve that problem for, the more money you want.
Yep.
You know, Jim Rohn says, you know, you know, work for the job that you want, not the one that you have. So for me, uh, it was always, always, always, always thinking a step ahead, right? And so, and even as an entrepreneur though, I think, I think what, what people, what people are always in the space of, um, I'm only going to Do what I'm being paid for. I say in everything you do, even as an entrepreneur, you should overdeliver always, right? Because what happens is when I was overdelivering, I was doing noble for you. When I was customer service, I was overdelivering. I was a personal bank.
I was overdelivering.
I was acting like I was the manager, right?
Yeah.
What happens is now, hey yo, I'm 25% Nigerian, so salute. Salute to Nigeria in the building. Hey yo, do y'all DNA test. Like, I'm not waiting until I'm— I have multi-millions in my account to be a multi-millionaire.
I'm a multi-millionaire right now. I move and walk and talk like a multi-millionaire. You gotta be it first, because once you be it—
Oh, 30%, my fault. 30% Nigerian.
You know what I'm saying? Like, so you gotta confuse the universe. Universe is like, yo, this dude is a teller and he's moving like a— no, no, no, let's get— let's move some things around and get him this position.
Let's get—
salute.
Yo, he's a personal banker and he's moving around like he run the bank. No, no, no, no, no, we need to open up some spots to get— to give him what he rightly would deserve because that's how he's moving.
You know what I'm saying?
And so that's how I got promoted.
Podcast just started, calm down.
Save something for the end. Save something for the end.
It's getting too crazy. There are too many people out here chasing a bag, and when you chase a bag, the bag's gonna run from you. Hey yo, so I did my— so, so I was just dropped off in Haiti. My family was dropped off in Haiti, but 30% Nigerian, 29% Benin and Togo, 25% Cameroon, Congo, and Western Bantu, 9% Mali.
Yeah, I'm telling you, like, I promise you.
So it's so funny, uh, because the other day I was reading— so my first book came out in 2009, right? It's called Mind Right, Money Right: 10 Laws of Financial Freedom. You know, the other day on page 48, so y'all can see I'm not Masperino, what up? I was a banker when I wrote that book, and in page 48— I was a banker when I wrote that book— page 48, I had my definite chief aim, right? What I was going to accomplish.
Yo, I read that the other day. I'm at 80%. I'm at 80%.
And so, and so, yo, write it and make it plain. Write it and make it plain. So I'm saying to say that yeah, you can move timid, but the reason why you you moving timid because you don't understand who you are. If you knew who you are, if you understood your power, right? And not to get you know all godly and spiritual, but I but I believe I'm God. I believe I'm God.
Lil G. Greatness on display. Greatness on display.
Image and likeness of God. Yep.
And so if God if God can have everything, why can't why can't have everything? If I made in the image and likeness of the Most High, and so what's happening is that entrepreneurs, non-fathers, people who are not living their best life, they're not asking. They asking timid.
Why you classic?
So universe said, okay, your wish is my command. So I'm gonna show you why you're not sure. So I'm not gonna give you nothing to make you sure.
Your wish is my command.
But for the people who walk walk that walk like yo, I'm yo. This is me. I got this. Universe says, okay, which is my command. You do got this, you know what I'm saying?
And so I feel like, you know, you know, it's, it's a, it's something that people need to understand. You got to know who you are, you know what I'm saying?
Whether you believe in God, Allah, Buddha, whatever it is, whatever you believe in, you have to understand that you were made in the image and likeness of God, and your job on this earth is to display God. Is to demonstrate God greatness on display. G-O-D, G-O-D. That's what you're supposed to be doing.
Y'all look at these mics just floating because them joints would drop.
You know what I'm saying?
So, so how do we develop that? Okay, because it's, it's easy to say it.
Yeah. It'll be better than.
Um, depression happens because you keep looking back.
Keep looking back. Anxiety happens because you're looking too far forward. Too far forward.
Be here now.
All I'm telling you is to. Stay right, right here in the now. Give you this analogy that I love all the time, right? So I don't, I don't drive without Waze. So Waze is a, is a navigation app, right? I don't drive without Waze because Waze, you put your address in where you want to go, and Waze already knows what's happening in the traffic sphere. And so if it's telling me to take I-20 and I know normally I would take I-285, there's a reason why Waze is telling me to take I-20 because it might be packed on I-285, and so I'm gonna listen to Waze, right? But let's say I don't listen to Waze. Let's say I go however way I want to go. I go to I-285 and I get stuck, right? Waze is not gonna take me back where I started and tell me how to get to where I'm going. It's going to recalculate it from where— from where I am currently, right? And so I think what people do is— the people who had the bad relationships, the people who had all these bad experiences, they keep replaying this negative thing in their head. They keep trying to start over.
They keep trying to backtrack and figure out where did I go wrong?
Where did I do this left turn? Why would I do this this way? And then, and then they try to reroute themselves from the past when that don't even exist no more. I don't care how much money you have.
I don't care where you from.
I don't care who you know, right? There's nothing you can do to bring back the past, right?
And even if you Do everything that you think you're supposed to be doing, there's nothing you can do to control the future.
And so I just live in day-type compartments. I'm telling every single person that, that hears the sound of my voice, I need you to live in day-type compartments.
What does that mean?
That means where do you want to go? Don't tell me about what happened in the past. Don't tell me about what mistakes you—
I don't care about none of that.
Right now, today, where do you want to go? Put in that destination and just move in day-type compartments. Why is that, right?
Because at the end of the day, even when tomorrow comes, it's still today. And so if all you do is the best that you could do today, everything else is gonna work out.
Everything else is gonna work out. Also believe— again, I said I'm a big believer in the law of attraction. It's about awareness, right?
You get what you are aware of, right?
There are people right now as we speak who are aware of how many Jobs have been lost. They're aware about how many, uh— All right, I got 5 more minutes though.
5 more minutes. Hold on, hold on.
5 more minutes. 5 more minutes. And there's only one way to— there's only one way to end this show. There's only one way to end this show. There's only one way to end this show. Only one way. You and I doing it to Mind Right Radio. Elevate your mind, you elevate your life.
See, all of us are survivors, but we wouldn't be— we all survived something or we wouldn't be here. But some of us—
Slim God, peace and blessings.
It means that when you wait, you sit down like you're sitting at the bus It means that while you're waiting, you ought to be doing push-ups and jumping jacks and lifting up barbells because you're renewing your strength. What are you renewing your strength for? Because you need to be strong enough to bear the weight of the favor that God's going to release on your life. It's amazing how you can be sustained by a thing you can't even describe. You You can't even tell people what it's like, but you just know that something is about to happen.
Something's about to happen.
Who knows what I'm talking about?
You, you, you just knew something's about to happen. It's your season.
Yep, yep.
Never too late. Never too late.
And I'm telling you today that it is dangerous It's dangerous.
It's dangerous to give up too soon.
There are some other folk in this room who survived, didn't have this, didn't have that, didn't have the other, didn't have help, didn't have a husband, sometimes didn't have a job, sometimes didn't have a friend. Sometimes you have to push yourself, sometimes you have to encourage yourself. You never had everything working at one time. But you were moving. You were in the dark, but you were still fighting in the dark, working in the dark, bought your house in the dark, raised your kids in the dark. You know God was on your side. You didn't have what they had, but you made it anyway. But whoever you are, I want you to understand this is the time. This is the moment you've been waiting on. You've been waiting all of your life to get to the point that you are right now. You're in the right place at the right time.
Right place at the right time.
If it happened ten years ago, you couldn't handle it. Yeah. If it happened three years ago, you wouldn't have been mature enough to handle it.
Yeah.
You had to go through everything you went through in the dark to get you tough enough.
Yeah.
Strong enough and courageous enough.
Yeah.
Determination enough. And now you're ready. Slap somebody.
Say I'm ready. I'm ready.
Everybody gotta pick up the pace.
That's why I can't deal with people who cannot pick up the pace. Don't be strolling when I got a 911 on you.
Yeah, I need people who can pick up the pace.
Do not allow the cares of this world to destroy your passion for living. You have to run after it.
Success is always Success is always intentional.
Stars and not hit them. This is not aim at all. I would rather go after it and not get it than not go after it at all. I'd rather try and fail than not try at all. I don't want to live with the idea, wonder what would have happened had I done more with my life. I'm gonna go for it and come to I'm going after my destiny. You gotta run after your destiny. You can't stroll after your destiny. You can't walk after your destiny. You gotta run.
Somebody holler, run!
Run after your destiny. Do not stroll.
Do not walk.
Do not meander. Do not wander, but run. Go after your destiny. You gotta run, you gotta run, you gotta run. You can't just wake up in the morning, let me see what's gonna happen today. I don't know what I'm gonna do, I don't know what I'm gonna wear, I don't know what I'm gonna cook, I don't know where I'm gonna go, I just woke up. Oh, you should stay in the bed.
Give this day to somebody who's gonna run to their destiny.
Yeah, give the day to somebody who has a plan, who has a strategy, because success is never an accident. And if you don't want it, get out of my way, because there are some people who want to do something with their life who will run. You gotta run after your destiny. You gotta run after it. You gotta run.
Running time.
It's running time. It's not strolling time.
It's not walking time. It's not sightseeing time.
It's running time. Get ready to run. Give me some space because I'm getting ready to run. Get up out of my face because I'm getting ready to run. Don't have time for what you're talking about. I'm gonna go for it, come hell or high water. I'm going after my destiny. You gotta run after your destiny. Yeah, you can't stroll after your destiny. You can't walk after your destiny. You gotta run. Somebody run after your destiny. Run after your destiny. Do not stroll.
Do not walk. Do not meander.
Do not wander, but roll after your destiny. You gotta run.
You gotta run, y'all.
You gotta run. You can't just wake up in the morning. Let me see what's gonna happen today. Ah, I don't know what I'm gonna do. I don't know what I'm gonna wear. Don't know what I'm gonna cook. I don't know where I'm gonna go. I just woke up. Oh, you should stay in the bed.
Give the day to somebody else who's gonna run after their destiny.
Give the day to somebody who has a plan, who has a strategy, because success is never an accident. And if you don't want it, never ask my way, because there are some people who want to do something with their life who will run.
