Almost Doesn't Count - The Ash Cash Show 9.26.22

Ash Cash pushes past the "almost" mindset, arguing that complacency kills dreams. He invested $2 million in education and mastermind groups, and now runs a $297 five-day challenge with Grant Cardone and Magic Johnson that he values at $750,000.

Um, you know, uh, I'm back in the building. See, uh, last week We was at the space where— oh, so last week I was in Orlando, um, and so I couldn't, uh, log on, um, daily, uh, just because of the schedule. Um, you know, fast shout out to, uh, ClickFunnels. Um, you know, we, we, we were, we were down at, uh, in Orlando. Um, for those who don't know— um, Jazz, what up, Jazz? Uh, for those who don't know, so ClickFunnels Um, is a, is a, you know, it's a marketing company, uh, but a lot of top entrepreneurs— I'm talking about everybody from Tony Robbins down to, you know, somebody who's just starting out, right? People who make $100 million and people make a dollar, right? Everybody uses— majority of—
a lot—
I'm gonna say majority, I don't know how many, but like a lot of entrepreneurs use ClickFunnels. Um, and what ClickFunnels does, it just, uh, allows you to um, you know, create, you know, you know, dope, um, pages and, uh, dope, um, you know, you know, uh, um, you know, dope pages and dope landing pages, and it lets you market your product and service. Um, and so they, they also have, uh, you know, awards, you know what I'm saying? So they have awards. Um, they have the awards where, uh, if you've made a million dollars or more in your business Um, you know, they, they have, they have the, the award, uh, for you. Uh, if you've made $10 million or more in your business, you have an award. Uh, if you made $25 million or more, you have an award. Um, and then if you're like an affiliate partner, they have an award. Um, and so, you know, it was the, the first time, um, you know, generating, uh, over, uh, 7 figures, uh, in, in business, uh, as an entrepreneur using ClickFunnels, uh, myself, uh, my brother Marvin Mitchell, my brother Storm Leroy, uh, we came together, we started a business, um, the businesses made a lot of money, um, and, you know, we were, we were awarded for it, um, and so, and so that's, so that's why I didn't do the show, uh, all last week, uh, was because we were in Orlando, um, you know, and it wasn't really just about the award because truth be told Um, I was scheduled to go to the event, uh, prior to even knowing that we were gonna, you know, we were gonna, um, uh, win the award, right? Um, and so, uh, you know, I was already planning to go, you know, go to the event. My guy Marv in the building. Um, we were planning to, to, you know, go to the event anyway, uh, because you learn a lot. Um, you know, a lot, a lot is, is learned. It's a, it's a great marketing um, convention. You connect with a lot of people, um, and so, you know, it was, it was a great thing not only, uh, being able to, you know, to win a Two Comma Club Award, uh, but also, uh, to, to be able to, you know, connect with other, you know, other amazing people, hear amazing speeches. Uh, in fact, um, you know, you know, there's a lot of things that I'm gonna implement, new things that I learned that I'm going to implement, you know, during this time as well, right? You know, now that I've been to the conference. And then the second piece of that, even as we were there, you know, we've, you know, collectively have invested a lot of money. You know, I think between Storm, Marvin, and myself, I want to say we're probably at about $2 million that we've invested in education. Um, and why, and why do I, why do, why do I stress this, right? Because, um, you know, a lot of people want to be successful and want to have a level of success, uh, but they want it to come free, right? Like, they'll, they'll pay, uh, and I'm not talking to anybody in particular, but people will pay $100,000 um, for a degree that they know doesn't work, right? Meaning that, um, you know it doesn't work because even before you took the degree, you spoke to somebody who had the degree who's struggling, right? You spoke to somebody who had a degree and they struggling, but you decided to get the degree anyway. And no disrespect to degrees because I have a degree, right? So I'm not, I'm not, you know, saying don't go to school. I'm not for, against, or whatever. But I'm saying that, you know, people will, will, will pay for education that, um, that they're not sure— let me not say they know it doesn't work, they're not sure if it works, um, but, but are hesitant on education that, um, they're sure works because they, they're watching somebody else do it. Uh, and so, um, you know, you know, you know, earlier this year, let's say for myself personally, Um, I got into a mastermind, um, and then was able to 10x my money from that. And why? Because number one, the mastermind, um, not only allowed me to learn from the person who's teaching at the mastermind, uh, the mastermind also, um, put me around other people that I could learn from, my peers I could learn from, uh, we could share knowledge, and then in, in many cases we've partnered. Um, and so, you know, uh, you know, at this stage, at this stage of my life, at this stage of my career, um, my focus is on maxing, maxing out my full potential. I want to max out who God put me here to be, right? Um, I'mma give y'all a secret. Um, you don't need millions of dollars to live your best life. I'mma just give you that secret. So if you're, um, burning yourself out for millions of dollars just so you can live your best life, Um, I need you to know that's not really, um, that's not really the case. Um, my ideal lifestyle only costs about a quarter million dollars, right? And so about a quarter million dollars, that's it. Um, you know, you know, live, live in a big, big house, drive whatever car, you know, whatever cars I want, vacation as many times I want, all on, on about, on about quarter million a year, right? And that includes the family and everybody. And so at this stage of my life, uh, maxing out who God has put me on earth to be is for 2 reasons. And 2 reasons are— matter of fact, you see, you see, you see my shirt, right? My shirt says, I am greatness on display. And what that means to me is if God has made me— if I'm made in the image and likeness of God and God has made me great, Then why would I stop at good, right? Why would I stop at good? Like if somebody say, yo, Ash, yo, how's life treating you? Yo, yo, life is good, right? Like, oh, it's good, right? But if life is good and God is great, then why would I stop at— why would I stop at good? Why would I— why would I stop at just being good, right? Um, I want— I want, you know, if God is the greatest, I want to be the greatest. That of me though, right? Like I'm not being a great I want to be the greatest God because there's only one God, right? There's only one God. So I can't— I'm not equal to God, right? Because I'm, you know, because I'm not God, right? I'm made in the image and likeness of God, so I'm not equal to God, but I'm made in the image of God, right? And so if God is the greatest, then God is the greatest God. I want to be the greatest Ash Cash, you know what I'm saying? I want to be the greatest me. And so when I, when I, when I have these, these goals to reach The goal for me is to reach them so that I can show greatness. Like, I just posted this clip on my Instagram, check it out, share it. This clip needs to be shared with everybody, right. I was on The Breakfast Club with my brothers and, you know, I was talking to Charlamagne about the reason why we need to change our relationship with money. Instead of working hard for money, money needs to work hard for us. And in that, right, in what I said, I said, yo, I came from nothing. Right? I came from nothing. I'm from Harlem. I'm from the St. Nicholas projects. So I had to work hard for money. But once I had— once I gained money, I didn't use money to buy things. I used money to buy income-producing assets. And those income-producing assets are why I have a level of financial freedom. I could pick up and go whenever I want. My family as well. Like, most trips that we take, we go— I go with the family. Like, you know what I'm saying? And so Um, and, and we sit first class. And I'm not, I'm not saying this to stunt on it, but think about like, this is the— this is our lifestyle, right? And the reason why it's our lifestyle, because of that, right? So everybody needs to share that clip, um, you know what I'm saying? Because, um, I, you know, it's not about me at this, at this day, at this stage of my life. And I'm just— I'm saying this to say, at this stage of my life, it's not about me, right? At this stage of my life, it's being the best that I could be So I could display and show people, you know, you know that what is your excuse, right? What is your excuse at this stage of the game? What is your excuse? A lot of people have seen my journey. A lot of people who may not know my journey. What is your excuse? Like I'm not, you know, you know, I'm no different than anybody who's watching this. I'm no different whoever anybody who came across me. The only difference was that I was willing to, um, invest in myself. In fact, uh, you know, again, you know, while we were at— while we were in Orlando, Storm, myself, and Marvin, um, decided that we, we would invest $150,000, right? We decided, uh, that we would invest $150,000 into a mastermind. So Russell Brunson Um, has— Russell Brunson is the guy who started ClickFunnels. He has an inner circle as well. And, um, you know, there's, there's different levels, right? There's different levels of, of the mastermind, right? So you got the mastermind for anybody who's made a million dollars in business. You have the mastermind, um, who's anybody who's made between $10 million to $25 million. And then you have the mastermind of anybody who's made the $25 million or above. Um, you know, collectively, uh, we decided to do, um, the mastermind, uh, called Category Kings. Um, and the qualifier for it, you have to have at least $10 to $25 million in revenue. Um, and so we joined it. We joined that, um, just to, just to learn more, to get better. And why am I telling you this? Because Um, if your mentor doesn't have a mentor, then they don't deserve to be your mentor. If your coach doesn't have a coach, then they don't deserve to be your coach. That's just how I feel, right? Because, uh, I rather— and this is just me, no disrespect to nobody— but I rather, right, I rather, uh, learn from somebody, an entrepreneur, um, who is currently entrepreneuring Right? I rather, I rather learn from an entrepreneur that's currently entrepreneuring instead of learning from a person who learned entrepreneurship and they're trying to teach it to you, right? And, and, and why do I say that? Because at the end of the day, um, anybody knows the entrepreneurship the entrepreneurship game changes so much. So I've been an entrepreneur for over a decade, right? I've been, I've been an entrepreneur for over a decade. And in being an entrepreneur for over a decade, um, I could tell you that, that, that the, the things that worked 10 years ago don't necessarily work today, right? In fact, I believe it's easier now to make a whole lot of money in a short amount of period of time than it's ever— that— than it's ever been done, ever, right? It's, it's easier to make a lot of money in a shorter period of time than ever before, right? Ever, right? 10 years ago, there were gatekeepers. 10 years ago, you needed the, the, the magazines. You You needed the radio, you needed the blog sites. Like, you had to be nice to people, right? You had to be nice to people. You had to, you know, you know, I mean, and it was— and when I say nice to people, I'm talking about like, like, even if you were nice, there were a lot of a-holes, you know, respectfully, that held these positions. Um, and, and, and, and some of them would require you to try to compromise yourself to even get on, you know what I'm saying? And I, man, I know, I know people who have, you know what I'm saying? Thank God, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, you know, I stand on my 10 toes, um, and so I, I, you know, I, I said, man, you know, I'm, I'mma grind this out, you know. And so I say that to say that the best way right now is to find somebody who has the, uh, success and the, you know, the success that you want Right? Find the people who have the success that you want, pay them whatever they're charging, and do whatever they say. Period. Right? And so, at the end of the day, regardless of you know, you know, you know, obviously I have a mentorship program with my brothers, the Path of Prosperity. We're doing a challenge this this week. You know, we we did we did our VIP last night was crazy, was crazy. Right? We had about, about over 400 people, um, who showed up, who were excited, who were ready to learn, you know what I'm saying? And, you know, obviously, you know, you know, our, our mentorship program, uh, is a premium program, so it's premium prices, but we're, but we're, we're getting premium results. But if, if, if you, if you just want to test it out Right? If you imagine, imagine going to buy a, to buy a 6-figure car, you're going to buy a Rolls-Royce, and they tell you buy the Rolls-Royce, buy the Rolls-Royce, and then you stuck with it. Is that a good deal, right? You probably know the value of the Rolls-Royce, but if you bought a Rolls-Royce, yo, you stuck with it, right? But what, but what if, what if, what if, what if, uh, what if Rolls-Royce told you Yo, give it— give us, give us a little bit of money.
Give us—
not even give us a— give us $300. Give us $1,000, right? What if Rolls-Royce said, give us $1,000, right? And we will, we will let you keep this Rolls-Royce for 5 days. If you like the— if you like the Rolls-Royce after 5 days, then, then you pay, you know, what it costs. to keep the Rolls-Royce, but, but you don't even have to buy it right now. Just give us $1,000 for 5, and you could drive it for 5 days, right? Uh, that's what this challenge is, right? That's what this challenge is. Uh, you could spend 5— you could spend 5 days with 3 multi-millionaires and special guests, right? You could spend, you know, 5 days with 3 multi-millionaires and Uh, we announced Grant Cardone, billionaire, right? And I don't know if y'all— oh, I don't think I posted it yesterday. Y'all might not know. Y'all might not know. Get, get— drop, drop, drop a fireball in the, in, in the chat if you know who the second special guest is. So we got, we got the trifecta: myself, Storm Leroy, Marvin Mitchell, right? We got Grant Cardone And we just announced today, this morning, we just announced a special guest. Drop a fireball in the chat if you know who the special guest is. Let's see, let's see. All right, let's see. We got Official, uh, Rel Hughes knows. Miranda knows. Uh, Yolanda Renee says she's on game. J Moneybags is on game. Mommy Love Hey, come on! Hey, hey, come on! Born Savage, you doing too much. I just said, I just said drop a fireball. See, a lot of y'all not listening. I said drop a fireball. I didn't say say who it is. You know, so I said drop a fireball. But it's all good, right? And so we just, we just announced we have Magic Johnson joining us, right? We have Magic Johnson joining us. Ramiah, appreciate the bazza. We have Magic Johnson joining us. And so, and so if you're able, right, if you're able to get in the room with multi-millionaires, billionaires, and be able to talk to them, be able to ask them questions, is that, is that worth $1,000? Forget, forget what the, what the price is. Is that worth $1,000? Is it worth $10,000? Right. Is it worth $20,000? I, I've— I, I know people who have paid $200,000 to spend a day with someone, right? I've been paid $25,000 for an hour of my time, right? I've been paid $25,000 for an hour of my time. So why am I saying that? I'm saying that if, if I've been paid $25,000 for an hour of my time, let's just assume, right, uh, let's just assume that, you know, me, Storm, and Marvin cost the same for an hour of our time. So let's say that's $75,000, right, for an hour of our time, and we're giving you Not only just five hours, if you if you if you're VIP, we're giving you ten hours. So I'm not I'm not a mathematician. I'm not a mathematician, right? I'm not a mathematician. But if I do the math, that feel to me that feel like seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars worth of game. If if like if if I if I'm at if I'm math if my math is mathing. Right, if my math is mathing, right, if my math is mathing, that's $750,000 worth of game in 10 hours that you could get. And we're only, right, we're only allowing you to get in for $297. For $297, right? And so I need y'all, whoever, if, if, if, if, if, if what I'm saying makes sense, right? And here's the thing, here's the thing I want to say, here's the thing I want to say, is that a lot of us, I don't know what you waiting for, right? I don't know what you waiting for because at the end of the day, um, at the end of the day, um, there's a lot of people that could claim whatever they could claim. Right? People claiming that they, you know, like, like, like anybody could buy, like, could buy a car. You don't, you don't have to be making a lot of money to buy a car. Like, you could make, you know, if you make $100,000, you could probably afford— I mean, probably really can't afford it, but, you know, a car lot will let you, let you out with a luxury car. So you could, you could, you could be out here fronting with a luxury car, right? You could, you could, you could be out here fronting with a luxury car And be acting like you, you've, you, you know, you lit and you've done, you know, you've made stuff happen. But the stuff that we're doing is, is verifiable, right? Meaning that, um, if we didn't invest our money into certain masterminds, you wouldn't, you wouldn't be able to see us in these masterminds, right? If, if, if we didn't generate the income Right, that we said that we we we generated. We wouldn't be walking. You can't pay for that, right? You can't pay for that. We wouldn't be walking across the stage receiving an award for that, right? Um, and so I so I would say, yo, just come just test drive it, right? Test drive the Rolls Royce. And and see and see what the Rolls Royce would do. Go to wealthdomination.com. Tap in, right? Wealthdomination.com. Tap in. Spend five days with us and and get to that next level. Which which which you know which just kind of you know takes me to my to to my my message for today. My message for today is just like almost doesn't count. Right? Almost doesn't count. Um, you can't, you can't almost your way to success, right? You can't look at your success and say, I'm almost there, and then you relax, right? Um, you know, you can't, you can't, you can't, you cannot almost your way to success. You, you, you have to, right? You have to Without a doubt, run towards your destiny.
You have to.
You have to. You you you have to. You have to have a sense of urgency, right? I want you to have a sense of urgency as it relates to your goals, right? You have to have a sense of urgency as it relates to your goals. Um, you know, I'll, I'll, I'll give you a— I'll give you an example, um, of something I was just telling myself this morning, to be honest, right? I was telling myself this, this morning. Um, you know, I've, I've always, you know, I've, I've, I've fluctuated on a, on a weight perspective, you know, going up and down in weight and trying to figure, you know, figure it out as it relates to weight. Um, and, you know, I said to myself Thank you. I said to myself, you know, I looked this morning, I looked in the mirror, um, I've, I've released a lot of weight, um, eating right. And I, you know, I was about to jump in the shower. I'm giving y'all, I'm giving y'all too much information, but I was about to jump in the shower. So I took my clothes off to jump in the shower and I looked in the mirror, right? And when I looked in the mirror, you know what I'm saying, like, you know, like, I'm, I'm a muscular guy, you know what I'm saying? I'm a muscular guy. So you know what I'm saying? If you ever met me in person, you know, like, like I ain't no, you know, I ain't no skinny guy. I'm a muscular guy, you know. You know, my muscles jumping everything. Like if y'all, if y'all watching on the video, you know what I'm saying? I can make my muscles jump. You know what I'm saying? I'm a muscular guy, right? But, but, but, but, um, because of my eating habits, I don't eat a lot. I just eat late, you know what I'm saying? I go to bed. So I, so because of my eating habits I've accumulated a lot of fat surrounding my muscle, you know what I'm saying? You know what I mean, Tosh? What up? Chill, Tosh. I mean, you know what I mean? So look, yeah, I mean, y'all can see it, you know what I'm saying? But because of my eating habits, you know what I'm saying? Like, look, because, because of my eating habits, I've accumulated a lot of, a lot of fat over the muscle, you know what I'm saying? I, I've accumulated a lot of fat over the muscle.
Right?
And so I'm about to jump in the shower, and I look, and I said, yo, like, like in a moment of being proud, right? In a moment of being proud, I said, yo, I said, yo, you almost, you almost there, right? You almost got it. That's what I said. I think, I think, I think I told myself like, like that, right? I was like, yo, you almost got it. And then I got mad at myself. And that's why I'm giving y'all this message. I got mad at myself because I said, hey yo, you've been celebrating almost for too long. Don't, don't miss that. Don't miss that. Yo, you've been celebrating almost for too long, my guy. I get it, right? I get it. You almost there. I get it. But how long will you celebrate almost? Yo, how, how long are you gonna sell it? And this is my message to you. How long are you gonna celebrate almost? How long are you gonna look at your bank account and be like, yo, we almost— all right, we almost did this, right? How long are you gonna look at your success and say, yo, I almost hit the number one bestseller, y'all almost finished writing the book, I almost put the video out, right? I almost fill in the blank. I almost started the business, right? How long are you gonna celebrate almost, yo? How long? Because at the end of the day, it's good, right? Like, for, for all of my, um, negative self-talkers out there, right? For all of my negative self-talkers out there, I get it. Right? You want you want to talk to yourself nice, right? Talk to yourself nice. I'm not I'm not talking to you. If if you've been procrastinating for a very long time and you finally did something and you happy about doing that, that's dope. I'm happy for you. But I I know I know I'm talking to you. I know somebody right now hearing this words. Are you satisfied with almost? You've been at almost for almost a decade. You've been at almost for for two years. You've been at almost for five. Like you've been at almost for a very long time, and almost doesn't count. Almost doesn't count, right? I need I need you to I need you to I need you to. Go after your dreams with a sense of urgency. Newsflash: you do not have tomorrow. Let me just be clear about that. You do not have tomorrow. Tomorrow does not exist. And so if if if you're if you're right now prolonging what you know you should be doing because you think you have tomorrow. then you are lying to yourself. You are lying to yourself. Stop lying to yourself and have a sense of urgency about your success. Because like I stated earlier, the success is not even about you though, and that's what you don't understand. You don't understand that if you stop making success about you and made it about the purpose that God gave you, that you would actually— you would be taken care of faster than focusing on you. Bring that back, bring that back, bring that back. You think focusing on you is going to get you the success that you desire, but the truth is if you stop focusing on you and focusing— focus on the gift that God gave you and gave that gift to who God told you to give that gift to, you would be taken care of automatically. And so you sitting around wasting prayers— I said what I said— you sitting around wasting prayers asking God to show you the way when God showed you the way and made you who you were in the beginning, and you just not listening. You just, you just trying to do it the way you want to do it, but then want to ask God why God ain't blessing you. Come on, man. So I need, I need you to run after your destiny. I need you to stop playing, right? I need you to stop playing. I need you, I need you to, I need you to stop playing. I need you to, I need you to have a sense of urgency. I need you to have a sense of urgency. Stop, stop acting like you got tomorrow and stop acting like, like you have, you, you have a choice in this. Like you have a, like you have a voice in this matter. Like you, like you have a choice. Like you have a voice. Like y'all, nah, just nah. It's not about you, right? Somebody, somebody, somebody is waiting for you. You are not tuned into mind, right? Somebody is waiting for you. Elevate your mind. Somebody's waiting for you. Yup, somebody's waiting.
See, all of us survived, but we wouldn't be here. We all survived, but we wouldn't be here. But some of us survived with everything working for us.
Some of us survived with everything working, huh?
You don't just sit down like you're sitting at the bus stop, listlessly, aimlessly looking into the wind and the weather, waiting on the bus to come. It means that while you're waiting, you ought to be doing push-ups and jumping jacks and lifting up barbells because you're renewing your strength. What are you renewing your strength for? Because you need to be strong enough to bear the weight of the favor that God's going to release.
Hey yo, the favor is about to be released. All you gotta do is listen.
Sustained by a thing you can't even describe. You can't even tell people what it's like, but you just know that something is about to happen. Is there anybody who knows what I'm talking about? You, you, you just knew something.
I don't care what it Looks like your season.
I don't care whether you're 17 or 77, when God gets ready to bless you, he said it is never too late for you to get what you need. And I'm telling you today that it is dangerous to give up too soon. People get upset when you got your blessing outside of them.
Yeah.
There are some other folk in this room who survived, didn't have this, didn't have that, Didn't have the other, didn't have help, didn't have a husband. Sometimes didn't have a job. Sometimes didn't have a friend. Sometimes you had to push yourself. Sometimes you had to encourage yourself. You never had everything working at one time, but you were moving. You were in the dark, but you were still fighting in the dark, working in the dark, bought your house in the dark, raised your kids in the dark. You know God was on your side. You didn't You waited and you waited and you waited. But whoever you are, I want you to understand this is the time. This is the moment you've been waiting on. You've been waiting all your life to get to the point that you are right now. You're in the right place at the right time for a miracle to break loose in your life. If it had happened 10 years ago, you couldn't have handled it. If it had happened 3 years ago, you wouldn't have been mature enough to handle it. You had to go through everything you went through in the dark to get you tough enough. Strong enough and courageous enough and tenacious enough. And now you're ready. Snap somebody, say, I'm ready.
Yep, everybody gotta pick up the pace. Everybody gotta pick up the pace.
That's why I can't deal with people who cannot pick up the pace. Don't be scrolling when I got a 911 on you. I need people.
You'll stop scrolling.
And do not allow the cares of this world to destroy your passion for living. You have to run after it. Success is always— I would rather aim for the stars and not hit them than to not aim at all. I would rather go after it and not get it than not go after it at all. I'd rather try and fail than not try at all. I don't want to live with the idea of wonder what would have happened had I done more with my life. I'm gonna go for it.
Come hell or high water, I'm going after my destiny. Go after your destiny, y'all. You can't stroll after your destiny.
You can't walk after your destiny. You gotta run.
You gotta run.
Run after your destiny. Do not stroll, do not walk, do not meander, do not wander, but roll after your destiny. You gotta run, you gotta run, you gotta run. You can't just wake up in the morning, let me see what's gonna happen today. I don't know what I'm gonna do, I don't know what I'm gonna wear, I don't know what I'm gonna cook. I don't know where I'm gonna go. I just woke up. Oh, you should stay in the bed. Give the day to somebody who's gonna run after your destiny. Give the day to somebody who has a plan, who has a strategy, because success is never an accident.
And if you don't want it, get out my way. If you don't want to, get out of my way.
People who want to do something with their life, who want to run.
You gotta run out here. You gotta run out here. You gotta run out here.
You gotta run out here. You gotta run out here.
Walking salute, salute.
You gotta run out here. I appreciate you, man.
It's running time. It's running time.
It's not walking time. It's running time.
It's running time.
Get up out of my face because I'm getting ready to run. Don't have time for what you talk about because I'm getting ready to run.
I'm gonna run.
Gotta run. I'm running for my life.
Gotta run.
Gotta run.
I need you to run, y'all. Come on, you playing around.
I'm getting ready to run like I never run before.
Yeah.
I'm getting ready to leap like I never leap before.
Yeah.
I'm getting ready to shout like I never shout before.
Yeah.
I'm getting ready to dance like I never dance before.
Yeah.
Come hell or high water. The energy, y'all.
You gotta run after your destiny, y'all. You can't stroll after your destiny.
You can't walk after your destiny.
You gotta run.
Yep.
Run after your destiny. Run after your destiny. Do not—
do not scroll. Do not walk. Do not meander.
But roll after your destiny. You gotta run. You gotta run. You gotta run. You can't just wake up in the morning, let me see what's gonna happen today.
I don't know what I'm gonna do.
I don't know what I'm gonna wear. I don't know what I'm gonna cook. I don't know where I'm gonna go. I just woke up. Oh, you should stay in the bed.
Give it to somebody who's gonna run after your destiny.
Give the day to somebody who has a plan, who has a strategy, because success is never an accident. And if you don't want it, get out of my way, because there are some people Who wanna do something with their life, who will run, who will run, you know what I'm saying?
So it's, it's time, y'all. I need you, I need you to understand that it's running season, right? I, I need you to understand it's running season. I need you to know that, uh, come on, yo, you owe, right? You owe. Um, you owe— um, salute, salute, salute to Ty. So I, so I, so I go, so I go call you out. Um, because I was gonna read, I was gonna read your message. Um, but I, but, but I, but the only thing I'll say to that, um, I'll read it, I'll read it. Um, so on Facebook, fast shout out to anybody on Facebook, it says Mentorship is important, but reaching out to you has been crazy. Thought we were better than that. People come to these on different levels. I use my resources to help those who couldn't even imagine seeing themselves in a financial stability lifestyle. Planting the seed is important too. It's powerful what you learned. It's a necessary teaching. Just hope you don't forget those who's focusing on the non-believers. Everyone has a calling, but we must connect the dots. Um, and so I'm confused, right? I'm confused because that's who I talk to every single day, um, of my life, right? Uh, and, and I, and I, and I'm just saying this mess— I, I only read that message, and I'll give y'all context to the message. Um, is that Uh, this is somebody that I, that I, uh, grew up with, um, that I, I probably haven't spoken to in over 20 years. Yeah, I think I want to say over 20 years. Um, yeah, somebody I just grew up with. I mean, I'm, I'm not downplaying, right? It's somebody I grew up with, um, and I haven't spoken to in over 20 years who I believe anybody, not even just if you know me, if you don't know me, if you knew me, whatever. Um, this is just in general. When you are asking somebody for something, understand, understand what you're asking and understand who, who you're asking it from. And what I mean by that is, um, I am a public figure, right? And what that means is that if you Google my name My name comes up, and I'm not saying this as a flex. If you Google my name, my name comes up. If you look at my timeline, you see everything I'm doing, right? And so I think it's it's it's disrespectful of my time if somebody is reaching out to me but not fully understanding at what level I'm at. I just want to be 100% honest with you. That's it, right? If, if, if you, you gotta understand what level somebody's at. Um, I had, I had the periods of my life, uh, in which, um, I could do certain things. And, and it's, it's not even, it's not even about, it's not even about whether I want to or not. It's just, I just cannot. I cannot do certain things. I just cannot. Right? Meaning that, um, I look, I run a multi-million dollar business, right?
Imagine this. Let me.
I always say this. I always say this. Imagine, imagine somebody, um, who knew Steve Harvey when Steve Harvey lived in Ohio reached out to Steve Harvey and said. Uh, hey Steve Harvey, I need you to come talk to my school. Let's just say that, right? I personally believe that that would be like almost like disrespectful to ask Steve Harvey to come speak at his school, right? Because— What up, Ty? Um, I think it would be disrespectful to ask Steve Harvey to come talk at Steve Harvey— just talk to a school because, uh, of everything he got going on. Not that he wouldn't do it, he probably would do it, would probably love to do it. But the way his calendar is set up, the way everything he's doing, all that, right? Like that has to take precedent, right? And so just and so this is just for everybody. Just keep in mind how you approaching people. You know how you you know how you can't you can't guilt me, right? You can't guilt me into doing something that I just cannot do, right? Because there's a protocol, right? You cannot. You cannot reach out to me directly, um, because the truth of the matter is that I'm like— I'm— I have so much on the line that I say yes to everything. So if you— if you know me, know me, I say yes to everything, and it's hurt me in the past. And so my life— and this is my— my life is not about me, right? And when I say my life is not about me, I'm saying that there's too many people that rely on me on a daily basis for me to act like, um, I'm in charge of my life, right? And just so catch, catch my drift, catch my drift, right? Um, when the president, right, when the president gets elected, right, when the president gets elected as the as the leader of the free world, the president no longer is in charge of their life. Like, the president just can't be like, yo, I'm gonna go out and hang out with— nah, the president can't do that because the president is responsible for running a country. And so the president now has to, regardless of having that powerful position, the president now has to, has to check in with Secret Service, has to do— there's a protocol For for the president to go out and do certain things, right? And so a lot of y'all too, and this is not this is not about me, and I I I always use um real examples to teach you something, right? So a lot of y'all, right? A lot of y'all are at a space, right? A lot of y'all at a space where You're making decisions about your life that— and you're being nonchalant about your life, and you're letting people guilt you, and you're letting people tell you, oh, you don't come around enough. Oh, I thought you were better than that. I thought— like, you letting people guilt you into doing stuff that you know is detrimental to your life, right? You're letting people talk you out of your blessing. You're letting people tell you that you're not supportive enough or you don't give enough, where all you do is give, right? You're letting people bamboozle you out of your spot because this— because God, God is guiding your footsteps, right? God is guiding your footsteps, and God is telling you, right? God is telling you which way to go, but you're allowing Your ego, right? Because ego works both ways. You're allowing your ego edging God out. You're allowing your ego to have you do things that God ain't tell you to do. Why is that? Because oh oh somebody say you not you not fill in the blank. You you care about what they think about you. You care about what they say about you. You care. How they how they gonna perceive you? I don't I don't care. I don't care about about how I'm perceived, right? I don't care about how I'm perceived because because I I I I only I only require or I only want the creator to tell to to tell me how to how to be used. I'm not gonna allow other people to use me how they want to use me. Right? Trust the manufacturer. Catch these bars.
Dr.
Miles Monroe.
Catch these bars, y'all. Listen, hold on.
The key to freedom is knowledge.
The key to freedom is knowledge.
The key to knowledge is truth.
The key to knowledge is truth.
Truth is the manufacturer. I repeat, there's a principle: the key to truth is the manufacturer. Let's talk. Knowledge is the key to freedom, but the key to knowledge got to be checked carefully. Are you supposing that knowledge With power. That's not necessarily true because you can learn the wrong thing. Jesus said the only thing that can set you free is not knowledge, but knowledge of the truth. Now I mentioned to you that truth, the key to truth is who? The manufacturer. What do I mean by that?
The manufacturer who created it.
The manufacturer is the only one who knows the truth about his product. Yeah, let me try it one more time. The manufacturer is the only one who knows the truth about this product. Everybody else is experimenting. Everybody else is guessing, and everybody else has opinions. The manufacturer knows the truth about his product. That's why you shouldn't get information from anyone else except the manufacturer. Don't even believe the retailer because he's in business for sales. That's why I don't trust humans.
Don't trust humans, y'all.
To tell me who I am.
To tell you who you are.
Don't depend on customers' experience.
Don't, don't Depends on customer experience.
Because some customers don't know how to use it. Y'all are slow here tonight. Many of us have literally allowed people to talk us out of good products.
Uh-oh, wait.
Because they abused it. Uh-oh.
Yo, they— yo, they—
what?
Hold on.
Not because your marriage didn't work doesn't mean marriage doesn't work.
Don't listen to people, y'all. Trust the manufacturer.
You didn't know how to stay married. You didn't follow the manufacturer's manual. You didn't follow the specifications. Are you understanding me? What is a manual? The word manual is— you check it, you'll see it's spelled this way: M-A-N-U.
Wealthdomination.com, y'all. Join the 5-day challenge.
Which means to make or make up. Manu. Now you put the word manu and put another word next to it, factor, which is the factor that man uses, which means the factor that made the product. You have the word manufacturer.
With me.
So a manufacturer is the factor that Made the product, and the book that he sends with it never comes from the retailer. Manuals are never produced by wholesalers.
Kathy's boss, y'all.
Manuals are never printed by customers. It's called a manual because it's from the manufacturer, which means the manual means the maker's mind.
The maker's mind.
Write it down. It means the maker's mind. What the maker did was took his mind and put it on paper and sent it with his product so that when you read the manual, you're reading his mind about this product. And he's telling you, don't attempt to operate this product until you've read my mind completely.
Why?
Because I'm the only one who knows this product.
Why? Because I made it, I designed it.
I I designed all of the circuits. I know the potential of my product. Now, the manual that you have with the product— if you ignore the manual, you are ignoring the mind of the maker. And if you ignore the maker's mind, then you are experimenting. People who have read the manual do not experiment. Jeff, Jeff, salute. They know what to do. They know how to—
Wait, hold on, let me, let me just break this down because I gotta go, right? Because I got a 9 o'clock appointment, right? Uh, so I'm late, I'm late for this meeting, but let me, but let me break this down, right? Um, trust the manufacturer. Hold on, wealthdomination.com is the website you go to to join the 5-day challenge. We got Grant Cardone. We got, um, we got Grant Cardone. We got Magic Johnson. Come spend 5 days with us, you know, so, so wait, so we could, you know, so we could tap in. But, um, think about this though, right? Think about this. Trust the manufacturer, right? The manufacturer who created the product is telling you how to use the product. If you allow other people to tell you how to use a product that they did not create, then you could be led down a path that is, is not necessary or that the creator did not create, right? And so trust the manufacturer, right? Trust the manufacturer. Stop listening to everybody tell you how to be used, right? Trust the manufacturer. You know what your gifts are. You know what you should be doing. You know, uh, how, how you are, are using that gift. And here's the other thing though too, you owe nobody, right? The only people you owe, the only people you owe is God. And the people that believed in you and the people that were there that helped you get where you— where you're going, right? I say this every day. I say this every day, right? My wife is my life partner. And what does that mean? And I, you know, I don't even have to call her my wife. As long as I have breath in my body, right? As long as I have breath in my body, That woman will like, will always be next to God to me, right? It's like God, then it's her.
And why?
Because when I didn't believe in myself, when I didn't believe in myself, when I didn't see my power, well, I didn't see what God was trying to point me to. Not only did she point me to God, Right? Not only did she say, hey, take— go here, right? Go to God, right? Not only did she say go to God, but she gave me a level of support that nobody has ever done, right? A lot of people will, will wait till you get to a certain level to all of a sudden want to be a support system, right? And, and, and all of a sudden act like you owe them something when you owe nobody nothing. Right? I owe God, um, my, my mother, right? Let her soul rest in peace. And so every single day I walk out of— I walk out of this house, I represent Sharice Ann Nelson, right? So, so even though she's not here in the physical, she's watching. And in fact, if you— if y'all notice, I started going harder after she passed.
Why?
Because there's no way, no way that, that my mother sacrificed everything that she sacrificed for me to act like and, and play— and play—
What up?
And, and play with my life like she, she didn't give her whole life for me, right? So after my mom passed, I went even harder, even harder. I'm talking about the hardest I've ever went in my life.
Why?
Because I owe, right?
I owe.
I owe God. I owe the First Lady. I owe my mother. I owe my community to do what? To be greatness on display. Hold on. I'm gonna leave y'all with this last one. I'm sorry. I'm just gonna be late. This is what I need you to go here.
You now tapped in.
Last one, last one, y'all. Last one, y'all. Last one, last one.
And I gotta go.
What time is it? I gotta go.
Radio.com.
What is your target or something to watch? Why would I stop? I am unstoppable. Why would I stop? This is the reason I'm alive.
Never take life for granted because sometimes don't take life for granted. And if you're not who you're supposed to be, adversity is not gonna say, man, I'm gonna let you gather yourself and I'm gonna come back. Opposition is not gonna say, man, I'm gonna let you get your stuff together and I'm gonna be back. Like, I didn't know my life was gonna change on September the 9th. I was playing football, I was doing the thing that I loved. I was 8 games away from the NFL, projected top 30 draft pick. I went out and made a tackle and found myself in the emergency room that night fighting for my life. But my mother had nothing to worry about. They asked my mother, are you worried about your son? She said, I'm not worried about him at all because I know he's a survivor. What is that? And that leads me into why I keep this bucket with me. You know, a lot of people know I live by this thing called Empty the Bucket, right? And people like, Empty the Bucket ain't got this cute slogan, Empty the Bucket, but they don't know the foundation of what it really is. They don't know the accountability behind it. They don't know the responsibility behind it. Every day in my house, I got 3 buckets. I got a bucket when I wake up and I look in my bedroom, it's a bucket. I got a bucket in my office. I got a bucket in my weight room at my house. And what that bucket stands for, for me, that bucket means I have to give everything I got to everything I'm involved in. And it has nothing to do with the product, but more about my personal standard of excellence never changes. And it doesn't depend on the circumstances, it doesn't depend on a situation, and it never depends on a person. I have a personal standard of excellence.
Personal standard of excellence.
I deserve to give my wife the best version of me. I just believe I deserve to give my kids the best version of me. I just believe the people—
the best version, y'all.
The best version. the best version of me. And so I take a personal level of pride in everything that I do because I almost lost my life behind the game of football, and God placed me on this path. And so now it's not even about me.
It's not even about me.
Meaning, would you do what you do if the outcome wasn't attached to what you were doing? That's why I don't even get caught up with people that do things for money. I'm not impressed with how much money you make. You know the true wealth— level of wealth? You know the true measure of wealth? Is if they took all your money.
If they took what? Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm gonna say it again so you can catch it.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Yo, measure of wealth. If they took all your money away, what would you be worth, right? If they took your money away, if they took your— if they took it away, what you would be worth, right? And so That is where I want everybody to be, right? I promise you, my mission has always been— and y'all can do y'all Googles— the mission has always been greater than money. It's always about freedom, freeing people. You could go, you could go to YouTube right now Right? You could go to YouTube right now and look up videos. Look, I used to have a chipped tooth. You could find me with a with a big old baseball cap and a chipped tooth talking the same thing I was talking talking today, 13 years ago, talking the same thing, right? Well, I think yeah, I think I was still working at the bank at the time. No money. Still, right? But, but, but the mission has always been the same. The goal has been the same. Um, you know, again, as you elevate though, as you elevate to, to next levels, do not, um, do not let anybody try to, try to, try to bring you down, um, for not understanding what level you on. That's it. If some— if people don't understand what level you on, they just don't understand what level you on. That's cool. That ain't none of your business. You have a mission, do that mission. If, if, if, if God saw it fit to take everything away, as long as I have breath in my body, right, I will move in that mission. In fact, I believe wholeheartedly that's actually the way to get to the bag, right? If you want to get to the bag, just be obedient. Just be who God has destined you to be. Be that, right? You don't become a millionaire when the money's in your bank account. You become a millionaire in your mind first. Right? And as you, as you, as you be it, then you do it, then you can have it.
This everybody that's chasing that greenback, everybody that want that dollar. If you got it and they stripped you of it all, what would you still be worth?
What would you still be worth?
And if you don't have the things that the process creates, you won't keep it anyway. I wasn't quitting, I wasn't giving up, I wasn't stopping. That's not my pedigree. That's not who I am, and so I'm not even gonna entertain it. And I think the quicker you eliminate something, the quicker that you make up in your mind you're gonna get to the outcome. It's just like the Navy SEALs. It's just like the SEALs. That's why the SEALs are so bad. They make up in their mind before the mission that they're going to complete the mission. They make up in their mind before they set out on the mission, we are going to complete the mission. Meaning if it does not kill me, if I get an arm injury along the way, a leg injury along the way, a feet injury along the way, if you do what You will not stop my drive. No petty adversity will not stop me.
You can't stop my drive.
One of the greatest pieces of advice that my mother gave me was this: so whenever you start, you make sure you finish.
You make sure you finish it.
And the problem with the world today, people get involved with things, and if they don't like a certain person, if they don't like the process, if it's not what they thought it was, they quit. And what they don't understand about quitting— quitting behind Becomes a habit that doesn't just affect you later on in life when you get a wife and you get some kids or you get a family. It's gonna come back to haunt you and then one day affect them. That is why I tell you the process is more important than the product. It's not even about the outcome for me. It's about can you take pride in what you do as an individual every night when you look in the mirror knowing that you gave everything you had.
Give everything you have.
No money doesn't have to be attached to it. It's about learning to work from the inside out. Out in life, and not from the outside in. When you work from the inside out in life, you understand your why, you understand your how, and you understand your what. Life is going to see how bad you want what you say you want. And so if there's never a level of commitment to it, and what commitment is commitment? People think commitment is just saying yes, I'll do because the environment is right and it's cute. People get in certain environments, man. Are you gonna do it? Do you feel like doing it? Do you think it's right? Yeah, man. Let's I'm doing do it. it. It's cool, let's do it, let's do it, man. But what commitment is— commitment is staying true to what you said you were going to do long after the mood that you have set it in has left. Meaning when you don't feel like getting up in the morning, you get your butt up in the morning, you do what you said you were going to do anyway. Meaning when you don't feel like sacrificing, you get your butt up and you sacrifice anyway. Meaning when you don't feel like being dedicated to it, you stay your butt dedicated anyway because you understand what the process will go on to produce later on in your life. It's not about the outcome. Eliminate the outcome. And we have to get to the point where we're willing to impose our will on certain things. Impose your will on it. It's just as if you were facing an opponent. Impose your will on it. Life will give in to you if it's not— if it knows you're serious about whatever it is that you're trying to do. Life will give in to you. When I went back to school, I had to learn how to write all over again with my left hand. I've been right-hand dominant my whole Right. You think the teacher came up to me and said, Ink, I know you got a paralyzed right arm and you don't know how to write again. We're gonna give you a little leverage. We're gonna let you take your time on these 30-page papers. No. Inky, here's your 30-page paper.
I need it by tomorrow.
I had some great friends. I didn't have one friend that was about to knock out a 30-page paper for me.
I had to sit my butt in disability services and write that paper by myself.
I had to learn how to tie my shoe all over again.
I had to go up to people and say, man, can you help?
My roommates, can you help bathe me, man? My life totally changed, and they gave me an opportunity to stop. And most people, when you give them an opportunity to stop while they're chasing something, they take advantage of it because they feel as if, man, why did this have to happen to me? I felt as if, why not me? This is the perfect opportunity to use this to be a blessing. Than I'm gonna somebody tell you something, man. else. And you know what, it's not even about me, to be truthful. It's not even about me now. It's about repaying the people that invested in me and saw something in me when I couldn't see it in myself. Now this is the perfect time to give them a return on their investment. That's why I went on to get my master's degree. At a certain point in life, it can't just be about you. When, when do we get to the point where we start honoring the sacrifices?
Honoring the sacrifices, y'all.
When do we get to the point where we say, Mom, I really appreciate those sacrifices you made for So I'm not quitting as a result of it. I guarantee you I'm coming out of Michigan State with a degree. I guarantee it. And it doesn't matter the outcome. It doesn't matter what I go through. I guarantee you. I went to my mother and I told her, I will never embarrass you. I will never quit because you sat in the park with me when I was 7 years old. So it's not even about me having a paralyzed right arm. It's not even that deep. The reason I wake up and live my life the way that I do, because I understand somebody is looking at me for my passion. Somebody is looking at me for my drive. I'm not gonna quit. Somebody is looking at me for my energy. Somebody is looking at me every day to keep going, just like somebody is depending on each of you.
It's not about you, man.
Blessings don't come to you, blessings flow.
They flow through you, y'all.
And the moment that you understand that, you will realize your existence is not just about you. It's a lot of people that paved the way for you to be in a position that you're in. Honor that. Have a certain level of pride in what you do. Take pride in what You do. If God's name is on something, you should operate a certain way. You shouldn't just do it just to do it.
Yep.
I don't understand how people do that. How can people get up and just go through the flow of life? How do people do that?
All right, y'all gotta go.
Y'all, I can't do that. When I look at my—
gotta go, y'all.
Gotta go, gotta go. All right, so I gotta go. I appreciate y'all. Uh, thank you everybody. Tap in. Oh, that's Inky Johnson. Um, thank you for everybody that tapped in, uh, the Ash Cash Show every Monday through Friday, uh, 8 AM to 9 AM Eastern Standard Time. Um, thank you, thank you, thank you to all of, um, the real supporters, you know what I'm saying? Um, people who have, who have bought books, who've purchased programs, who are on my lives. Who watch my show, who share the show, who tag me, who don't tag me, who— like, think about this, right? Is the mission has always been bigger than the man. Always. Um, and what people don't realize when you make demands on, on people, um, you have to have— those demands have to be realistic. So thank you. Hey, hey, Tosh, look, I was telling Hector the other day— fast shout out to Hector. I wanna, I wanna publicly say this, matter of fact, right? So about her life, um, that's Tasha, uh, childhood friend, high school friend, her husband Hector Garcia, putting all the business out there. All right, um, that, that is a mark of a true Supporter, true friend, right? Uh, I remember, I think I say 2013. I remember 2013, uh, it had to be 2013. I wrote a book called, um, What the FICO? 12 Steps to Repairing Your Credit. And I was doing a small, you know, like I was— I've always been on the front line, always, um, about the community. I always, always about the community, always putting stuff out there. Um, and so somebody invited me to go speak at a library or something like that, you know what I'm saying? And I, you know, I put flyers on my social media, I did all of that stuff. Nobody came, right? It was about maybe like 13 people, but I don't care, right? Whether it's 13 people, 1,000 people, 12,000 people, a mil, it don't matter. I'm, I'm always gonna give you Ash Cash energy. If you know, you know. So I mean, I'm in the library, I'm doing my thing. I look up, who do I see? I see my brother Hector, right?
Every—
it don't— it doesn't matter everything that I've ever done. Like even when he's not available, he— like people don't realize, right? People don't realize the higher you get, uh, I want to say the lonelier they get, but people think that they can't talk to you regular. Right? And that man has been there from day one, you know what I'm saying? And so salute that man. Salute to everybody who— and, and whether you know me, you don't know me, salute to all the real supporters. Salute to the people who, um, are, are not asking for stuff, who are genuinely just like, yo, I see you, keep doing your thing. And understand That time is the one thing you can't never get back. And so if you asking me to give give up time, right? If you're asking to give up time, that is something that that is not given out freely. You know what I'm saying? So I just want to say that I love y'all. I appreciate y'all. Thank you for for all for everybody. You know what I'm saying? Thank you for everybody. Go to go to my website, I am AskCash.com.
