Welcome to iamashcash.com. And me, I am Ash Cash. I am on a mission to inspire and motivate you into action. Whatever your goal is, whatever your dreams and aspirations are, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Business consultant, and I've been in banking for the last 15 years of my life. But prior to my banking, I actually grew up in Harlem, New York City, St. Nicholas Projects. So, I am a recipient of my PhD, but it's not a doctorate degree, it's my public housing degree. So, I'm from the projects, grew up, income, and because of that, I know both sides of money. I know what it's like to be poor. I know what it's like to not have money, but I also know what happens when you change your mindset. So here are 5 steps to building financial freedom. Step 1 is change your mindset about money. Stop being a consumer and be an investor. That means— Sell your voice. Okay, how about selling freebies? What's that about? I think that's something that people don't realize. If you go to Craigslist now, there's a lot of you know, curb alerts or free items that people are just giving away that are in great shape. So you can actually make a side hustle by picking those things up, making sure you dust them off and sell them back on Craigslist. That's brilliant. You take free stuff, you sell it, and then you make money. Absolutely. I hadn't thought of that one before. Okay. So you have skills. I don't care, you know, what your situation is. A lot of folks underestimate themselves. They think because they were part of the system that that's who they are. That's not who you are. It's a circumstance. You are not your circumstance. That's not who you are. So, tap into those natural skills that you have and learn how to be more confident and to apply yourself. Yeah, and the 6-block radius, there is no financial institution around. Most people are used to going to the check cashing place. They don't go to the check cashing place because they want to. They were going to the check cashing places because they had to. One other thing, overdraft sweep is if you have money in your savings account and you don't want to get charged the real $34 overdraft fee, they allow you to sweep money from your savings account to the checking account to cover those fees. But there's actually a charge for it. So, you're being charged to sweep your own money into the checking account to avoid the $34 overdraft fee. That's dirty, that's dirty. One last thing, thoughts become things. If you want to get out the rat race, you want to live the life of your dreams, remember, change your thoughts, you change your circumstances. Again, I am Ash Cash. Thanks for coming out.
