How Can I Serve You? - The Ash Cash Show 1.23.23

In this live‑streamed episode of the Ash Cash Show, host Ash Exantus (aka Ash Cash) blends financial motivation, spiritual alignment, and practical entrepreneurship advice. He opens by declaring the show’s purpose: serving God and the audience. Throughout the hour he addresses listener questions on topics such as money mindset, the relevance of mutual funds, how to interpret and survive a recession, the necessity of written agreements in business, and how to structure a social‑impact (non‑profit) venture as a revenue‑generating service company. A recurring theme is the concept of "alignment" – tuning into the energy or vibration of one’s desired outcome – and the importance of disciplined thought, mindful speech, and affirmations. Ash also shares a 5‑day challenge for making, managing, and multiplying money, and repeatedly emphasizes simplicity, gratitude, and the power of naming and speaking positively. The episode ends with a call to action to subscribe to his channels and a reminder that service to others is service to God.

Tell a friend to tell a friend. Um, you know, today, today, um, is about, um, service, right? So I, so I, I pretty You know, every now and then I want to know, you know, my, my goal, you know, I, I believe that all our goals in life is just to serve God, um, and we are all made in the image and likeness of God. So in order for me to serve God, I got to serve you, um, and that's why I'm always in the, in the energy of service, um. I woke up today, um, with, you know, a lot of different ideas, you know, grat— grateful, grateful for sure, you know what I'm saying? So a lot of gratitude, um, for everything that that is happening in my life right now. Um, and, and the truth is everything that's happening in my life is actually allowing me to serve better, you know. Um, and, and so, and so, you know, um, it's just a blessing, right? It's a, it's just a blessing to be in a space where, um, I can serve, you know, I can serve better. So, um, you know, for everybody, so salute to my YouTube, right? So everybody on YouTube, make sure if even if you don't watch me on YouTube Uh, if you have not subscribed to me on YouTube, please go to ashcasttv.com, subscribe to the YouTube channel. Uh, but salute to everybody on YouTube. Um, you know, uh, uh, Siobhan, uh, Audrey on, uh, Facebook. Um, so salute to everybody on Facebook. Uh, salute to everybody on, um, uh, Twitter. Uh, salute to everybody on Twitch. Some salute to everybody on LinkedIn. I see all of y'all. I appreciate y'all. Thank y'all for tapping in. And so, I'm just asking people, you know, for, you know, how can I serve you? Let me know how I can serve you. CEO Crystal J, I'm going to go— I'm going to get back to the alignment because I think— so, there was a question about alignment that I want to answer where Kamisha says, I listened to some of your show on Ash Cash TV about alignment. It was really unique message. Can you talk more about stepping into the energy you want to align with? Um, and so I'm gonna— Marv, what up? Marvin Saunders is in the building. I'm gonna talk about that because I think, I think that's a very, very important message. Um, I, I'm not, I'm not overseeing the mutual funds, uh, question. The only thing about, uh, going practical, like, like, I, I love, I love to talk money mindset. Um, and, and, and I could go through like basics of like what mutual funds are and things of that nature, but, um, you know, I have tons of books available. Mind Right, Money Right, 10 Laws of Financial Freedom. Like, I got a lot of books. Available on mutual funds. Um, I don't necessarily— um, I mean, mutual funds are dope, but, but there are other, uh, financial instruments that you can use that might be better than mutual funds. Uh, I would say, you know, Ian is a— is a— Ian Dunlap is a better— um, you know, he studies more about the markets than I do. Uh, and so, you know, definitely tune into the brothers, uh, you know, my brothers, um, on EYL, uh, the Market Mondays with Ian Dunlap. I think that's— I think that's a a great place to start. Um, so that's what I would suggest. I would suggest tapping with Ian. Um, so I'm gonna get back to the alignment question. Um, CEO Crystal J asks, how long do you think the recession will last? Um, I don't, uh, I don't know and I don't care. Um, I, I— forever though, forever. Uh, for the last 20, close to 20 years I realize that the news is not meant to— how do I say? The news is not meant to help you. It's here to scare you. And so I don't see a recession because a recession means that there's 2 consecutive quarters of non-growth. Um, me personally, um, and a lot of entrepreneurs I know, uh, we're continuing to grow. We're not, we're not seeing, um, we're not seeing a retraction in, in our, in our momentum. In fact, we're, we're making more impact and we're making more money. Um, and if, and if that's true for us, that's true for everybody. Um, and so I, unless, unless you, you know, you listen to the news and you you know, you, you allow them to, um, have you stop creating, have you stop innovating. The one thing I would say though, this is the one thing I would say, is that if you have cash available, um, so this is what I would do. I would— I wouldn't even say hold on to your cash because that's counter to, uh, circulation. What I would say is, um, I would figure out as soon as possible how to generate, uh, more impact and more income. Because, um, because the world is, is in— is, is getting into a recession, right? Uh, because the world is getting into a recession, I believe that, um, you know, a lot of things are going to come on sale. Um, and then as those things are going on sale I believe that there's going to be a lot of opportunity for people to take advantage of those, right? And so I, I just, I just want everybody to be ready, right? I just want everybody to be ready to take advantage of them. Um, you know, a lot of homes are going to get on sale, stocks are going to be on sale, um, business opportunities are going to be on sale. Um, and so I would, I would figure out how can you, um, you know, make more money, right? How can you make more money during this time? And believe me when I tell you this, millionaires and billionaires are made during these exact times. And so I would really— I would not focus on contraction, meaning holding back. I would focus on expansion at this time. What is the thing that people need during this time? And how can you provide that? How can you bring that to the marketplace? Um, also join our challenge. Uh, you know, Storm, Storm Leroy, the Employed Millionaire, Marvin Mitchell, Mr. Become Your Own Bank, and myself, uh, we have a 5-day challenge where we're going to be teaching you just that— how to make, manage, and multiply money, uh, in any, in any environment. Um, go to mypathtoprosperity.com. It actually starts tonight, uh, so tap in. Um, So question on YouTube. I am something great podcast says, how do you best protect yourself when doing business with others? Make make sure your paperwork right. Make make sure that you have everything is documented, right? Make sure everything is documented. Don't do anything on a handshake. Even even if see see what people think. Here's the funny thing about it, right? And I I'll use. Um, I'll use me, Marvin, and Storm as an example. Runway, what up? Um, I'll use, uh, me, Marvin, and Storm as an example. People think that, um, you get paperwork because you don't trust the person, right? People think— people think that you put paperwork together because you don't trust the person. But the truth is, is that— is that paperwork just— it is— is just— is necessary Because we have so many things going on, right? Peace and blessings, Sister Linda. We have so many things going on that when we may forget, right? And so prime example, there was a situation where me, Marvin, and Storm agreed to something, right? We agreed to something, and then as we agreed to it, Um, I remembered what was said. Um, Storm remembered what was said, and then Marvin didn't remember what was said, right? And so when, when we revisited, we was like, yeah, this was that. And Marvin was like, nah, we didn't say that. We was like, nah, we said this. And so now it's 2 people saying, nah, this happened this way. Nah, this happened that way. But if, if what we talked about was documented, there would be no room for Um, people forgetting, right? Um, I trust these brothers, you know what I'm saying? Like, I trust Marvin wholeheartedly. I trust Storm wholeheartedly. Um, I don't believe in my heart, right? I don't believe in my heart that any of, any of them would do anything malicious, um, to try to take advantage. But at the end of the day, um, there are, you know, people got a lot going on. I got a lot going on. I forget a lot. I forget stuff all the time, right? You might ask me something that happened last week and I might not even remember. Right? I might be like, yo, I might— I don't even remember, you know what I'm saying? And so I wanna, you know, I wanna make sure that y'all understand that, uh, Pixie Fire, salute. Uh, Jazzy Jazz, good morning, my sis. Um, I want— I want y'all to understand, um, you know, I, I want— I want you to understand that, that, that, that I would do paperwork. Any business agreements you're going into, right? Any business agreement, um, that you're walking— that you're walking into You have to make sure that that you have paperwork, that you have an agreement, that anything that y'all agree to it's it's is documented. Um, you know, and and and it's not about trust. I mean, that that's a part of it though, right? That's a part of it. Um, you know, but but but it's it's not it's not you know it's not only about trust. It's it's also about you know protecting what you know what was said. You know, um. All right, cool. I am greatness on display. Somebody asked, can I play? But I got two I am greatness on display, so you gotta let me know which one you want because I got, I got the, um, I got the greatness on display, which is like, right? I got, I got the, I got the one that's from David Shan's interview, and then I got the one that is, um, where I'm saying I am greatness on display. So I got two of them actually named the same, so I don't know which one you want to listen to. Uh, so let me know in the chat. Uh, let me see, let me see, let me see. I'm gonna go back to alignment, I promise you. I ain't gonna forget. We're gonna, we're gonna end off with alignment though, because I think that's a good, I think that's a good, uh, good topic. So we're gonna end off with that. Frank, what up? Um, Mika, what up? Miss Virgo's in the building. Uh, let's see, let's see, let's see. Josh, what up? 2020 Visionaire. Recession could last from, uh, from weeks to 17 months. Yeah, I'm cool though. I'm cool on that. Uh, appreciate you, my guy Dave Anderson. Appreciate the badge love. Um, trying to get through these comments. Um, the news is not— oh no, yeah, the new— the news gets paid, you know. The news, social media, all this stuff, they make— Pastor Sid, what up? They, they, they make money, right? They make money by, um, you know, by your fear, by attention, honestly. So whatever, whatever keeps the most attention. Unfortunately, positive stuff don't keep attention long, you know what I'm saying? Positive, positive stuff don't, don't, don't keep attention long. Green, what up? You know what I'm saying? And so, um, I downsized my business and cut down on expenses. My business is actually running more efficiently now. More money, more problems. When my business was larger, I had, uh, way more managing to do. Absolutely, that— I mean, that's a fact. I run lean. I run lean. I got, I got, I got four. I got four core people on my team, and um, and then everything else I outsource. So I run lean. So I know what you talking about. I was thinking the recession will last until we get Republican back in office. You said it. I didn't. Uh, you said it, and and this is is not not about politics, but. Uh, you may, you may, you may be on to something. You may be on to something because, you know, it's funny because I don't think people understand the differences between parties. Um, but, but this ain't a political show, so I'm not gonna talk about politics at all. Um, but there is a difference. Uh, paperwork is the tool that identifies the position. Facts. Um, I'm sorry, I'm trying to get— all right, this is, you know what I mean? Um, I'm trying to get Talisha. What up? Please save this live. Definitely, I'm saving it. But you can also go to my ashcasttv.com. Akisha, what up? All right, let me just get second one. Oh, the second one. I got you. Got you. Got you. Let me see if that this is the one. Just ask me this one. If God is the greatest, God is the greatest, right? There is nothing bigger. There's nothing better. There's nothing above. Walking in with Keys. What up, Keys? Stop there, right? That we're made in the image and likeness of what?
Of God.
So let me see up here if you have a line in the back. What up, what up, what up?
Image and likeness of God, and that—
who that make us, right? I am greatness on display, right? Copy that. I am greatness on display, right? Hill Black, thank you for the bad love. I am greatness on display. Right, he backed it up. How to find your gift, let's talk about that. One second, I'll talk about alignment though too, right? Right. How to just go vibe when it's going vibe. It's gonna vibe. Right. And so, uh, real quick, so somebody asked in the chat, um, how do you find your gifts, right? And so let me, let me just go to alignment. Let me stop, let me stop skipping over the alignment real quick, right? Um, let me not skip over the alignment. So, um, The question was asked about this unique— and I don't think it's necessarily unique, but this unique perspective of alignment, right? Like, how do you, um, how do you align with the energy of your purpose, right? How do you align with, you know, how do you get to a space where, um, you know, you're aligning with your desires, right? Um, and Alignment, oddly enough, alignment is really, really simple, right? Alignment is really, really simple. Alignment is simply, um, and because, you know, and it's funny because I'm hearing a lot of— so, so if you don't know, um, the word vibration, a lot of people, a lot of people, I'm hearing people talk about vibrations a lot. Um, and vibration just means energy, right? That, that's what vibrations mean, right? People, you know, people, uh, people call it different things though, right? People call it different things. And the truth of the matter, right, the truth of the matter is that— what, what, I forget, I forget the saying. They were like Um, in the streets they call it vibes, in the, in, in the church they call it spirit. Law of Attraction calls it vibrations, right? But whatever, whatever you call it, you know, whatever you call it, just know that it's real. Something, something along those lines, right? Um, and what, what I, what I need you to understand is that alignment Right? Being in alignment with something is just really about the energy, right? It's just really about being in something's energy.
That's it.
Um, you cannot, right, you cannot experience something that you're not energetically aligned with. It's not, it's not possible. So I just want you to be clear on that. It's not possible. It's not like— it's, it's so impossible. Like, it's not possible. It doesn't even There's not— there's no chance ever, right? And this is according to the law, not the law that Ash— not the law that Ash has made up, but according to the law. You cannot, uh, experience something, right? What up, brother? You cannot, um, experience something that you are not energetically aligned with. And so If you are in, and so here's the question, right? Here's the question, right? The question is if the only way you could feel hate is if you're in energetic alignment with hatred, right? The only way you can feel lack is if you're in energetic alignment with lack, right? And Abraham Hicks uses this you know, uses this, um, example, right, where, uh, it's like a radio station, right? It's like a radio station. Um, if I'm tuned in to a hip-hop station, then the only thing I'm going to hear is hip-hop, right? Um, if you are wanting, right, if you are wanting to listen to jazz, right, if you wanting to listen to jazz, then you have to tune into the jazz station, right? If you're tired, right, look, and here's the other thing, if you're tired of hearing jazz, right, if you're tired of hearing jazz, then you just have to change the station. If you want, if you want to, if you want to listen to country music, you got to tune into country, right? The truth is though too is that I don't, I don't believe that anything, right, anything is good or bad, right? I don't believe that anything is good or bad. I think that we all have a choice of what we want to Tune into, right? And so what does that mean? What does that mean? Because I believe, right? And again, this is based on the law. This is based on what God told us, right? Is that everything is work. Everything is in is in God's will. So everything is working for our greater good, right? And so if everything is working for our greater good, the good, the bad, the ugly, everything is working. Everything is from God, right? Everything is working in our greater good. And so. It's oh, it's also. Vertel, what's up, V? It's also how you look at things though too, right? Wayne Dyer says change the way you look at things; the things you look at will change, right? It's also how you look at things. It's also you know vibration is really also how you look at things, right? And so if you're feeling bad, then guess what? You're going to attract. So, catch this, if you're feeling bad, it's impossible to attract more bad things, right. Because there is no bad things, there are no good things, everything is everything. Don't miss that, that's a bar, right. There are no good things, there are no bad things, everything is everything. And so, if everything is everything, then how do we experience bad things? Well, we experience bad things because of how we're feeling. And so, if you're feeling bad, then you're going to attract things that continue to make you feel bad. Don't miss that. If you feel good, then you're going to experience more things that make you feel good. But guess what? You are going to be attracting those things. I've been in situations, I've been in situations where I was feeling good and something happened that normally I would have felt bad about if I was feeling bad, but I felt good about it because I understood— I saw the silver lining, I understood how this thing would be a blessing. But the only way I was able to see that was because I was in alignment, right. I was in energetic alignment With good, so it's really ultimately it's really not the thing, right? It's really what you think about the thing, right? It's really what you see about the thing. It's really what you speak about the thing, right? And so it's important that we keep it simple. You got to keep it simple. It's not that difficult. Keep it simple.
Keep it simple. The truth will cut through all the drama, all the misunderstanding, all the hurt, all the pain, all the memories. Keep it simple. I don't care how long you've been with Fifi or Boo Boo. If they leave you, it's not because something's wrong with you. They ain't the one for you. Keep it simple. You got laid off from your job? There's another divine opportunity waiting for you. Keep it simple.
You lost your house?
Well, in your Father's house there are Many mansions. Just hang around long enough. Keep it simple. The path to greatness: order, vision, trust, faith, and simplicity. Let's clean up our mouths. How we say what we say. And who we say it to.
Yep.
Do you know you can talk yourself into trouble a lot easier than you can talk yourself out of it? But if you become mindful about what you're speaking, it'll be a lot easier to handle some of the things that come up in your life with Speak it. Years and years and years ago, I learned a secret. I used to open my pocketbook, my purse. I'd get right down over it and I'd say, fill yourself with divine substance right now. Oh, you look at all that abundance just pouring down right now. Oh, I name everything and I speak to everything. My car got a name. I say, Gracie, how you doing this morning? Come on, we going traveling. My house got a name, Villanova, the Big Vision. I'm mindful of my mouth because I know that what comes out of my mouth must be created. Everything begins with a word.
Everything begins with a word.
Here's an affirmation: oh my, I can hardly wait to see the good that's gonna come out of this. No matter what it is.
No matter what it is.
As opposed to using our power to continue to affirm what's wrong, what's broke, what ain't happening, what's not happening, how horrible it is. Let's speak life into things. Let's speak life into our children. Let's speak life into our families, into our relationships. I can't tell you the number of people who write me and say, I need you to help me with my crazy family.
Why?
They your family. I don't even know that kind of crazy you got over there. This is just what I be thinking, and then I bless my head so that that thought will go away. But what if we started saying, wow, I know it looks like Boo Boo, my cousin, is having difficulty right now, but I see a brighter day for you? It's what Emmett Fox called gold keying, where you key something up with the radiant richness of what you want it to be, as opposed to affirming it as it is right now, as it is right now. So we want to clean up our mouths and what we say about each other. Keep it—
hey, low, top of the top.
Truth will cut through all the drama, all the misunderstanding, all the hurt, all the pain, all the memories. Keep it simple, right?
Keep it simple, y'all.
It's really—
it's really— alignment is really simple. It's really about what energy are you tuned into? That's it. It's no more complicated than that, right? What energy are you tuned into, right? And then, and once you realize, Sid, what up? Yo, Sid, I owe you a call, brother. I owe you a call. I owe you a call. You know, when when you when you when you realize. What energy that you're tapped into, that that's all you're gonna get. You cannot get you cannot get the opposite of what you're tuned into. Again, if you're watching Netflix, you can't you can't you can't watch Hulu, right? You can't watch Hulu and Netflix at the same time, right? And so you will you're always gonna get what you're tuned into, right? And so um. But you also look, I play, I play in makeup. You also, I personally would say, you know, don't necessarily affirm the things that you just that you don't want, right? Don't don't affirm the things that you don't want because your focus. Is your focus gives you the thing, right? A lot of us think, a lot of us think that we keeping it real by identifying where we, where we believe we are, right? You know, a lot of us think that we're keeping it real by identifying where we think we are, but, but honestly It's the opposite of that. You know what I'm saying? It's the opposite of that. And so you gotta you gotta realize that you have to only focus on the energy that you actually want, right? You have to focus on the energy that you actually want. And so you got you gotta be able you gotta be able to discipline your mind. Discipline your mind.
Right?
Shake that body, party that ball.
Discipline your mind. Discipline your mind. Look, discipline your mind to not focus on the things you don't want.
Now we understand who Jesus is, don't we? Now let's go on in this introductory session. of your 12-fold divine power. Jesus's calling the 12 disciples is a symbol of the God-conscious man who, by discipline and training, raises the 12 functions of his mind to apostleship. The 12 functions are aspects, are attributes Attributes or qualities of the mind must be made disciples. That is, they must be disciplined by the God-conscious man before they become apostles. An apostle is a disciplined quality of the mind raised to its office of spiritual leadership. An apostle is a spiritual leader, but the apostle must first of all become a disciple. Must be disciplined. The 12 disciples represent the 12-fold power of your mind, the 12 functions, the 12 faculties, the 12 aspects, qualities, attributes, and disciplines of your mind, which you must call, teach, train, give power, and command to serve Your good purposes. Ladies and gentlemen, you have a job to do, and the sooner you do it, the better. And until you do it, you're going to suffer. And that is the job of mind discipline. No, it's not always an easy job. Look at the time that Jesus had sometimes with his 12. Faculties are his twelve disciples trying to teach them and train them in discipline. He asked them once, "You fellas stay here and pray while I go yonder and pray, and watch with me for one hour." And when he got back, they were asleep. Making disciples is an inside job.
It's an inside job, y'all.
Mind discipline is an inside job that I must do. I want you to understand that. I'm coming back to Saint Matthew the tenth chapter and the first verse. In a few moments, your mind functions must be disciplined.
Your mind must be disciplined.
Must be made disciple. If you do not discipline the functions of your mind, they will act like an unruly mob and keep your life messed up and confused.
Let's put this in the first person so we will all know what I will.
Work is, and I'm going to help you to do this work. I must discipline my mind. I must discipline the functions of my mind. I must make disciples of the functions of my mind. You see, ladies and gentlemen, when you discipline the functions of your mind, when you make disciples of the functions of your mind, then they serve your good purposes. They serve your God purposes. But I've got news for you. If you do not discipline the functions of your mind, they will disserve you.
Yeah.
Judas didn't get disciplined. And he deserved the Christ. He betrayed the Christ. Now Judas has to be redeemed, and we're going to redeem Judas in the 12th session because Judas represents that aspect of you that you do not discipline. Don't go pointing your finger at Judas.
Yeah. Judas is why You have to be disciplined, y'all.
Every aspect of your mind that you neglect, either through willfulness or ignorance, the discipline will betray you, will betray the Christ. This is why I said a while ago, everything, every event in the Bible represents some aspect of your psychology. Theologians, they never guessed this. They're talking about Judas. Judas went and hung himself and never guessed that the Bible writer was trying to tell you that if you don't discipline your mind, your mind will hang you. It'll hang you. It'll worry you to death.
Uh-oh.
It'll irritate you to death. It'll aggravate you if you don't discipline it. So get your finger off of Judas now, and we've got to redeem him. There are some steps for making a disciple of an attribute of the mind, steps for disciplining the mind, and here they are. The first step says what? Recognize. You must recognize the faculties of your mind, that they exist. A quotation from Reverend Ike: What you recognize, you energize. And you should just recognize— Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm sorry. So this—that's the point that I wanted. I wanted you to get to, right? What you recognize, you energize, right? What you recognize, you energize. And so I play in makeup, right? I would—I would not recognize. And again, not recognizing something is—it doesn't mean that you're—you're—you're resisting it or running away from it. Um, I just would not energize it, right? I just, I just wouldn't energize it, you know? Um, I get it, you know what I'm saying? Like, I get it when we're in certain energies, uh, you know, you don't want to be delusional or you don't want to fool yourself, but the truth is, is when you're in certain energies, you have to, you have to You have to ask yourself, what will it take you to get to the, to the energy that you actually want, right? And you focus on that energy, because what you recognize, you energize. When somebody, when somebody feels sick, right? When somebody feels sick, all you're doing— and you're focusing on that sickness— all you're doing is energizing that sickness.
The attributes of your mind is a part of the calling of the disciples.
Yes.
So again, when it says Jesus called his disciples, it means Jesus recognized the attributes of his mind. Jesus recognized the qualities of his mind. Jesus recognized the aspects of his powers of being. And when you recognize the qualities of your mind, you do what to them? You energize them.
All right, y'all, I appreciate y'all. Thank y'all for tapping in. Um, that is the show. I'm gonna answer— I'm gonna answer a few more questions right now. Um, can you share a few tools one should implement, uh, to break the, the lack mindset when building a not-for-profit, uh, organization? I just wanted to touch on that. I think words are very important. You know, I think that, you know, nonprofit organizations are tough, tough because a lot of, a lot of that, a lot of that wording means that you don't make money. And I don't want you to think that. And so I don't like calling it nonprofit organizations. I like to call it, you know, a nonprofit organization is just a tax designation. So I, I just, I would like to call it a service company. Right? A social good company, right? And so, can you share a few tools one should implement to break the lack mindset when building a not-for-profit company? The first mindset or lack mentality is that if you're building a company that's for social good, you have to figure out what is the social good that you're offering and how can you provide a service that people could pay for. So, so, so you're, you're not only depending on, um, on other people's money, right? Because most people who have money only like to give money to people who have money. Yo, I, yo, I don't want you to miss that. Most people who have money like to give money to people who have money. That's the reason why you'll see a big nonprofit always get awarded the grants. You'll see a big nonprofit always get awarded, you know, they always got like multiple, uh, you know, funders and people are always giving them money. Because the truth is, is that if like, like, like for me, if I got, if I got money and I'm not gonna donate, I'm, I'm not gonna donate to your nonprofit organization so you could, so you could experiment with my money, right? Because if I have money, I— so anybody who has money, all they want is their money to grow, right? And so I, I'm not just gonna throw money away. I'm just not gonna— oh, just because I got it, I'm not just gonna throw money away and be like, okay, here you go, like, do whatever you want with it. As I'm— no, I'm— I don't, I don't I don't donate for my ego, right? I don't donate so I could be like, look, God, I gave. Because actually, God gonna be like, bro, why you gave and you wasn't sure if, if this money would do good, right? And so, and so for me, right, for me, I make sure, right, I make sure that if I'm donating, you have to have a record of, of, of being able to support yourself. And most people, I'm telling you, like, I've, I've been in a not— like, I've managed major nonprofits before. Most nonprofits want to, to support, uh, or, or most, um, nonprofit organizations get money because they can support themselves and they can show proof of being able to manage people's money. And so I would, if you're first starting out, I would, I would, I would Definitely not call it a nonprofit organization. Call it a social impact enterprise, right? A social impact enterprise. But then I would figure out what is the thing that people desire and how can you make people pay for it. So I'll give you a prime example. Like, I'm starting a social impact enterprise company that's related to Um, that's related to, um, what do you call this? It's related to, um, my, my brain just brought a blank for a second. It's related to recidivism, right? Um, and, and what, what— and so my first thing isn't to ask people for money. My first thing is to create a, um, create a program in which— hey, uh, create a program in which that program is, um, helping, right? Is, is getting results. And so, and so I treat it like a, like a— I treat it like, like an entrepreneurship, like a venture, right? And so I'm gonna be charging people at a discounted rate Um, for a program that's going to help them get their life together after, you know, after they get out of jail, right? And then I'm gonna go to nonprofit organizations who already have my population, and I'm gonna— right, I'm not gonna— it's not for free. I'm going to give them— so let's say, and this is a hack, let's say, um, a training program costs $5,000 per inmate. And so now when I, I'm— and I go to a nonprofit organization and there's 10 inmates, well, I'm not, I'm not giving— as a nonprofit organization, I'm going to donate $50,000 to this organization.
Come on.
You get where I'm going? I'm gonna train 10 of these people for free. At $5,000, 10 people, that's $50,000. So even though the organization didn't pay for it, I paid for it. And so as a nonprofit, I just donated $50,000 to this nonprofit organization, and I'm gonna keep doing that, right? I'm gonna keep doing that in order to show what my budget is. Right? And then now when I know what my budget is, I can go to other organizations and ask them to donate or or do a match. I can say, "Hey, I've donated $100,000 so far to nonprofit organizations. I need you to to to match it for me." And now that might that might be that might be over your heads. I don't know if y'all got what I what I just said there.
Right?
And now the organization match it with with dollars, and then that that's how I fund my program. And then as I continue to fund my program, now I go to other nonprofits. I go to grants. I go to different places to try to to try to you know get some grants and things of that nature. All right, that's it, y'all. I appreciate y'all.
