Today I want to talk about consciousness because a lot of us, um, are, are asleep. A lot of, a lot of us are asleep to our good. A lot of us are asleep to the, the promises that God made us. A lot of us are asleep to, um, all of the, the, the things that have been added to your life. You just don't know it yet. Like, like big, big blessings, not little blessings. Big blessings have been added to your life, but you you don't even know it because you're asleep.

Right?

Big blessings. I'm talking about big blessings. I'm talking about blessings that that are gonna shock. They might even shock you. That's how big the blessings are. Like you got you got such look you got such big blessings reserved for you that your your your your naysayers. They gonna be shocked. They gonna be like, yo, where this come from? They not— they not— they gonna be so shocked. They gonna be surprised. Like, where did this come from, right? Those that didn't believe in you, they gonna be shocked. You go— I'm talking about even your supporters though is gonna be shocked, right?

Even—

even the people that support you, even your supporters, even the people who are on your side Only if you knew. Only if, only if you were conscious. Only if you were up. Only if you woke up and you were conscious enough to know, to know, right? Only if you were conscious enough to know what blessings were reserved for you. You just got to know it though, right? If I, if I'm thirsty right now, right, if I'm thirsty and I want something to drink but, but I don't see water, right, I don't see water, then I may die of thirst, right? I may die of thirst because something that's available to me in plentiful Right behind my computer screen, I might have a whole water fountain, right? I might have a whole water fountain that I have access to, right? But because because I I don't see it because I'm asleep because I'm I'm not conscious I'm not aware of of the water fountain being behind this this monitor then did I did I you know somebody might die of thirst. It might die of thirst because they're not conscious. And so right now, look, everything, everything that you desire also desires you. That's just the law. The moment you have a desire for something good, right? The moment you have a desire for something That desire also wants you, but you but you have to be aware of that. You have to be aware. You have to be conscious, right? You have to be conscious of that.

And with God, when you make that conscious contact, you are now tapped in and tuned in.

I need you to be conscious that time.

I need you to be conscious when you go to that place, when you do the meditation, and when you make what we call conscious contact.

You got to make conscious contact with your higher self.

And with God, when you make that conscious contact, you shift from a belief in God or a knowing about God to knowing God.

There's a difference— wait, hold on, let me, let me, let me, let me, let me stop this for a second. There's a difference between knowing about something and knowing it, right? There's a difference between knowing about something and knowing it. And I need you to— consciousness is about knowing it, not knowing about it, right? Being conscious, being awake is about knowing something, not knowing about it. Like, I could easily, you know, somebody who's never experienced a luxury car could say, oh yeah, I know about Rolls-Royce. I know about, you know, fill in the blank. But when you know it, it's because you've experienced it, right? You've experienced it in some way, shape, form, or fashion. So you don't just know about it, you actually know it. And that's the thing. I need y'all to get conscious. I need you to get conscious with your good, conscious with your God. Get conscious. You are now tapped in and tuned in. Take that back.

Facts say what up?

When you go to that place, when you do the meditation, and when you make what we call conscious contact with your higher self and with God, when you make that conscious contact, you shift from a belief in God or a knowing about God To knowing God. Knowing God is a very big difference between—

And knowing God. Knowing about God is a belief. Knowing God is conscious contact, right?

There's a— there's— yo, there's a difference. We got— all right, cool, you believe, but is, is there something past belief? And that's knowing.

It's direct inner knowing. And so you make this inner contact And you have a certainty about what it is that you want to manifest, and that, that desire that you have is consistent with all 9 of these principles, that it is based on unconditional love, and it's based on the power of attraction, and it's based on your higher awareness, and it's based on generosity and service and kindness. And then you are absolutely certain. And then you're able to detach because you're not really concerned about how it's going to show up. You see, your job in this whole business of manifesting, your job is not to say how.

Your job is not to say how.

Your job is to say yes.

Yes. Just say yes.

Just yes.

Just yes. That's it.

And then you let the how and the when take over. Now, when I say this, I know immediately what the ego part of us starts to think. I want it now, but I have to have it this way. But if I don't get it pretty soon, then I'm gonna go broke. And then if this doesn't show up over here, then I'm gonna have to go on welfare. And if I have to go on welfare, then— And your mind starts playing all of these games about how terrible things are going to be. If the person that you want to manifest doesn't show up the way you want them to show up, or if the child that you expect to have isn't showing up on time, or if the finances, or if the job, or whatever. And there's this, this push and this anxiety and this stress which is based on fear and based on distrust. But you know, when you have this knowing, as it says in the Course, when you have this certainty Great things have no fear of time.

Great things have no fear of time.

Universal intelligence doesn't operate in the parameters of time. Time is just our way of carving up the oneness. I was reading a story of Einstein as a young boy, and one of the things it said about young Einstein is that when he was a little boy, he picked up a compass And when he picked up this compass, he noticed that there was something that would move the needle, but he couldn't find anything in the compass that was moving the needle. And he was intrigued by what it was that would move the needle. And he would go and turn in a certain way. He'd make a 90-degree turn and the needle would turn and face whatever direction it was that he was facing. And yet he hadn't done anything. And he was intrigued by what this force was inside or outside, or what it was that allowed this— what, what would make this needle move? That force, that universal intelligence, that thing that is nameless, that thing that we can't identify in the physical world, is the provider Of all of the things that will manifest to you in the physical world, and it is also the source of your life. So that when you have an alignment with that force, what happens is you get very, very peaceful. And when you get peaceful, you stop insisting. You just know. You just know that it's going to show up, and you're not demanding. You're not looking under the leaves for it. You're not asking any— for any favors. In fact, you understand that this universal force cannot provide special favors.

Yep.

Because it is everywhere.

Everywhere.

And if it were just for you and not for someone else, that would immediately make it not a universal force. It would be now someplace that it isn't. There's no favoritism in this. There's just this positive, absolute, unconditionally loving, knowing force in the universe that holds everything together, that you come to honor, to respect, to know.

To know.

And you know, it's really like— it's like changing around your perspective in life. It's like walking a new path. I've always loved this. I've read it many, many times in my talks. It's a little story by a woman named Portia Nelson, and she was asked, as a group of people were asked in a seminar, to write down her autobiography. But they said, you only have one page and you have to write—

Cash is far, John.

Cash is—

5 short chapters. On one page, the autobiography of your life. That was the assignment. So Portia Nelson wrote her autobiography of her life in 5 short chapters, and this is what she said. Chapter 1. I walk down the street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I'm lost. I'm helpless. It isn't my fault it takes forever to find a way out. Chapter 2. I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I'm in the same place, but it isn't my fault it still takes a long time to get out. Chapter 3. I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it there. I still fall in. It's a habit. My eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately.

Chapter 4.

I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. Chapter 5. I walk down another street.

I walk down another street. Conscious. Consciousness.

And it's really the story of higher consciousness, and it's the story of manifesting, being able to manifest your heart's desire, to align yourself And your intentions with this divine organizing intelligence that is limitless, that is inexhaustible, that is ever-expanding, that is abundant, that is all-providing and all-knowing and everywhere at the same time, is like walking down another street. To align yourself with that and to know that that alignment in itself Is enough to bring whatever it is that has particularized, that is individualized, into the world that you would like to have show up in your life and align with the particularization of that divine intelligence that is you. That it's just bringing it all together. It's just a realignment, and it will cooperate with you. The thing that will keep it From working for you is any obstacle to that flow. As I talked about when I was speaking about unconditional love, the minute that you put hatred, anger, bitterness, tension, anxiety, stress in the way of that intelligence, between you and that intelligence, you block that flow. It is a flowing. That's why we use water as a symbol of it.

Right, so it's about a consciousness, right. So, like, when we talk about manifestation, a lot of times people are talking about manifestation as if it's about knowing how something's going to, you know, come about. But manifestation is not known about, you know, about how it's going to come about. It's just saying yes to that thing. Right? It's, it's, it's only about saying yes. When you are in alignment with a thing, um, you're not in a hurry for it, right? When you're, when you're in alignment with something, you're not in a hurry for it because you know it's coming, right? If, if, you know, you were traveling and you were— and there was only one train that could get you to your destination, you're not worried about what time the train comes, right? If you know it's gonna come, even if there's delays, even if whatever, like, you're not worried about when the train's gonna come because you know the train is coming. If it's the only train that can get you the destination. Right, and so it's about consciousness. It's about con. It's about being conscious. Butterfly thoughts top of the morning. Red live. Consciousness. Consciousness. That's what today's about. Today's about being conscious.

Now, if you look at the word conscious, yep, and conscience, when you are conscious, you have Conscience. The 2 Latin words, con meaning with and scio meaning to know. You are with knowledge when you're conscious. Conscious. When you are asleep, you're in a state of suspended consciousness. So even what you know, you are unable to act upon because you're asleep. You following me now? This brain is the wonder of the world. It is greater than the sun. It is like the sun. It is like the sun. It is fueled by the energy of light, electricity. This is why when they say your brain dead, there's no more electrical current in the brain. Electricity It's what allows you to vision. Therefore, you can't get television without battery or plug. You can't get telephone without electricity or battery.

That's right.

So communication comes from electrical energy. The higher the energy, the further you can communicate. The farther you can see, the deeper you can hear. God has eyes that see everything. How does he see everything? How does he hear all of our prayers? Well, beloved. Brothers and sisters, this brain is like the sun that controls 9 planets in the sphere of light and life. The brain controls 9 systems, and these systems are only balanced well when the brain is Well, well, well. Now I want you to follow me. I want you to just follow this. I'm almost finished with that. The light in the brain can kill disease in the body. You have your own healing station right within yourself, but you don't know how to activate your own power. The Bible says that man and woman, we—

I appreciate the bad love—

the glory of God.

We are the glory of God.

There's nothing in the creation greater than the human being.

There's nothing in creation greater than the human being.

In the creation is created in the image or the likeness of God but the human being. And the Quran calls the human being Khalifa. Khalifa. And Khalifa means One who stands in the place of another who has deceased. Oh, wait a minute.

Did I misunderstand the language? Because there's no death to God. Then why would God then need a Khalifa, a successor?

He made Adam his Khalifa, one that stands in the place of God. Now heck, if you've been a stand-in for somebody— I mean, if you're in show business and you on Broadway, they always have a stand-in for the star of the show called the understudy. In order to go on.

Yes.

So when the principal has a night off or the principal gets sick, the understudy rolls out.

Yes.

Now you don't expect the understudy who has studied under the one who is the star to be so much less than the star till the whole show fall apart.

Yes.

And you do not expect If the human being is the Khalifa, the successor of God himself, you don't expect us to be so much less than God that God in stupidity would make us in his image and likeness and then leave us to fail in his place. Yes, sir. Think about it. Think about it. And as you think about it, God is our potential.

God, look, hold on, let me start that way. Oh God, look, God is your potential. I'm gonna let that marinate for a second. God is your potential, not what you saw your brother do, your sister do, your mother do, your father do, your friend do, the, the influencer on social media. Like, just because what they did is— that's not your potential. What they did is not your God. Is your potential. God is my potential. If I'm trying to figure out the potential that I have in life, God, God. Is my potential. Yeah, I need y'all to type that. Type that in the chat. God is my potential. I need y'all to be conscious of that.

God is my potential. I need you to type that. I need you to type that in the chat. Look, even if you listening to the replay, I need you to type it in the comments. God is my potential. God is my potential. Not what, not what, not what anybody else is doing. God, right? And, and, and, and I'mma play this and y'all gonna hear, y'all gonna hear this next example. This is, uh, we, we were, we were playing Wayne Dyer first. This is the Honorable Louis Farrakhan. For those who are asking who's, who's the speaker, first person was Wayne Dyer. And so the Honorable Louis Farrakhan, he talks about a seed, right? He talks about a seed having potential. But if the seed— and catch this— if a seed is planted in the wrong soil and not given, right, and not given the proper sunlight and it's not watered, it's not going to grow. And so this is why it's important, it's important for you to be conscious That God is your potential. Because if you don't know that God is your potential, you're looking, you're looking at somebody else, you're looking somewhere else to grow. That's, that's the wrong place to grow. You got to be planted in the right, in the right soil, in the right space.

These have potential. They call it potential energy.

Potential energy.

Kinetic energy is the energy that is active. Okay, well, the seed has potential, but now you have to put it in the right environment.

Yes, sir.

Under the right circumstances.

Yes, sir.

Then in the right environment, in the right circumstances, with water, sunlight, and earth, the seed, quote unquote, Germinates, and what is within is free to come out, to develop, to grow to its fullest, to manifest the glory of God. If you do not see the seed of a rose bush, stop. In the ground. Once God pleases, water falls on it, the sun shines on it, it keeps on growing until it manifests buds and then reproduces.

You shall know, you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

Well, who are you, black man, brown man, red man, yellow man, or white man? Who are you? Are you nothing more than a son of Uncultivated seed that has potential that is never actualized so that you can glorify the Creator who created you. God don't make mazes. This is awesome.

All right, and so, and so it's important, right? It's important that you are— you understand, right? It's, it's important that you understand that God is your potential. It's important that, that you understand, um, that in order to take your life to the, to the, to the next, to the next level, right, to where you want it, want it to be, you have to, right? First. Put God first in everything you do. Everything that you think you see in me, everything that I've accomplished, everything that you think I have— and I have a few things— everything that I have is by the grace of God. Understand that it's a gift. 40 years ago, I was flunking out of college. I had a 1.7 Grade point average. I was sitting in my mother's beauty parlor and I'm looking in the mirror and I see behind me this woman under the dryer. Every time I looked up, she was looking at me, just looking me in the eye. I didn't know who she was. And I said, you know, she said, somebody give me a pen, give me a pencil, I have a prophecy. March 27th, 1975. She said, boy, you are gonna travel the world and speak to millions of people. Now mind you, I was flunked out of college. I'm thinking about joining the Army. I didn't know what I was going to do, and she's telling me I'm going to travel the world and speak to millions of people. Well, I have traveled the world and I have spoke to millions of people, but that's not the most important thing— the success that I had. The most important thing is that what she taught me and what she told me that day has stayed with me since. I've been protected, I've been directed, I've been corrected. I've kept God in my life and it's kept me humble. I didn't always stick with him, but he always stuck with me. So stick with him in everything you do.

Everything you do.

If you think you want to do what you think I've done, then do what I've done and stick with God.

Time after time, if you fall, I will catch you. I'll be waiting time after time. If you're lost, you can look and you will find me time after time. If you fall, I will catch you. I'll be waiting time after time.

Fail big.

That's right.

Fail big. Today is the beginning of the rest of your life, and it can be— it can be very frightening. It's a new world out there. It's a mean world out there, and you only live once. So do what you feel passionate about. Take chances. Don't be afraid to fail. There's an old IQ test, was 9 dots, and you had to draw 5 lines with a pencil within these 9 Without lifting the pencil. The only way to do it was to go outside the box. So don't be afraid to go outside the box. Don't be afraid to think outside the box. Don't be afraid to fail big, to dream big. But remember, dreams without goals are just dreams, and they ultimately fuel Disappointment. So have dreams, but have goals. Life goals, yearly goals, monthly goals, daily goals. And understand that to achieve these goals, you must apply discipline and consistency every day. Not just on Tuesday and just a few days. You have to work at it every day. You have to plan every day. You've heard the saying, we don't Plan to fail, we fail to plan. Hard work works, works.

Hard work works.

Working really hard is what successful people do. Remember, just because you're doing a lot more doesn't mean you're getting a lot more done. Don't confuse movement with progress, right?

So continue to strive.

Continue to progress. Number three, you'll never see a U-Haul behind a hearse. I don't care how much money you make; you can't take it with you. And it's not how much you have; it's what you do.

The most selfish thing you can do in this world is help someone else. Why is it selfish? Because. The gratification, the goodness that comes to you, the good feeling, the good feeling that I get from helping others. Nothing's better than that. Not jewelry, not the big house I have, not the cars, but the— it's the joy. That's where the joy is, in helping others. That's where the success is. Finally, I pray that you put your slippers way under the bed tonight. So that when you wake up in the morning, you have to get on your knees to reach them. And while you're down there, say thank you for grace, thank you for mercy, thank you for understanding, thank you for wisdom, thank you for parents, thank you for love, thank you for kindness, thank you for humility, thank you Thank you for peace. Thank you for prosperity. Say thank you in advance for what's already yours. That's how I live my life. That's where I— why I am— one of the reasons why I am today. Say thank you in advance for what is already yours. True desire in the heart for anything good is God's proof to you Sent beforehand to indicate that it's yours already. I'll say it again. True desire—

True desire.

Itch that you have, whatever it is you want to do, that thing that you want to do to help others and to grow and to make money, that desire, that itch, that's God's proof to you, sent beforehand already to indicate that it's yours.

It's yours already.

Anything you want Good, good. You can have, so claim it. Work hard to get it.
