You OWE it to YOU! - The Ash Cash Show 8.26.22

In this livestream of The Ash Cash Show, host Ash Exantus delivers a high‑energy motivational sermon that blends financial empowerment, personal testimony, and faith‑based philosophy. He opens by promoting the show’s multi‑platform presence and quickly pivots to the central message: each listener "owes" themselves intentional peace, blessings, and purpose. Throughout the episode Ash and contributors discuss the nature of perceived negativity, framing challenges as divine blessings that shape character. He uses a package‑delivery metaphor to illustrate that individuals are entrusted with a unique gift that must be shared, not hoarded. Ash recounts his own rise from a public‑housing childhood, single‑parent upbringing, and near‑fatal football injury to become a bank VP, CEO, author, and entrepreneur, emphasizing that perseverance, self‑discipline, and reliance on God’s will enabled his success. Repeated themes include taking personal responsibility, rejecting victimhood, committing to the process over the product, maintaining a personal standard of excellence (the "Empty the Bucket" principle), and aligning actions with a higher purpose. The show concludes with gratitude to the audience, a reminder of upcoming raffles, and a call to live purposefully while trusting God’s plan.

We just getting started. Um, it's a blessing to, to be a blessing. Um, all right, um, today is about owing you, you know. Um, I ain't gonna stay too long, you know what I'm saying? Mac Don, what up, my G? Happy Friday. Um, I ain't gonna stay too long, um, but the, but the message I got today is, is about you owing you, you know. A lot of times, um, you know We look at our lives, you know what I'm saying? We look at our lives and our lives should always be of service. Always, right? Being of service is how you're gonna get to the next level, right? And when I say next level, I believe that there's, there's, there's, you know, there's only Um, your life should be like— you should be searching for peace and blessings. That's why, that's, that's why I always greet everybody peace and blessings. That's it. Because I, I want, I want for you, I want for you what I want for myself. And when I wake up, I want peace, you know what I'm saying? I want to live in peace, right? A lot, a lot, a lot of people wait till they die to, to, to, to say rest in peace.
I like—
I'm cool. I mean, I mean that too, but I want to live in peace, right? I want to live in peace. Um, and so, and so that— so those are the two things, right? Um, my peace and my blessings, right? Every single day, every single day, you know, I'm not even gonna say I want to, but I, I enjoy— I intentionally enjoy peace and blessing. Um, and if you are not being intentional about your peace, right, if you're not being intentional about your peace, if you're not being intentional about, um, your blessings, um, you know then you're not gonna have a level of, uh, abundance or joy or happiness, right? You got to be intentional about it. Um, let me see. Uh, I saw KG Keep Going says, is it about both negativity and peace? You can't avoid it. Um, if, if I, if I'm understanding your question correctly Um, there really isn't ever negativity though, right? Um, like, like, and I'm not saying this from a high place. Um, oh, I get it. If you don't have enough negativity, then you don't know what positivity is. Uh, so, so, so what I, what I would say, what I would say in that, in that particular case though Is is not like I don't believe in negative or positive. I use the words just to relate to people, right? I use those words as a as a way to relate to people, but I really I truly don't believe in negative or positive. Um, Nova Nova November, somebody I appreciate the badge love. Um, I don't believe in negative or positive. Because I believe that everything, um, is working for my greater good, right? So I'll give you an example. I'll give you an example. Um, I had a situation in which, um, things that, um, you know, things that I didn't know was happening was happening behind my back and had the potential to ruin a lot of things.
right?
A lot of things that I was working on, a lot of things that I worked hard for, it had the potential. And anybody would look at that as a negative, like, my God, like, why is this happening? And they would be like, yo, this, this is negativity.
Why?
Like, why am I attracting all this energy, blah blah. And the truth of the matter though is that, um, you only get and you only feel, right? You get and you feel what you put your attention to and how you view things. And so, while I was upset and for a moment and I'm like, why is this happening?
Why?
What do I need to change in me? This is the question I asked myself, right. I said, damn, what do I need to change in me in order to stop attracting this type of energy? But then I realized, then I realized that had these situations, if these situations didn't happen and if it didn't reveal itself, um, it, it, it wouldn't allow me to— now I got— now I'm, I'm, I'm smarter, right?
Right.
I'm smarter. I'm smarter because of these things happening. Um, I know how to move forward because these things are happening. I know how to protect myself because these things ain't— were happening. And the things that happened, um, could have potentially been a 6-figure mistake, no more than that, right? It could affect me, you know, it could, it, it could affect, you know, it wasn't the, you know, the biggest thing, right? So it, it was, um, you know a, you know, 6-figure mistake, let's just say, right? But in the same time, you know, I've— I have other things that are 7-figure things that, right, that, that's happening. So while in hindsight when I look at all— when I look at it, I'm like, man, it was negative, it was negative, negative, but it wasn't actually negative, right? It was actually a positive thing because it helped— it helped propel me and go to the next level. So, a lot of times we look at things that are undesirable as undesirable because we don't understand it, right. We don't understand it and because we don't understand it, that's why we look at it as undesirable and we call it negative. When the truth of the matter is that your peace is going to come from allowing situations to play out.
Right.
You have, you have to allow them to play out. You have to be in a space where, um, no situation could shake you because you understand and you know that everything is, is for your greater good. So when something that seems negative happens, it's not because it's, it's come to hurt you, right? It didn't come to hurt you. Um, it actually came to, to, to, um, to bless you. And if you, if you realize that it came to bless you, then why would you be upset? Why would I be angry? Why would you be angry with, um, with, with things that are— that came to bless you, right? And so the, the truth now becomes, instead of um, putting bad energy and feeling negative energy about something that is here to help you, whether you realize it or not. Anytime that something is happening that seems negative, just know that it, it actually here to bless you. And if you always tell yourself that everything— so I always tell myself everything is in God's will. Right, and so, and so if if if this is happening, it's because God willed it. Right? God willed it, and that keeps me sane. That keeps me honest. That keeps me less emotional. I'm not emotional when things happen. I mean, you know, sometimes, you know, in the beginning of things, I might be like upset, but then eventually, you know, I look at it and I say, you know what? That's God's will. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, God, you know, like, like, you know, nothing is, is meant to hurt you. Kirby Queenie, thank you for the badge love. Um, nothing is meant to hurt you, you know what I'm saying? Um, you know, nothing is ever meant to hurt you, and so you gotta understand that everything, right, everything that's happening is God's plan, right? Everything that's happening is God's plan. Uh, Mac Don, appreciate the badge love. Um, everything that's happening is God's plan. Matter of fact, let's go.
Sometimes you need to get knocked down. Sometimes you need to get knocked down, figure out what your, what your fight is.
Uh-oh.
And how you need to fight it.
Uh-oh.
Sometimes you need to feel the pain and sting of defeat to activate the real passion and purpose that God predestined inside of you.
Facts.
God says to Jeremiah, I know the plans I have for you.
I know the plan that I have for you.
Plans to prosper you.
Prosper.
And not to harm you.
And not to harm you.
Plans to give you hope and a future.
Yep.
Hear me well on this day, this day when you have reached the hilltop and you are deciding on, on next jobs, next steps, careers, further education. You would rather find purpose than a job or career. Purpose crosses disciplines. Purpose is an essential element of you. It is the reason you are on the planet at this particular time in history. Yeah, your very existence is wrapped up in the things you are here to fulfill. Whatever you choose for a career path, remember the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose. When God has something for you, it doesn't matter who stands against it.
Yep, it doesn't matter.
For you, God will move someone that's holding you back away from a door.
Facts.
And put someone there who will open it for you. I don't know what your future is, but if you're willing to take the harder way, the more complicated one, the one with more failures at first than successes, the one that has ultimately proven to have more meaning, more victory, more glory, then you will not regret it. Press on with pride and press on with purpose and appreciate what God has brought you through.
You are now listening to mindrightradio.com, the only place to get inspiration and motivation all day, every day.
Talk to God often.
Talk to God, y'all.
You're not perfect.
Yep.
Just talk to him every day.
Every day.
You don't have to be in the same faith I'm in.
Nope.
You ain't got to call God the same thing I call him.
Nope.
But listen to me, you do have to call him though.
Gotta call him though.
It's not gonna make your life easy. Faith don't make it easy. Faith makes it possible. All you want is the strength to get through your life. On the days That I feel like I'm not gonna make it, on the days that it feels like I can't endure anymore, I think back on my track record for surviving all my bad days. And so far, surviving all my bad days, my track record is 100%.
100%, y'all.
It ain't about the money. I know a lot of very, very rich people that's miserable. Not happy at all. I can bet you most of you are happier than most of the people I know, and I know some very, very wealthy people. And money don't make you happy. It helps you through a lot of situations. You know, the only thing about money— money takes all emergencies and turns them into mere inconveniences. That's what money does. Money gonna change your life a little bit, folks. All of you gonna get more. But you gotta ask for it. But if that's your desire to get more of it, you gotta ask God for it. If you wanna be happy or successful, you gotta ask God for it. Most people don't have the life of their dreams because you don't ask God for it.
You're not asking.
You have not because you ask not. If you up your ask, he will up his give. If you change what you ask God for, he immediately changes what he gives to you.
You don't need an education to be successful.
I know I flunked out of school. What God has for you, quit tying it in education.
People kill me.
I know people got 2 degrees, finna go back to school, get another one. If you got 2 of them that ain't working for you, why would you go get another one of them?
I know people that mastered a PhD though, ain't even working.
You don't need that. I'm telling you, man, your whole success is tied in your relationship to God. You can simplify this by getting in touch with your creator. That's your key, man. Everything you're going through is preparing you for what you asked God for. You just gotta quit tripping—
What up, IG?
—in the process, because the process is necessary.
The process is necessary, y'all.
But when he gets you on the other side of it, you're gonna see exactly why it went that way. And you gonna be okay with it. But quit tripping during the process.
Stop tripping during the process.
Why me? You ain't the only one. Oh Lord, why me? You ain't the only one.
Oh Lord, why I lose my job?
You ain't the only one unemployed. Pull yourself together and quit tripping because you in the process. God is processing you.
He ain't through with you.
If he was through with you, you would not wake up in the morning.
Facts.
He gonna fix it. Everything is wrong. First of all, let me tell you this right here. Why are you tripping? Everything that's happening to you is God is processing. Every difficult moment you're having, he just processing. That's all he doing. Everything you're going through is preparing you for what you asked God for. And if you need to be tough when you get to where you going, then he gonna toughen you. If you got to be more caring along the way, he gonna let you have some trials come your way that's gonna have to produce that in you. See, the route you on right now is the route you got to take, and it's very uniquely yours. This thing you going through, this just uniquely yours.
Just uniquely yours.
You ain't the only one going through it. Now, in the order that it's gonna happen, that's yours. You have not because you ask not. It simply say you have not because you ask not. But you don't ask because you ain't got that together. When you ask God for something, quit tripping.
Quit tripping.
He got it from here. God can't give you what you want because you want to hold on to what you got. You all in the way. Now you telling him how to bless you. You can't tell God how to bless you. It's a simple process. The only reason I'm telling you this, because this is how I made it. I just do me. I'm just being me. I stay uniquely who I am. Because you are okay just the way you are. Because you— God made you uniquely who you are. He wanted you to be just like you are. See, God made us very different. This is a— this God we got God is amazing. He created you so individual. Do you know that it's close to 8 billion people on Earth now? Do you know that it's almost 8 billion people on the Earth? Do you know how many billions of people have died? Do you know that if you dig up all them people that have died And all the people that are presently here, and every last one of them that he gonna make in the future, not one of you have the same fingerprint.
Not one. Who do that? Who do that?
Who could possibly be so precise in his infinite wisdom that he created you so uniquely that ain't no two people got the same fingerprint? That's crazy. That's real crazy.
Sometimes you need to get knocked down before you can really figure out what your, what your fight is and how you need to fight it. Sometimes you need to feel the pain and sting of defeat to activate the real passion and purpose that God predestined inside of you. God says to Jeremiah, I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
And not to harm you, yo. Oh, sorry. Oh, what did I do? Sorry.
Plans to give you hope and a future. Hear me well on this day.
Hear me well on this day.
This day when you have reached the hilltop. And you are deciding on, on next jobs, next steps, careers, further education.
Yeah, man, YouTube, what up?
You would rather find purpose than a job or career. Purpose crosses disciplines. Purpose is an essential element of you. It is the reason you are on the planet at this particular time in history. Your very existence is wrapped up in the things you are here to Whatever you choose for a career path, remember the struggles along the way.
Struggles along the way to shape you. Shape you.
Yep.
When God has something for you, it doesn't matter who stands against it. Doesn't matter who stands against it.
If it's meant for you, yep.
God will move someone that's holding you back away from the door.
Away from the door.
And put someone there who will open it for you. I don't know what your future is, but if you're willing to take the harder way, the more complicated—
The more complicated way.
More failures at first than successes, the one that has ultimately proven to have more meaning, more victory, more glory, then you will not regret it.
Press on, press on, right?
And press on with purpose. Yep. And appreciate what God has brought you through. Mind Right Radio, your number one source for mind elevation.
All right, y'all. Um, so, so I wanted to start here because, um, You know, and actually was a detour because I was, you know, I was answering a question, but it was perfect because at the end of the day, right, we have to understand that there is no negative or positive. It's all about perspective. You know, it's funny because I always look back at times and I, you know, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I always look back at times where it feels like someone was trying to intentionally hurt me, you know, or stop something or sabotage or whatever. And in every single piece of those times, I always came out on top, you know. Um, and really because my intentions, you know what I'm saying. And, you know, um When yeah, I posted something earlier. You know, I posted something earlier about being an Amazon, you know, you know, deliverer, right? Like you, like you're, you're, you're part of a tribe that God has called to bless others. You know, and you know, I, you know, I'm at a space where. You know, because because I'm part of this tribe, you know, because I'm part of this tribe, because I am God has trusted me, and he trusts God has trusted everybody. Not everybody listens though. God has trusted everybody with a package. You know, Deep Rags, what up? My guy M three in the building. Um, God God has trusted everybody with a package. He's giving you. A specific story. Um, God has given you a specific assignment, uh, and, and has trusted you, um, to deliver that package to somebody. And a lot of us are holding on to this package as if it is our package. You know, we're holding on to it. Um, you know, we don't, we don't like the way the package Um, it's so crazy. Think about this though, y'all. Um, God has given you a package, and God said, you know what, I need you to deliver this package to somebody. I need you to share your story. Um, I need you to share your experience. Um, I, God, helped you get out of this situation, right? You know, I, God, helped you get out of this situation, not for you though, right? Appreciate the badge love. I helped you get out of this situation, not for you. I've helped you get out the situation because I knew, right? I see it all. I knew that other people were going to be going through this based on the free will that I've given them, right? How, how dope is God? God gives you free will to make choices, and God knows, right? God knows that even in you making some choices, you're going to stumble. So what does God do? What does God do? God says, all right, I'm gonna put somebody in a situation similar to what I know you're gonna— you're about to do and mess up on. I'm gonna put somebody in it, like, like, I'm gonna put you through a situation. But I'm going to make sure that you come out on top. And why I'm going to do that is because I want to protect my other son, my other daughter, this other person who is going to have free will, make a choice, and stumble. And I need to use you. That's what God said. God said, yo, I need to use you as an example, right? I need to use you as an example, and I need you to be greatness on display.
Right? I'm gonna—
you— so, so I'm gonna get you out of whatever situation is to prove that God is the greatest. Because, because, because, because what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put you in a situation that there's no doubt that God is the reason why you got out that situation. So for anybody who could potentially doubt and be like, well, maybe I did—
nope.
I'mma put you in, in so many situations that you could not plan yourself that's gonna prove that God is the greatest. And all I need you to do— this is what God's saying— all I need you to do is be greatness on display. I need you to, I need you to display this greatness out to the world, not in your neighborhood, not in your head, right? I need you to display this greatness out to the world To help my sons and daughters who I know are going to make the same mistake because I gave them free will, but I'm also going to, to pat— to pad their fall or how they deal with it because, because I created you in my likeness and your brothers. But I need you to help me display how great God is. So that— so that's your assignment. And because that's your assignment, you are technically the Amazon deliverer. The package that you have inside, the gift that you have inside, it was, was not meant for you, right? Imagine an Amazon driver going to the warehouse, right? Imagine an Amazon driver going to the warehouse Pick up the package, and they hold they hold on to the package. They drive all day with the package. They don't like the way they don't like the color. They say, "You know what? I don't like brown boxes." I I don't like brown boxes. So so so I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna drive around. So I'm gonna go to Walmart, right? I'm gonna go I'm gonna go to Walmart, and I'm gonna find some. Some white paint so I could paint the box white because I don't like, I don't like brown. I don't like brown boxes. So now, because you don't like, because you don't like the package that it's coming in, you're delaying, right? Somebody ordered it though. Somebody's waiting. Somebody prayed for you. Somebody's waiting for you. Somebody asked God for you. You don't like the way the package look, so you're delaying, right? You're delaying the package because you don't like brown. Now you like, you know what?
Nah, nah, nah, nah.
Let me, let me, let me go get a different box. Let me get a white box instead. Let me get a, let me get a black box. Oh, you know what? This package looks so dope in a black, in a, in a black box. So, so I'm, I'm gonna go to Walmart. I'm gonna go to Walmart and I'm gonna, and I'm gonna buy a black box. But then you get to Walmart and and they don't have no more black boxes. So now you order the black box. Now you now now you waiting for the black black box. But all in all, guess what the guess what the person the person is now freaking out. The person who ordered this this this package is now freaking out because they prayed they prayed they prayed to God. Rose appreciate the bad stuff. They prayed to God for you. They prayed for you. They say, God, please, I need you. Please send me somebody. Send me something, right?
And they waiting.
And now you're holding up the package because you don't like the way the the box look. But guess guess what's gonna happen though? The person you deliver the package to don't even care about the box. They don't care about the box. They gonna rip the box up anyway. The box is gonna go out on Thursday with the trash. I cover Atlanta homes. Appreciate the badge love. The package is gonna— like, they're gonna throw it out. So you are worried about the wrong things. You are worried about the wrong things. Rarity Vlogs, thank you for the badge love. You are worried about the wrong things. You worried about a package that they don't need. They can't— they want what's inside. They want the gift. They want the gift. They they don't want the they don't they don't want the the brown. They don't care if the if the box is brown. They don't look I chose violence. They don't care if the if the if the box is brown, black, white. What they go they throwing it out on Thursday. They want what's inside and you're holding it up because nah it's not like you have to you have to. Right? You have to give the gift away. Gift— give the gift away. It, it's your job. It's your job though. It is your job. I am D. Junie. Thank you for the bad luck. It is your job. Like, your job is to deliver people's packages. Like, I gotta look. Look, I get paid to speak. My voice is hoarse. I went to sleep late. You think I want to be up here eight in the morning talking to y'all? No, I'm playing, right? But you, but but but but but I like God gave me an assignment. God said, "Yo, you got a package. I need you to deliver this package, bro." Who who am I? Who am I? Like, it's not. I don't have the right. Right? I don't have the right to hold up the hold up the package. Right? I don't have the right to hold up the package. You think you think you think God allowed me.
Right.
You think God allowed me to come from where I come from, right? Like, I'm lit— like, like, I literally grew up with roaches and rats. Like, for real. Like, not no joke, right? I literally, literally single-parent home. My mom raised 3 of us. No dad in the household. I lived on the first floor. I lived on the first floor, right in back of the incinerator. So so all the garbage. So my so my let me tell y'all. Let me just give y'all paint y'all a picture, right? My my and it's all it's all available for the block to the bank. Get that? My projects, right? My housing development is fifteen acres. I looked it up. Right? My projects, right? My my housing development is fifteen acres, right? So fifteen acres, fourteen buildings, right? Fourteen buildings all go to the fourteenth floor. One two A B C D E F G H eight, right? So eight eight apartments. Watch this. Eight apartments. I'm gonna do the math for y'all. 15 videos— I mean, 15, 15, or, or 15 acres, right? 14 buildings, right? And each building had 14 floors, right? And so 14, and each floor had 8 apartments. So 14 times 8 is 112, right? So there's 112— each building had 112 households. So if I times that by 14, and some might have more, but you know what I mean, if I times that by 14, that is 1,568 households. So one 15 acres, right, 15 acres house 1,568 families. And each of, each of those buildings, each of those families were responsible for throwing out their garbage in the, you know, in the, in the garbage incinerator. Most people use the incinerator. Some people put all the garbage up, up, you know, on their floor. But every single day, every day though, every single day, the people who worked in housing would grab those bags, right, and put them on a truck. Take all that garbage and grab all from all 1,568 Housings, houses. They would take those bags, right? They would put them all together, take those bags, and throw them on a truck. And guess where? Guess where all that garbage went? Right? All that garbage went to the back of my building.
I just I just want to paint the.
I want I want to paint the picture vividly so y'all so y'all don't think because I know people be like oh yeah I had roaches and rats but I. But I want to paint it vividly for you. I need you to understand this. I need you to do the math in your head. You got 1,568 residents, right? And all of their garbage, right? All of their garbage went to the back of my building because that's where it stayed because sanitation only came once a week. So while housing is picking it up every single day, every single day, sanitation only came once a week. So for six, for six days out the week, all of that trash is at the back of my building. So guess what happens? I'm talking about rats though. I'm not talking about mice because I was on the first floor. In fact, my window, if y'all saw the video, my window was the only one back there, right? And so because I lived on the first floor, right, them rats was in the house. First Lady could even tell you because when I met her, we met, I was living in that apartment, right? Let me tell you, I used to literally, whenever I would bring in anybody to my house, I would literally turn Hot 97 on so that you couldn't hear the rats rumbling through through stuff, right? And so so here's why I'm saying that to you. So that's where that's how I grew up. That's my childhood. That's my childhood, right? Um, let alone single parent home. Let alone um it was it was it was the wild nineties if you if you know what that means. Uh, gangs running rapid. We doing stupid stuff, right? Kicked— I was kicked out of school 4 times. I was kicked out of school in the 1st grade, uh, in the 5th grade, in the 9th grade, got expelled in the 10th grade. So I had to do 10th grade over again. All right, so how, how, right? I played, you know, I never, never sold no drugs, uh, never sold no drugs. I held the stash a couple of times though, you know what I'm saying? I held the stash a couple of times. Um, I play with guns, you know what I'm saying? I play with guns illegal. That, that, that in New York is a mandatory 5-year minimum, right? Mandatory 5-year minimum in New York. Um, and so how the hell— how, how, right? I spent summers I spent time going to Rikers Island visiting friends and all that, right? So how is it possible? How is it possible that somebody with this— like, and I was outside, right? Fast shout out to my OGs in the building so they know. Fast shout out to Mac Don. Fast shout out to my guy D Brax. They know, right? How is it possible that a guy that went through that A guy that went through that somehow, right? Somehow goes on to have a flourishing banking career. How did how how how is it that I became a VP, a vice president? They said I was going to be dead or in jail by the age of 25. But how is it that a that a that a guy like me? was a vice president of one of the largest financial institutions in the world at 24 years old? How is it I became a homeowner at 25? How is it that at 31, right? How is it— What up, Tony? Tony Jefferson is in the building. How is it, right? Grace of God, right? How is it that You know, at 31, I become a CEO of— one of the youngest CEOs of a financial— of a federally accredited federal bank. How is it that I then become an entrepreneur, right? Build a multi-million dollar business, write 12 books, sell over hundreds of thousands of books, and have an impact Of millions, not not not thousands. I've impacted millions of people worldwide. How? Because God is the greatest, right? Because God is the greatest. Because God said, right? God said, "I'm you're gonna go through all these things," right? You're gonna go through all these things, but it's not for you. I'm not I'm not sitting here bragging. I'm telling you, this this story was about you. You might have heard a lot of eyes, but this story has nothing to do with me. This story has everything to do with you because it you have a story and you're holding on to your story. You got a gift. This is my gift. God gave God gave me this gift. Imagine if I if I kept this gift inside. Imagine if I if I kept this gift inside. Imagine if if I if I didn't share my testimony. Imagine if if if I just if I just stood in the house, worked my corporate job. No disrespect to nobody who works a corporate job, but imagine if I sat and worked my corporate job and just was like, yes, thank you God for getting me out. That ain't the reason. That ain't the reason. That ain't the reason, y'all. That ain't the reason, y'all.
Exclusive. Exclusive. You can't make me want what I don't want.
Yo, you owe you, y'all. You owe yourself. I don't want that. You owe yourself.
Anything. You don't know what you want. And so if I can do one thing for you when you leave this room, I don't want nothing from you but for you to leave this room and know what you want. What do you want in your marriage? What do you want with your son and your daughter? What do you want in your health? What do you want financially? Like, how much money do you want to make a year? What do you want to drive? How do you want to live? Stop just waking up like an accident.
Stop waking up like an accident, y'all.
Find out what you want. Spend the rest of your natural life waking up and going after it.
Go after it, y'all.
Why do you speak with so much passion, E.T.? Why do you speak with so, so much authority? Because I'm talking about my life.
I'm talking about my life.
I ate out of trash cans.
Yep. I had no business eating out of trash cans.
I lived in abandoned buildings. I had no business living in abandoned buildings. E.T., your daddy wasn't in your life. Your mom was a teenage mother. You grew up— come on, look at your shirt. That's not an excuse. There is no excuse for not living up to your fullest potential. No excuse. I told you, I didn't get a new daddy. I didn't get a new mama.
What changed?
I stopped being a victim. I stopped saying I've got to wait for good things to happen to me, and I said I'm gonna grind. I'm going to fight. I'm going to I'm going to work. I'm going to press toward. I'm going to learn. I'm going to do everything in my power every single day. I'm going to do everything in my power to become a victor every day.
Let me say this, Tony, thank you for the fast love.
And I can't explain it, but you better feel me. Winners win and losers lose.
Winners win.
I can't explain it any better than that. I don't know how it happened, but winners win. And if you create a culture of losing, if you keep being a victim, if you keep letting losing happen to you, if you keep letting people do you and treat you any kind of way, it's gonna become a culture. I can't explain it to you, but you better stop making excuses and find a way to win. Because once you start winning, you go from $1,500 to $3,000 to $5,000 to $7,000. You remember, see, from 7 to 10, nothing changed. We still in the basement. We don't have a building. We still use the garage for all of our products. We don't have business cards. We don't have a 5-year plan. We don't have a 3-year plan. How do you do it? Easy. Wake up and grind. Winners win. I focus more on winning than I focus on structure. I focus on winning. And when you become a winner, they start seeing you with winners. You get from being a loser low self-esteem, doubt, and fear.
You can find your way on this side.
It's sweeter on this side. Sweeter on this side. You know what's so funny? We want people to make guarantees to us, but we're not willing to make guarantees to ourselves. I'm gonna say it again. Like you, somebody gave you a guarantee, $30, 30-day guarantee. In 30 days, if you don't make what they told you was gonna In 30 days, you got an attitude, you want your money back. But you've never demanded your money back from yourself. You've never looked at yourself in the mirror and said, you let you down. Until you get to that point, you let you down. You've never— you're not brave enough. You want to put it on somebody else. The reason why I'm not successful is because of my boss. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and said, I'm not getting up on time, I'm not going to work on time, I'm not I'm putting in 120% when I'm at work. I let me down. And when you get to the point where you can say you let you down, I don't— can't listen to me. No disrespect, I don't care about Glenn. That's not why I do what I do. And I love Glenn. I don't come here and do what I do so Glenn can affirm me, so he can give me a pat on my back. I care more about me than I care about what Glenn thinks about me. I have standards. I have value. I don't care how much you pay me. If I speak at an elementary school for $300, I chose to do that for $300. If I chose to speak out of prison for free, I chose to do that. And I will not go in there and give those prisoners less than what somebody pays me $100,000. Why? Because I value myself enough to give 120%. Well, don't do it. That's the problem with some of you. You always want to blame other people. You always want to— you want to hold other people to the fire, but you're not holding yourself to the fire. You just say you giving 50%. You owe you an explanation. You owe you an explanation. You need to look at yourself in the mirror and say, why are you only giving 50%? What's wrong with you? You need to put yourself on punishment. You need to tell you, no more TV, no more snacks, no more desserts, no more— no, we working out now. No, no more alcohol. Not right now. Not— no, I can't handle it right now. You need to tell you that you owe you something.
You owe yourself.
You keep going to the mall with the receipt. This is what y'all said it was. Glenn, you didn't do what you said you was gonna do. Well, you didn't do what you were supposed to do, so how am I gonna do what I'm supposed to do for you?
You walk out of this room, you owe yourself.
I didn't get here making—
Yo, we ain't—
yo, look, we ain't get here making excuses. You can't make me want what I don't want.
You don't, you don't get, you don't get where you're supposed to be by making excuses. You don't, you don't get to where you're supposed to be by making excuses. That's why I love, I love when something, when somebody give me an excuse. What, what, what is— you can't give me no excuse. My my my story, my story. Like like what what what have you been through that I haven't been through? And that's just a that is a portion of the story, right? And so you always have a choice. You always have a choice. You have a choice, right? You have a choice to. to lie to yourself. You have a choice to lie to yourself and tell yourself because of where you come from, your background, what you've been through, that it's too late. You could lie. Go ahead, lie to yourself. You could lie to yourself. Or, or you could believe in the promise. You could believe in the truth, right? You could, you could believe in the promise. You could believe in the truth. And that truth is that you're made in the image and likeness of God. So it don't matter as long as you have breath in your body that you good. You could believe in the truth, and the truth is you are unstoppable. That's the truth. The truth is that ain't no person, place, or thing that can stop what God has promised you. You are now tapped in and tuned in.
Mindrightradio.com.
We gonna ride out to this one. We gonna ride out to this one. Mindright Radio. We gonna ride out.
That's what they been waiting on.
That's what y'all been waiting on. I know, I know it. You probably don't even know it. When it's your time, give them something to watch.
But why would I stop?
I am unstoppable. Wait, hey yo, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. You a gift. Look, critical. I had to put my watch on. Critical. Ain't no time left on the clock. When is your time? Give them something to watch. When is your time? Give them something to watch.
You are now tapped in.
One more time. One more time. Tapped in and tuned in. One more time. Another level for the people in the back. Radio. The people in the back.
That's what they've been waiting on. That's what you've been waiting on. Critical. Ain't no time left on the clock.
Something to watch. I know I'm a gift.
Why would I stop?
I am unstoppable. Hold up, why would I stop?
Yup. Why would I stop? Chill, chill, chill.
I don't jump, I dive in it.
Hold up, hold up, hold up. It's the reason I'm alive. Never take life for granted because sometimes life doesn't send a warning shot. And if you're not who you're supposed to be, adversity is not gonna say, man, I'm gonna let you gather yourself and I'm gonna come back. Opposition is not gonna say, man, I'm gonna let you get your stuff together and I'm gonna be back. Like, I didn't know my life was gonna change on September the 9th. I was playing football, I was doing the thing that I love. I was 8 games away from the NFL, projected top 30 draft pick. I went out and made a tackle and found myself in the emergency room that night fighting for my life. But my mother had nothing to worry about. They asked my mother, are you worried about your son? She said, I'm not worried about him at all because I know he's a survivor. What is that? And that leads me into why I keep this bucket with me. You know, a lot of people know I live by this thing called Empty the Bucket, right? And people like Empty the Bucket ain't got this cute slogan, Empty the Bucket, but they don't know what the foundation or what it really is. They don't know the accountability behind it. They don't know the responsibility behind it. Every day at my house, I I got 3 buckets. I got a bucket when I wake up and I look in my bedroom, it's a bucket. I got a bucket in my office, I got a bucket in my weight room at my house. And what that bucket stands for, for me, that bucket means I have to give everything I got to everything I'm involved in. And it has nothing to do with the product, but more about my personal standard of excellence never changes.
Never changes.
And it doesn't depend on the circumstances, it doesn't depend on the situation, and it never depends on a person. I have a personal standard of excellence for my life. I just believe I deserve to give my wife the best version of me. I just believe I deserve to give my kids the best version of me. I just believe the people that I'm of service to on this earth, I deserve to give them the best version of me. And so I take a personal level of pride in everything that I do because I almost lost my life behind the game of football, and God placed me on this path. And so now it's not even about me.
It's not about me. God put you on this path.
You do— if the outcome wasn't attached to what you would do.
Uh-oh.
That's why I don't even get caught up with people that do things for money. I'm not impressed with how much money you make. You know the true level of wealth? You know the true measure of wealth? Is if they took all your money, what would you be worth then? I'm gonna say it again so you can catch it. Just everybody that's chasing that greenback, everybody that want that dollar, if you got it, and they stripped you of it all, what would you still be worth? What would you be worth? And if you don't have the things that the process creates, you won't keep it anyway. I wasn't quitting, I wasn't giving up, I wasn't stopping. That's not my pedigree, that's not who I am, and so I'm not even gonna entertain it. And I think the quicker you eliminate something, the quicker that you make up in your mind you're gonna get to the outcome. It's just like the Navy SEALs, it's just like the SEALs. That's why the SEALs are so bad. They make up in their mind before the mission that they're going to complete the mission. They make up in their mind before they set out on a mission, we are going to complete the mission. Meaning if it does not kill me, if I get an arm injury along the way, a leg injury along the way, a feet injury along the way, if you do not kill me, you will not stop my drive. No petty adversity will not stop me. I have to complete every mission that I set out on. One of the greatest pieces of advice that my mother gave me was this, son, whenever you start, you make sure you finish. Make sure you finish it. People get involved with things, and if they don't like a certain person, if they don't like the process, if it's not what they thought it was, they quit. And what they don't understand about quitting— quitting becomes a habit that doesn't just affect you. Later on in life, when you get a wife and you get some kids or you get a family, it's gonna come back to hunt you. Then one day affect it. That is why I tell you the process is more important than the product. It's not even about the outcome for me. It's about can you take pride in what you do as an individual and have Every night when you look in the mirror knowing that you gave everything you had to it. And no money doesn't have to be attached to it. It's about learning to work from the inside out in life and not from the outside in. When you work from the inside out in life, you understand your why, you understand your how, and you understand your what. Life is going to see how bad you want what you say you want. And so if there's never a level of commitment to it— and what commitment is, commitment, people think commitment is just saying Yes, I'll do it because the environment is right and it's cute. People get in certain environments, man, are you gonna do it? Do you feel like doing it? Do you think it's right? Yeah, man, let's do it. It's cool. Let's do it. Let's do it, man. But what commitment is— commitment is staying true to what you said you were going to do long after the mood that you have set it in has left. Don't miss the bars. Meaning when you don't feel like getting up in the morning, you get your butt up in the morning. You do what you said you were going to do anyway. Meaning when you don't feel like sacrificing You get your butt up and you sacrifice anyway. Meaning when you don't feel like being dedicated to it, you stay your butt dedicated anyway because you understand what the process will go on to produce later on in your life. It's not about the outcome. Eliminate the outcome. And we have to get to the point where we're willing to impose our will on certain things. Impose your will on it. It's just as if you were facing an opponent. Impose your will on it. Life will give in to you if it's not— if it knows you're serious about Whatever it is that you're trying to do, life will give in to you. When I went back to school, I had to learn how to write all over again with my left hand. I've been right-hand dominant my whole life. You think the teacher came up to me and said, Ink, I know you got a paralyzed right arm and you learning how to write again. We're gonna give you a little leverage. We're gonna let you take your time on these 30-page papers. No. Inky, here's your 30-page paper. I need it by tomorrow. I had some great friends. I didn't have one friend that was about to knock out a 30-page paper. I had to sit my butt in disability services and write that paper by myself. I had to learn how to tie my shoe all over again. I had to go up to people and say, man, can you help my roommates? Can you help bathe me, man? My life totally changed, and they gave me an opportunity to stop. And most people, when you give them an opportunity to stop while they're chasing something, they take advantage of it because They feel as if, man, why did this have to happen to me? I felt as if, why not me? This is the perfect opportunity to use this to be a blessing to somebody else. And you know what? It's not even about me, to be truthful. It's not even about me now. It's about repaying the people that invested in me and saw something in me when I couldn't see it in myself. Now this is the perfect time to give them a return on their investment. That's why I went on to get my master's degree. At a certain point in life, it can't just be about you. When, when do we get to the point where we start honoring the sacrifices that others have made for us? When do we get to the point where we say, Mom, I really appreciate those sacrifices you made for me, so I'm not quitting as a result of it? I guarantee you I'm coming out of Michigan State. Oh, I guarantee it. And it doesn't matter the outcome. It doesn't matter what I believe in you. I guarantee you, I went to my mother. God, I will never embarrass you. I will never quit because you sat in the park with me when I was 7 years old. So it's not even about me having a paralyzed right arm. It's not even that deep. The reason I wake up and live my life the way that I do Because I understand somebody is looking at me for my passion. Somebody is looking at me for my zone. Somebody is looking at me for my energy. Somebody every day to keep going, just like somebody is dependent on each of you. It's not about you, man. It's not about you. Blessings don't come to you. Blessings flow through you. And the moment that you understand that, you will realize your existence is not just about you. It's a lot of people that paved the way for you to be in the position that you're in. Honor that. Have a certain level of pride in what you do. Take pride in what you do. If your last name is on something, you should operate a certain way. You shouldn't just do it just to do it. I don't understand how people do that. How can people get up and just go through the flow of life? How do people do that? Like, I can't do that. When I look at my son, I can't say, son, I just got up and I flowed through life today. And he looked back at me like, Dad, you just spoke. No, I can't do that. I can't tell my wife Baby, I just strolled through life today. When I look at my wife, I tell her, no matter what happens in our life, no matter what we go through, you gonna be straight. You gonna be straight. You gonna be straight. You'll never have to worry about a thing. My kids will never see the life that I saw when I was a kid. I'm promising that. They're not seeing it right now. They will never see it because of who I am. And I understand who I am. And I know I'm a go-getter. When it boils down to it, I'm a go-getter. And I'm a flat-out woman. I'm gonna go get it. And nothing will not stop me from getting it. A lot of people, they have to be chasing something, or it has to be a reward attached to it, or they seek some type of validation, or they need some type of encouragement, a pat on the back to say, man, you're doing a good job. When you tell me I'm doing a good job or not, I'm gonna give everything I got to everything I'm involved in because that's just the way I'm cut. I'm gonna give everything I got to everything I'm involved in because that's the way I'm cut. You don't have to give me a reward for it. That's what I'm supposed to do. That's how I'm supposed to rock, and that's how I'm supposed to live my life. I don't need no reward. I'm checking in the Hampton and you giving me a cookie because I'm checking in? No, I'm gonna live my life a certain type of way because this is the standard of excellence that I should possess. Standard of excellence in everything that I do. It's not about the outcome, it's not about the circumstance, it's not about the situation, it's not about people. It's about me taking pride in what I do and having a certain standard of excellence. I could have worked at McDonald's. I guarantee you I would have been the best worker at McDonald's. I'm gonna be the best at what I do. I could have washed cars. I guarantee you I'd have been the best car washer there was. It had nothing to do with the outcome. That's just how I'm cut. I'm gonna go get it because I'm built for it. Stop needing a reward for what you do. Stop seeking validation for what you do. If you set out and you say you're gonna do something, do yourself a favor and don't lie to yourself, because that is the worst thing that an individual can ever do. You think you lying to your peers, right? You think you lying to your mother. You think you lying to your teacher. You think you lying to your coach. At the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, you lying to you, because that's your life. And 10 years from now, nobody can do anything for you. That's gonna be the life that you created, not anybody else. The life that you created. You make your bed, you gotta lay in it. And the moment that we understand that, and every day we wake up, we understand that life is a blessing. And if you were to check out today, how would you want to be remembered?
How would you want to be remembered, y'all?
We have to elevate to that point where we keep that standard, we keep that expectation in everything that we do, and understand that it's a lot bigger than us. Us doing everything that we do is a lot bigger than us, and we want to leave a legacy in everything that we do. People just want to be good. People just want to look cute doing things. I don't look cute. I don't care about being cool. Think I care about being cool? Man, there's people dying out here. There's young black males getting their life taken. There's people depending on us out here in the world. Think I care about being cool? I would rather somebody look at me and say, man, that cat came from the hood in Atlanta. His mother had him at 15. He came from a 2-bedroom home, 14 people. He slept on the floor with roaches and rats. He missed meals at night. His arm got paralyzed while he was in college chasing a dream. He was 8 games He was back in class the next week. He went on to get his bachelor's degree. He went on to get his master's degree. That's cool. That's who I want to be like. Because he never gave up, and I don't plan on giving up anytime soon. As a matter of fact, I'll go on record right now on tape to tell you I'll never give up regardless of what may happen, because I'm chasing something different. And it's not about the product, it's about the process. It's about me understanding, me going at things a certain type of weight, what it's gonna build and instill within me that's gonna sustain me for the rest of my life.
So why would I stop? I can't, I can't talk over Inky, you know what I'm saying? That's why, that's why I let, I let Inky rock. Hold up, hold up, hold up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can't talk over Inky. I wouldn't, I wouldn't do it no justice. I wouldn't do it no justice. All right, y'all, um, for the raffle, for those who, who wanted the raffle, we're gonna do the raffle on Monday because I wanted to get the, um, I wanted to get the site up, um, so we could do it seamlessly, but I didn't get the site up.
