A tree uses sunlight and shade together, with roots and trunk connecting opposing forces. Before solving any problem, observe how it actually works, then use that systems view to reframe your question.
Chapters
Observing this natural environment and this one thing in particular that you've been attracted to, notice how it operates. Like if it's a hot day, notice if you're looking at a tree and you see the shade that it's creating, the leaves want all of that sunlight, right? Because they're creating photosynthesis and using it. What's growing in the shade of the tree is everything that doesn't want that sunlight. And so the harmony of these 2 completely opposing forces often have a relationship. In this case, it would be the trunk and roots of the tree, and it pulls you out into a systems viewpoint really quickly. And don't try to solve it, but just let yourself observe how whatever you're looking at and connecting with is operating. And then come back and try to look at the question through that viewpoint.
