In this brief Friday Marriage Minute from the Naked Marriage Podcast, the hosts introduce the Christian marriage course “Keep Your Clothes On” by Narupe Alphonse, describing how it teaches couples to embody Christ‑like virtues—compassion, patience, humility, forgiveness, and love—to strengthen their relationship. They emphasize that marriage, like faith, is not an isolated endeavor but a communal “team sport” that requires daily mutual love, grace, prayer, and accountability within the broader church community. The segment invites listeners to access the course via an XO NOW subscription or purchase it directly, and teases a full‑length episode releasing the following Monday.
We all want a marriage that thrives, but sometimes it feels like we're just surviving instead of growing together.
In "Keep Your Clothes On," Narupe Alphonse teaches couples how to dress their marriage in the virtues of Christ—compassion, patience, humility, forgiveness, and love—so that your relationship can flourish no matter the challenges.
Narupe helps couples see that marriage isn't just about getting along. It's about choosing love daily, bearing with one another in grace, and letting Christ shape your hearts together. You'll learn how to handle each other with care, practice humility, and let the Word of God guide your marriage.
If you're ready to strengthen your marriage and live out Christlike love every day, this course is for you.
Keep Your Clothes On is available through your XO NOW subscription, or you can purchase it individually at xonow.com.
Hey friends, welcome to our Friday Marriage Minute, where you get a little glimpse of our episode that is coming next week. And we are so excited to share today's episode with you. So let's dive in.
You could be technically married and never be around your spouse, but it's not going to be much of a marriage. And it's the same with our faith. Like, when you read the Bible, you read the New Testament in particular, it's almost impossible to live out the faith that we're called to in isolation. It's all this with one another, you know, encourage one another, serve one another, love one another, confess your sins to one another, pray for one another. It's all of these things that it just takes for granted. You're going to be in community. And that the church is, is God's community. It's not a building, it's a community of believers. And that community starts with you and your spouse. Be in faithful community with each other, you know, doing those things for each other, praying for each other, supporting each other. But faith is a team sport, not an individual sport. Like, we need other people around us. Thank you for tuning in to today's Marriage Minute. I hope it was an encouragement to you. Don't forget to come back on Monday for a brand new full-length episode of the Naked Marriage Podcast. We'll see you then.
