My name is Anna. What happened was I got the seasonal flu, simple as that. But I never got better. First I had flu like symptoms. Difficulty breathing and coughing a lot and feeling tired. But my symptoms, they just got worse and worse and worse. It was not that long ago actually that I was at my lowest point. It began 2022 when I contracted Covid as well. Then I got bed bound. I could sit up for a few minutes a day without getting worse. I could go between the bed and the bathroom. But that was it. I had to get help with everything. Then I got a little, little better, could do some more things. I got pregnant because, yeah, we thought life's gonna be better. But in the last weeks of my pregnancy, I really, really crashed again into that state of totally bedbound and total loss of energy. So during last summer, the summer of 2023, when I was a new mom with a small baby, I was hospitalized for a few weeks because I couldn't do anything for myself. I had these awful pains. Luckily, in the first years of my illness, I didn't have a lot of pain. It was just the fatigue that was my problem. But then the pain also came, this burning sensations in the whole body. So that was really, really awful. And it was so bad. So automatically my brain went, yeah, I want to live this life. So yeah, I tried to finish my life actually. So that's how I came to hospital. So that was my absolute lowest point. And not being able to turn into in bed without feeling awful pains and like waves of fatigue, that was yeah, the worst years of my life. Absolutely. My family searched all over the place for clinics that could help me. So we found that private practice and I went there and it's a functional medicine practice, so I'm doing some other things too. But they really strongly recommended me to do some brain training. And they said, yeah, these are the programs that exist. But we think the Gupta program will be beneficial for you. It's compassionate and you're taking it slow and it's hopeful and you can find community as well. So, yeah, that was the start of me signing up doing the Gupta program. I noticed just after a couple weeks, exponential recovery. Actually, while I did the, the seven steps and I did them regularly, I noticed actually that energy was, it felt like energy was flowing into my body. I really noticed when I used it preventative and I used it during my activities, I didn't fell down into anxious state and tired state, but I, I felt uplifted and I could do the activities without being exhausted or tired afterwards. So it helped me to build back strength, to build back confidence that I can do these things without getting worse. So, yeah, it really pushed my overactive nervous system down and got me calm and centered. And with that feeling, I could do more things. And when I could do more things, I could do even more things and build back physical strength, mental strength, and just expanding my life. Every longer walk has been a milestone. When I started running again, well, I don't do it often. I do more. I lift weights and stuff to build up my body. But I've been running, and that was huge. Dancing all night at a party, at a conference with my husband. That was crazy. It was so wonderful. Celebrating my son's first birthday. Wow. Okay, now I get cash because that was a huge milestone, because I didn't think I was going to live to see him grow up because I thought my life was over. So that was huge. And I didn't get a backlash, and I just felt really strong and happy.
