Ashok Gupta delivers a short Easter/holiday message encouraging listeners to view spring as a time for renewal and re-energizing after a difficult winter. He uses cocoon/new-shoots/oak-tree metaphors to urge people to recommit to their recovery/program and to remain open to new possibilities.

And I want to say so, firstly.
Happy Easter to everybody, happy holidays that are coming up this coming weekend. And something to think about in terms of your journey is this idea of.
Spring being a time for renewal, for.
Re energizing the system.
And this really has been a challenging winter for many in terms of the cost of living crisis and the darker days.
And now spring is about that emerging. It is like the emerging, the gradual.
Emerging out of the cocoon, out of.
The darkness of winter, into the brightness of spring. And so, as we do this over this coming weekend, I'd really like you.
To think about recommitting to the program.
And many of you are already committed to the program, but spring is an.
Opportunity to revitalize that, and that's why.
They call it the new shoots of spring.
There's new shoots appearing all around us. And to be open to possibility sometimes.
In the depths of winter, and I mean this metaphorically, the cynical part of.
This, Bartholomew Bart, my favorite part, can sometimes, you know, block us and think.
Am I really going to get better?
Is this really going to work? And actually, let's dispel those old myths that we used to have about our recovery or get too identified with the.
Old way we looked at the condition.
And instead embrace that idea of spring springing into renewal, springing into recovery and.
Being open to possibilities. Does that acorn that begins to grow.
Those small shoots, does it ever doubt.
That one day it could become an.
Oak tree to expand and be open to that grander possibility for your recovery? And that's the hope and the message for spring that I want to give you today. So happy Easter to everybody, and please.
