A bit of background for myself. So I essentially suffered from the condition many years ago, and I had it for a few years, you know, quite intensely. And I think I would still be ill had I not discovered some of the things that I discovered that I'm going to share with you today. And I remember those really difficult, dark times when I had the condition. You know, I remember just thinking, this is it. You know, my life's over. I can't seem to even walk to the bathroom. I'm feeling exhausted all the time. There seems to be no cure. Every time I speak to anyone, they say, well, there's no way you can get better from this condition. So what was I supposed to do? It's like I hit a brick wall in my life. And it's a very, very difficult time. And I know for those of you tuning in, whatever condition you have, I know that you know what it feels like because you have it. And it can feel like on certain days, like everything is lost. There can be a deep sense of despair. How am I ever going to get better from this condition? And in those darkest moments, I just thought to myself, I have to work through this. I have to figure out a way of getting better. You know, I was 21, 22 years old, and that's where I then decided to do a lot of research into the brain neurology of this condition. And so I researched a lot of brain, brain neurology, in books, articles, etc. And I managed to get myself fully 100% better. And I did that through understanding what was going on in my brain, what kind of patterns were occurring. And remember, we're not saying it's psychological. It's obviously a real physical illness with real physical symptoms, but there are some ways in which we can actually target certain brain responses and begin to gradually calm down. Overactive brain. So I got fully better and I decided to then open up a clinic to work with other people to help them get better too. And it's been a fantastic journey, a very rewarding journey, and I wouldn't swap my experiences for anything. So at the time, it was a really horrible experience, thinking, this is it, you know, I can't go on. And yet I feel that in my life there's some positive things that have come out of that. And my sharing and my ability to help others with this condition has been an incredible gift, and I feel very humble and grateful to be able to do this as part of my life.
