A first-person YouTube testimonial by Britta describing severe long Covid symptoms (exhaustion, tachycardia, palpitations, limited physical capacity) following infection and her recovery progress after using the Gupta Program (meditation, 'seven steps'). She reports gradual improvements: better sleep, short bike rides, family outings, holidays, and returning to light sports while maintaining regular meditation practice.

I'm Britta, and two years ago I was normally working part time in the health business and caring for my three children. At a certain point, I acquired Covid. And after Covid, I felt quite exhausted for some time, but I kind of ignored it. And about two months after the acute infection, from one day to the other, I just couldn't go on. I was riding my bike to work and got severe palpitations so that I nearly fell off the bike and fainted. And after that I had to stop everything. The palpitations stayed and I had a very bad tachycardia. Whenever I try to do anything, which is any of the normal daily chores, I couldn't climb normal stairs anymore. I had to go upstairs, making pauses every three to four steps. I also got tachycardia when I talked to people and when I worked on the computer and when I had to prepare dinner. And the other thing was that I felt very, very exhausted whenever I did things. And so I was spending a lot of time just resting. But resting didn't make it better because I couldn't rest properly. I was desperate to find out what was wrong with me. And so I went to my doctor and to several other doctors. I tried medications. So I got prescribed beta blockers for the tachycardia. I got some medication to sleep better, but I was still too exhausted. The first thing I tried of the Gupta program was actually one of the meditations, the acceptance and surrender. That was the first time I listened to a meditation exercise. And I had a little bit the feeling that I could relax and calm down. Then started using the seven steps. And that was the most helpful thing for me with the seven steps. It was the first time I thought, okay, I can do something to help myself. There were a lot of things which I was very happy to be able to do again. Maybe one of the first things was to be able to sleep a bit better, just to go for a walk with my husband or one of my children without having to think about how badly exhausted I would be afterwards. And one big milestone was to be able to ride my bike again, just for short ways to go shopping. And there were kind of bigger milestones, like being able to go on holiday with my family. And now I've started doing sports. Well, just like rehabilitation sports, but still sports. I'm nearly as active again as before I became ill, but I take more time for relaxation. I still do meditation for 20 minutes three times a day. Before I got ill, I thought I was the only person in the world that didn't need breaks. But that that probably was not right and probably was not healthy either. Like, two years ago, I think I would never have thought that it would take so long to get better, but I also didn't know if it would get better.
