In this first‑person testimonial, Claire recounts a lifelong struggle with chronic fatigue, pervasive anxiety, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) that intensified during her menopause transition, leading her to quit her nursing/occupational therapy job and become socially withdrawn. After meeting someone who had used the Gupta Approach for chronic fatigue, she began a four‑month program. Claire describes the Gupta Approach as a lifeline that restored hope, increased her energy, reduced anxiety, and alleviated IBS symptoms. She cites concrete outcomes such as planning a holiday to Malta for her 60th birthday—something she previously thought impossible—and feeling confident to attend social events without fear of IBS flare‑ups. Additionally, as a newly diagnosed neurodivergent woman, she highlights how the program provides extra skills for navigating her condition. The video serves as an endorsement of the Gupta Program’s effectiveness for chronic fatigue, anxiety, IBS, and neurodivergent individuals.

My name is Claire. Thinking back to many, many years before symptoms started to develop, I'd probably be going back to childhood when I felt fully joyful and in my relaxed sort of self and had a childhood growing up in the country, but I was developed more and more problems, difficulties with chronic fatigue, a lot of anxiety, and also difficulties with IBS. But I managed that for, for many, many years and held down a job in nursing and occupational therapy. And then when it came to the big menopause transition, which was was quite a journey. Things really, really unravelled. I gave my job up and actually being around other people was increasingly difficult. And then I met somebody who had herself used the Gupta approach for chronic fatigue. Now I've been working with the programme for 4 months and it's It has been a lifeline. I am grateful on so many different levels for what it's bringing me. It has enabled me to feel hope. Before starting using the Gupta Approach, when my symptoms were hard— hardest, I was very, very anxious. I had anxiety from when I woke up in the morning, most of the day. And I was socially very withdrawn. I was finding it very difficult to be out and to be with people. My energy levels were, were very low. And then after starting with the Gupta approach and working with the tools, I found that my energy levels have increased. Well, let me give you a really concrete example. I've actually booked a holiday in the next few weeks going to Malta to celebrate my 60th birthday, which is something I could not have contemplated doing at all. And the other big, big gift of recovery so far is in relation to the IBS. My IBS was such a point where actually I would be frightened to go out because of finding access to a toilet and because of all the physical symptoms of the IBS. I have noticed a real easing in that food sensitivity and able to have the confidence to start going out and doing, doing more with friends and family. And I would like to just add my endorsement that I'm finding as a neurodivergent, newly diagnosed neurodivergent woman, that the Gupta approach is giving me so many more extra skills to navigate all that that brings.
