Dips Are Signposts To Success | Ashok Gupta | Gupta Program |

Ashok Gupta tells people retraining with his program that dips are normal signposts, not failures. He frames chronic conditions as software problems the body can fix, and uses the seed and baby metaphors to show why repeated practice through setbacks leads to recovery.

Now, how are things going for you? I hope that you're gently able to put the tools into practice with commitment, because repetition and perseverance really do work with this program, especially during any dips that you may have. Now, helping you recover from this condition is my life's quest. It's my passion and it brings me so much joy and so much gratitude when I see retrainers go on this journey of healing and recovery. So many before you have walked this path, and so shall you. And it's a path of overcoming fear and worry. Your human spirit is strong even when your body doesn't feel it. And yes, you can navigate those dark tunnels in the mind even when everything feels hopeless. You can see the light. You know that you will get there. I know you can, because many before you have, and so can you. You're already healthy. Your body knows how to be healthy. Because there's nothing wrong with, with the hardware, the physical hardware. It's a software issue. The software of your body, your body's programming is keeping the body in an altered state of over defensiveness, which drains your energy. And once we change that programming, then the system will naturally come back to balance because that's its nature. You are like a seed that already knows how to grow into a strong tree. It just needs that nurture, that sunlight, and then it can grow. That's the exciting news. Remember the analogy of the baby learning to walk? It stands up and walks and then falls over like a dip that you might have. And then the baby stands up again and walks and then falls over. But the baby doesn't think, oh dear, I'm never going to be able to do. Gets back up and tries again and again and keeps falling over. But repeated dips are the signpost to success. By falling over many times, the baby learns how to get the right balance. And you are also learning how to balance your life till eventually you can walk and fly. Sam.
