Well, hello and a warm, warm welcome to the launch party for Gupta program 5.0. And I'm so excited that you can be with me here today for this launch. We've been something that I've been working on for the last two years or so and if you don't know who I am. So my name is Ashok Gupta and I'm the founder of the Gupta Program. And it's been my lifelong quest, lifelong passion, to really help people with certain chronic illnesses and chronic conditions. And today marks a real milestone, the culmination of two years of work, of working on all the latest research, the latest science, the latest developments on what can really help people heal from these types of chronic conditions, such as ME, CFS, fibromyalgia, etc. Today we are finally able to launch this new program at 6:30 today. So it's very exciting. We'll be launching our program at 6:30 at the end of our webinar today. Today's an opportunity for you to ask questions and find out more about how the program actually works. Okay, so I'm just going to make sure that there are people tuning in and that can see me live the Facebook stream and you can probably see that there are some balloons here and you may say what pretty self indulgent of you to actually create a balloon of yourself. I promise that I'm not that narcissistic. This was actually a wonderful gift from our marketing manager, Jess Reedy. It was a real surprise this morning as I opened the front door. I was busy preparing for today and here we had some lovely balloons that she's created for us for our launch party. So thank you, Jess. So with this new launch today, we're going to go through the background to how we got here with the Gupta program and what new experiences you can have with the new program. We're going to surf around the website, give you more information and at the end of today, we're going to tell you how you can actually join and upgrade to the new Gupta program. Or if you haven't got the Gupta program already, how you can actually find out more about it. So what would be lovely is to just say hello to a few people. I know they've got a lot of people tuning in from around the world. So if you'd like to just say your name and where you're tuning in from. So Kathy, big hello to Kathy, tuning in from California. Welcome to you, Astrid, saying nice balloon. Yes, certainly self indulgent to have your picture on a balloon. I'm not Exactly. Sure where that's going to be stored tonight? Marianne asking, will there be a video replay? Yes. You'll be able to watch a recording of today on the actual Facebook page on the Gupta program. Facebook page. So I'd like to kind of give you a bit of background to myself. Lorraine saying hello, Lorraine from New Jersey, nice to see you. Leanne from the Netherlands, Elizabeth from Munich in Germany. Yes. How could I forget you, Elizabeth, I remember you. Penny from Toronto, great to see you. Beth saying she's excited to hear about the new program. So am I. I've been excited all week. I've been like a kid before Christmas. And it's interesting. Today is actually Ash Wednesday, funny enough, another auspicious day for Christians. And it marks the first day of Christ. Contemplation, meditation, certain types of austerity. And I hope today that we can take that into account as we start, perhaps re engaging with the program if you've already done the program or perhaps if you're starting for the first time. Today's very auspicious day to begin this program of reflection, of meditation and healing. What a great opportunity this is for all of us. Marina saying hello from Sweden. Great to see you. Marina, Joita from Germany, I know you very well. We were on the other call the other day. Ian Camosa, nice to see you. Louise from Florence, Jessica from California. Thank you so much for all of you for tuning in. What we'd love to see is your hearts and your smiles across the screen. So please do like this video and please do share it with your friends, perhaps other me CFS groups or fibro groups or other, other chronic illness groups. I'm sure they'd love to hear more about what we're going to talk about today. So please do feel free to share this video on social media wherever you like. And we get more people to hear about how they can use the power of their brain, the power of their minds to heal themselves from so many different types of conditions. Wow, this is just so exciting to be launching this finally after so long. So a bit of background to myself. So I suffered from ME also called chronic fatigue syndrome about 20 years ago when I was at university. And I remember at that time, and I'm sure many of you can empathize with this. Just thinking, what exactly is going on here? Here I am, I'm in my 20s and I'm hitting this brick wall. I'm ill. I have to crawl to the bathroom. And I remember in that worst moment thinking, you know, this is it. You know, my Life's over. So many people tell me that there's no cure from this condition. There's no way through. What am I supposed to do? You know, it was a very, very depressing time and I had plenty of support from my family especially and from friends, but still, it was such a difficult time. And, you know, I really then am someone that wants to find out what's going on. I can't have questions unanswered. So I then researched a lot of the brain neurology of emotion, the brain neurology of illness, and just generally physiology. And I managed to work out what I thought, or certainly a hypothesis as to what could be causing this condition based on my mental emotional experience of the condition. And gradually I was able to do more and more research, experiment with different tools on my own brain, literally brain retraining in a very ad hoc way. And from that moment onwards it was a gentle and slow recovery. And then I was able to publish the medical papers on what I thought caused the condition, which are available on PubMed on the online research portal, and then decided that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. And obviously when you first work on yourself, that's one thing, but when you then start working with others, there's a whole new set of issues and challenges that come up. So we. I spent many years in my clinic in Harley street in central London, refining the tools and techniques until I found a process that I felt worked for most people most of the time. And we then published our program in 2007. So this was one of the first brain retraining programs out there for chronic illness. So we published in 2007 and then we were able to conduct a couple of studies. So we did a small study, a clinical audit, which found that two thirds of patients actually reached a full recovery, 80 to 100% recovery. And then we also did a small study with the Mayo Clinic and we're currently looking to raise $100,000 or $200,000 depending on which study we do, to actually do a much larger scale trial. Now we've got another study which was done in Spain on fibromyalgia, which once again showed that this treatment was far more effective than some of the standard treatments. So we're looking forward to that being published later in the year and hopefully that will then trigger more of the mainstream medical profession to take this more seriously and to actually endorse it. And of course, we already have so many different, different doctors, CFS faculties, fibro practitioners who are already recommending our program because they see the results from people who've been able to recover. So that's, for me, that's what I live for. It's that gratitude to be able to be working in this area, to be able to help people to heal from illnesses that can change a person's life very quickly. So that's the journey that we've been on. And along that journey, we've had, obviously many people recover who have then become our coaches. So we've launched a training program for people to become coaches. And if you want to become a coach yourself, then at the bottom of our new website there is a link to say, become a new coach. And you can find out how that can happen as well. So that's a bit of background to myself for those of you who are new to the program and just want to find out more. And I know a lot of you are existing retrainers who are wanting to upgrades to the new program. So, and talking of coaches, something, we actually had some very sad news over the weekend. So one of our dear beloved friends, Susan Newborn, who was one of the coaches with the Gupta program, I believe she was in. She was a very dedicated practitioner. I believe she was in her 70s and unfortunately she passed away over the weekend. And I'd certainly like to dedicate today in our launch to her memory and her beautiful soul. May she rest in peace. And we'll miss her deeply. So moving on from that, now, we're learning, we're constantly learning. We want to find out more about how people experience the program, which is why we took a lot of feedback over the last couple of years. What really works for people, what aspects of the program are delivered in the best possible way. And we decided that we then wanted to upgrade the program and make it much easier to use, much simpler to use, and of course, much more powerful and comprehensive at the same time. Sometimes when we've got limited energy or we have some kind of chronic illness, it can be very difficult to work things out, to really focus and concentrate. I believe that the new program and the way that we structured it will make it far easier for you to work with it. And of course, if some of you have already used the old Gupta program, when at 6:30 we open the doors to our new program and the new website and you can upgrade. When you go into the new program, I want you to imagine that it's the very first day. Imagine everything's brand new. Forget everything that you learned from the old program and imagine that you're embracing the new program. With that newfound enthusiasm and joy and innocence. And for those of you who are new to the program, if you haven't done the Gupta program before, there's plenty of free videos on the website, so you can sign up for the free trial, and you can then get lots of links to lots of videos which explain more about the background and then the hypothesis, and then you can see whether the program is right for you. So, without further ado, shall we take a look at the program, the New Gupta program, 5.0. So I'm going to share my screen, and then we're going to take a look at the actual website itself and get a feel for it, and I'll explain a bit more about how it works. And for those of you who are new to the program, who don't know about the hypothesis, on our website, we've got lots of videos, and also on our Facebook page, lots of videos that help you understand more about our background and how we believe that, how we believe that these conditions actually occur. And in a nutshell, a very simple way of looking at it is that imagine that your body is like a castle. So your body is like a castle, and you have two defense mechanisms that defend the castle, the army and the navy. Imagine there's a sea nearby, nearby the castle. This is a very good analogy for those of you who are Game of Thrones fans. So you've got the army and the navy, and your body is the castle, and your mind is the king or the queen of the castle. And suddenly there are some invaders coming over the hill and invading the castle. So the army and the navy, the nervous system and the immune system get triggered, and they get triggered into action, and they go and defend against those invaders, and they successfully defend the castle. Now, imagine that over a space of a few years, perhaps there's a drought, perhaps there's difficulty feeding the population, and people are feeling weak and malnutrition, malnourished. So this can remind us of when we first got the condition. Sometimes we're going through a very stressful time in our lives. And then imagine that then the castle is weak, right? So the castle feels very weak. The army and the navy feel weaker because they haven't been given the supplies that they need to defend the castle effectively. Suddenly they see some invaders coming over the hill, and they successfully wanting to defend against those invaders, but they're weak, they're tired, and they can't always fight off that invading army, and they only just managed to fight off those invaders. But now that's caused Some trauma to the army and the Navy. They think, you know, what that particular condition, that flu or that virus or that bacterial infection or that stomach bug or that food poisoning that was potentially fatal for us. That potentially meant we were going to lose the castle. So now we need to be on high alert all the time to defend against anything that might come over the hill. So even when something small and benign comes over the crest of the hill, the army and the navy get energized and ready to fight because they know that we are now in survival mode, we're in emergency mode. And so the whole system stays in that emergency mode. And the more that the army and Navy are on red alert, the more that the castle. So the brain thinks that we're in danger because we're using up resources, using up energy. We're becoming weaker and weaker through the army and the navy taking all the resources. So then that stimulates the brain to become even more cautious, even more worried, and go into that hyper defense mode. So in lots of these chronic conditions are when our nervous system and our immune system keeps triggering itself unnecessarily against symptoms in the body. Or in the case of chemical sensitivities or electrical sensitivities, things external to ourselves, it keeps over defending and over defending, which uses up the energy and resources and causes its own problems in the body. For instance, when you have flu, the symptoms of flu are not caused by the flu virus, the influenza virus. They are caused by your own nervous system and immune system getting triggered to fight off that virus and things that we take for granted like flu and colds and, you know, stomach bugs. Actually, if we have a weak immune system, people can pass away from these conditions from a flu. Therefore, that's why our nervous system, immune system can go into that hyper fight or flight response and hyper immune stimulation to the point at which all the system's resources get used up. And we then get into a vicious cycle of the brain perceiving weakness in the body, triggering the nervous system and the immune system, which then creates symptoms which trigger back to the brain. The brain thinks we're in danger and we go into a circle. And in the case of chemical sensitivities, electrical sensitivities, food sensitivities, the brain has made a decision that those things are dangerous. And I believe that the core conditioning occurs in two brain structures, the amygdala and the insula. You can find out much more about that on our website. If you go onto our website and click causes or research, then you'll Find out much more about how that process work. And I go deeper into that hypothesis. Great. So let's have a look at the new website and the new program. So I'm going to share my screen here. Okay, so here it is. And I just very briefly, for those of you who are new to the program, I just explain how you can surf around it. So what I would encourage you to do is register for the free trial. You don't have to input any credit card details or anything like that. You can register for the free trial. And when you register, you then get access to the members area where you can see how the process works. And you get access to lots and lots of videos. And also I share with you a meditation that you can experience as well. Okay, so that's for those of you who are new to the program. You register for free trial and then I'll surf around the members area in a moment. And here you can find out more about the program under Success Stories. You can watch lots of videos of people who've recovered and gained their wisdom and their advice. We also, under conditions, give lots of information about the various conditions that we treat. Then under research, we click on research. Here there are lots of videos that you can watch about what causes or what hypothesis behind what causes these conditions. You can read the medical papers and then also I go through a written explanation and then help us understand what causes a lot of the symptoms that we see in these conditions. And these conditions I call neuroimmune conditioned syndromes, NICs because they nick our energy and they nick our health. And they're neuro because they involve the brain and the nervous system, a conditioning in the system. So I condition. So condition means a learned response. Immune because they involve our immune system. And then syndromes, because they involve a whole complex of different symptoms depending on what you have. And I want you to know that no matter how difficult your journey has been, I believe that that health, that is our birthright. And when we understand more about these conditions that the mainstream medical profession sometimes finds it hard to treat, when we understand the deeper reasons, but how it works at a physiological level, at an emotional level, at a mental level, at a spiritual level, when we treat the mind and body holistically, then it opens up the door to understanding and a deeper wisdom about how we can heal. And for those of you who perhaps have watched this new documentary on Netflix called Heal, I'd love for all of you to watch that in that documentary they talk about how in most medical experiments or medical studies, sure, Someone improves on the pill that the active treatment. But up to 50, 60, 70% of people just heal thinking that they're getting the treatment or the correct pill, when in fact they're getting a placebo. And we dismiss the placebo effect, but actually when we enhance that effect, it is the ability of the brain to physiologically shift itself into a new homeostasis, into a new state of healing. The brain and body have that ability and have that wisdom, but they sometimes get stuck in an altered state of homeostasis, which means that there is continual illness in the body. So that documentary is fascinating because it says that we have the ability to heal. And I believe that the Gupta program is an opportunity to put ourselves in the optimal healing state, to heal ourselves from so many different conditions. Great. So for those of you who are new, once again, you can click on Register for free trial. And we've got lots of blogs and articles as well. So we've accumulated lots of different articles that our coaches have written and other retrainers have written. And under coaches, you can click there and you can find out more information about all our coaches and how they can support you through your healing journey. And remember that when you start the Gupta program, you can actually work with a coach straight away. And I really advise that because this is a journey of deep reflection and understanding. Sometimes we have our blind spots and what we think is normal, a normal way of thinking, a normal behavior. Actually, a coach is able to be a mirror and help us observe ourselves and see what might be overstimulating our nervous system and our immune system. So I'd love for you to work with one of our coaches and go deeper. And, you know, with all of this, it's recognizing that sometimes we find it difficult to feel positive, to feel happy about our recovery, because when we're overstimulating the brain and the nervous system, it uses up a lot of the feel good chemicals like serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, oxytocin, which can lower our mood, which makes it even harder to have that motivation to recover. And just like today is a celebration, this day, today I'd like us to see as a celebration, a celebration of our innate ability to heal, to a celebration of the human spirit. Think about all the challenges that humans have faced on this planet over the centuries, how that human spirit, the power of that human spirit, that determination, that focus, that love, has been able to help us through so much adversity in life. And so it is with this condition, I'm going to help you with this program to connect with that inner spirit and that strength that I truly believe you have and help you move forward on your journey to health and happiness. So let's have a look now at the members area. So for those of you who have already got the old program and you're upgrading at 6:30 today you will receive an email and in that email you'll have your personal link which is just for you to be able to upgrade to the new program. And it explains all about how that will happen. You'll receive a new manual in the post and also as part of your upgrade you'll get a free access to a webinar series of your choice. And you also have the option to buy the usb. So instead of just using the online system where if you're some of the videos may take a few seconds to buffer, you can buy all of the videos, all of the meditations, all of the new audio exercises on a USB pen. So you can have a copy forever and you can use it on your laptop and access them instantly without the need for an Internet connection. Okay, I realize I haven't logged in, so I'm going to just log in and then I will be able to show you the new site. Lucky it doesn't show you my password. Okay. I hope that looks like me. Does it? I hope so. So here we are. We have now entered the members area of the Gupta program. And here you will see that on the left hand side you can click course sessions or hover your cursor over course sessions and you have an introduction. And then sessions one to 15, the left hand side. And we start off with in session one explanation of how to use the program. In session two we prepare the mind for berean retraining. So we encourage you to meditate and there's lots of meditations here as well. So there's a video on how to meditate. And then in session three we go into a deeper explanation of the condition. And then the main exciting sessions where we retrain our brain to stop those vicious cycles and, and train the brain to change its perception of the body is in session four and five. So the main brain we're training is session four and five. And then we have some holistic advice on pacing, diet, sleep, getting into nature. Session eight, we go through the accelerator technique, which is another very powerful brain retraining technique. And some people find that's the technique for them. So there's so many different tools and techniques within the program and we go a lot deeper into parts well, if we click on exercises and meditations, we've now made it really easy that all the meditations are in one place here. And on top of that, a lot of audio exercises. So with the last program you kind of have to do a lot of it yourself. Whereas with now I narrate all the visualizations, I narrate the brain retraining exercises that you can do in the morning and lots of all the other exercises as well in the program. Lots of parts, exercises, integration, all of those things that perhaps some of you experienced on the last webinar series. It's all there for you to access at any point that you like. And then you can also have an online journal. So under my notes, when you watch each of the videos, you can also make notes on the videos and store them on your personal portal. Then you here under my webinars, you receive all the links to the live webinars that we're starting on the 18th of March. For those of you who will be upgrading, you can choose that option or you can choose a future option. And there are other little products you can purchase to support your recovery. There are newsletters and lots of articles under there. And of course our amazing Facebook group, our Facebook forum, which is a real loving, warm place where you can meet lots of other retrainers and they can support you along your journey. And you can even have a buddy who you call every week or every couple of weeks to support and coach each other. Yep. So that's a bit of information about this members area and I'm just really excited for you to experience it. And let's say we click on how to use the program, so we click on that first link there and then you'll see that you have your progress on the right hand side. That shows you how much you progressed in a session and then all the different modules under that session. And as you can see, a lot of the videos are between five to 10 minutes long. So rather than thinking or sit down and watch a whole hour long video that is split into 10 minute chunks or 5 minute chunks to make it nice and easy to absorb the material. Great. Okay, so I am just so excited. We're going to be launching in two minutes. Now how exciting is this? Look out in your inbox. You'll be receiving an email very shortly which will have your personal link for those of you who've got the Gupta program on how to upgrade to the online version and the USB version, if that's the one you choose. And those of you new to the program, you can visit our new website, which is guptaprogram.com so rather than double me at the end, it's a single M. So Gupta program, the American spelling.com and I hope my British friends will forgive me for embracing the American spelling, but you know, that's the way the rest of the world seems to spell it. So that's why we've gone with a single M. Great. One minute to go now. So you should be receiving that email very shortly. And because we will be having a lot of people upgrading at the same time, there may be a bit of a delay on the website with so many people trying to upgrade at the same time. So if you find any challenges with the website, please do bear with us and try again in five minutes or so or 10 minutes and then you should be able to log in and be able to upgrade your membership. So I know that you've got lots and lots of questions and I want to interact with you now. So what we're going to do is, is we're going to stop this Facebook Live and this recording will then go onto the Gupta Program Facebook page and it will also be available on our YouTube channel. And then I'm going to start another Facebook Live on the Gupta Program page. Yep. So if you keep refreshing the Gupta Program page, we'll start another Facebook Live where we'll do a Q and A and A celebration. Whatever comments that you'd like to leave or how you'd like to join us in this celebration today, those comments will be very welcome. So please do share like this video. Please share it on your own timelines, on other support groups and patient forums. I'd love to. I'm sure they'd love to find out more and obviously they can watch the free videos as well and join the free trial. So I'm so excited that you could be with me here today. It's been a lot of fun and I look forward to see you in a couple of minutes time on our Facebook Live Q and A, which we also a video appearing in the Facebook Page timeline. So thank you so much for watching. I want to give you all that love and encouragement that you are that brave soul, that brave warrior, that no matter how lost you feel with your condition or your symptoms, however negative and pessimistic the world around you has made you feel about it. I truly believe that whatever you're experiencing, you can make a partial recovery or a full recovery by connecting with that human spirit, by taking this journey of deep self reflection, of understanding more about your brain. And more about these conditions and going on this journey. I look forward to seeing you sometime soon. Thank you for watching and see you again soon. Thank you and goodbye.
