Ashok Gupta explains why his program differs from others: it uses a gentler, step-by-step approach instead of repeated boot camp pushes, with careful pacing to avoid crashes. It's designed for people recovering from benzo GABA injury and emphasizes recognizing warning signs and cultivating stillness.

I did another retraining program and the program was too strong for me. I felt better initially but then had a horrible crash. Then I switched to Gupta because I heard it was a more gentle approach. However, I worry that I will have a horrible crash again. I'm recovering from benzo gaba injury. That's something we mentioned earlier. So with the Gupta program, we have a more gentle step by step approach because this is not a boot camp where you have to do one thing again and again and again and push yourself and push yourself and get better. Because actually that doesn't take into account the physical functioning of the body. We still pace ourselves. So we pace ourselves with the program and we pace ourselves in terms of our physical activity. So that should make sure that you don't have a horrible crash. Instead you can recognize the warning signs and pull back and focus on your own, creating more stillness and peace within you.
