How Long Does It Take To Recover? | Ashok Gupta | Gupta Program |

Ashok Gupta explains recovery timelines for brain retraining vary widely: some people see changes in hours or days, others take weeks or months. He warns against two traps: stopping once you improve and quitting during temporary setbacks. Commit to at least six months.

And if it was easy, if it was an overnight process, we just clicked our fingers and did it, we'd all have done it by now. The one thing that I ask of you as we go through this journey is simply to stay committed. To stay committed to your health and happiness. I mean, what could be more important than that? So many times in our lives we think, well, I'll get to the Gupta programmer or do the meditation once I've done the laundry, or once I've done this or once I've done that. And we leave this precious knowledge, right, to the last thing we do in the day. And I'd love for you to really commit to the program and put the program first. And you'll be amazed at how all the other things in our lives seem to just get done when we prioritize our own self care and our own health. So that's all I ask of you, is to stay committed along this path. And why do we want you to stay committed? Because we're used to this consumer generation of right? We do something and we get results. You know, I want to have something in my possession right now. I order on Amazon comes often. It's the same day these days, right? We want instant results. And yet with something like brain retraining and neuroplasticity, it will require patience. Because some of you amongst your peers will notice differences within hours and days. And that's great. Some of you, it may take days and weeks. For a minority, a small minority, it may take a number of months before you see benefits. We don't know how long it will take to see those initial benefits, to keep the momentum going. So all I ask of you as we begin our journey together, that you commit for that minimum six months, no matter what, no matter if you have no improvement or maybe you have massive improvements quite quickly, you think, I don't need to do the Gupta program now. Whichever camp you're in, I ask you to just commit and keep going no matter what. And the results will come. In fact, the number one challenge we face here at the clinic is when people have a dip. So they're doing really well and they have a bit of a dip and they think, oh, no, what do I do now? It hasn't worked. And actually it has worked. It's just that you continue going no matter what. Or the flip side, people become complacent. They get well, they get up to 70, 80% quite quickly, and they think, oh, I've done it now, that's it. And then they start letting go of the program. So once again, keep going is the message.
