It is an illusion to think that somehow you should be comparing yourselves and that your journey is like the same as everyone else's. Each person's journey is very, very different. Each person's starting point is very, very different. And therefore we give ourselves that self compassion to say, let me do this in my own time, in my own way, and be less dependent on how long it's going to take. But just that persistence, that target, that goal, this is where I'm heading. It doesn't matter how long it takes to get there, I keep going. Any negative thoughts or emotions that come up, we just let them go and keep moving. Keep moving forward, don't move back. Yeah, we move back when we get stuck in the past or start comparing, but just keep moving forward. And you know, that's why we sleep. That's why we have sleep at night, we wake up in the morning. Have you ever thought about this? That if, imagine if the whole of life was one long day, you would never have the opportunity to reset. But they often say we die every day and we're reborn every day that we go to sleep to let go of our past, let go of what's happened to us the previous day to sleep, reset our nervous system and wake up in the morning. And even if you've had a bad night's sleep, it's still a new day. Let go of the past and refresh and start anew and say, it doesn't matter how long I've been retraining, today is a new day. I focus on today.
