Drupal is an extremely common CMS and it's very powerful and it works great on xCloud. In this video, I'm going to show you how to do a one-click install that takes out all of the pain of setting up databases and copying files and all that kind of stuff. If you want to read about it rather than listen to a video, there's great documentation right here. It goes through every step. And explains exactly how to do it. Um, the method I'm going to show you is actually a little simpler than this one because xCloud is awesome and keeps adding new stuff. So let's get started. I'm here on my xCloud panel and I'm going to click new site and I'm going to go to one-click apps. Uh, we're up to 394 available now. It gets more every time I make a new video. So right here, I'm going to search for Drupal and there it is. I click it and right now xCloud is figuring out if I have a server that would do it and if not, offer a new one. So it looks like I actually have quite a few that would do it. Now I know that these have a number of apps on them already and putting Drupal next to it would be overloading it. So I'm going to deploy on a new server. So I click there and I have to give it a name. There we go. And by default it chooses Docker NGINX and you're going to need to keep that if you set up Drupal yourself. You can choose a variety of xCloud VPSs depending on how much power you need and depending how much traffic you're going to have, etc. You can choose a region, and, uh, I don't have any database servers set up yet because— so I'm going to leave it at none. Put in an administrator email, which is me, and pay and deploy. All right. That took about 7 minutes, so not long at all. Our server is set up. I'm going to go to site list and here's our Drupal site and I'm going to go in there. And so in here you could go live with a real domain or do any of the normal things that you do with any other site on xCloud. Um, but I'm going to open this one up and here we are looking at a Drupal site, all set up, database working, everything connected. Um, but then something always important to remember is anytime you do a one-click install, always check access data credentials because this is probably going to tell you how to log in. Uh, for example, Here is the login URL for our new site, and it's /user/login. And here are, uh, credentials. So I'm going to copy that password. The username is admin. Oh, that's over here. And there we go. We are in the admin panel. There are some updates available, like always with every app, basically the first time you install it, there's a couple of updates. And this is normal Drupal. You're all set. You're able to create pages. If we go to pages here, we can Edit the homepage. And there we are, just like that. There's that, uh, hero block, and you can change the stuff that goes inside of it over here. And that's all there is to setting up Drupal with a one-click install. Uh, after this, it's just pure Drupal. There's nothing special about xCloud as far as configuring Drupal. Um, But it's just make it really, really fast and easy to get set up and rolling with Drupal. So if you want to give it a shot, this is your opportunity.
