I'd like to show you how to set up OpenSEO on xCloud using their one-click install process. If you're not familiar with OpenSEO, I'll give you a really brief tour before we dive into setting it up. You can see their website here. If you're familiar with things like Ahrefs, some people call it Ahrefs, or Semrush, It's like that, but open source. They do have a hosted model, which you can see under pricing. They offer it for $10 a month, or you can put it on your laptop, desktop, or on an xCloud instance. Here's a quick list of the features, keyword research, rank tracking, all of that. Resources options are here. There are a zillion great videos on YouTube about OpenSEO specifically. And if you want to learn more, I'm going to let you watch those. This video is about setting it up on xCloud. So let's get started. I'm here in my xCloud panel and I'm going to start by clicking New Site rather than New Server. And the one-click process will detect if any of my existing servers can support OpenSEO. So right here, I'm going to click One-Click Apps. There are 175 of them. It's growing like crazy. Right at the top is OpenSEO. So I'm going to click that. And it says I don't have any compatible servers. So I have 2, and they're both set up pretty specifically for WordPress, not for OpenSEO. So it wants a new managed server. It recommends 4 gigabytes of RAM, 2 virtual CPUs, and 8 gigabytes of storage. Okay. Of disk space running Docker NGINX. So I'm just going to click Create Managed Server. I'm going to create a server name. I'm not going to do tags, leave it at Docker NGINX. I'm going to choose xCloud Managed. You could do Vultr. I'm going to choose 1 month for now. You can choose where You want it hosted. I'm nearer to Washington, D.C. than San Francisco. Then at some point you're going to need a Data for SEO API key. That's free. You can either go get it now and put it in or do it after. I'm going to choose to do it after. Same for these other things, Open Router API, Google Auth, etc. However, this I do want to set up myself. The admin username is going to be admin. And I'm going to create a password. And it needs to be 12 characters. So I'm going to make it. And I'm going to delete this when I'm done. So don't bother trying. So I'm going to click pay and deploy. And this takes the normal 10 to 15 minutes that xCloud always takes to set up. A whole new server. So I'm going to snip that out via editing and be right back. All right. Our server is set up and the site is set up. I'm going to click here and it wants my username and password that I created before. And it's set up. As I mentioned earlier, the first thing it's going to want is an API key for Data for SEO. I'm going to click the open. Setup guide. It's not as easy as just grabbing key and putting it in. You have to go get one and then you have to come back and base64 encode it and save the API key, et cetera. But that's OpenSEO setup, not xCloud one-click setup. So if you're familiar with OpenSEO already, then you can take it from here. Um, all I really had to do in here was say, I want a new site, pick OpenSEO off the one-click list and go. And here we are. It's all set up. Uh, let's see, dismiss. Uh, so we're ready to go. Uh, it's one more example of how quick and easy it is to get things set up on xCloud with one-click installs. And I want to, I want to point out, uh, one more thing. One-click apps. There's 171 listed here. So if there's something you want, you should probably check here before get cloning it yourself and trying to set it up someplace because it's probably here. So I hope OpenSEO works well for you.
