How To Setup A Vultr Server in xCloud and Get Free Hosting For 6 Months

Welcome to the xCloud tutorial. Today we will learn how to set up a Vulture server in Xcloud and get free hosting for six months. What we will do first is sign up for Xcloud, provide your credentials and log into the dashboard. Now we will integrate Vultr Server for that from Xcloud Dashboard. Click on the Add New button to add a server. Right now Vultr offers its new Xcloud users free hosting for six months worth $100. Select Vultr Server from the available Cloud Providers list. On the next screen select whether the Vultr account is the new one or existing one. We will create a completely new account for this tutorial. Add your Vultr label we used John Doe and then add Vultr API. For that you have to go to the Vultr website, go to vultr.com and sign up. After that add all credentials and log in to Vultr account. Now complete the server payment here. Provide all your card details. Put a check mark after agreeing to terms of Service before making the purchase. Add coupon code xcloud and get $100 free. Then click on the Link Credit Card button. Go to the API tab, then click on the Enable API button. Make sure you have added access to the required subnets before getting the API key. Now copy the API key. There is an optional choice to add new users who will have access to the created server. For that go to the User tab and from there click on Add a New User button. Provide your name and email address, select Password or Generate randomly in instant. Now enable important accesses like Manage servers, use servers, etc. And then click on the Add User button. Let's go back to the Xcloud site. Then add the copied API key and click on the Verify button to authorize the connection to Vultr with the xCloud account. In the next screen you will see your provider level is connected. Add your server name, size, region and database server. You can back up a full server on Vultr for $1 per month, enabling it on checkbox. Tick on additional checkboxes and click on the next button. Now Xcloud will start setting up your server.
