Here's how I'd handle objection if I was brand new in F&I. I've coached at more than 200 stores and the biggest pattern I see is managers still handling 6 objections per deal. And guess what? You come home exhausted. If I had to start over, I'd stop handling them and I'd simply prevent them. Keep it simple. Objections are a symptom of something missing earlier in the deal. You fix the front end, you fix the whole thing. First, acknowledge without arguing. The moment you push back, You confirm their guard was right to go up. Acknowledge, restate, and move on. Second, audit your survey. Skip it and you build resistance on purpose. The survey is where objections die before they're ever spoken. And third, audit your numbers transfer. If you ask if their payment is correct instead of stating it, the customer simply does what? Their defenses go up, 'cause you don't seem like you know what you're doing, before the menu ever opens. Save this if you're tired of fighting your customers.
