The thing a finance manager needs to quit doing immediately right now to get to the next level is to stop changing their process right now. They need to stick with something for a minimum of 30 days and do it 100%, not 95%, not 90%, 100% the same way every day for an entire month at a minimum. And they need to do a 5-minute deal breakdown at the end of every single deal. When they do that and they assess it, they'll be able to find out what's going on and why they're not ultimately delivering on the results that they're aiming for. And when they do that, they can create a tactical plan to systematically go through it and get to those levels that they want to get to.
