A 110-acre parcel in Tiburon was purchased for $42.1 million and merged with an existing 122-acre preserve to create a 232-acre public park. The land is already open to hikers via three trailheads on Ridge Road, Spanish Trail Road, and Paradise Drive.

A 110-acre parcel of land in Tiburon has just been purchased from a private company and is going to be available to the public. An SF-based nonprofit called Trust for Public Land and Tiburon-based Tiburon Open Space purchased the parcel on the southern Tiburon Ridge from Martha Company for $42.1 million. It'll be combined with the 122-acre Old St. Hillary's Open Space Preserve, making a total of 232 acres of hiking trails and vistas that are available for public use in Tiburon. An event will be held in October to commemorate this momentous transaction, but the preserve is already open to the public to the public including those miles of trails off Ridge Road, Spanish Trail Road, and Paradise Drive. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Follow me for more Bay Area real estate.
