Austin Klar tours The Proper, a 131-room San Francisco hotel designed by Kelly Wearstler in a 1910 Beaux-Arts building. The rooftop bar Charmaine's and walkable location near Union Square make it stand out among the city's luxury properties.
My favorite hotel in San Francisco from a design standpoint has to be The Proper in the San Francisco Mid-Market neighborhood. The 131-room hotel that opened in 2017 in a flatiron-style beaux-arts building in San Francisco's Mid-Market neighborhood brings serious luxury vibes to an otherwise not-so-luxurious neighborhood. The hotel has beautifully designed interiors done by the world-famous designer Kelly Wearstler, and it has one of the best rooftop bars in the city, Charmaine's. The hotel is also walking distance to San Francisco's Theater District and Union Square. Follow me for more of the best Bay Area real estate.
