An environmental impact report is under review for an affordable housing complex in Marin County's unincorporated San Quentin community. The proposed Oak Hill Apartments, if approved, would bring 250 new affordable housing units spread across 2 structures on an 8.3-acre hillside lot off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. And if approved as proposed, it would be the largest affordable housing complex in Marin in the last 50 years. Of the 250 units, 135 of them will be designated specifically for county employees that are low to moderate income, and the remaining units will be allocated to anybody who is low to extremely low income levels. The 50-foot tall structure will yield 421,000 square feet of space with a mix of studios, junior 1-bedrooms, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units. There will also be parking for over 300 cars and over 200 bikes. Follow me for more Bay Area real estate. Bye!
