Did you know that San Francisco actually has some pretty awesome beaches? Well, here are 3 that you should visit if you're in town. Number 1 on the list is Ocean Beach. It is on the westernmost border of San Francisco, right next to Golden Gate Park, right next to the San Francisco Zoo. It is a very heavily trafficked area for surfers because of the wind conditions and the weather conditions make for incredible surf there. There are also a lot of fire pits there, but definitely if you're thinking about going there, it's going to get cold at some point, so make sure you bring a jacket. Number 2 on the list is Baker Beach. It's a mile-long stretch of beach underneath cliffs bordering the Presidio National Forest and gives you some of the most iconic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean and Marin Headlands. Number 3 on the list is East Beach at Crissy Field. The beach is smaller than the other 2, but there are a lot of great natural walking trails in the area. It's also walking distance to the marina, all the shops, all the restaurants that are there, and all the incredible homes that are there. There are also picnic tables throughout the area with great views of, you know, the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, and Alcatraz.
