3 favorite parks in San Francisco for outdoor sports. First up is Joe DiMaggio Playground in North Beach. When I first moved to San Francisco, I lived just a couple blocks from here, and honestly, the park was not that nice. They completely renovated it back in 2015, and the basketball courts and tennis courts there are among the nicest in the entire city. There's also an indoor swimming pool and a kids' playground. Next up is George Sterling Park in Russian Hill. These basketball and tennis courts have the best views from any sports court in the entire city. Only downside is they're near the top of Russian Hill, so it's definitely going to get a little windy up there. Last up is Dolores Park in the Mission, which is one of my favorite parks in the city with great views of downtown. The major renovation back in 2016 brought revitalized basketball courts and tennis courts while maintaining the great vantage points views of downtown from the open grass areas in the rest of the park.
