Everyone knows the famous Lombard Street, but it's actually not the most crooked street in San Francisco. Vermont Street in Potrero Hill has actually been measured to have more curvature than Lombard, but let's be real, it's not as pretty as Lombard and it doesn't have those views. Now, even though not as pretty, it has been featured in several big-time movies, including 1973's Magnum Force starring Clint Eastwood and the 1968 film Bullitt where Steve McQueen pilots his Mustang. The curvy part of Vermont Street is between 20th and 22nd, and it's right next to a very lovely park, McKinley Square. And it's also really close to restaurants on 18th and 20th in Potrero Hill, so definitely you can make a whole day out of a visit there. Call me for more Bay Area sites.
