I'm convinced there's no such thing as a forever home in San Francisco unless you have well north of $5 million to spend, have no intent on having kids, and even if you do check those boxes, you're probably only looking in a very small subsection of the city, which makes it really tough to find your forever home. If you are after a forever home, Marin County is a way better bet. Some of the best public schools in the country, the average lot size is over 5 times the average lot size in San Francisco, so you get proper front yards, proper backyards, your house isn't on top of your neighbors, you're not sharing walls with your neighbors, so you have way more privacy. And believe it or not, the median home price in Marin County is about $100 less per foot than it is in San Francisco. So you really do get some great value, and that's before you even consider how much more land you get in Marin than in San Francisco. I have a full video on my YouTube channel about why so many people are moving to Marin County instead of San Francisco to find their forever home. Go check it out, link's in my bio, and let me know what you think in the comments. Hello.
