Another development project is in the works from one of the most prolific Bay Area developers, J.S. Sullivan, and the project renderings look gorgeous. The proposal would see the redevelopment of the John DeLucchi Sheet Metal Building on the border of Russian Hill and North Beach. The current plan is to bring 20 new residences for ownership to market, some of which would be affordable units. RG Architecture is the brains behind the design, which would see a 6-story modern building with a terrace that separates a 2-story podium from the rest of the building behind it. And of those 6 stories, 25,900 square feet would be for residential and 3,400 square feet would be for a ground-level garage. The current plans call for 11 one-bedrooms, 6 two-bedrooms, 3 3-bedrooms, and enough parking for 10 cars and 20 bikes. Follow me for more Bay Area real estate.
