Brookfield Partners is redeveloping San Francisco's Pier 70, a former shipyard, into 2,000 housing units (30% below market rate), over a million square feet of offices, and 9 acres of parks. The waterfront will be publicly accessible for the first time in a century.

There's a massive development going on at San Francisco's Pier 70 with Brookfield Partners and the Port of San Francisco that will transform the former industrial site into a beautiful new mixed-use space. The plans call for 9 acres of parks and rec space, 2,000 new housing units, 30% of which will be below market rate, over a million square feet of new office space, and hundreds of thousands of square feet of retail, production, and nonprofit art space. It's gonna be a huge change from the defunct warehousing and shipbuilding site, and once complete, will mark the first time in a century the space will really be available to the public. I'm really excited to see how it transforms the waterfront. They've already done an incredible job with Crane Cove Park and the new RH Gallery. I made a YouTube video going over the entire development, what's already open and what's coming. Go check it out. Comment the word video and I'll send you a link.
