A monster new credit card lounge is coming to SFO. SFO's in the middle of a $2.6 billion renovation to Terminal 3, and among the new amenity spaces they're creating is a 27,000-square-foot credit card lounge. The lounge is expected to open in 2028 and will be in a brand new 7-story structure connecting Terminal 3 to the International Terminal. But beyond where it is and what it is, we don't know who's gonna be taking over the space. SFO has issued requests for proposals to occupy this space to several different credit card companies, and responses to those requests are due back in March of 2026, with the center to be announced in the summer. Many people speculate it'll be a Chase Sapphire Reserve lounge to take on the Amex lounge that's already at Terminal 3, and it will be moving back to its original space once the renovation is complete. I'm a Chase Reserve holder. I would love a Chase lounge there. Let me know in the comments what you'd want, and follow me for more Bay Area real estate.
