In this video, Austin Klar announces a $22.4 million expansion of the Presidio Tunnel Tops in San Francisco. The project converts the former sports‑basement parking lot at Crissy Field into a 1.5‑acre green area called Outpost Meadow. Key highlights include panoramic Golden Gate and Bay views, seating for 240 visitors, an accessible trail linking to the Outpost Playground that accommodates strollers and wheelchairs, and the demolition of an old Army outpost with reconstruction of parking to support the new space. The meadow is slated to open in the summer of 2025, and Klar promises a future update and tour.

The popular Presidio Tunnel Tops are about to get even better. The city is working on a $22.4 million expansion of the park that is taking the sports basement parking lot at Crissy Field and turning it into a 1.5-acre open green space. The new park will feature those A-plus Golden Gate and Bay views, enough seating for 240 people, and a new trail to the Outpost Playground with room for strollers and wheelchairs. Construction actually involved demolition of an old Army outpost as well as reconstruction of a parking lot to accommodate the new space. The new addition known as Outpost Meadow is scheduled to open open in summer of 2025. I will definitely be giving you an update and a tour when it opens, so follow me for more information.
