A landmark brewery in San Francisco recently reopened its doors with new local ownership, and I can't wait to get back over there. Magnolia Brewing opened in the Haight-Ashbury in 1997, making craft beers that were available only locally at the brewery. The company filed for bankruptcy almost a decade ago and was purchased by New Belgium out of bankruptcy in 2017. The neighborhood staple shut its doors several months ago after a subsequent sale to local bar and brewery owners, as well as the former Magnolia manager. But good news for residents and visitors, it is now reopened with beer production resuming at the location, and it won't be distributed broadly. It'll still only be available at the local brewery. The interior also got a light remodel during the closure, and there are also plans to host brunches with live performances as well. Definitely worth checking out.
