A nearly 50-foot-tall statue of a naked woman is coming to San Francisco's Union Square. Marco Cochrane, a Petaluma-based artist, is bringing the steel statue he built for Burning Man in 2015 to the city. It's called R-Evolution, or Revolution. The statue has been featured all over the country, most recently in places like Miami and Las Vegas, and it's currently for sale, at least according to his website. The 13,000-pound statue with a 16,000-pound base is gonna debut in Union Square on February 6th, and you better believe the city's throwing a party. There's gonna be a bar, food truck, and afterwards, Since it's happening on the first Thursday of February, there's gonna be a March to the Downtown First Thursday event for that day. Definitely looking forward to seeing this in person. Let me know what you think in the comments.
