Huge news in San Francisco. The $100 million fix for the infamously leaning Millennium Tower has just been completed. The building now stands an inch straighter than it did before after 18 concrete piles were driven 275 feet below the surface to bedrock. The new pile system has shifted 18 million pounds of weight off the original foundation, and as time goes on, weight will continue to transfer and further correct the building's sink and tilt. The work has been overseen by the Department of Building Inspection and a ton of experts, and you know a ton of lawyers have had their eye on this thing too. For the owner's sakes and any future residents' sakes, I do really hope the fix is in and that there won't be any more issues and the building will continue to recover. There are around 20 units available for sale in the building right now, ranging from a 1-bedroom for $600,000 all the way up to the penthouse for $14 million. What do you think? Is there a price you'd ever consider living in the building?
