A new housing development might be coming just a couple blocks from Jackson Square in San Francisco. N17 Development recently submitted an application for an 8-story building at the corner of Broadway and Sansom in the heart of downtown. The proposed building designed by BDE Architecture and landscape architecture from Creo would be 87 feet tall, 29,200 square feet for residential space for 21 condos, 4,200 square feet for parking, and there'd be a shared amenity rooftop. Unit mix consists of 14 2-bedrooms and 7 3-bedrooms, and 3 of the 21 units would be affordable housing. Nothing has been formally approved yet, and construction would take at least a couple of years once they start, but it's nice to see some new applications in the mix in the area.
