In this brief video, Austin Klar, a former lawyer now real‑estate agent and developer, introduces Presidio Terrace, the sole private gated community in San Francisco. He describes the neighborhood as a single oval‑shaped block that has been homeowner‑managed since the early 1900s, offering 24‑hour security and seclusion adjacent to the Presidio National Park. Klar notes the area’s appeal to wealthy and influential politicians and financiers, underscored by a recent 2021 home sale of $13.6 million. Did you know that San Francisco's most exclusive street resides in San Francisco's only private gated community? This is Austin Klar, your lawyer turned real estate agent and real estate developer in San Francisco, and I'm talking about Presidio Terrace. Presidio Terrace is a single oval-shaped block in a private development that's been managed by the homeowners since at least the early 1900s. The neighborhood has attracted some of the wealthiest and most powerful politicians and financiers over the years, and that's partly thanks to the 24-hour security that resides right outside and its relative seclusion right next to Presidio National Park. Shocker, homes here are not cheap. The last one that traded sold in 2021 for $13.6 million. Follow me for more of the best real estate in San Francisco.
